5. Announcement

Announcement regarding High School DxD: Youkai Royal Guard.

Yes. You all probably knew what will happen to this story after 2 years without any update.

While I have been enjoying High School DxD and it's fanfic section for many years, unfortunately, I have reached the point where my interest in the DxD has dropped. Not to mention that my times at University has significantly changed how I think and how I see the world. DxD is no exception. I admit that I still enjoy the DxD, but now it isn't the same anymore.

Funny enough, I have finished planning on how this story will progress. Story arcs, climax, and epilogue were all planned. But once my interest in DxD has dropped, so does my motivation to write.

So yes. I'm officially announcing that High School DxD: Youkai Royal Guard is dead, and I will no longer update it anymore.

I want to Thank you all for all support you have given me for my DxD story.

For those who want to try to take on a story idea where Issei joined Youkai Faction, I will give you all my story planning down below:

Begin Arc

-Issei joined Youkai Royal (His reason for joining is up to you. My story picked his parent dead.)

-Training/Royal guard arc focusing on Issei integrating into Youkai society, Social structure, Royal Guard hierarchy, etc.

-Issei and Kunou were appointed at Kuoh in preparation for a future meeting between the 3 factions.

-The 3 factions never signed a peace agreement due to tension and distrust from terrorist attacks.

-Terrorists exploited the tension between 3 factions, disguised as one of the factions, committing a massacre (CoD No Russian Style) and blaming another faction.

-Pressured by the massacre incident, All factions leaders were forced to declare war on each other.

War Arc

-3 factions battling each other while humans watch from the sideline, making sure humanity will not be dragged into war.

-Youkai Royal guard facing internal conflict. Pureblood faction VS Progressive faction (Yasaka)

-When all 3 factions finally realized the mastermind after 3-4 battles, ceasefire, and join forces to fight a common enemy.

-In desperate, The villains unseal the 666 monsters (Trihexa) as mutually assured destruction for all supernatural and humankind

Final Arc

-Mankind Government forced to reveal the existence of the supernatural due to Trihexa destroying 2-3 major countries

-Supernatural and Mankind join force and preparing for final war to seal Trihexa again

-Battle against Trihexa

-Successfully sealed Trihexa again, at the huge cost of all faction and humanity.

-Peace agreement between supernatural and humans was signed. Opening a new chapter for world history.

-The end.
