I own nothing apart from any characters that are not from the show.
Also if you ever thought about Beth's body figure just think Christina Hendricks... absolutely beautiful.
Enjoy.

Beth POV

I was so glad it was lunch time. Everyone who was in acting class this morning just kept looking at my 'necklace', or so they said.

I was the first one at the table, I sat down and put my head in my hands, it's been one hell of a day. I feel someone next to me and I have to hold in a groan.

"You are so beautiful. My name's Sinjin." I hear from the body beside me.

"I don't care who you are, please be gone in three seconds before I put you in the trash." I say, my head not moving from my hands, I hear no movement so I start counting. "One."

"Sinjin, I would walk away, now." The new voice stated. From the moment he spoke I knew it was Andre. I hear movement and look up from my hands, Sinjin had gone and Andre in his place, "Hey girly, you okay?"

"I am so over today, Dre." I say, leaning my head on his shoulder. "Tori, Jade and Beck have put a big target on my chest. Everyone just keeps staring. I feel like I need to start wearing turtlenecks if this continues."

"Girl, you would not suit a turtleneck." Andre answered, moving me off his shoulder and wrapping his arms around my shoulders, giving me a big hug.

I laugh, wrapping my arms around his waist, "Thank you, Dre."

"Well doesn't this look cosy." The voice that always makes my heart leap, growled out. I look behind me and Andre and see Jade standing there coffee in hand, taking a sip, I knew the look on her face, she was jealous.

Before I could say anything, the rest of the gang arrived and sat down, Jade takes the only open seat, on my other side, her knee touching mine.

"So guys," I start, "I was going to tell you this morning but I was so late."

"Yeah, I gotta say Beth, you look a lot different without your make up and your glasses on." Robbie said, looking me up and down.

"You should have seen her when she was 15, puberty hadn't hit and she had braces and untameable hair." Jade said.

"What how did you know what she looked like at 15? That was last year." Beck asked.

I rolled my eyes, "I am 18, I missed two years of school because my dad is in the army, we did too much travelling." I look at Jade, slight glaring, she just smiles and shrugs, I continue, "Anyway, this weekend I have a free house, my mom is going of her friends, so I thought we could have a little party!"

Everyone started to talk excitedly, Jade looks at me and leans in to talk in my ear, "Is this going to be a normal party or a proper Beth Smith party?"

"I did promise mom no massive party, so maybe a normal party, just the gang, and possibly with a bit of Beth chucked in." This made Jade laugh.

"Is there going to be alcohol?" Andre asked.

"What day will it be on?" Robbie asked.

"What will you be wearing?" Rex questions sexually. Both me and Jade give him the same look.

"Look, it'll be Friday night to Sunday morning, bring clothes, booze, whatever you want as long as it is only you guys, no one else allowed." I state with an authoritative tone. "Seriously I only wanna see," I pause to count, but get interrupted.

"It's seven, Lizzie." Jade whispers in my ear. There's that damn nickname again. I thought to myself.

"I only wanna see seven of us in my house." I say blushing madly, math was never my strong point.

"Wait, are we not going to comment on the fact that Beth is two years older than us?" Tori asked unbelievably.

"Look," I start, "When Jade and Cat left three years ago a lot of things happened, stuff with my dad, stuff with me. It was just whole lot of mess that led me to miss two years of schooling. Which is why I am here now and probably not going to graduate until I'm twenty. Is that what you want to hear, Tori?" Looking around the table, Cat, Robbie and Beck looked sheepish and Andre, Tori and Jade couldn't look me in the eye. "That's great guys, treat me differently because I am. Don't worry I'll leave, wouldn't want to give you the opportunity to dump me."

I leave the table, shaking my head. I knew I should have just done online schooling. Everyone is either going to look at me like the poor army daughter or just the dumb older teen.

I leave through the main doors and make my way to the car. I hear quick footsteps behind me and a hand on my arm, I stop, not looking behind me.

"I'm sorry for asking that question, Beth." Tori said gently, my eyebrows in surprise, still not turning around. "I won't ask another other questions about you, but I do really want to get to know you."

I sigh, turning around and smiling at Tori, I grab her hand. "Diles a todos que traigan algo para nadar el fin de semana." (Tell everyone to bring something to swim in for the weekend.)

"You speak Spanish." Tori stated, smiling back at me.

"Sì, my mother is Puerto Rican, she refused to have children that didn't know her language." I look behind me, to my car. "I am going to go, I've had too much school right now. Tell everyone they are still welcome to come over around 6pm tomorrow."

Tori nods and smiles, "I'll see you tomorrow. And I am sorry."

"It's nothing, Sugar. I'll see you tomorrow." I get in my car and start to leave the parking lot.

**Next Day - Friday**

I stayed home from school today as well, couldn't stand to be late again, because I knew I would forget once again to set my alarm. Good thing though, mom told me I have enough credits to graduate this year if I can get all my final projects done before the end of January. So we are at the beginning of September now so I have 5 months. God I hope I can get it done by then, I could totally knuckle down and get it sorted... I think.

Today is not the day for thinking about that though, tonight is the party, I have already been shopping for everything like food, soda, alcohol (I know a guy, wink wink nudge nudge). I also bought myself a new bikini, wanting to show my tattoos off to a certain someone.

"Now you promise me you'll be good, mi amor?" Mom asked walking in to the kitchen handbag in one hand, box of wine being held on her forearm.

"I will be good, mom, don't worry and you are only next door. If anything goes wrong I know where to find you." I take the box for her and follow her out the house and to next door.

"There's money on the counter for pizza or whatever take out you want."

"Mom, I'm eighteen, I can look after myself and others. You forget I am the mothering friend, and you...are... only... next... door!" I say slowly, stopping at the West's front door.

"You're a little bi-." Mom was interrupted by Jade opening the door. "Hi Jade, looking beautiful as ever." Mom said, walking past her into the house. "Where shall mi hija put the box?"

"You're looking as gorgeous as usual, Sophia. Mom is in the kitchen, making her famous sangria, you can put the box in there." Jade answered, smiling at the both of us. That when I noticed she had her hair up.

"You're looking nice," I say to her, when mom heads into the kitchen to Claire. She smiles again and I notice what shes wearing, black ripped jean shorts, a white flowing tank top that shows red bra straps and a hint of red through the white tank top. "Why and how are you home so early? It's not even after two."

"My last class was told not to turn up due to a chemical spill or something. I stopped listening after they said we could go home." Jade said, walking slowly towards the kitchen. "Are you all set up for the weekend?"

"Yeah I have everything ready, the only I haven't got is the wine, mom has it all." I say in jest as we got the kitchen counter where mom and Claire were.

Mom starts laughing sarcastically, "Oh ha ha ha, my daughter, the joker. Plus I'm sure you don't have any alcohol for this weekend do you? So why would you need my wine?" Her eyes glaring at me, to which I just sweetly smile.

"Madre, any alcohol this weekend will be consumed responsibly. By me. Alone. The kids need to have a laugh." Jade laughed at me while mom glared at me even more than before and moved towards me and slapped me upside the head.

"Estúpida, I swear the way you are sometimes makes you seem like a sixty year old woman. Live your life hija, you're only eighteen." She wrapped her arms around me, hugging me tighter.

"Sophia, venga, it's supposed to be a daughter free weekend!" Claire exclaimed, raising up the jug of sangria. "Jade go get your things and lejos de aqui!"

"Okay, okay, why have kids if you're just going to chuck them away?" Jade said laughing, and running up the stairs to get her things.

"Where's Jake? I haven't seen him much." I ask, leaning on the wall.

"Me and his father share custody of him, one week each. He's with him this week and me next and so on. Jade, being sixteen, could decided where she wanted to stay. Luckily me and Paul live close to each other so it doesn't effect his schooling." I nod at Claire's answer.

"Sorry for prying, Claire." She shakes her head at me and waves me off. I look behind me and see Jade walking down the stairs.

"Right, we are off, behave ladies, remember we are only next door so no strippers." Jade says looking at her mom.

I laugh loudly, taking and pulling Jade's hand to the front door. "Bye mom! Bye Claire!" We leave the house and run to my back yard gate on the side.

"Let's get loud." Jade smirked at me, pulling her hair out of the hair tie and pulling her tank top off and walks backwards towards the swimming pool.
