Loop 424, Chapter 3

Henry carried his pipe as he and Boris began traveling toward the next level on the elevator. Boris shivered as they got to level 9.

Henry patted Boris on the back. "Don't worry, I'll be back. Just don't go outside, right?" Boris nodded. As Henry ran off to complete the tasks, Boris just waited, and waited.

Then he sighed. It felt boring to be by himself. Then he felt zoned out not too long after.

Soon, I came.to Level 9, with the Believer in my hands. I was ready to kill again. I felt better.I had already knocked a few searchers on the way here, so I felt stronger. I grasped the Believer in my hands.Slowly, I began to sneak toward the Butcher gang without making a sound. I was about to cut Barley's string, but I felt.something.

Regret.

It was loosening the Revenge's control on me. Regret.

What was I doing? I shouldn't do this, this wasn't worth it.

Then Charley noticed what I was about to do. "Hey! What are you doing?!"

I dropped the Believer in shock.

They all cornered me. I felt scared.

I covered my eyes, my ears drooping behind, a few tears dripping down my eyes.

"What's wrong? Are you too crybaby? Ha ha ha!"

I felt the Revenge taking over again.

I felt angry.

My ears begin standing upward.

I took the hands off my face.

I firmly put the Believer in my palms...

The Butcher gang begin losing their stance and begin to back away.

"You know, I like to see you all cry!"

Boris finally snapped out of his trance. He had been zoning out for a moment. "Hey, Boris!" Henry was back. He had the bag of hearts,(Butcher gang hearts) and went back to the elevator.

"You know, someone had killed some butcher gang copies for me. They had already been ripped open with their hearts intact. Weird."

Then he noticed something on the left side of Boris' shoulder. Boris noticed it too.

"Ink? How'd that get on you?" Boris shrugged. "Meh, probably just a drip. Anyway, let's go meet Alice Angel!"

The elevator went up, and the chapter was coming to an end...

"I...I just don't remember."

I had already completed my second, no, fourth kill. I hadn't felt regret after that either. In fact, it felt great to kill again.

I remember that I'd save Henry for last, so he's off the list for now. Now, who else do I need to kill?

Hmmm...

Then I remember. The Angel. She was perfect. Perfect for me to kill.
