Hello, I know you are probably hating me right now, but it had to happen, I hope you will all stick with me!

**Recap**

Jade and Beth were on their way back from the Christmas Talent Show, had an argument and then had a car crash. Jade was able to get out the car with the help of a police officer but Beth had half a car wedged into her waist.

Jade POV

Making the phone calls was probably the worst thing to do, especially when you had no information at all, because you are not family. Assholes. I am sat in the hospital waiting area, waiting for Sophia and my mom to turn up.

Bridget stayed by my side, no matter where I went, she followed, I would've screamed by now under normal pretences but this was nothing like the norm. I was glad she was there, I don't think I have stopped crying yet, whenever the crying got harder Bridget just pulled me into her chest, letting me cry it out.

"Idiotas, quiero ver a mi hija. Dima donde esta ella!" I hear being shouted. I stand up and see Sophia, looking ready to punch the nurse at the station. ("You idiots, I want to see my daughter. Tell me where she is!")

I walk forward, forgetting I was still holding Bridget's hand, so I essentially pulled her with me. Me moving brought Sophia to look at me, I saw her eyes go soft, she moved closer and pulled me against her body, I could hear her crying into my shoulder. I wrap my arms around her and cry with her.

I hear Bridget clear her throat, "Mrs Smith," She starts, but Sophia interrupts her.

"Thank you for looking after mi hija, Jade, I don't know what I would do if both of them were hurt." Sophia stated to Bridget, squeezing me closer to her. I lean my head on her shoulder, revelling in her smell, she smelt so much like Lizzie.

"It's not a problem, Ma'am. It was pure luck that I was the car behind them, so I was able to help as soon as I could." Bridget answered, hands tucked into her pockets.

"Sophia, where is my mom?" I ask, quietly, my throat still hurting from all the screaming I did.

"She's parking the car, along with the others." The older Latina answered.

"Others?" I asked, but it wasn't long until I heard a herd of elephants coming down the corridor, I see my mother leading them, everyone was with her, Beck, Tori, Quinn, Santana, Cat, Andre, Esmeralda, Lizzie's niece and brother in law, everyone.

"Oh my goodness, Jade, I am so glad you're okay." My mom said, pulling me away from Sophia and into her chest.

"I'm fine mom, doctor said I have hurt my throat badly due to the screaming and bruised due to the seat belt cutting into my neck but I am fine." I whispered to her, "Lizzie practically saved me."

My mom just nodded, cuddling me more into her, I feel smaller arms wrap around my hips and I see Jake hugging me as well, I smile small to him and put a hand on his head, drawing him closer. In a matter of a minute I feel my mom tense.

I look up at her, "Mom, are you okay?"

My mom looked towards the blonde Police Officer, "Bridget? Is that really you?" Her arms fall from me, her attention fully on Bridget.

Bridget tightly smiled, "Hi, Claire."

"How the hell do you two know each other?" I asked, harshly, rolling my eyes because it hurt my throat more.

"Jade, stop talking, you'll hurt your throat more, otherwise." Cat said, coming to my side, taking hold of my hand, though we all were just watching the older version of myself and the blonde, waiting for something to happen.

The hospital doors open quickly, shaking us all.

"Officer Solomon, I hear you were first on the scene." Tori's dad, David said, standing beside Bridget.

"Yes, Sir, I was luckily in the car behind Jade and her girlfriend when the accident happened." Bridget answered, turning away from my mom, I glare at my mom wanting to know the story.

"How is it that it's not even your first day on the force and you already helped with an accident?" David said, laughing a little.

"Excuse me!" Sophia yelled, "My daughter is in critical condition. No hay tiempo para reír!" ("There is no time for laughter!")

"Lo siento, Señora." David said, putting his head down in respect. "We will have to get a statement from you, Jade," I nod to him, agreeing, "I will also have to get one from you, Bridget." Bridget nods as well. "Now if you excuse me," He just points to the nurses station.

I sigh and nod my head towards the waiting room, pulling cat and my brother, Jake, with me. I sit on the seat, pulling my brother onto my lap and call Bridget to sit next to me, while Cat sat the other side.

I sit there, in the cold plastic chair in the waiting room, just waiting for any answer to how Lizzie is doing. I can't help but put my head on Bridget's shoulder. I don't know whether it is a survivors guilt or the fact she was the one who was there after the accident and saw me at my worst but something in me had to have her with me.

"Jade, baby, why don't you come and sit over here with me?" I hear my mom ask, I look over and see her waving me over.

I just shook my head and rested against Bridget again. "Why exactly is my mother trying to get me away from you, Bridget?" I ask her, feeling my brother start to play with my fingers that were resting on his lap, while he talked to Cat.

"That is definitely something your mother needs to tell you. I have a feeling once you know you wont want to know me any more." Bridget said quietly to me, her arm going around my shoulder once more, giving me a squeeze.

Beth POV

"Wake up, my dear, wake up."

I open my eyes and all I see is brightness, I look to my left and see a woman.

"Hello, my dear Elizabeth, it has been a while." She said, smiling. Her blonde hair flowing behind her, she was wearing a white flowing gown.

"I am sorry do I know you?" I ask, looking at her, trying to pinpoint when i could have met her.

"Well child, I am your name sake."

"That can't be, my Grandmother Elizabeth died when I was one."

"This is true my love, I have to tell you," She paused, "You were in a terrible accident, you are in what they call limbo, waiting to see what happens to your body in the earthly world."

I put a hand to my head, memories upon memories just flashing before my eyes of the accident. I remember, I was in a car, with Jade. I gasp, "Jade, is she okay? Is she still alive?"

"Yes my child, she is well looked after, they are all waiting on you in the hospital, but there is something I have to tell you, it will rock your world and not in a good way." She grabs my hand, holding it close to her, she was stroking my palm, as if she was palm reading. "The person who drove into you, it was..."

Sorry my lovelies, I know you are probably glaring at me right now! But there is going to be more to come!

Will Beth make it back to Earth? Who do you think caused the accident? Any songs you think would be good to go with the current situation?

Thank you all again for reading and sticking with the story!
