A Thanksgiving story for one of my good friends, robotman25. :) Here you go, Amigo! :) Enjoy! :)

Skylanders belongs to Activision. Blaze, Flare, Viola, Azula, and Astrid belong to robotman25. I only own Rachel.

The Blessings We Have

Rachel smiled as she entered the house, her hands full as she carried a platter that had a juicy, roasted turkey on it. "Special delivery," she called out.

Roller, very pregnant with twins, looked up from the table and smiled. "Oh, thank you, Rachel," she said. "I'm afraid I can't do much at the moment, but I got the mashed potatoes and squash and Flare helped me with the cranberry sauce and the rolls. The string beans are steaming right now and Blaze said he was coming with the gravy and stuffing."

"Sounds like you're good to go," the Tech/Fire Portal Master said before smiling. "And it won't be long before the twins are born, huh?"

"About another month," the mother said before looking away.

"Roller? What is it?" Rachel asked.

The skater sighed. "Well, I never told Blaze this, but...vampires can only give birth to five children in their lifetime," she said. "So...after the twins...I won't be able to get pregnant again."

The Tech/Fire Portal Master sat down. "Roller, Blaze loves you," she said. "And he's not going to leave you because after the twins are born you can't get pregnant again." She took Roller's left hand and held it up, pointing to her wedding ring. "He made a promise to you and when Blaze makes a promise, he doesn't go back on it, no matter the circumstances."

The Undead Skylander smiled. "I know, but...I hope he's okay with us just having six kids. And all girls for that matter," she said. "I wish I could have given him a boy to carry on the legacy."

Rachel smiled. "Roller, yours and Blaze's legacy will be carried on in the girls," she said. "And you both have four beautiful daughters and two more beautiful daughters on the way. You two are so blessed."

"That we are," came Blaze's voice as he came in. "And I couldn't ask for more."

Roller Brawl stood up carefully. "Hey, my flaming fire," she said with a smile before looking a bit worried. "How much did you hear?"

"All of it," he said before going up to her. "Roller, it's okay. I've known for a while that vampires could only give birth to five children in their lifetime." He smiled. "And I'm okay with having six girls, because this means that I can not only protect you, but them too." He pulled her into a hug. "I'm blessed to have the most beautiful wife and four equally beautiful daughters and two more beautiful daughters on the way."

She looked at him. "You're okay having all daughters and no sons?" She asked.

He nodded. "Yes, because they are our daughters," he said, surprising her by scooping her up into his arms.

"Oh, wait, Handsome! I'm too heavy!" Roller gasped in shock.

"Not at all, my beautiful rose," he said, kissing her neck and making her giggle. "You're perfect and I'm going to carry you around anytime, even when we're old and gray."

Rachel smiled as she saw this. "Happy Thanksgiving, guys," she said. "I should get home to my handsome man and our children."

Blaze nodded. "Thanks again, Rach," he said. "Happy Thanksgiving."

"My pleasure, my friends."

With that, Rachel left and Blaze looked around. "Girls?" He called out.

A gasp sounded out. "Daddy!" The voice of his oldest daughter cried out. "Viola! Azula! Astrid! Daddy's home!"

"Dada!" Viola cried out happily.

"Daddy!" Astrid called out.

A happy squeal came from Azula before running feet came towards them and they saw Flare, Viola, and Astrid running down the hallway, Flare carrying Azula and begin careful not to run too fast as she carried her youngest sister.

Chuckling, Blaze gently set his wife down in a chair, kissing her on the lips before turning to hug his four other daughters. "Were you girls good while I was gone?" He asked.

"Yes, Daddy," Flare said. "Viola and Astrid played in the living room and I helped Mommy with dinner."

"She did," said Roller as she accepted Azula into her arms.

The Fire/Undead/Water Portal Master smiled. "Daddy is very proud of you girls," he said. "Now, it's time to set the table for dinner. Flare, you get the silverware. Astrid, you can get the napkins. Viola, can you get your little sister's high chair?"

All three girls scampered to do what he had asked. Viola found Azula's high chair and carefully dragged it closer to the table. Thankfully, it was on wheels, so that made it easier for her. Astrid got out the napkins and laid them out while Flare set out the silverware. After that was done, Blaze brought out the dishes of food, insisting that his wife rest. "You've done a lot and you have the babies to think about now," he said gently.

She smiled. "You are the best man in the world, my flaming fire," she said. "Are you sure you'll be okay with us just having six kids?"

He nodded. "Yes, I am," he said. "I didn't marry you just to have kids, baby. I married you because I loved you and still do."

She smiled. "Sorry, I guess I was just worried for nothing," she said.

He hugged her, his hands gently resting on her stomach. "My beautiful rose, it's okay," he said. "You never have to worry."

Astrid came up to them. "Daddy, can we do something before we eat?" She asked.

He looked at her. "What, my little spark?" He asked.

She looked a bit shy. "Well, it is my first Thanksgiving with you guys," she said. "And...I once saw this on T.V. A family took turns saying what they are thankful for. Can we do that too?"

"That's a wonderful idea, Astrid," he said, picking her up. "Because Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for all you have and to appreciate the blessings we have received."

Roller Brawl nodded. "Alright, everyone sit down so that we can begin," she said.

They all sat down and Blaze smiled. "Astrid, do you want to go first?" He asked.

She nodded and took a deep breath. "I'm thankful for you and Mommy, Daddy," she said. "And for my sisters and our family and friends." She paused. "And that Mommy found me and rescued me."

Roller smiled, as did Blaze. Viola then perked up. "I'm thankful for everyone," she said. "And that Mommy is going to have two more baby sisters for us."

The parents chuckled in amusement before Flare spoke up. "I'm thankful for my whole family," she said. "And that stinky Kaos has been quiet lately."

"No argument here," Blaze said with a nod.

"What about Azula?" Viola asked.

Astrid smiled. "I bet she's thankful for us and for being our sister," she said.

Azula let out a happy coo at that. "I'd say that's a yes," Roller said before taking a deep breath. "I'm thankful for all my daughters and for my wonderful husband, who reminds me every day that he loves me and has stuck by me no matter what."

He smiled at her and kissed her. "What are you thankful for, Daddy?" Flare asked curiously.

Blaze smiled. "I'm thankful for all four of my daughters, my two soon-to-be daughters, and for my beautiful wife," he said. "Life has been good for us and I wouldn't change a thing."

"I wouldn't either," Astrid said.

Her father nodded. "Alright," he said, picking up the carving tools. "Let's eat and remember what we are thankful for as we eat."

The kids eagerly dug into the delicious food, as did Roller Brawl as she smiled at her husband and took his hand, making him look at her. "I love you, my flaming fire," she said, kissing him.

"I love you too, my beautiful rose," he said, kissing her back.

Master Eon smiled as he felt the happiness of everyone and nodded, looking towards the sky as he was thankful for not only his friends and the Skylanders, but also for the Portal Masters who helped to keep everyone safe.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! :) Please leave a review, but no flames!
