Beth POV
"Next up to the stage we have, Jade West."
I watch as she walked onto the stage with her back up singers. She looked stunning, like a fallen angel. I laugh quietly to myself, knowing I just called Jade the devil. I move away from Quinn and Santana and go towards the snacks table.
"Hey Beth, your song was amazing." Tori said, standing next to me.
I look at her and smile, "Thanks." I answered, distracted, I turn all my attention to Jade on the stage, waiting for her to sing.
"Good evening all, not that I owe you an explanation or anything but this song is for that one person, they never gave up on me, even when we were miles away from each other." Jade finished her little speech and nodded to the band who started playing.
I could help but watch her every move. (Play the video)
You think you know me
But you don't know me
You think you own me
But you can't control me
You look at me
And there's just one thing that you see
So listen to me
Listen to me
I move closer to the stage, needing to hear more.
You push me back
I push you back
Harder, harder
You scream at me
I scream at you
Louder, l-l-l-l-louder
I'm dangerous, I'm warning you
But you're not afraid of me
And I can't convince you
You don't know me
I frown at the lyrics, licking my lips, thinking to myself, Oh I do definitely know you, West.
You think you got me
But you don't get me
You think you want me
But you don't know what you're getting into
There's so much more to me
then what you think you see
So listen to me
Just listen to me
You push me back
I push you back
Harder, harder
You scream at me
I scream at you
Louder, l-l-l-l-louder
I'm dangerous, I'm warning you
But you're not afraid of me
And I can't convince you
You don't know me
I have moved closer to stage, I am practically at the stage stairs, still just listening.
And the longer that you stay, the ice is melting
And the pain feels okay, it feels okay (hey)
You push me back
I push you back
I start heading up the stairs, to the side of the stage, she looks at me and starts singing at me.
You scream at me
I scream at you
Louder [9x]
You push me back
I push you back
Harder, harder
You scream at me
I scream at you
Louder, l-l-l-l-louder
I walk onto the stage, getting closer and closer.
I'm dangerous, I'm warning you
But you're not afraid of me
And I can't convince you
And I don't have to
I think you know me
She smiles at me, I smile back, grabbing her hands in mine, I pull her towards me.
"Is that what you really think?" I ask, staring into her ocean eyes.
Jade smirks, "What are you going to do about it?"
"This." I cup her face in my hands and bring her into a kiss. I hear her drop the microphone and feel her put her arms around my neck. I place my hands on her waist, grabbing her tight, bringing her impossibly close to me. I feel her jump and wrap her legs around my waist, my hand instinctively go to her ass, hold her up as she deepens the kiss. Both are tongues in a battle for dominance, I gave her ass a quick squeeze which made me win the fight.
"Ladies, could you maybe, um, not do this here?" Lane said, interrupting us.
I smirk and look at Jade, letting her down gently. "There is actually something I would like to say to Jade." I pick up the microphone and look to the pale skinned, dark haired beauty. "Jade Louise West, will do go out on a date with me?" I ask, biting my lip, anxious on the answer.
The crowd was going wild with all the 'Say yes!' and the one 'No, say no!', both me and Jade look around and see it was Sinjin who shouted that.
Jade moved her body closer to mine and smile, "I would love to go on a date with you."
I grinned, dropping the microphone and wrapping my arms around Jade's waist, lifting and spinning her around. I keep her in my arms as I walk us both off the stage and down the steps, where we were hidden away.
"So, little miss badass, was that song written for anyone in particular?" I ask, running my hand threw her luscious locks.
I felt her hands grip onto my waist, grinning at me, "It was actually, I wrote it while me and this certain person weren't talking." She answered.
"I know your game, Jay, you're going to say it was for Beck."
"God, you haven't called me Jay in years."
"Don't change the subject, Sugar Tits."
"Why that nickname, you had a lot of nicknames for me years ago but that wasn't one of them."
"Got it from a UK TV series, thought I would try it out, and of course, there was another reason." I move closer to her, my hands going from her shoulders, slowly going lower, when I reached her ass I grabbed it forcefully.
Jade bit her lip, clearing her throat, "Okay, Lizzie, enough of that," She said pushing me away, I laugh and trying to apologise with my eyes, "We haven't even gone on our first date."
"Oh yeah," I reply, giddily, "I can't wait, a first date around Christmas, unless you want to wait until after the holidays?" I ask, biting the inside of my cheek.
Jade raised her hand and placed it on my cheek, "Any date will be amazing, no matter when we have it, because it'll be with you."
"Oh thank god, there you are. Mama has been going crazy when she couldn't see you." Esmeralda said, interrupting us. Me and jade jump apart. "Come on, then, we need to get going."
Esmeralda grabbed both mine and Jade's hands, pulling us through the crowds, finally coming in front of all our friends and family.
"Oh Liza, thank god you are here, the principal came and talked to me. It's regarding your grading." My mom said, let's just say the look on her face told me that I was not going to say goodbye to high school anytime soon. "Elizabeth Smith, I hate to tell you this."
Hey all, I hope you enjoyed the chapter! And I hope you are all pleased with the outcome. Sorry to leave you on another cliff hanger. Hopefully the next chapter will come out soon.
