Chapter 48
With pleading eyes that tears are streaming from, George watches as Hermione grabs Harry's wrist and apperates away to a safe house. She told no one which one she was targeting. He turns to see the rest of the wedding in a melee of people popping away. Even though they knew that it was a big possibility, he still felt bad for Bill to have all this happen on his wedding day.
When all the fighting off of the invading Death Eaters had been done, Ron looks around to finally realize that Harry and Hermione were not there. A quick inquiry revealed that they had left on the search for the remaining Horcruxes. A trip that Dumbledore had promised he would be on. After the mother of all fits, Ron was settled by his mother handing him a meal and shooing him off to eat in the breakfast nook.
It was Molly's turn for a fit when her older sons started packing up to leave. She was somehow under the impression that they would all stay at the Burrow for the duration of the war.
Fred was the first to speak up. "Mum, neither George nor I have lived here for over a year now. Percy, for Merlin's sake has a new wife to go home to. Charlie needs to get back to the refuge. Bill and Fleur have a home of their own also. We all have lives that we need to get back to. The store needs it's owners to be there."
It didn't set well with her, but they left anyway. Fred, George and Angie were traveling to London to Sirius' factory to start work on the weaponized pranks. The first load will be sent out to the safe houses in the metro area. The idea was that at some point, the Ministry would need to be taken back.
Amelia put everyone's information through and handed them muggle identification. Once that was done, Dan taught them how to blend into the crowd in London, and how to buy weapons on the black market. It wasn't strictly legal, but necessary for the effort. Now every house has an arsenal of weapons.
