Chapter 35
George spends the night many times over the summer. He volunteers his time to take her shopping for her supplies, all the while trying to get her to let him pay for them. The couple meets up with Harry, Sue, Fred, Angie and Neville for lunch. Harry relates his suspicions of Draco being pulled into the employ of Riddle.
Though she passes over Harry's assertions, Hermione personally thinks that he may be correct, not that she thinks her biggest pain in the arse would join up willingly. She is sure that Malfoy is being coercedby his father.
The group agree to keep an eye out for him and go off to continue gathering their supplies. George offers to show Hermione around the shop, which had just opened. She agrees and declares it amazing. Fred and Angie are praising Hermione's suggestions of the register and inventory system when their younger siblings and Molly walk in.
The elder ginger woman walks up to the twins, amazed at the amount of customers in the store. She greets her sons like she would normally greet Ron or Harry, ignoring the two girls next to them. Both boys roll their eyes at their girlfriends.
George and Fred turn towards Hermione. "As we were about to say, George registered the innovation with the Ministry in all three of our names. He's already started making more for the other shops. We will share in the profits." Fred tells her. Hermione's eyes widen.
"You two didn't have to do that. I just suggested it to make life easier on the two of you." She cries out.
"Yes, we did. It was your idea. George made it and because we are equal partners in the business, my name is there." He smiles at her unselfish assertion.
Hermione hugs both twins. "Thank you, boys." She turns to Angelina. "One for you too." She opens her arms. The brunette laughs and hugs the younger woman. They have become closer since George and Hermione announced their relationship publicly.
