The next week went by so quickly and uneventful for me, but I was grateful for that. I was going out with

Ray that Friday night after work. I was really nervous about going out with her because this was my first

time going out with a woman. Lita told me that everything will be fine. Just go with my gut feeling.

It was Friday afternoon, and I was waiting to hear from Mr. Brown about when his next visit will be so I

can make sure everything is ready for him when he landed. I was eating my lunch in my office when the

phone rang.

"This is Rena." I answered.

"Hey Rena, it me." Mr. Brown answered back.

"Hello, sir, I was waiting for your call. When would you like me to schedule your flight?"

"Well, I'm not going to make it this time. They are going to send someone else in my pace, but she is

already there in the states. She actually just moved there to help head up another department. I just

have so much stuff going on here that I wouldn't be able to come and Mr. Shields thought it would give

her a good chance to get her feet wet a little bit."

"Oh, ok. Is everything alright, sir? Do I need to come back for anything?"

"No, it's just some family stuff and little fires here that I can take care of myself."

"If you insist. When will she be coming and what is her name?"

"Here's the funny part. She is Mr. Shield's daughter. Apparently, she just graduated from college in

England and wanted to move to the states afterwards so he thought he should give her something in the

designing department."

"I wasn't aware that Mr. Shields had another child." Darien never mentioned having a sister. His parents

split up a while before him and I met which made me wonder if his mother had his sister and he never spoke about her.

"No one was until he announced his decision a few days ago. When him and his ex-wife divorced, they

split the children. They are twins and Mr. Shields took Darien and the ex took the girl. I don't know what

her first name is but she's a Shields. She should be there first thing Monday morning. Can we have a

Zoom meeting set up at 8 o'clock in the morning?"

"Yes, sir. Do you want me have the usual set up as if you were here?"

"That would be wonderful, Rena. I knew I could always count on you. If you need anything you call me

ASAP, alright Rena."

"Yes, sir, I will. Is there anything else you need?"

"No, that's all for today."

"Then sir, since I have all my work done for today is it ok if I leave two hours early today?"

"Sure, that's fine with me. Have a good weekend, Rena and I'll talk to you Monday."

"You too, sir."

And we hung up the phone. As I finished my lunch I started thinking. Lita just graduated college but she

didn't go to England. She went here in the states. There is no way Ray is Darien's mysterious twin sister.

Well, I hope at least she's not.

After lunch I pushed those thoughts to the back of my mind and worked on getting things set up for

Monday. I also had everyone meet up so I could announce the change of Miss Shields being here in Mr.

Brown's place but to act like it's Mr. Brown here. I explained to them what will be happening that day

and what is expected of them. After that I finished up what I needed to and then I packed up my bag and

went home so I could get ready for my date.

I got home around 3:30 and Mina was sitting in the living room.

"Where's Rini?" I asked her.

"She's down for a nap and I'll be getting her up in about 20 minutes." She replied.

"Ok. Ray will be here about 5 so I'm going to go get a shower and get ready. Are you sure this is ok? Me

going out tonight? I didn't mess up any of your plans, did I?"

"No, Rena. You deserve this. I never make plans on Friday night just in case you need me."

"You really are a God send and I'm lucky to have you."

"I know." She giggled.

I went into my room and got into the shower.

One Hour Later

Rini was up and in the living room with Mina and I was almost done getting ready. I decided on a black mini skirt and a red tank top with a black sweater and red pumps. I decided on light make up. Just some eye shadow, mascara, and lip stick. In my opinion that's all that was needed. I walked out into the living room and sat down next to Mina on the couch.

"Rena, you clean up nicely." She said when she saw me giggling.

"Thanks a lot."

The doorbell rang and I jumped up. I looked the peephole and saw Ray standing outside. Wow, she's early. I opened the door.

"Hey, Ray."

"Hi, sorry I'm early. I wanted to give Rini something if that's ok?" She said as she stepped in the doorway holding a small bag.

"Yes, that's fine." I said walking towards the living room with Ray right behind me. Wow, she got something for Rini. That's so sweet of her. Ray took a pink plastic rattle out of the bag and handed it to Rini who was sitting on Mina's lap. Since Rini really couldn't hold it, Mina held it and shook it for her.

"Thank you, Ray. That was really thoughtful." I said in admiration.

"Oh, no problem. I always liked being around kids and hope to have some one day."

"Are you ready to go then?" I asked then Ray's cell phone started to ring.

"Sorry, I have to get this. It's work."

"It's ok. I understand." Ray smiled and reached for her phone.

"This is Ray Shields." She answered.

My heart fell to the ground. Ray is Darien's twin sister?
