I'd asked if they were staying longer and found out they were going to stay about three days to rest a little before moving on, so I offered to let them stay in our little neck of the woods, "Maxine will be thrilled to cook for more people." I lead at the front of the pack, letting their conversations wash over me. It was actually rather relaxing

"We actually lived a few days' walks from Ostagar and the Korcari Wilds, so we left as soon as we heard about its fall, coming here," Amber explained as we came into sight of the half-built home.

"It was weird moving, cause back there, everyone knew Sensei and loved her. They didn't stare at her all cautious. It probably helped our village was rather isolated, so we didn't get many visitors, unlike here." Maxwell added on.

"Sensei is her name?" the Sister named Leliana asked.

"Nah. It's just her title. She says it means Teacher in one of the languages she knows. She says it also means doctor. Which is kinda cool." Amber answered.

"My name is actually Edelweiss. Odd name, I know but it means -" The Qunari cut me off, "Daring and Courage." I blinked at him and grinned, "Yeah, Exactly. My parents wanted me to be Courageous and Brave in the face of danger and the unknowing."

That was unexpected. If there were anyone in the group that I expected to know the flower language (Or at least 'a' flower language), it would be the Chantry Sister. Well, who'd have thought?

"I hope your bonding time is done, cause we've got company!" I called out loudly. Alistair blushed up to the roots of his hair, Leliana giggled, Natia let out a loud guffaw, and the other two were still stone-faced. They didn't care for the implied innuendo.

Stick in the muds.

Gods, I was so immature. I giggled anyway.

Malcolm came out of the house, smoothing down his shirt, causing me to snort again. He paused at the sight of the group that followed. "She wouldn't have brought you here had she not been confident those stories were false." He started slowly, looking at me.

I shrug, "It was the other way around. Loghain betrayed the king."

"And they didn't lie?"

"Nope. At the very least, they believe everything they've said." I told him, twitching my nose deliberately. He nodded and turned to the group.

"Welcome to our not quite built home. I'm Malcolm Trevelyan. It's a pleasure to meet you. If Adel has welcomed you, then we shall as well." He dipped his head briefly in greeting.

"Yes, Thank you for having us." Natia grinned and nodded.

Maxine joined us soon enough, and they and I got to work on cooking a stew for the group. Of course, the kids asked for another story. "Which one? Or do you want a new one?"

The kids exchanged a giddy look before speaking in unison, "The USJ Incident!"

I rolled my eyes, but nodded my consent and began to tell it.

So I started to tell the story that brought UA Class 1-A to the world's attention. The group of Wardens looked rather interested and interrupted now and then. Even the Qunari called Sten. Though I was rather cautious when sharing information with him.

So, that was how they found out I wasn't from Thedas. I was pretty sure a few (If not all) of them didn't really believe it, though. Which makes me laugh, honestly. Because in a world of magic, why wouldn't dimensional travel not be a thing?
