Chapter 1: The Library of Wa Shi Tong
Team Avatar separated from Professor Zei in their search for some useful information in Wa Shi Tong's library. They walked down an aisle to start. As they looked through the books, a knowledge seeker fox approached Katara and pointed to a direction away from the group. This fox didn't look like the rest. It was white and had blue eyes and smaller than the rest. She followed the small fox which lead her to a small door. There was no handle so she pushed on it and nothing happened. The fox and stood up on its hind legs and placed a paw on a moon and sun carving and dropped back down. Katara brought her fingers to the carving and brushed it against it before pushing her palm on it. The door slid opened.
"That's interesting. I wonder what's in here?" Katara said to herself as she walked into the dark room. The lanterns all over the room started to flicker on and Katara now saw a big room and it was just beautiful. It was a big pond with a bridge across one end to the other, crystals in the ceiling which glowed brightly with the dim fire, and koi fish and turtle ducks swimming in the water. There was a statue of what looked like a woman from a water tribe in the water. Katara started to walk on the bridge admiring the beauty until she reached a stand that held a script.
"The untold story of the goddess of life and death. Kai was a water bender who helped those who need healing all over the world. She would eventually bring balance between life and death. It is said that she can bring back the dead at the moment they passed or take a life if it's time for them to go. She was a kind and loving woman. She found her true love; he was a handsome man who a fire bender. They were like the moon and sun. He had proposed with a water tribe traditional necklace with an unordinary stone. He had used a crystal no one ever seen and unknowingly increased Kai's powers ten times. She wore it around her neck as it shined as they lived peacefully. Until another fire bender saw the power and killed her husband with unhealable poison. She fell into grief on the spot and that's when he started to chant a curse onto her. Her crystal stopped shining and her eyes got black and everything around started to die and a wave of water started flood the town. She turned back and realized the destruction and destroyed the man who killed beloved. "I will help from the spirit world" is all she said and destroyed herself along with the crystal holding her beloved I her arms and the destruction was gone and everything back to normal and everyone came back to life. She continued to help as people only saw her and her beloved as a spirit if they needed healing or need guidance to the afterlife." Katara finished the story.
She started to walked back to the gang. As she left the room, she turned back and the door was gone. She continued to walked. She finally found them and they didn't seem to have noticed she was gone.
"Hey! Look at these weird lion-turtle things." Aang said while holding up the drawing showing the Katara and Sokka.
"Ah, I've seen weirder." Sokka replied.
"Aang, did you know in a past life, you were left-handed?" Katara asked him.
"I always knew I was special." Aang replied as he rubbed the back of his head.
Sokka went off and separated from the group to look for something useful against the fire nation. Eventually he found something and everyone came over. The knowledge seeker leads them to the planetarium which Sokka was determine what happened on the darkest day of the fire nation. Once they figured out that there was a solar eclipse on that day, they noticed Wa Shi Tong and he was angry when he found out that they were going to use this information against the fire nation. He started to attack them to make sure they don't leave the library. Everyone but the professor escape the library only to find out that Appa was stolen and Toph upset that she couldn't help her furry friend and keep the library from sinking.
