The National Personifications are a unique breed and fundamentally represent the nations idea of themselves. They are some of the most fascinating personalities to study this will aim to cover a brief explanation of their personalities and why they are often believed to be gods. This will be covering them from oldest to youngest from Britannia herself to Marianne. They always have been unique, and they have led their people from the militarized world of the Goa'uld War to the peace and prosperity that currently dominates humanity's domains today outside of the Republic of the Andes which is a wreak.
Britannia: The oldest of them all she has defined how the world sees her siblings. She has always acted in what could be seen as a divine way after all a three-metre-tall woman in a robe holding a trident and a shield emblazoned with the Union Jack made out of precious jewels. She travels around the world on a chariot pulled by lions attended by the four personifications of the British Isles and often works with the personifications of the commonwealths. Then her persona of a slightly doddering old woman who has an unhealthy love of tea and Curry that undercuts most people's initial awe with full force. However, beneath that lurks a wiry cunning of a mind devoted only to her nation. She has served for decades under the banner of the United Empire as the Imperial Family can attest with her design of the vital Knight Armours and how she influenced the method of fighting the war. Her attendants of Hibernia, John Bull, Dame Wales, and Jock Tamson all are very different personalities. Hibernia spends most of her time trying to broker peace in Ireland and when that finally came she has spent time teaching Gaelic and protecting churches. With Dame Wales having a more maternal attitude and spends a lot of time protecting churches that had statutes of Saint David. John Bull has a decisively paternal conservative personality and shows it by spending most of his time smoking a pipe while reading a newspaper in Chequers and grumbling about the youth. Jock Tamson has thrown himself with the Scottish Commonwealth Party and supports the power of the crown but mostly runs around the Highlands with some neo-pagans and sheep herders while eating Haggis and playing bagpipes. Compared to the ones running around Germania and Mother Russia the Britannian personifications are completely normal.
Germania: The second oldest Germania is a lot less easy to deify then Britannia since she usually just wears a modified German military uniform but when she needs to impress she will. She will wear a red, black, and gold cloak with a crown of oak leaves, broken chains on her arms and a breastplate with the Coat of Arms of Germany emblazoned upon them. She will ride upon a pitch-black horse surrounded by Bavaria, Saxonia, Hammonia, Baden, and the other personifications of the German states. She is much more militaristic then her fellow personifications which fits with the dominant Prussian culture of the Kaiserreich influencing how she deals with the world. Though she does enjoy some beer. The attendants of Germania are all much more relaxed though all have a sense of militarism lurking just beneath the surface waiting to emerge.
Mother Russia: She is by far the most deified for good reason. She stands at four-meters tall in a uniform more reminiscent of the Kievan Rus then any modern Russian State. With armour allowing her to shrug off any attacks thrown at her while she lashes out with her axe or the butt of her rifle. There still is some semblance of modernity to her though besides her weaponry with a cap embroidered with the full Russian Coat of Arms upon her steel grey hair while her formal rank of Field Marshal has a prominent place on her shoulders. Her personality is one of war and conflict with her love of hunting and fighting having decisively influenced the martial nature of Russian Feminism. Her attendants represent the great diversity that the Tsar rules over from the Baltic Sea to Vladivostok. Mostly the Personification of Siberia serves Mother Russia as her main attendant but sometimes Moscow, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan are there as well to serve Mother Russia.
Columbia: The American National Personification is one of the most varied with three general personalities in the same body those being Columbia, Lady Liberty, and Uncle Sam. Columbia is a kind woman who will generally remain in Washington bringing light and honesty to democracy. Lady Liberty is much more militaristic with a belief that American freedom and democracy must always be protected though she did reveal the notorious Watergate case that brought in the Nixon Government after the Black Panthers was found to have murdered a Nixon staffer. Uncle Sam is more focused on the nature of America with his Yellowstone speech showing an inherent love for the American wilderness. The three are a lot less deified then their European and Asian counterparts due to their much more human aspects compared to others.
Mother Danube: The National Personification of Danubia is closer to Mother Russia then her neighbours of Germania, Helvetica, Hellas, and Italia turrita with her representing the unity around an Imperial House rather then a common nation. Fiercely loyal to the House of Hapsburg and Christianity she has made several slightly controversial statements on state religion and outright disowned the Republican group Scarlet River which contributed to their collapse. She refuses to be defied and dresses simply in the garb of an Imperial Guard or a casual dress. She is often surrounded by the personifications of the nations of Danubia who all represent the diversity that the House of Hapsburg rules over.
Hellas: She is one of the most human National Personifications wearing clothes more at place in Ancient Athens then modern Greece which makes her more approachable then the militaristic Personifications of Europe. She often drifts through Athens or Constantinople seemingly lost in memory. However, if anyone tries to mess with her she will promptly reduce them into a broken pile of flesh. She will and has fought for the survival of the Hellenic Empire most notably when she uncovered the Türkeş plot and crushed the Turkism Ultranationalist movement in the cradle.
