Niko starts to wake up after the ambush. His vision blurs but can see almost 80%. He sees a man, who was Dimitri Rascalov with a goatee beard and glass, looking at him. He puts his left hand on the end of the chair Niko was sitting on and then slaps him hard. "Wake up!" Dimitri shouts. Niko coughs a little as he gets his vision back to normal. He looks at his surroundings as he finds out he is tied up to a chair as well Kaneki, Touka, and Roman. The only difference is that Touka and Roman had gags in their mouths.
"We had to gag them..." Dimitri says with a russian accent as he points at both Touka and Roman. "...to stop the screaming and the biting." Of course Touka and Roman would have gags in their mouths because Touka is a ghoul and can eat a person, and Roman is such a cry baby. "You shouldn't have brought them here, Andrei," the man then points to the person that knocked Niko, Kaneki, and Touka out.
"Why not?" Andrei said as Dimitri walks out the basement. "You two have been bad boys, Mr. Balkan." He points out to Niko and Kaneki. "And the boss is not happy."
Niko starts to smile. "Oh no! I shit my pants!" Niko sarcastically says as he laughs.
"Not yet, but you will," Andrei then grabs a hacksaw from a top of a work vault. "Who are you working for?"
"Um... my cousin, Roman, and my friend's girlfriend, Touka." Roman had a shocked while Touka had an embarrassed look as she was blushing. Kaneki, knew he was joking, looks at Niko and laughs a bit, quietly and creepy. "Don't be an idiot."
"That's not good enough. I'm gonna saw off you fucking arm. Speak!" Andrei demands.
"Ok, ok, your dad likes it up the ass. What do you want me to say, huh?" Niko as he laughs as well as Kaneki in a near-insane laugh. "Good one," Kaneki says. Niko quiets down a bit after hearing Kaneki's laugh and before Andrei butts Niko's head with the tip of the hacksaw. He continues to laugh as well as Kaneki before Andrei slaps him the hacksaw and then silence.
"Very funny, you think your so smart?!" Andrei then position himself behind Niko.
"No! I'm tied up in a basement along way from home, while some ape threatens me with a hacksaw. So no, I'm not that smart." Niko feels the hacksaw through his jacket as it touches him.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" A voice heard upstairs. "My fucking wife is watching television." A man with a red shirt approaches the problem with the same man who was in the basement earlier, and a gun.
Kaneki looks at the man and in his thoughts, he finds out it was Mikhail Faustin, the gang boss who is friends with Vlad. Oh no, Kaneki thought.
"Good lord, what are you doing?" Mikhail questioned.
"Nothing... I mean..." Andrei rephrasing his words. "I was finding out who he is..."
"And? Who is he?"
"He is... his cousin."
Mikhail's angry rose as he feels dumbfounded of what Andrei's answer was. "You were about to cut up some guy in my house, making all that noise, to find out he is his cousin?" He turns to Dimitri. "Where do you find this idiot?"
"He was a friend of your sergeant, when we were in Vladivostok," Dimitri answers.
"He's an imbecile," Mikhail goes to Niko. "So, Niko Bellic. You and Ken Kaneki, your ghoul friend. You think it's okay to kill my employees?"
"If he's an asshole, yes," Niko answers. Mikhail then turns to Andrei, who was standing behind him, points his gun at him, shoots him in the head point blank and killing him as Andrei's body falls backwards landing on a pile of boxes. Everyone in the room reacts to the gunshot in a scared expression and either squealed or looked away
"I agree," Mikhail evilly says.
"Mikhail!" Dimitri shouts at Mikhail.
Mikhail turns to Dimitri. "Asshole look at me like I am piece of shit."
"Oh my god," Dimitri says in russian. Mikhail goes to the right side of Niko.
"Now listen... Niko Bellic. You and your ghoul friend are very lucky Vlad was an idiot. The only reason I keep him around is because I fuck his sister." He puts his hand on Niko's chin and made him turn his head to him, although Niko's eyes were on him the whole time. "Look at me. You owe me. I got some dickheads in my neighborhood trying to run a shipment, yeah?"
"And we've found a buyer for the TVs," Dimitri adds to Mikhail's sentence.
"Yes, a buyer, but you've got to get them for us so we can make the sale."
"Can you untie everyone here, starting with Kaneki?" Niko asks. Mikhail agrees and turns to Dimitri and gives him a sign to untie them.
"Yes," Dimitri said again in russian. "Don't do anything stupid, ghoul." He unties Kaneki from the chair as he stood up and walked up to Touka and takes the gag off of her and then unties her.
"Son of bitches," Touka mumbles out loud as she stood up and wiped her mouth. "Now, Roman?" Dimitri then goes to Roman to untie him.
As Dimitri takes off the gag off of Roman, he screams out, "HELP! HELP ME!"
"Shut up, Roman," Niko, still tied, tries to calm Roman down but he wouldn't stop yelling. "Roman, shut up."
"Shut him up," Mikhail ordered Dimitri as he worries that his wife will get angry.
"What you want me to do?" Dimitri says to Mikhail.
"Shut up, Roman!" Niko keeps telling to Roman.
"Listen to him, Roman!" Touka says to Roman as he tries to approach to him put was stopped by Dimitri's arm.
The ordeal keeps on going on going with Mikhail saying "Shut the fuck up," and Dimitri telling him "He's just screaming that's it." Kaneki comes up to Roman and touches him on the shoulder telling him "Roman, calm down! Your getting yourself killed here!"
"ROMAN, SHUT UP!" Niko yells at the top of his lungs.
"I can't make him shut up!" Dimitri says as Mikhail comes up to the three, shoves Kaneki out of the way, and shoots Roman in the stomach, making him yell in pain.
"FUCK!" Niko yells out loud.
"Mikhail!" Dimitri yells.
"You dick!" Touka shouts.
Mikhail turns to Touka then Niko and tells them, "Shut up!"
Dimitri continues, "Stop shooting people, you maniac!"
"My wife doesn't like when people shout!"
"Whatever!" Dimitri points to Niko. "You three better get those screens soon."
"Or I will personally pull your cousin's stitches out, one by one, and watch his guts spill onto the floor. Clean this shit up!" Mikhail leaves the basement of torture.
Dimitri then proceeds to untie Niko in a rush. "Listen, we'll take care of your cousin, but you better get a police car, and then you call me."
Niko finally gets up and head straight to Roman, bleeding, while Touka holds the wound with her hand. He puts his hands on Roman's shoulders. "Roman. Roman."
"Go, go, go. I... I'll take care of him. Here's my phone number." Dimitri gives a piece of paper he keeps with him and gave it to Niko. Niko, Kaneki, and Touka both leave the basement as Niko curses "Fuck!" The three finally got out of Mikhail's manson to catch their breaths.
"Great... Just great..." Touka mumbles out loud. "So how are we even going to find a police car in this hell hole?"
"We'll think of something, just give us a minute," Kaneki says. Suddenly, he hears police sirens coming from the left of the three's direction. He finally sees the cop car as it pulls up to a house as two officers came out and checked the situation they were responding to. Oh, nevermind, Kaneki thought.
The three sneaked their way to the police cruiser and got in. Niko, at the driver seat, backs up the car and heads out to the streets as they were in a suburb. He got his phone out and started to call Dimitri. The phone rings and Dimitri answered. "We have the police car, what now?" He questioned.
"The van is driving around South Broker," Dimitri over the phone. "Pull it over, take it to our lockup on Dukes Drive."
Niko gets confused of what Dimitri said. "Be more specific. How many vans you think there are in South Broker?"
"That is a problem for you and your cousin, not me. Keep pulling vans over until you find the TVs. Goodbye." The phone hangs up.
"So, how are going to find the van?" Kaneki questioned.
"Looks like we are going to have to pull over any types vans in this area," Niko answered. Kenaki then puts his hands behind his head in frustration.
"Just perfect!" Touka shouts out.
"Well sorry, your going to have to suck it up, because this is the only way to do this job and get Roman home."
Mins later, after searching, they find a van and pulled it over with the police sirens. Niko only, got out of the car and pointed his gun, which he still has surprisingly, at the driver telling him to get out and open the backdoors to the van. As the driver opened the backdoors, Niko sees nothing. He curses in Serbian and walks back to the police car. "There's nothing in that van."
Another couple mins later, they found another van with a passenger. Niko pulled it over and this time had both Kaneki and Touka with him out of the car.
"Hey, you two, out of the van," Kaneki says to the two people in the car.
"Get out with no funny business," Niko followed as he points his gun at them.
"You're making a mistake," the van driver says as he gets out of the vehicle, "we paying protection money to Kenny Petrovic." The van driver's accomplice then opens the backdoors. "You gonna be sorry, asshole. I'm dead if I lose this shipment." The two pulled their gun out. Kaneki stopped them with his Kagune as it swings to their hands, cutting them on their skin knocking their guns out to the side. "Oh shit, ok. You win. Take it. It's yours." The two ran away far from them.
"Ok, now the lock up," Kaneki says. The three get into the van and drove off with no heat behind them. They reach the lock up in Dukes Drive and put the van in a storage garage.
"Ok, looks like we're good," Niko says. "I'm going to check if Roman's ok. You guys better head off."
"Got it, let's not try to get in Mr. Faustin's way," Kaneki said.
"Yeah, lets not," Touka followed. "See you later, Niko." They both walk away to the street.
Niko gets his phone out and calls Dimitri. "We've left the van where you say. How's Roman?"
"He's ok. A little scared, but ok. You did good. Mikhail needs someone like you and those ghouls. Stop by and see him sometime." He hangs up.
Niko now wonders that if himself, Kaneki and Touka are Mr. Faustin's lap dogs now. Just great, he thought. Well, nothing I can do about it now.
