Hi! This is the request for after Eddie gets stabbed by the claw! Hope you enjoy! More requests would be appreciated, I have no creativity haha thanks!

The light all around Richie had faded the second the claw pierced through Eddie's chest. He couldn't breathe, or speak, or see. Everything was dark. Except for him. But he was in pain, blood gushing out of him as he was dragged around in the air like a puppet. How did he let this happen?

"Get the fuck in the water, Eds", Richie screamed from below as he looks up at the smaller boy who still stood on the cliff, terrified. "We do this at least twice a week, you obviously haven't died yet so just jump!" As far away as he was, Richie could still see the boy shake his head and cower backwards a few steps. "Fuck this shit" He mumbled under his breath as he swam towards the edge of the water. Soaking wet and annoyed, Richie climbed up to the cliff to find Eddie, still cowering yards behind the edge. "Eds," he said softly, a tone that was only reserved for this one boy. Eddie looked away. "Hey, Eds, what's up" Richie touched his shoulder, lightly turning him around. Eddie was still looking down at his feet.

"Wha- What if It's in the water." He said, shaking slightly and worrying Richie more than he already had been. He stepped closer and engulfed the shaking boy in his cold, wet arms.

"Hey," Richie said as he stroked Eddie's head, the smaller boy nuzzling into his neck, "We killed him, remember? He's not coming back, Eds, don't worry."

"But what if he does? What if he isn't dead, and he comes back for revenge and kills me? You know we can't see in the water, what if he's just lurking below, waiting for the right time to come up and kill us?" Eddie sniffles, trying to hide his tears.

"Hey hey hey," Richie says, letting go of the boy and wiping away a small tear from his face. "It's okay, I'm here. And if Pennywise does come back, I'll kill him before he can hurt you, okay?" Eddie nods slightly, his cheeks red from crying. He hugs the smaller boy again, rubbing small circles on his back.

"Hey Richie" Eddie says into the taller boys' neck.

"Mhm" He mumbles back.

"Can we go back to your house, I don't really feel like swimming right now, I kinda just want to be alone."

"Yeah, of course I can walk you back to your house then if you want some time to yourself-" He says, releasing the smaller boy and turning to leave.

"No," Eddie cuts him off, "alone with you I meant. Like just the two of us." He goes quiet at that last part, as if he's scared.

"Yeah, of course Eds." Richie says, flushing a bit red. "Let's go." Richie walks over to the edge of the cliff and sees the rest of the Losers splashing around below. "Hey, we're leaving assholes, we'll catch up with you tomorrow." Richie screams in his loud, trashmouth voice. A series of boo's and you suck's follow, but Richie waves them off and sends a middle finger their way before turning back towards Eddie to leave. "Ready?" Eddie nods, doing a little jog up to Richie and scrunching in next to his side, walking alongside him, skin to skin. He reaches down and grabs the taller boys' hand, and Richie gladly accepts. He leans his head on Richie's shoulder, and Richie allows his to fall down on top of Eddie's. The taller boy brings their conjoined hands up to his mouth and places a soft kiss on the back of Eddie's hand before they walk off into the woods.

What the fuck had he done. Why hadn't he just stayed with Eddie instead of leaving for New York, who needs stand up comedy when you have the love of your life? Before he knows it, Richie is sobbing harder than he ever has, lying besides a fading Eddie, dwelling on what could have been and why he was so stupid to screw it up. He leans down and kisses Eddie's head through the tears, sobbing even harder now.
"Richie" Eddie croaks out, holding on to life. Richie opens his mouth, trying to fight back his tears for Eddie's sake. He reaches down and grabs the sides of Eddie's face.

"Hey, hey, it's going to be okay, okay? I'm here, I'm here with you Eds." He says in the same soft voice that he's always used with him. Eddie nods slightly, crying as well now. "Shhh, don't cry, don't cry" Richie wipes a tear from his cheek, "It's going to be alright. I love you, Eds. I love you so much and I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier." Richie's tears fall down like streams now, realizing how much time he wasted fighting his emotions.

"I-I, I love you to-too." Eddie manages to whisper. Richie leans down and presses a hard, desperate kiss to the dying man's mouth, crying a little harder when he feels Eddie struggle to kiss back. He doesn't let go until he feels Eddie's lips retract, knowing he was gone. Richie leans over his body, hugging it from the side and letting out his repressed sobs, screaming in grief. Why hadn't he done that earlier? Maybe he could've saved Eddie that way. Why did this have to be his last chance?

Oof sorry that was a bit depressing at the end. That's how his death scene SHOULD have gone. Hope you enjoyed! Follow, favourite, leave a review! I'd love to have some feedback! Check out my other stories, I have two other Reddie stories on my account!
