Ray's POV

I left Rena's office with a little more bounce in my step. I sat down at the desk getting ready to go over all the reports that needed to authorized when my phone rang. It was Darien. I know I needed to answer it. It was more than likely a work related call.

"This is Ray Sheilds." I answered

"What in the world are you thinking?" He yelled into the phone.

"Working. What are you doing?" I asked.

"Ray, Father is furious. You where seen kissing another employee and a woman no less."

"Who I kiss is none of your business or Fathers. I told the family a long time ago that I was gay. And we where on our lunch break. We would never do that while both still on the clock. I know where the lines are drawn, Darien."

"Was it her?"

"What?"

"I know Rena works there in that office. Was it her?"

"It's none of your business. Is there something work related you would like to disciss with me?"

"That is what I was calling about it how inapropate that was."

"Then I have nothing else to say. Have a wonderful day, Darien." And then I hung up the phone. He is so pissed. Father may send him out here. I'll need to talk to Rena after work tonight.

Instead of going over to Rena's office and possibly making things worse I sent a text.

Hey do you have plans after work?

I was expecting some time before she answered but my phone dinged right away.

Well, I was hoping we could hang out.

That sounds like a plan to me. I need to talk to you about something.

Did I do something wrong?

No, love. Something just happened and it kind of involves you and Rini.

Oh, ok. Meet me in the parking lot after work day is over?

I'll be there.

She was honest with me about Darien and Father. And about Rini. I need to let her know what's going on. What if Darien does show up? She needs to know.

Rena's POV

At least I knew that I didn't do anything wrong. I thought maybe she wanted to break up with me. I know that this is new but I really do like her.

I went to check to see if I had a response from Mr. Brown and I did. He had some more things to do and it was going to take me into the late night. I better let Ray know. I picked up my phone.

"Hey Rena, if everything ok?" She asked.

"Yeah, Mr. Brown just gave me a lot of work and I will be getting off late. Can we try for later?"

"That's fine. Just let me know when. Now get to work."

"Yes, ma'am." I giggled and hung up.

Midnight

I was just about done with the work. I did ask Mr. Brown since I was here so late if I could work from home tomorrow and he said that was fine. All I had to do was send all of it in a e-mail then I could go home.

After sending the e-mail I sent a text to Mina that I was on my way home. I then packed my bag and grabbed my keys and started for the parking lot. When my car got into sight there was someone was standing at my car.

"Darien, what are you doing here?" I asked in shock.

"Rena, we need to talk."

"Right now? My nanny is expecting me home and besides I'm tired."

"If you want to keep your job you will come with me now." Dariens said coldly.

"Then give me a few to make arrangments."

"Make it fast." He ordered.
