If Adriana thought that that she had a lot on her mind before she had sex with Rachel then that was nothing compared to her thoughts after they had finished on the couch, thankfully the thoughts that were going through the eighteen year old Mexican woman's mind were a lot more positive this time around.

"What a night." Adriana sighed as she started to wake up, the last she saw Rachel was right before she dozed off as the redhead had been spooning her but now, she was alone on the couch and completely naked. "Rachel?" Adriana called out but the sound of food being cooked clued her in.

"Morning Adriana." Rachel called out to her as Adriana yawned. "I could look at your naked body all day, but I know your sister will be looking for you, so I left your clothes and Lo Divino costume by the couch." Rachel added at which point Adriana found the clothes arranged into a neat little pile on the coffee table in front of the sofa. "I'd offer you some of my clothes, but I think that would make your sister suspicious."

"Good thinking." Adriana nodded before she sat up, however she paused upon realising that she could smell Rachel's perfume on her. "I'm guessing you've got a shower in here?"

"Oh yeah, you see the bedroom, right?" Rachel asked and once Adriana looked around, she nodded upon noticing the open bedroom door. "It's the door right next to it, hell I'd probably be tempted to join you if I wasn't cooking."

"Yeah, nothing spoils the mood like the apartment being on fire, wouldn't want to explain that to the landlord." Adriana deadpanned before she went straight to the shower, on the way she spotted Rachel preparing breakfast in the kitchen and looked her new girlfriend over, her red hair was in a tight ponytail and she was wearing a red crop top and ripped jeans and now that she had a better look, Adriana could see two things that were covered by Rachel's outfit the night before or that she missed due to being preoccupied once both women were down to their underwear, namely a tattoo on her right shoulder and a navel piercing, after a few seconds she looked up and grinned.

"True but I can at least admire the view." Rachel commented and Adriana rolled her eyes whilst giving her a cheeky grin before she headed into the shower.

"I've barely been in this dimension a week and I've turned gay, got myself a girlfriend and me and Claudia are staying in a much nicer place than back home." Adriana thought as she gave herself a thorough wash in the shower. "Definitely a step up from back home, if things do return to normal maybe I'll just stay home, as in, this dimension." Adriana thought and before long she was finished in the shower and drying her hair in front of the mirror. "Aside from the incident with Turner D. Century yesterday, I haven't encountered any of the bullshit I put up with back home for being a mutant, then again now I'm a Lesbian Latina Mutant so that's three times as much prejudice right there."

"Breakfast should be about ten minutes Adriana." Rachel called out to her and Adriana grinned before she finished drying and brushing her hair and returned to the couch where she started putting her underwear on, once her bra was on, she grabbed her day clothes and started putting them on.

"So, two questions, how are you keeping hair that long in a ponytail and what's for breakfast?" Adriana called out and Rachel looked up from the kitchen.

"All I'm saying to that first question is practice makes perfect." Rachel responded as she continued to cook away. "As for Breakfast, I'm keeping it simple, maple bacon with pancakes." Rachel responded and Adriana grinned. "Oh, I guess I should've asked if you were vegan or a vegetarian first."

"To be fair, you had enough time to find my clothes and get dressed by the time I woke up." Adriana pointed out as she shook her head before putting her jeans and tank top on. "And no, I'm a meat eater, Claudia on the other hand went vegan last year and has been trying to convert me ever since."

"Fair enough, I know there's a few ways you can make veg the star of the show so to speak." Rachel nodded in understanding as she continued to fry up the bacon. "Do you cook?"

"Si, mostly Mexican dishes due to my heritage but I'm willing to try anything once." Adriana responded with a nod as she glanced around the room. "Including having sex with another woman I guess but you were my first time last night if I'm being honest."

"With another woman or in general?" Rachel asked as she poked her head out of the kitchen.

"In general, like I said back at the club, my dad doesn't want me or Claudia rushing into a relationship whilst we are in our teens." Adriana admitted as she finished brushing her hair. "Then again, that's the least of my problems."

"Your dad's a religious guy?" Rachel asked and Adriana nodded.

"Si, he's Catholic like most of Mexico, I haven't asked him what his thoughts on gay people are, but the religion doesn't exactly take a light view on homosexuality." Adriana added as she took a deep breath. "Me and Claudia are Polytheist on the other hand, it became a bit silly to only believe in one god after meeting so many literal gods since we became Superheroes."

"Yeah, I guess that's fair, I'm atheist myself." Rachel nodded in understanding once she got the idea, after a few minutes Rachel emerged from the kitchen with two plates of food in her hand and handed one to Adriana.

"Can I ask you something Rachel? Just to clear something up about last night." Adriana asked and Rachel nodded. "When you said that you thought that was something special between us, are you sure it wasn't alcohol talking?"

"I didn't have that much to drink last night in fact, I do most of my drinking at Club 95." Rachel responded as she shook her head. "Besides, I couldn't go back there even if I wanted too, Club 95's Facebook page said that it's closed for the rest of the week whilst the repairs are being done outside."

"From the battle with The Juggernaut?" Adriana asked and Rachel nodded. "The outside didn't look that damaged from where I entered but I guess it's more concern over the condition the road was left in."

"Pretty much, fortunately there are other gay nightclubs in the city, maybe when you come out of the closet, I'll take you on a mini tour." Rachel offered and Adriana nodded to indicate that she liked the idea. "How's the food anyway?"

"I'm used to eating food with a bit more of a kick but it's nice." Adriana admitted as she ate her breakfast. "Who taught you how to cook?"

"Mostly self-taught, I had to learn how to cook after my parents threw me out." Rachel admitted and Adriana winced. "You?"

"Me and Claudia got most of our recipes and cooking lessons from my mom, she used to be a chef before she gave up that career to raise us, so we were in good hands." Adriana admitted before sighing. "All the more reason to find her and my dad."

"You'll find them, don't worry, and if they do disown you, well you have a choice between my shoulder or your sisters to try into." Rachel assured her and Adriana grinned in response. "Look Addy, I understand that you are still wrapping your head around your new found lesbian status, believe me, I was the same way, so if you don't want to rush into a relationship with me, that's perfectly fine." Rachel added as they ate their breakfast and Adriana shook her head.

"I had some time to think it over whilst you were preparing breakfast." Adriana stated as she ate her food. "Just so we're clear, I want to come out as gay when I'm ready, so hold off on updating your relationship status on Facebook for now please."

"Don't worry, I'll only do that when you do come out of the closet." Rachel assured her as she finished her breakfast. "And as for rushing into things?"

"Let's be honest, we kinda flew over that line when we had sex, didn't we?" Adriana pointed out and Rachel laughed before nodding in agreement. "Again, until I'm comfortable enough to go public with the fact that I'm gay and in a relationship with another woman, we're going to have to date in secret, otherwise? I'm comfortable with how things are going right now, even if we did jump into the deep end last night." Adriana added before clutching her neck in pain and Rachel gave her new girlfriend a concerned look. "Just an idea but maybe next time we do the deed, we do it in your bed? I think leaning my head against the arm rest whilst you were on top of me gave me some neck cramps."

"Sorry, I should've thought about that, especially since I was on a flat surface whilst you were on top." Rachel apologized before shaking her head with a laugh. "Shouldn't be that hard for you to work through anyway."

"True." Adriana nodded before finishing her food, once she had wiped her mouth, she looked around checking the time on her iPhone once she had located it. "You were a VIP at the club, yet your place is so small?"

"Part of it is the fact that I'm friends with the guy who runs Club 95, met him before I came out of the closet." Rachel admitted as she gathered up the plates. "But as for how I make my living, I'm a model, mostly fitness and beauty but I do have an OnlyFans account."

"Yeah, I've heard of it, I understand that it's mostly used by sex workers." Adriana responded with a raised eyebrow and Rachel nodded.

"Before you ask, I haven't done anything to explicit, mostly sending nudes to fans who pay enough and the occasional show with one or more of my group of friends." Rachel responded before noticing the look on Adriana's face. "Don't worry, I didn't tape us having sex last night and even if I did, I would've asked you if you were okay with me posting it first, and given that you aren't out of the closet yet I think the answer to that is pretty obvious."

"About as obvious as it can get." Adriana nodded in response before thinking for a bit. "And no offence but I'd rather not star in one of those vids even after I come out as gay, if my parents don't approve of my Lesbian Status, how do you think they'll take me basically staring in a porn vid?"

"That's fair, not the first time someone told me that." Rachel nodded in understanding before Adriana thought for a bit.

"You mentioned you're a model, how often do you get work?" Adriana asked out of curiosity and Rachel shrugged.

"Depends on my agent but I am doing a photo shoot for a fairly big clothing line later." Rachel responded with a slight grin on her face. "Women's clothing obviously but it pays well, and I get an excuse to check out other female models so it's not all that bad." Rachel added and Adriana nodded. "You were lucky last night as I didn't have any shoots at all yesterday but in the future, I'll have to call you and let you know when I'm free."

"That's fair, and I hope it goes well." Adriana nodded before pausing. "And maybe send me any underwear pics?" Adriana asked half-jokingly and Rachel laughed before Adriana stood up. "Anyway, I had better get going before Claudia wakes up, look forward to the next time though." Adriana said as she grabbed her costume and Rachel nodded.

"Likewise." Rachel grinned in response as Adriana grabbed the rest of her things and got ready to leave, however before she left Rachel walked up to Adriana. "Just one thing, you missed a spot right here…..." Rachel trailed off before kissing Adriana passionately, Adriana wasted no time in returning the kiss but they broke it off before it went further than a little over the clothes action. "Just a little preview for next time."

"If I didn't have to get to the Watchtower, I'd stick around a bit longer." Adriana admitted with a coy grin before leaving Rachel's apartment. "Hopefully, I can get home before Claudia wakes up, I told her that I was doing an all nighter for the League and well, it's not like I was wrong on the all-nighter part." Adriana thought before she jogged down the stairs.

*later, on the Watchtower*

Adriana had returned home just in time as Claudia was in the middle of getting dressed by the time the younger of the two sisters returned home and after getting changed into her costume (and telling Claudia that she had grabbed breakfast at an all night diner on the way home) they were beamed up to the Watchtower for their assignment today.

Which basically meant more training with Green Arrow and Black Canary, albeit this time Adriana had Claudia by her side. "Okay, we went over this with Adriana yesterday, so this is more for Claudia's benefit than anything else." Green Arrow stated as Black Canary operated the holograms. "Much like Kat's training with Wonder Woman and Shayera, this is all about endurance, to see how long you two can last against a constant wave of enemies."

"I know this already, Adriana mentioned it to me when we got off shift yesterday." Claudia responded as she cracked her fingers cockily. "She also mentioned lasting nearly forty minutes yesterday, I aim to not only beat that time but double it."

"In your dreams sis!" Adriana responded as she glanced over at her older sister. "Just for that I'm doing to double your time."

"And I can already see where this is going." Black Canary sighed as she shook her head. "Girls, healthy competition is good and all but if you keep that up, we'll be here for the next several days! Maybe instead of trying to outdo one another, you can try to focus on just doing your best?"

"Fine, but I'll still beat Addy's score." Claudia responded with a laugh causing her younger sister to stick her tongue out playfully at her. "So, what? Do we have to fight you guys at the end like Shayera fought Kat?"

"You both have powers that involve shooting beams of light at your enemies, among other things, me and Green Arrow?" Black Canary responded as she shook her head. "Arrow's, well, arrows will only last him so long and my sonic scream is something I can only use on opponents that can take it, neither of you have proven that you have the endurance to tank that scream and I'm not about to put your health at risk by testing that theory."

"So, I take it that's a no?" Adriana asked and the two older heroes nodded. "Good thing too, considering that I literally just got a girlfriend!" Adriana thought before she and her sister got into fighting stances. "We're ready when you are!"

"Start them off with something easy Ollie." Black Canary instructed her boyfriend as she stepped away from the mic. "Or do I need to remind you that most of Adriana's forty minutes was spent defeating the first wave?"

"You were the one that suggested starting her with Killer Croc and Bane." Green Arrow reminded her, and Black Canary shook her head in response. "At least she didn't try to have to have a conversation in Spanish with the hologram."

"I heard that!" Adriana complained as Claudia gave her sister a teasing look. "¡Por el amor de Dios! ¡Trato de convencer a un villano que habla español una vez y toda la Liga todavía no me ha dejado olvidarlo!" Adriana muttered under her breath apparently forgetting that her older sister was in earshot.

"Adriana, te agradezco que no quieras decir palabrotas frente a nuestros mayores, sino que intentes ceñirte al inglés." Claudia reminded her younger sister in Spanish and Adriana laughed nervously in response. "Not that I can blame her for being frustrated over that but there are only a handful of Spanish speakers in the league, us included." Claudia thought before the first villains were loaded in. "¡Tienes que estar bromeando!"

"She just said "you have got to be kidding me!"." Adriana translated for the older heroes before looking at the villains in front of them, it was a mix of some villains from their dimension and the dimension that they were currently calling their home, if you could call them that. "But I must agree with Claudia, Stilt-Man? Kite Man? The original Ani-Men? The Wringler? The Cluemaster? The Ten-Eyed Man?! I thought this was supposed to be a challenge?"

"You know we could just start you girls with Justice Lord Superman if you want?" Green Arrow offered and the Mexican twins shared a look. "You know, the guy who German Suplexed Dragon Girl through a building? You girls are tough, but I don't think your tough enough to survive that."

"We'll pass, thanks." Claudia quickly decided and Adriana readily nodded in agreement. "Besides, this will get tougher as more time passes."

"Right!" Adriana nodded as she got the idea. "We're ready when you are."

"Starting now." Black Canary chimed in and the twin heroines flew into battle simultaneously whilst the villains charged forward. "I know Cap let us use the Avengers' files for simulations but still, the guys from their dimension are legit right?"

"I double checked with the others from their dimension who are League members." Green Arrow responded as the Mexican twins easily fought off the so-called villains. "What surprised me was that Stilt-Man was killed a few years back and got a legacy character who called herself Lady Stilt-Man!"

"Your kidding?!" Black Canary asked with an amused look on her face. "Why didn't you use her?"

"Not enough combat data, mostly due to the fact that she was one of the villains killed by Target." Green Arrow responded before a loud crash accompanied by Adriana yelling "TIMBER!" rang out as she knocked out Stilt-Man's hologram causing him to crash into a building. "Lo Divino, I appreciate the enthusiasm but need I remind you that, in a real city, you would've risked civilians' lives by doing that, right?"

"Crap, sorry!" Adriana gulped before she was set upon by the Ani-Men.

"Then again, I doubt we'll find anyone as tall as Stilt-Man in real combat." Black Canary pointed out as the twins easily fought off several villains. "Giganta? Maybe but last I checked she was still in jail."

"Like that ever stopped any Supervillain." Green Arrow responded as he shook his head. "Do you think we should up the difficulty yet?"

"I'm not sure." Black Canary responded before Adriana took out the Ani-Men on her own with several energy blasts, Claudia soon followed suit as she took out the remaining villains. "I think you made it too easy for them, up the difficulty and actually try to give them a challenge."

"First you complained about me making it too hard and now you complain about me making it too easy, I can't win, honestly!" Green Arrow complained in jest as the twin sisters shared a quick fist-bump. "You ready for a break yet? I think I see some sweat forming on your brows!"

"You're kidding, right? I could've beaten those villains in my sleep!" Adriana responded cockily as she cracked her fingers and Claudia nodded in agreement before Adriana paused. "How about we not put my bragging to the test?"

"Yeah, we'll save that for when you start sleep-crime fighting." Green Arrow responded jokingly getting a laugh out of the Mexican twins. "Cranking up the difficulty now, this should be a bit more difficult."

"Oh please, a new born puppy would've put up a better fight than those guys!" Claudia responded cockily as the holograms loaded in, once they did, any trace of their arrogance quickly faded. "Metallo, Killer Croc, Bane, Mr. Hyde, Avalanche and The Grim Reaper?"

"Hey, you wanted a challenge!" Green Arrow pointed out as the six holograms got ready for battle. "Oh, and Lo Divino? Don't bother trying to have a conversation with Bane."

"Don't bother trying to have a conversation with Bane." Adriana repeating in a mocking voice as she rolled her eyes before focussing on the task at hand. "Ready when you are." Adriana called out to the heroes before quickly glancing over at Claudia. "Claudia, podría ser una buena idea enfocar el fuego en Bane, una vez que saquemos sus tubos, ¡estará fuera del juego!" Adriana whispered to her sister in Spanish and Claudia nodded.

"Sí, estaba pensando lo mismo, dicho esto, deberíamos vigilar de cerca a los demás, ¡hay muchos bateadores pesados en esta ola!" Claudia whispered back at which point Green Arrow chimed in.

"Ladies, you realize the microphones are picking up your planning session, right?" Green Arrow pointed out and the Mexican twins winced. "Fortunately for you, I don't speak Spanish, otherwise I'd be tempted to up the difficulty."

"And I would put it through Google Translate for him, if we could get a wi-fi signal up here." Black Canary chimed in and the twins nodded. "Good luck, you'll need it."

"¿Qué tal si no presionamos nuestra suerte?" Claudia whispered to Adriana as she glanced over at her sister. "Al menos alguien que hable español entra."

"¡Sí, gran idea!" Adriana nodded in agreement before they flew into battle and despite being caught, they stuck to their plan of focusing on Bane first.

"I don't speak Spanish, but I'd bet good money that this was their plan." Green Arrow nodded as he watched the action. "And to be fair, it's not a bad strategy."

"Yeah, I'd probably focus on Bane first if I were in their shoes." Black Canary nodded in agreement as the girls worked together to knock off Bane's tubes whilst dodging blows from the other villains. "Almost enough to make me up the difficulty."

"Don't, strategy's a huge part of their test and the fact that they are forming one rather than play it by ear does show that they are learning." Green Arrow responded as he shook his head before Bane was taken down. "Congrats on focussing all your energy on one guy, but here come the others."

"Bring it." The Mexican Twins responded simultaneously as they stood back to back surrounded by the remaining villains, they share a grin once they realised that they were back to back before Claudia made the first move heading right towards the villains from her home dimension whilst Adriana dealt with the remaining villains from this dimension.

"How are they doing?" Superman's voice rang out and Black Canary and Green Arrow looked up before seeing the founding member of the Justice League having entered the room.

"So far, the only black mark against them is Adriana defeating one of the starter villains in a way that would've led to several severely injured civilians at best." Green Arrow responded as they watched the twins do battle. "Aside from that? They are proving to be every bit the great student that the others from their home dimension are."

"Glad to hear it but you might want to cut it short." Superman responded earning curious looks from the other two heroes. "I have some news for them that they'll be relieved to hear."

"Okay, only Metallo and Killer Croc are left, one of Superman's toughest enemies and a villain tough enough to take a Spin Dash from Kat." Adriana thought as she stared down the two villains. "No problem, I dealt with these guys easily yesterday!" Adriana thought as she flew towards the villains, however just as Adriana was ready to put down Metallo by blasting out the Kryptonite from his chest she got distracted for a second. "I hope my parents are alright, but I'm more concerned with how they'll react to me starting a relationship with another woman…" Adriana's train of thought was interrupted by a blast from Metallo sending her careening into a nearby building and taking her out of the action.

"Addy!" Claudia called out to her sister upon seeing the impact, but she let her guard down at exactly the wrong time as she was sent flying by a punch from Mr. Hyde before he and the other remaining villains ganged up on her.

Fortunately for her, Claudia was saved from the impending pummelling by the session ending. "Damn it! I just know that was nowhere near my time from yesterday!" Adriana cussed as she emerged from the building's hologram.

"So much for doubling your time, huh?" Claudia asked rhetorically and Adriana nodded reluctantly. "We still made good time, right?"

"Just over fifteen minutes." Green Arrow chimed in as he glanced at the clock. "For comparison, Adriana soloed this yesterday in fourteen minutes, then again we used fewer villains against her."

"Didn't even beat my start time." Adriana grunted in annoyance as she folded her arms. "But I'm ready for round two." Adriana added and Claudia nodded in agreement.

"There won't be a round two." Superman interjected catching the twin sisters off guard. "You girls have made great progress, but I have some big news for you, your parents have been located."

"Seriously?!" Adriana gasped in excitement before she and Claudia shared a huge grin. "Where are they?"

"They were found in Mexico City appropriately enough and they should be up here soon." Superman responded and the twins could only share a huge hug at the news. "I need to go over your post-training assessment with Green Arrow and Black Canary, but they agreed to meet you two in the cafeteria."

"Don't need to tell me twice!" Claudia responded with a huge grin on her face before the twins left the holochamber.

"Make that two black marks." Green Arrow sighed as he went over his notes. "Adriana must've thought that her hesitation went unnoticed but if this was a real life fight, they'd both be dead."

"It's not like her to get distracted like that." Black Canary nodded in agreement as she read Green Arrow's notes. "Something must be weighing heavily on her mind."

"She was likely worried about her parents, knowing how cocky they can be she probably used that as a smokescreen." Superman responded as he shook his head. "I'll supervise a solo session for Adriana tomorrow, see if she performs better now that they've been found."

"I bet the all-nighter Claudia mentioned had something to do with it." Green Arrow commented earning a confused look from Superman. "Claudia said that Adriana was on an all-night assignment last night and didn't return until the early hours of the morning."

"I never gave Adriana such an assignment, and I doubt the other senor members of the league did either." Superman responded with a raised eyebrow and the other heroes shared a look. "There isn't a situation in Star City that requires an all-night assignment."

"Now I'm really starting to get worried." Green Arrow grunted as he folded his arms. "Adriana is many things, cocky, sometimes arrogant, a jokester, but she isn't the type of person to lie about a League Assignment."

"On the other hand, the twins are eighteen, they don't have the years of experience we do." Black Canary responded before her frown deepened. "This has been a stressful situation for both of them but Adriana's the youngest of the twins, do you think she's turning to certain vices as a coping mechanism?"

"Canary, I have a former sidekick who is a recovering drug addict, there's no point in sugar coating it with me." Green Arrow pointed out as his frown deepened. "And frankly, I don't like what your implying, underneath all her arrogance, Adriana is a good kid and she personally told me that she's never even thought about taking drugs."

"A good kid who just spent the last several days worrying about where her parents might have ended up thanks to that generator." Black Canary responded as she turned to the others. "I don't like what I'm implying either and if it is just a one off event, I'll let it slide, however if it starts happening on a consistent basis then we can start to worry."

"If she has turned to hard drugs, then we can't have her on the active roster." Superman nodded grimly as he walked away. "Even pending drug test results, she'd be removed from the roster as she would be considered a danger to herself and others, let's hope that it doesn't get to that point."

"I'll see if I can get some one on one time with Claudia, see what she makes of her sister lying about this." Green Arrow nodded as he went to leave the holochamber. "Once they've reunited with their parents off course, no need to put a damper on that happy reunion."

"Good point." Superman nodded in agreement before the two men left the room.

*later*

By now Adriana and Claudia had gotten changed out of their Superhero costumes and into their day clothes as J'onn had granted them the rest of the day off to spend time with their parents, whilst Adriana had grabbed a different set of clothes to the outfit she wore to her night alone with Rachel (namely a white sleeveless top that left some of her midriff exposed, jean shorts and boots) it still reflected the fact that she tended to wear brighter colours than her sister as Claudia was wearing mostly black in the form of a black, off the shoulder top, dark blue jeans and boots, the other difference being that Claudia had her hair up in a ponytail.

"Addy, you're not feeling sore over how that session ended, right?" Claudia asked and Adriana glanced up at her older sister as she took a sip of her drink. "I don't want you in a bad mood for when mom and dad arrive."

"I'm fine sis, just got a bruised ego, that's all." Adriana assured her once she had put her cup down. "I let my guard down for a second and it cost us the session, I won't let it happen again."

"I hope not, because I don't think we would've survived if that was a real fight." Claudia pointed out and Adriana shuddered before nodding in agreement. "Still, as cocky as you can get, it's not like you to lose focus during a fight."

"Me, cocky? You were the one who bragged about doubling my time!" Adriana pointed out with a scoff and Claudia had to admit that her sister had a point. "Besides, I know how good I am, if you ask me, that so called "cockiness" is well earned."

"Says the woman who almost got killed because she tried to talk sense into a Supervillain." Claudia pointed out and Adriana went to respond but couldn't find the words. "I jest off course, we started our superhero careers at the same time and before we jumped over? We had gained a sizeable fan-base, especially in Latin communities."

"Let's be honest, the fact that we're two of the most prominent Mexican Superheroes operating in the states probably has a lot to do with that." Adriana pointed out and Claudia nodded in agreement. "And we are building a similar fanbase over here."

"It'll take time for our fanbase here to match the fanbase back home, but it's growing." Claudia responded with a nod before she took a sip from her drink. "By the way, what exactly did you do on that all-nighter shift last night?" Claudia asked and whilst Adriana remained calm on the outside, on the inside was a different story.

"¡Mierda! No pensé en eso, ¡será mejor que se te ocurra algo rápido!" Adriana cussed herself mentally in Spanish before thinking for a minute. "Just some gangster activity that Green Arrow alerted me too, he was too busy dealing with his own stuff to help."

"That's it?" Claudia asked with a raised eyebrow and Adriana nodded. "Why didn't he contact me to help you out? He knows that we're rarely worked separately since donning the costumes for the first time, right?"

"I really should've put more thought into this lie!" Adriana thought as she bit her lip. "He knew that it was something I could handle alone, I wasn't down there beating up bad guys, I was just scoping out their operations for Green Arrow to bust up later."

"Uh-huh." Claudia responded in a tone that told Adriana that she was unconvinced. "So, who was it that Green Arrow asked you to spy on? Star City isn't as mafia heavy as say, Gotham City but it's still got it's fair share of mob bosses."

"I don't know, I forgot before the end of the night." Adriana responded and whilst Claudia said nothing, her facial expression said it all, she wasn't buying it. "And the award for worst liar in the Justice League goes too…...Adriana Alverez for trying to cover up the fact that she recently discovered that she was gay! God, I could really use a tension breaker right now!" Adriana thought before the door to the cafeteria opened.

"Adriana, Claudia!" The two girls looked up almost immediately when they heard the all too familiar voice of their mom and sure enough their parents came into the room, the two girls wasted no time in embracing their parents with Adriana tightly hugging her much larger father and Claudia sharing a quick but tight hug with her mother and it was easy to see that the twins had gotten their good looks from their mom as she looked like the splitting image of her daughters, albeit older and sans the white streaks in Adriana's hair. "I'm so happy to see you again."

"Likewise, dad." Adriana responded as the parents broke the hugs with their daughters. "We have a lot of catching up to do, thankfully the League's given us the day off for just that."

"Excellent! I hope you girls know a good Mexican restaurant in Star City." Their mother responded and the twins nodded having found a few over the past few days. "And I hope you've found the time to find boyfriends."

"Mom, seriously, we've only been here a few days." Claudia laughed in response taking the attention away from the younger of the two twins, which Adriana was thankful for as it allowed her to hide how uncomfortable the line of questioning was making her. "Our relationship status is still the same as it was before we jumped over, single and looking for boyfriends, right Addy?"

"Huh? Oh yeah, still single." Adriana responded with a nervous laugh as she rubbed the back of her head. "We're just waiting for Mr. Right to come along."

"I'm sure he'll come soon." Their father assured his daughters and Claudia nodded whilst Adriana breathed a sigh of relief once she was sure that no one was looking. "As breath-taking as the view is up here, I'd rather be back on earth whilst catching up with my daughters."

"Yeah, the view up here is something special all right." Claudia nodded with a grin before they led their parents to the teleporters, however Claudia had other things on her mind that were related to her sister. "Addy's never been that good at lying but that conversation just now? She may as well have had a big neon sign over her head that read "I'm lying through my teeth and doing a terrible job at hiding it"." Claudia thought as she glanced over at Adriana as she happily conversed with her mother in Spanish. "She knows she can tell me anything, I made that clear to her when we entered high school, so what exactly is she hiding?"

"Hiding the fact that I'm gay from Claudia was hard enough." Adriana thought as they walked towards the teleporters. "But with mom and dad back in the picture? It'll be even harder." Adriana thought as she folded her arms. "I should talk to Rachel or one of her friends about this, they've been out of the closet for years, if anyone can help me with this, it's them."

*elsewhere in the world*

Whilst that was going on at the Watchtower Kat, Yuri, Hawk and Dove were currently searching New York for any refugees, however the girls had other things on their mind.

"I know J'onn said that they have conflicting personalities." Kat whispered to Yuri as they overheard Hawk and Dove argue over their approaches to combat whilst the four heroes travelled through. "But they make the arguments between Adriana and Claudia seem tame."

"Doesn't exactly help that they are siblings either." Yuri nodded as she glanced over at the two men. "But they wouldn't be in the League if they didn't know what they were doing I guess." Yuri added before she turned to Hawk and Dove. "So, is arguing on missions a common thing for you two or are we a special case?" Yuri asked the two men and they stopped mid-argument once they realized that the two Asian women had turned to them.

"Sorry, we'll try to focus on the task at hand." Dove apologized to the two women and Hawk shook his head.

"He's just mad because I screwed up his pacifist plan for the last mission we were on." Hawk added and Yuri raised an eyebrow. "Don't worry little lady, when the going gets tough we'll be able to hold our own."

"I hope so, I think we've just about covered all of Manhattan since we arrived." Yuri responded as she glanced around the surrounding area. "And that's not counting the rest of New York, thankfully it doesn't seem to be that different from the New York we know."

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot that you girls are from here." Hawk nodded once he thought back to the debriefing. "Know any good restaurants?"

"I would recommend my mom's restaurant but that's back in my home dimension." Kat admitted as she glanced towards a nearby spot, back home that spot was where she lived with her mother and where Lin operated her restaurant, here? It was a laundromat with no indication that anyone was living on the premises, at least from the outside. "Luckily, me and Yuri know a few places between us, real question is whether they exist in this dimension."

"If not I'm sure we'll find a place." Dove responded with a shrug and the two women nodded. "Not like New York is a small place."

"I should know, I lived in a small town just outside New York for most of my life." Kat responded but before she could elaborate, she spotted a bright blue flash a couple of blocks over. "That'll have to wait, someone just jumped over a couple of blocks away from here."

"We'll meet you there, you girls can get there faster with your flying speeds." Hawk offered and Kat and Yuri nodded before they flew off.

"The last jump over featured Professor X, The Juggernaut and Turner D. Century, wonder who we'll get this time?" Yuri wondered as she flew alongside Kat who had her wings retracted so Yuri could keep us with her. "And I just realised just how badly Turner D. Century stands out like a sore thumb in that trio."

"Yeah and for all the wrong reasons." Kat nodded in agreement as the two girls flew over. "I thought Marco was joking when he showed me the list of victims from the original Bar with No Name Massacre and the worst part is? Turner D. Century was one of the more respectable villains in that group!"

"And I don't know whether to find that hilarious or just plain sad." Yuri nodded in agreement before they reached the street, when they arrived there, they did see a familiar face on the roof of a building but not for the reasons they were expecting.

"What the?" The African-American cop wondered as he glanced around, it didn't take the two girls long to recognize him as Malcolm Reynolds, one of the colleagues of Kat's dad and Jenny's current partner on the force. "I could've sworn I was on the other side of Manhattan just a second ago, and how did I get up on a roof?"

"Trust me Malcolm, it's complicated." Kat responded as she landed in front of the cop followed closely by Yuri. "But it is good to see you again."

"Likewise, Kat." Malcolm responded with a big grin on his face once he recognized her. "But last I heard you went missing on a mission."

"It's a long story but I'll try to keep it brief." Yuri chimed in as she walked up to him. "We plus Marco and Ehsan chased Target, Hellraiser and Shockwave into a portal, that portal dropped us off in a new dimension and the Alverez twins soon followed, shortly after that, the generator went haywire and we've been on the search for any refugees from our home dimension since then with the help of the Justice League."

"You're right, that is a long story." Malcolm responded with a slight laugh before Hawk and Dove caught up with them. "Guessing these guys are also part of this Justice League?"

"Just two members of the League sir." Dove nodded as he walked up to him. "I'm Dove, my brother's Hawk, we're locating refugees from Kat and Yuri's home dimension."

"And believe me, it's been a long progress." Kat responded with a sigh as she turned to the three men. "So far the jump overs have been all over the place in terms of power levels, ranging from Avengers level threats like Graviton and The Juggernaut to losers like Turner D. Century but the main constant has been the fact that they've been dropped off in random locations, you just got lucky enough to be dropped off in your home city."

"Well, this dimension's version of your home city to be pedantic, for one thing a laundromat is in the spot where Kat's home/her mom's restaurant usually is." Yuri added before the biggest portal yet opened above the city. "What the hell?!"

"I'm beginning to think that we're going to need backup." Kat responded as the occupant of the portal emerged and once, she got a good look at it, Kat's jaw dropped to the floor. "Holy shit."

"Is that what I think it is?!" Yuri asked after several dozen double takes as they saw the SHIELD Hellicarrier appear above New York. "J'onn, we got a situation down here."

"I am seeing reports of a massive airship suddenly appearing above New York City." J'onn responded as he checked the footage. "It shouldn't be anything that you and Hawk and Dove can't handle."

"That's the thing, that ship belongs to the good guys." Kat chimed in as she glanced up at the ship. "It's the SHIELD Hellicarrier, the main headquarters of SHIELD, a government agency from our dimension that deals with Super Powers, and there's about a thousand very confused SHIELD Agents aboard that thing."

"I see." J'onn nodded as he got the idea. "Travis and I will attempt to make contact with the ship, did you find anyone else down there?"

"Another old colleague of my dad's, he's also Jenny's current partner in the NYPD but that doesn't feel like much compared to the Hellicarrier." Kat explained before pausing and quickly turning to Malcolm. "Err, no offense."

"None taken." Malcolm nodded in understanding before Kat resumed her conversation.

"Right now, Cap is the leader of SHIELD, but I have no idea how it's been operating since he jumped over with The Avengers." Kat added as she glanced around. "It might be a good idea to get him involved."

"Exactly what I was thinking, I will call Cap up as soon as possible." J'onn nodded in response and Kat nodded. "Do you want me to call you, Silent Tempest and Hawk and Dove up? I don't think anything will top the Hellicarier coming over."

"I'll let you know…..." Kat trailed off before another portal opened and they looked up, once they recognized the figure Kat let out a deep breath. "Oh crap."

"What just happened?" The aging mutant known as Magneto wondered as he emerged from the portal alongside The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, Toad, The Blob, Avalanche and Pyro. "The Hellicarrier, here? Not for much longer."
