Whilst the heroes in Chicago were relaying the new information to the rest of the league Kat was taking a moment to relax in the cafeteria rather than continue to work out like she would normally do, and there was a good reason for that.

"Shayera said that she was going easy on me during that sparring match." Kat thought as she rubbed her aching arm. "If that's her idea of "going easy" then I hate to see how she deals with Supervillains! I don't think my bodies ached this much since my last sparring match against She-Hulk!"

"Typical Marco." Kat heard a familiar voice rang out and glanced up seeing Jenny enter the cafeteria with her sister though neither of them had noticed the Chinese-American woman at the table even though Kat was the only other person there not counting the kitchen staff. "He could've given me some forewarning about being sent up into space but noooo."

"Funny, I could've sworn dad told me that you wanted to be an Astronaut growing up." Kat quipped and Jenny went to retort but eased up when she saw her deceased partner's daughter. "Let me guess, Marco's group found you?" Kat asked as the two women joined her.

"It was Marco and this blonde girl called Stargirl at first, but we quickly met the other members of his group." Jenny nodded once she had sat down. "Seriously Kat, when you and the others went missing, we thought we'd never see you again."

"I have been active as Dragon Girl, as if the costume didn't give it away." Kat responded with a shrug as it started to sink in. "But we haven't been able to contact home until a few days ago, wait, missing? Mom never mentioned filing a missing person's report."

"She filed one after you failed to come home the day after you went to investigate that warehouse, and that was before things went to hell." Jenny explained and Kat winced as it sunk in. "I ended up in Chicago with my sister Kenzie, but I was the only NYPD cop around, Malcom, Captain Bennet, the others, they could be anywhere."

"I know it's a terrible thing to say but that almost makes me glad that my dad is dead." Kat sighed and Jenny raised an eyebrow. "I was stressed out enough about where my mom would end up when I got the news about the portal generator going haywire, I'd hate to imagine what would've gone through my mind if dad had jumped over too."

"Now that you put it like that, I can see your point." Jenny nodded in understanding as she shifted her weight. "Based on that, I'm guessing Cap's ruled out anyone dead as being capable of jumping over?"

"I think it's more wishful thinking on my part." Kat admitted with a shudder as she leaned forward. "Ever since that fateful day, I've been kicking myself for not helping dad subdue Shaun Gibson, with the logic being that he might still be alive today if I had, at the same time though seeing him get murdered was traumatic enough for me, I don't want to have to put down a zombified version of dad if that generator causes a zombie apocalypse."

"I'll drink to that." Jenny responded with a sigh before shaking her head. "Kat, I was there, and I've reviewed the CCTV footage several times, there was no way you could've prevented it without getting shot instead, not even with your flying speed."

"I know but looking back there were still several ways I could've prevented it, like going into the holding cells with dad." Kat responded before sighing. "And yeah, I know that no one in the precinct who wanted to keep their job would've allowed me back there and I was basically asking someone like the Rhino to break free when I did go back there but even so."

"Yeah, only reason you got back there in the first place was because you managed to the holding cells whilst most of the older heroes were coordinating with the police." Jenny responded before sighing as she shook her head. "Kat, believe me, I've been wishing that things had gone different that day as well, Howard was my first partner out of the police academy after all, but I haven't been able to come up with any scenario that ends with him surviving."

"Same, but it hasn't stopped me from running god knows how many "What If" scenarios through my head since then." Kat admitted with a sigh before shaking her head. "I thought I was over it, guess I was wrong."

"You witnessed your dad's murder, that's not exactly something you can get over in two years." Jenny pointed out and Kat had to admit that she had a point. "Seriously though Kat, it's been good to see you, Marco, Yuri, Ehsan and the Alverez Twins again, even if I wish Marco had given me more forewarning about beaming me up here."

"To be fair, the League members didn't give me and the others much of a choice, it was for the best because without those debriefings we would've been running around like headless chicken and it allowed is to make some allies in the League." Kat added as she shifted her weight. "I just happened to be the one who got stuck with the grumpy founding member of the league on my first day."

"Yeah, that doesn't sound fun." Jenny nodded in agreement before she shook her head. "Let's just hope that the other members of the NYPD are found soon."

"You and me both." Kat nodded before the two women continued to chat for a while.

*back on Earth, in Star City*

Whilst Rhino and Electro were being taken into custody the search continued for the other refugees from Kat's home dimension, unfortunately for two heroes that meant working with a known vigilante.

"Okay Frank, Punisher, whatever you like to be called." Green Arrow said as he turned to The Punisher who stood there with his arms crossed. "You can come with us but the moment you pull a gun on any criminal is the moment we're putting you down, understood?"

"You really think I'm intimidated by a Robin Hood wannabe?" The Punisher scoffed as he walked up to Green Arrow. "Your arrows, my bullets, what do you think will be faster?"

"His arrows, your bullets, my sonic scream." Black Canary chimed in as she glanced at The Punisher. "I don't normally use it on a regular human being unless they can take it, but I might be tempted if you threaten my boyfriend again."

"As long as he stays on the side of the law, neither of you will have anything to worry about." The Punisher grunted in response and the two heroes nodded. "Before I jumped over, I was on the trail of a major crime family in New York, but I guess I can join your search for other refugees."

"Good to know." Green Arrow nodded before putting a hand to his earpiece. "Adriana, do you copy?"

"Si, me and Claudia are still on the lookout across the street." Adriana responded as the Mexican teen glanced around. "I know you guys have run into the Punisher through listening in on your convo with Yuri, he's not going to be a problem, right?"

"Shouldn't be a problem." Green Arrow responded as he shook his head. "Once your beamed up to take over Yuri's monitor duty shift, you'll be replaced by Yuri, be ready because by my clock your shift should be starting soon."

"Yeah, sure, entrust the girl who can barely wrap her head around a laptop with monitoring League Activities." Adriana responded with a nervous laugh and Green Arrow shook his head. "What's the worst that can happen?"

"J'onn will be on monitoring duty with you, don't worry, if nothing else he'll be good company." Green Arrow assured her, and Adriana nodded. "Any other signs of jump overs?"

"No, not that I can see anyway." Adriana responded as she shook her head. "Soon as we see anything…" Adriana trailed off before the tell-tale sign that someone was jumping over, namely a sudden flash of blue light, appeared in the street below her. "Spoke too soon."

"Yeah, I can see the light from in here." Green Arrow responded with a nod as he and Black Canary ran over to the window. "I can't get a good angle from this window, do you see anything?"

"Whoever it is, he's built like a brick wall." Claudia nodded before a figure that caused all colour to drain from their faces stepped through. "Oh mierda."

"Based on your reaction, that's not someone I want to tangle with?" Green Arrow nodded as the mutant known as The Juggernaut stepped through the streets. "Who is this guy?"

"He's The Juggernaut, a guy so powerful that it usually takes the combined efforts of the X-Men to take him down." Adriana responded with a wince as cars swerved to get out of The Juggernaut's path. "Super strong, nearly indestructible, super stamina and durability, virtually unstoppable momentum."

"Uh huh, waiting for the part where we discuss how to beat him." Green Arrow responded as he stared at the massive Supervillain.

"We can't." Adriana responded bluntly and Green Arrow's eyes widened. "At least not without a telepath with us, he's vulnerable to mental attacks but only if we can get that damn helmet off, that's the only sure-fire way to stop him."

"And unless you two have telepathic abilities that you haven't told us about, we're up shit creek without a paddle." Black Canary responded as she took a deep breath. "But unless we take him down someone's going to get hurt at best, we need a plan here."

"You two and Lo Divino and El Sombre keep him busy on the ground." The Punisher chimed in as he got an assault rifle ready. "I'll provide covering fire from up here."

"Didn't I JUST say something about pulling a gun on a criminal?" Green Arrow protested and The Punisher shook his head.

"There's a reason I don't normally go after Super Criminals unless they've been paid to kill me, which happens more often than you think." The Punisher deadpanned as he trained his rifle on The Juggernaut. "Super Criminals typically take more than a few rounds to take down, The Juggernaut? I've never faced him, but I know from watching reports that he can shrug off bullets like they were nothing." The Punisher explained as he kept his eyes on The Juggernaut. "And I'm not aiming for his extremities, I'm aiming for the latches that keep that helmet on his head."

"Adriana, Claudia, you girls heard that, right?" Green Arrow asked as he put a hand to his earpiece.

"Loud and clear, we don't like it, but we can't come up with anything better." Claudia admitted as she shook her head. "Me and Addy can get down there quicker with our flying speed, just keep in mind that even if we do get that helmet off, that's just step one to beating him."

"Understood, try not to get yourselves hurt down there." Green Arrow nodded before motioning to Black Canary to follow him, as they did Green Arrow turned to Black Canary. "I don't trust him."

"The Punisher? Me either." Black Canary nodded in agreement as they raced down the stairs. "Normally I'd defer to the Mexican Twins' judgement on this, but Adriana and Claudia don't seem to trust him either."

"And that seems to be an opinion shared by the others from their home dimension if Yuri's reaction to this guy is anything to go by." Green Arrow nodded before they went down another flight. "But unfortunately, we're stuck teaming with a guy whose hobbies include killing criminals, if she wasn't dating The Question, I'd be half tempted to hook him up with Huntress!"

"Never mind the fact that Punisher is old enough to be her granddad, even if he doesn't look it." Black Canary pointed out and Green Arrow nodded in agreement. "Let's move!"

*out in the streets*

"I don't care where I am!" The Juggernaut bellowed as he stomped through the streets not realizing that Adriana and Claudia had just caught up with him. "I am the Juggernaut, I am unstoppable!"

"I am The Juggernaut! My mouth is about as big as my helmet!" Adriana called out in a mocking voice before the twin sisters fired twin beams of light and dark energy at the much larger Supervillain, the blasts didn't seem to faze him and The Juggernaut span around. "I am The Juggernaut and I can't get a date because…..."

"SHUT UP!" The Juggernaut bellowed before he threw a (thankfully empty) car at the twin heroes, they dodged it easily and glared at the much larger Supervillain. "Lo Divino and El Sombre? You can't beat me! No one can beat the Juggernaut!"

"Keep talking big mouth and we'll become that much more invested in finding a way to take you down!" Green Arrow's voice rang out and The Juggernaut looked up to see Ollie firing three explosive arrows at the helmet, they exploded on contact but when the smoke cleared the helmet was intact. "What the hell is that helmet made off?!"

"I don't think it's the helmet itself, he's able to generate a forcefield to protect himself." Adriana chimed in just before The Juggernaut threw another empty car at them. "Waiting for the covering fire from The Punisher, there's a sentence I never thought I'd say in my life."

"You got it." The Punisher responded before firing assault rifle rounds at the clasps securing the helmet to his head, at least until The Punisher spotted something. "Adriana, the car is heading towards some civilians!"

"Huh?!" Adriana called out before seeing the car hurtling towards a group of women around her age, Adriana didn't waste any more time before flying in front of the women and stopping the car's momentum with a shield made of light energy. "Are you hurt?" Adriana asked as she glanced over at the five women who shook their heads. "It's not safe here, get to cover quickly! I'll come get you once The Juggernaut's been dealt with!"

"Don't need to tell me twice." The woman closest to Adriana nodded and she looked her over, she was the same height as the twins (5ft 4) with waist length red hair and blue eyes and whilst she would never admit it outwardly, Adriana had to admit that she was beautiful. "We'll be in that building over there." The woman added as she pointed to the building which looked like a nightclub.

"Little early for going to a nightclub isn't it?" Adriana asked as the battle continued in front of her.

"We're VIPs and it's open in an hour anyway." The woman shrugged her shoulders before they legged it for the nightclub.

"I don't see anyone else, we should be safe to continue the…." Adriana's thoughts trailed off before the portal opened again. "Oh great, what now? Sabre Tooth? Loki? The Wrecking Crew?"

"We'll find out in a second." Claudia nodded as a single figure emerged from the portal, when the twins saw who it was however, they face-palmed. "You have got to be kidding me."

"I say, where the devil am I." The man commented as he stepped forward, to anyone else he looked like he had stepped out of the late 1800s in terms of fashion sense and he was carrying an umbrella and riding an oversized two person bicycle with a manakin on the back. "I was only my way to New York to test my newest time horn when…." The man trailed off as he realised who was in front of him. "The…the….Juggernaut?!"

"Adriana, Claudia, do you know the guy who's about to soil his early twentieth century pants?!" Green Arrow asked once he got a good look at the man and Adriana shook her head in disbelief.

"This guy is such a joke that I thought he was a myth." Adriana admitted as she shook her head. "Meet Clifford F. Michaels, AKA Turner D. Century, I would say that he's a Supervillain from our home dimension but that would be insulting to The Juggernaut here! He's obsessed with the ideals of turn of the century America, hence the name and yes, the pun is terrible, and has a flamethrower umbrella as his main weapon alongside that bicycle that can fly."

"…...no, really, who is this guy?!" Green Arrow asked with a look of disbelief on his face and the twins shook their heads. "Good god, your actually serious? Should I just feed him to the Punisher now and save us the trouble?"

"The Punisher's here as well?!" Turner D. Century gulped in response and Claudia sighed.

"Or we can just focus on taking out the real threat?" Claudia asked as she shook her head. "Besides, this guy seems to have a talent for coming back from the dead, he was gunned down by the original Scourge of the Underworld organization back in the 80s."

"I'll take your word for it, but you girls just lost the right to make fun of some of our dimension's lesser known Supervillains!" Green Arrow deadpanned before he focused fire on The Juggernaut, and Adriana shook her head.

"As long as there's a file for a guy calling himself Kite-Man in the Justice League's database, I'll never stop making fun of it." Adriana responded before glancing over at Turner D. Century. "He may be a joke, a racist, a sexist and have one of the ugliest costumes I've ever seen but Turner D. Century is still in harm's way as long as he's down there and as much as it pains me to do it, I can't leave him there." Adriana sighed before she flew over to Turner D. Century and grabbed him before flying off.

"Let me go, you damn Beaner!" Turner D. Century objected, and Adriana did so once he was above solid ground, namely atop the nightclub the women were hiding in, once that was done, she went back to retrieve his bike. "I hope you and your sister gets deported for this…..." Turner added only to get a swift boot to the nuts from Adriana cutting him off mid-sentence.

"Call me that again and I'll personally throw you into the path of one of The Juggernaut's fists!" Adriana warned him and Turner D. Century quickly shut up. "Besides, would you rather be up here and out of The Juggernaut's range or down there and right behind someone who will likely fold you up and turn you in the world's ugliest basketball?"

"You raise an excellent point." Turner D. Century admitted begrudgingly as he clutched his nuts in pain. "Where am I anyway?"

"To make a long story short, you are not in our home dimension." Adriana responded before pausing. "Don't you normally operate in San Francisco? Why were you on your way to New York?"

"Because San Francisco is becoming to corrupt, New York was a fresh start." Turner D. Century spat as he glared at the Mexican Superhero. "And you were to be one of my first targets, damn illegals."

"First off, whilst me and El Sombre were born in Mexico City, we came over here legally with our parents." Adriana responded as she glared at the villain. "Second, corrupt? Do you mean that they aren't all racist, sexist pricks?" Adriana added before flying off to re-join the battle.

"You think he's safe up there?!" The Juggernaut bellowed as The Punisher continued to provide support. "I am The Juggernaut, I am unstoppable, I…..."

"For the love of god, shut up already!" Black Canary interrupted him before she let lose the sonic scream, this seemed to be the first attack to seriously damage The Juggernaut as he was forced to take several steps back and eventually his helmet went flying off. "Okay, the helmet's off, now what?"

"J'onn's probably our best bet, problem is, he's on monitor duty." Green Arrow responded as he kept his arrow trained on The Juggernaut, however before The Juggernaut could make another move the portal opened again. "I'd make a joke about it being another guy like Turner D. Century but at this point we could use all the help we can get."

"We'll know in a second." Claudia responded before the figure started to become clear, once she saw who it was Claudia breathed a massive sigh of relief. "We're in luck, that's one of the most powerful psychics from our home dimension."

"Finally, some good news." Green Arrow responded before rolling out of the way of one of The Juggernaut's fist. "Your luck just ran out big guy because now, we have what we need to defeat you on our side!" Green Arrow said excitedly before glancing over, and all the excitement quickly left his body. "An old man, in a wheelchair, you have got to be kidding me."

"I'm afraid not, young man, I am Professor X and as El Sombre just said, I am what you need to bring down The Juggernaut." Professor X responded before putting a hand to his forehead, The Juggernaut span around when he heard the professor's voice but by then it was too late as the professor's psychic attack knocked him out cold. "I recommend that you incarcerate him immediately, my step-brother is too powerful to risk him escaping."

"Step-brother? You know what? I'm not even going to ask." Green Arrow responded before Turner D. Century lowered himself down on his bike and The Punisher emerged from the building. "What happened to Turner?"

"I got him to safety up there, left him his bike to help himself down." Adriana responded with a shrug as she frowned. "Had to put up with some racist bullshit but he quickly shut up after I pointed out the alternative, and I kicked him in the balls."

"Yes, and now you will pay!" Turner D. Century responded as he pointed his flamethrower umbrella at the heroes. "I don't care what dimension I'm in, I will purge the world of the riff-raff that is poisoning my beautiful country…"

"I'm beginning to see why you were murdered in the first place." Green Arrow deadpanned before he let lost with a boxing glove arrow hitting Turner D. Century in the jaw, the impact was enough to not only knock him out cold but knock him off his bike as well. "You said you were going to check on those women you saved right?"

"Right." Adriana nodded before she flew off in the direction of the nightclub.

"And as for you Punisher." Green Arrow added as he turned to the vigilante who quickly holstered his gun.

"A deal's a deal, besides Turner D. Century was never considered a serious threat." The Punisher responded before he walked off. "Besides, I work better alone." The Punisher added before walking off.

"We'd better have the League keep an eye on him." Black Canary commented as she glanced over at the Punisher's previous location. "We can't have him murdering criminals left and right."

"Agreed." Green Arrow nodded before the police arrived.

*meanwhile with Adriana*

Adriana reached the nightclub and looked around, now that she had a better look at it, Adriana realised that it looked like any other nightclub before she knocked on the door and the bouncer opened the door.

"Sorry, VIPs are only allowed in at this time." The bouncer commented before he realised who he was talking too. "Oh, you're the Superhero that saved Rachel and her group? She said to let you in."

"I won't be able to stick around for long, got League business to attend to." Adriana admitted with a shrug. "I just want to make sure that they are all right."

"I gotcha, I don't think they'll keep you that long." The bouncer nodded in understanding before letting Adriana in, the building was larger than it appeared on the outside as it had two floors, a bar and a dancefloor with a DJ Booth set up at the end. "Welcome to Club 95, the city's best known gay nightclub."

"Looks nice." Adriana commented before the last two words processed through her head. "Did you say gay nightclub?"

"What? You didn't know?" The bouncer asked and Adriana shook her head. "Well, regardless, Rachel and her group are upstairs in the VIP lounge."

"Thanks." Adriana nodded before flying up to the VIP lounge, sure enough four of the five women were being intimate with each other, one couple was just openly flirting whilst the other couple was making out on the sofa leaving the red-head drinking alone. "Err, hi." Adriana greeted them and the red-head looked up. "Cost is clear, should be okay for you guys to leave tonight."

"That's a relief." The red-head responded with a grin before inviting Adriana to join them, she hesitated before sitting down next to her. "I heard you talking with the bouncer, you didn't know this was a gay nightclub?"

"No, hell I barely know this city." Adriana responded as she shook her head. "I take it your Rachel?"

"Rachel Lyndon, at your service." Rachel introduced herself with a nod before looking at Adriana's mask. "How about we get your mask off and stay awhile longer? I promise that I'll be good company!"

"I don't know, I have to get back to the League." Adriana admitted as Rachel got closer to her. "And I literally just met you."

"Come on, in this place? There are no secrets and trust me babe, I wouldn't be hanging out with them if they weren't good company." Rachel assured her and Adriana hesitated before removing her mask. "Wow, your actually kinda hot."

"Thanks, I guess." Adriana responded with a nervous laugh as she blushed slightly. "Look, I don't have anything against gay people, I'm just not comfortable with you being that close to me."

"Fair enough." Rachel nodded in understanding before backing away from her. "But again, thanks for saving us back there."

"Hey, what are heroes for right?" Adriana admitted as she glanced around the nightclub. "You guys are regulars, here right?" Adriana asked and Rachel nodded. "Not counting VIP, how busy does this place get?"

"Depends on the night, some nights it can get crowded, other nights? It's pretty quiet." Rachel shrugged her shoulders in response and Adriana nodded. "Tonight, is usually one of the busier nights, though considering the battle that just happened? I'll be surprised if anyone else comes out, no pun intended."

"Yeah, I was just thinking that." Adriana nodded in understanding as she glanced around. "Just never thought I'd spend this much time in a place like this, I've never even had a boyfriend, much less a girlfriend." Adriana added before Rachel inched closer. "My parents were against me and my sister dating before we were eighteen, but even now I'm hesitant to start dating."

"That can always change, right?" Rachel asked as she leaned in closer. "I saw the way you were checking me out earlier Lo Divino, if that is your real name."

"No, it's Adriana Alvarez and as for me checking you out…." Adriana trailed off before she realised how close she was to Rachel's face, without thinking she leaned in to kiss the other woman when…

"Lo Divino, your needed up on the Watchtower." J'onn's voice rang out through her earpiece and Adriana sighed before putting her mask back on. "It's your turn on Monitor Duty."

"I'll be right up J'onn." Adriana responded before turning to Rachel. "Sorry, duty calls and all that." Adriana apologized to Rachel who shook her head.

"Don't worry about it, my dad's a cop, I understand completely." Rachel nodded in understanding before passing a card to her. "But if your interested in picking up where we left off Adriana, call me on this number."

"Maybe I will, enjoy your night." Adriana nodded before she left the nightclub, she went up to the roof and looked at the card. "What happened back there exactly?" Adriana wondered as she glanced towards the club. "I was this close from kissing another woman and I'm okay with it, am I gay?" Adriana thought before putting her hand to her earpiece. "Maybe a few hours on monitor duty will help clear my mind?" Adriana thought before glancing at the sky. "J'onn, I'm ready to be beamed up."

"Understood." J'onn nodded before beaming her up.

*next day, on the Watchtower*

The monitor duty went quickly for Adriana and it wasn't long (relatively speaking) before it was time for her to go home to the apartment she shared with Claudia, the following morning the twin sisters had wasted no time in beaming up to the Watchtower once they had gotten dressed as Claudia was on monitor duty and Adriana had been slated for training.

But that wasn't the only thing on Adriana's mind as she still had Rachel's number on her. "So much for monitor duty and sleeping on it clearing my head." Adriana thought as she glanced at the number, she had been debating whether she should add it to her contacts since she got home yesterday but she was worried about Claudia finding it. "Well, if training with Green Arrow and Black Canary doesn't clear my mind then maybe I should go to J'onn for a literal mind clear." Adriana thought with a sigh before pocketing the card.

"Morning Addy." Adriana looked up and saw Pierre approaching her with a tray of food in his hands. "Mind if I join you?"

"Go ahead." Adriana shrugged her shoulders and Pierre sat down opposite her. "Any news on the search for refugees?"

"None yet, then again most of the League is still beaming up." Pierre responded as he shook his head. "Why don't you ask Claudia? Isn't she on monitor duty today?"

"Same reason as why there hasn't been any news yet." Adriana responded as she shrugged her shoulders. "We literally just beamed up, I'm slated for training with Green Arrow and Black Canary, so I won't see much action outside of the Watchtower today and as you said, Claudia's on monitor duty."

"Fair enough." Pierre shrugged as he started eating his breakfast. "You're not hungry?" Pierre asked when he saw that the Mexican girl had no food in front of her and Adriana shook her head.

"I got up early this morning, so I figured "screw it" and fixed myself up some breakfast." Adriana responded as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. "It's been a while since I last had to do a cooking intervention like we did for Kat and Marco, but I still remember my mom's recipes and she did teach me and Claudia all we know about cooking."

"Is that why Travis nearly set off the smoke alarm the last time you cooked him something?" Pierre asked with a raised eyebrow and Adriana shook her head with a laugh.

"Hey, in my defence, I was trying to please everyone at that cookout with the level of heat in those tacos, not my fault I put in a bit too much Scotch Bonnet." Adriana joked before pausing. "Okay, maybe it is my fault, but I still won that cookoff!"

"Mostly because Kat overcooked her food whilst trying to use her fire breath as a shortcut to get around raw chicken, Marco's attempt at a desert ended up on the floor and the less said about my attempt at Macarons, the better." Pierre pointed out and Adriana chuckled as she thought back to that day. "Seriously though, Claudia noticed that you seemed stressed out this morning and asked me to check on you."

"Because she's busy with monitor duty, right?" Adriana asked and Pierre nodded before Adriana thought for a bit. "Do I tell him the truth? That I'm beginning to think that I could be a lesbian? No, if I am a lesbian then the first person who I'm coming out too is Claudia." Adriana thought before shaking her head. "Tell her I'm fine, just reeling from the fight against The Juggernaut yesterday, not to mention dealing with Turner D. Century's bullshit."

"Ah yes, the man, the myth, the legend himself, albeit for all the wrong reasons." Pierre chuckled before shaking his head. "Me and Travis are still arguing over whose reaction to Turner D. Century was more epic, The Flash's or Booster Gold's."

"I thought they both nearly died of laughter after Claudia told them about Turner D. Century?" Adriana asked with a raised eyebrow and Pierre nodded.

"True but The Flash was laughing for a good minute after Booster Gold had doubled over and that's the deciding factor in my book." Pierre commented as he continued to eat his food. "And considering some of the guys in The Flash's Rouges Gallery, that's saying a lot!"

"I know, right? Mirror Master anyone?" Adriana responded with a laugh before the door to the cafeteria opened. "I still think our dimension has this dimension beat when it comes to ridiculous Super Villains, Paste Pot Pete anyone?"

"You know, if I hadn't met someone who unironically calls himself "Turner D. Century" yesterday I'd probably think that you were making Paste Pot Pete's name up." Green Arrow commented as he walked up to the younger heroes and they looked up. "Adriana, me and Black Canary are ready for you in the Holochamber."

"Good, I was getting bored in here anyway." Adriana admitted before she stood up. "Err, no offence Pierre."

"None taken." The Frenchmen shrugged his shoulders in response before Adriana left with Green Arrow.

"As good as the chat with Pierre was, if training with Green Arrow and Black Canary doesn't clear my head then I don't know what will." Adriana thought as she glanced over at Pierre, Green Arrow noticed this and chuckled. "Thought of a funny joke Green Arrow?" Adriana asked once she heard the older hero chuckle.

"No, not really, just an observation." Green Arrow responded as he shook his head before leading Adriana away. "Claudia mentioned that you were stressed out about something, I think I figured out what it is."

"You have?!" Adriana asked as she did a double take. "What? Does the whole League think I'm a lesbian because I live with my twin sister?" Adriana thought as she glanced up at Green Arrow. "Okay, I'll humour you, what do you think is the cause of my stress?"

"Isn't it obvious? You have a crush on Pierre, don't you?" Green Arrow asked and Adriana blushed like a madwoman. "And I think that blush just confirmed it!"

"No, it's not that!" Adriana asserted though she could tell that Green Arrow wasn't buying it for a second. "I mean, he's in his early twenties and I'm only eighteen, why would I have a crush on someone that smart, good looking and is such a nice guy and I'm not helping my case, am I?" Adriana realised and Green Arrow shook his head with a slight laugh. "Even with all that in mind, it's not because I have a crush on Pierre, which I don't by the way, I'm just worried about my parents, that's all."

"Don't worry, we'll find them." Green Arrow assured her, and Adriana grinned. "And as for Pierre, I doubt he'll say no to a date with a pretty girl like you if you asked him."

"Let's just get to the Holochamber before I die of embarrassment?" Adriana asked and Green Arrow nodded before leading her away.

*later*

It ended up being a rather uneventful day in the Watchtower and Professor X was helping the other heroes figure out what had gone wrong with the portal generator, however Adriana had other ideas.

"Training with Green Arrow and Black Canary helped me clear my mind all right." Adriana thought as she walked up the stairs of the apartment complex, once she had returned home from the Watchtower she had called Rachel asking if she was still interested in meeting up and Rachel had given an address to meet up for the night, as far as Claudia was concerned the younger of the twins had gone out on patrol which suited Adriana just fine. "Maybe I am gay, but I don't want to come forward with it yet, at least not until I spend the night with Rachel." Adriana thought before she stopped at the apartment number she had been given, after glancing around she knocked on the door.

The door opened and Rachel greeted her at the door, the two young women were dressed casually, and Rachel grinned when she saw Adriana. "I was beginning to wonder if you would take me up on the offer." Rachel stated as she let Adriana into her apartment, it was considerably smaller than the apartment Adriana shared with her twin sister, but it was still cosy enough and Adriana sat down on the couch. "Can I get you anything?"

"I'm fine thanks, I had dinner before I finished my shift with the League." Adriana called back as she made herself comfortable, Rachel sat down next to her and leaned back on the couch. "So, how long have you known?"

"That I was gay?" Rachel asked and Adriana nodded. "I've known for a couple of years, unfortunately my parents didn't approve and threw me out when I came out." Rachel added and Adriana bit her lip. "You?"

"After we almost kissed at that nightclub, I had some confusing thoughts going through my head, I needed to clear it out before I came over." Adriana admitted as she made herself comfy. "Once I did clear my head, I realised that I was gay and decided to take you up on the offer, it sounds weird now that I'm saying it out loud."

"Not really, some of the other girls in my group realised the same way you did." Rachel assured her, and Adriana nodded. "Have you told anyone?"

"No, I'm still wrapping my head around how to do it." Adriana admitted as she ran a hand through her hair. "First person I'm planning on coming out to is my twin sister Claudia, we argue a lot but we're still really close."

"Hey, what are sisters for right?" Rachel asked with a grin and Adriana nodded. "Is she older or younger?"

"Older, by about five minutes." Adriana responded with a nod before shifting her weight. "Until we find our parents, she's the only family member in my life so it made sense to me that I tell her first, even if we find our parents before then."

"I'm sure you'll find them, hopefully they'll take the news better than mine did." Rachel nodded in understanding and Adriana quickly agreed before Rachel leaned in closer. "So, do you prefer Addy or Adriana?"

"Either's fine but Addy's more of a pet name for me from my sister." Adriana responded before Rachel got in close. "You don't waste time, do you?"

"What can I say? Your hot and you're just discovering that your gay." Rachel responded with a grin which Adriana returned before removing her shoes and laying back on the couch. "Usually when I'm with a first timer, it's usually a one night stand." Rachel added as she got on top of Adriana. "But you? I'm beginning to think that there's something special between us."

"I'm beginning to think the same way." Adriana responded with a grin as Rachel got into kissing range."Just do me a favour and don't brag about banging a Superhero on Social Media?"

"Don't worry." Rachel responded before the two women shared a long, passionate kiss that didn't take long to escalate into a make out session. "I think my lips will be busy for the rest of the night, and I don't make a habit of bragging about stuff like this anyway." Rachel added before she resumed making out with Adriana and before long, the two women had sex for the first time.

And for Adriana, it wouldn't be her last time with a woman.

*elsewhere in the world*

Whilst that was going on the reformed Legion of Doom were having their first meeting, Target, Hellraiser and Shockwave were at the front alongside Lex leaving the rest of the villains awaiting the start of Lex's speech.

"One year ago, a foolish ape formed this group with the intention of turning everyone on the planet into his kind." Lex stated as he paced around the room. "That was his first mistake, his second mistake was inviting me to join because it allowed me to take over when that scheme failed and now, one year removed from that date, I have reformed the Legion of Doom, stronger and more formidable than ever before! Our goal? To bring down the Justice League!" Lex added as he clenched a fist.

"That's great and all Lex." Metallo growled as the cyborg pushed his way to the front. "But who are they? Why are they getting preferential treatment?"

"Target, Hellraiser and Shockwave are my lieutenants and they come from the same dimension as Silent Tempest, Dragon Girl, Mental Boy and Earthshaker." Lex responded before noticing the angry looks on Metallo's, Killer Croc's and Captain Boomerang's faces. "Don't worry, they have just as many reasons for wanting those punks dead as we do, the other guests from that dimension are here to make up for the numbers lost during the Civil War and subsequent invasion of Earth by Darkseid, believe me when I say that we are a force that cannot be stopped."

"You have all been outfitted with upgrades for your equipment and capabilities." Target added as he surveyed the group. "Use them wisely."

"Well put Target." Lex chuckled before turning to the group. "The old saying goes "united we stand, divided we fall", I refuse to let this Legion fall again! We are legion." Lex added with an evil glint in his eye. "For we are many."
