„So we are going to watch over him?" Megumi said while looking out the window.
„Yes" Nanami added „you three will watch over him, the thing is, we dont know anything of his skills in detail but he is good enough to be send to us from china despite their current chaotic state.
We concluded that they want to use this international shaman student programm in order to learn about Master Tensen and how to steal him for themselfes."
„Uh, who is Master Tensen?" Yuji asked.
„To give a short explanation,
he is a immortal shaman who is mentaining all the important barriers in his nation and allows us a easier time in dealing with cursed spirits" Nanami summarized.
„That was really short." Yuji pouted.
„So when will he arrive?" Nobara asked.
„In two days.
What we do know of his background is that he belongs to a special bloodline from chinas shaman community, than clan is called Four Symbols, appareantly its members are evenly split between four curse techniques with some outliers that allow them two or more such techniques.
The four powers come from the Four Gods, Azure Dragon, Vermillion Bird, White Tiger and Black Tortoise.
Shen Ryu, he seems to be one of this rare ones who got all four of the cursed techniques. Considering there are barely 500 of the bloodline, its quite a big risk to send one with such standing inside the clan to another nation, but i doubt they had much of a choice once the chinese shaman headquarters gave the order." Masamichi explained.
„That sounds amazing." Yuji said.
„He seems to be quite strong than" Megumi said suprised about how vast the world was.
„That may sound strong, but the four cursed techniques are all limited in strength and scope. Due to having a four curse techniques to master, i doubt much came out of it, exspecially considering the user is still in your age." Nanami added.
„What are the curse techniques?" Nobara asked.
„Luckily, its quite hard to keep information hidden if every members fighting style shows one of the four techniques. So we could research him quite easily, thats also why we assume he isnt the only plan, at most he probably is a disposable pawn for other Shamans who will work from the shadows, other countries will send their shamans as well and we guess they are all behind the same goal.
For now, you three will watch out for Shen Ryu, and gradually move on to the ones who come later if we confirm our assumption that he isnt all that.
As for his cursed techniques.
The Azure Dragon, as they call it, is the cursed technique we call Inverse, Yuji and Megumi, you two encountered one of the highest level user of this technique, but to reach his level, one would have to spend a lot of time and focus on just honing that one power, so its users are mostly just shields who tank strong attacks while others do the fighting.
The Vermillion Bird is essentially the Reverse Cursed Technique, its not all that powerful in itself, and aside from a few, almost nobody can use it. I dont really have to explain much about this skill.
The White Tiger is the technique we call Blood Manipulation, we know its similar to the Supreme Rot Technique, but we dont know the details.
And the Black Tortoise is what we call Construction, since its immensely curse energy consuming, its users dont have any place on the battlefield, they act as support and as managers in and outside the clans field." Masamichi finished his short summary of the four cursed techniques.
(Two of this four skills seem really powerful once they are mastered and especially if used together) Megumi thought.

After the meeting, Megumi went of to eat something but he suddenly saw a unfamiliar figure in front of the school.
He watched the persons behavior thinking he might be one of the students who were away on missions but he saw the clothes in more detail and realised this was Shen Ryu, he had the four gods on his chest in a circle.
(Why is he here? He was supposed to come in two days.
Maybe he wanted to come early and investigate without us being prepared.) Megumi also already thought about what summon to create once he faced the enemy.
But as he came closer with a prepared stance, he couldnt feel a bit of ill intent from the person in front of him.
(With Inverse its no wonder he isnt concerned about my attack, if i user a ot of curse energy, he will just make it weaker.)
„Ah, hi, im a bit early" the boy came closer without paying attention to the hostile air surrounding the two „im Shen Ryu, i was supposed to come in two days but i was lucky, my flight was scheduled a bit earlier."
The boy looked average, orginary black hair and look, the moment Megumi touched his hand though, he could feel the rough skin and the muscles, this person had done a lot of training.
„Im Megumi" he said, still having his guard on at all times „let me bring you to the directors office."
After explaining his situation and that he got a flight way earlier than assumed, he didnt have anywhere to go but to come to the school.
Obviously nobody in th room believed the story, it was a lot more likely the shamans organized a flight and he came in order to meet everyone unprepared.
(But if he was expected in two days, and he was able to sneak into the school grounds without being detected even by the barrier, than he could have been looking around without anyone noticing he was there, so why show himself?) everyone in the room, Nanami, the director and Megumi thought the same, and all came to the same conclusion (unless...he already looked around and lies about when he came).
The boy didnt seem to be all problematic at first, Nanami and the director assumed that he was just a distraction due to his powers having some potential to become Grade 1 if mastered but his age was to low to be of any importance right now.
And now they had a problem, was what he said true? The airport supported his claim but given his backing, it wasnt hard for them to just forge the entry-date.
„Im really happy to be here" Shen said while smiling.
„We are too." The director said with a smile while shaking the kids hand.
