Reviews:

zugrian : My first experience with Emma Frost would be from the 'Wolverine and the X-Men' cartoon, I see the character as sarcastic, witty, sometimes even bitchy when she wants to be but definitely someone you want on your side.

DZ2 : The falling for thirty minutes is my all time favourite Loki line, Thor Ragnarok took me so off guard because i was not expecting something so funny when i first watched it.

NobodyOwens5 : Not yet at least, I expect to be finished or at least at the end of first year by chapter ten/eleven or maybe sooner, not sure yet.

Odin Haraldson :Haven't really decided what to do about Pietro or Magneto yet, might not include them at all, it is still just something to think about.

bahnannah : Good idea, maybe.

Chapter 3 -

"Hey Grandpa, Dr Strange" Harry said after he and Wanda exited Madam Malkin to find Logan and Dr Strange waiting for them. "you guys alright?"

"We are both fine, what about you?" Dr Strange asked.

"We met one blonde prick but he's still alive before you ask." Harry responded.

"Hmm," Logan grunted. "what do we have to buy next?"

"Hmm, well..." Dr Strange paused and looked at his list. "...huh, wands." Dr Strange said as if the word was something that personally offended him.

"You don't like wands?" Logan asked.

"My magic works differently from Harry and Wanda's," Dr Strange began explaining. "they can use magic from an inner source, a magical core if you would, therefore they need a magical focus to help channel their magic into spells, I on the other hand use powers from external forces outside of my own body and therefore do not need a focus. Thanks to my training in the mystic arts I have learnt that magic, or at least the magic that I use, is the practice of harnessing dimensional energies to manipulate one or more aspects of the infinite realities that are present within the Multiverse and..."

"Basically he uses something else to power his magic while me and Wanda come built in with our own batteries." Harry explained, cutting off Dr Strange.

"Yes, pretty much." Dr Strange nodded, not really happy that Harry had interrupted but understood that the young mutant was rather impatient and the fact that most of what he was saying was probably going over Logan's head, not because the man was unintelligent, simply because of the way the man was. "Now," Dr Strange said as he turned to Harry and Wanda. "the two of you can go with Logan here to get your wands while I go and get the last of your ingredients." Dr Strange said, "The shop is over there." He pointed to the wand shop before he walked off and began muttering under his breath about 'wands' and 'teaching kids how to properly use magic'.

"Alright come on brat," Logan said to Harry. "half-pint." Logan added to Wanda before walking off in the direction of the wand shop. The pair of eleven year old mutant-wizards followed, not even blinking at what Logan called them as it was simply a habit for Logan to call people by other names, Jean still had not gotten Logan to stop calling her 'red'.

"Well...this looks lovely." Harry said in a dry voice as he, Logan and Wanda entered Olivander's wand shop.

"It could do with a clean." Wanda said, noticing some dust. "Where is the owner?" She asked as Harry and Logan began sniffing the air. Both of their eyes widened suddenly, they turned around at the same time. Logan quickly grabbed the man who had snuck up behind him, Logan held him by the neck with one hand and had narrowly avoided pulling his claws out of his other hand.

"Who the hell are you?!" Logan growled.

"O...Olivander..." The white haired man managed to gasp out. Logan quickly realised that this man was the owner of the shop so he let him go, though he kept ready to start clawing at a moment's notice. Olivander coughed for a couple of seconds before he removed his wand and pointed at his own throat before he cast a spell on himself. "Oh ho," He coughed once more. "Minerva always told me that one day somebody would take offence to my sneaking act, I owe her ten sickles." The man frowned as he talked to himself before he looked up and smiled at the three mutants. "I assume you want wands."

"We are in a wand shop." Wanda pointed out.

"Of course," Olivander said. "now which one of you will be going first?"

"Ladies first." Harry shrugged and stepped back so Wanda could get her wand.

"Very well." Olivander said as he stepped towards Wanda and stopped in front of her. "What is your wand arm dear?" He asked as he pulled a tape measurer out of his pocket.

"Um...I am right handed." Wanda said.

"Ah, wait there miss..." Olivander trailed off as he began measuring her arm length.

"Maximoff." Wanda said, answering his unasked question about her name.

"Miss Maximoff." Olivander nodded before he began taking several measurements. "I won't be a tick." He said as he walked off to begin getting some wands. It took about half an hour before a bored Wanda was finally able to get her wand. "A brilliant wand if I do say so, eleven inches, holly wood with a phoenix tail." He smiled at her, internally he was very confused as Dumbledore had told him that Harry Potter would get that wand, however the wand had already chosen it's owner so there was nothing to be done. "Now, your turn Mr Potter." Olivander said as he turned to Harry.

An hour passed by and Harry was still trying wands, the kids were between bored and impatient while Logan was getting pissed off by how long the man was taking.

"Look we'll just take this one." Logan said as he pointed to the one that Harry had just tried.

"Oh no!" Olivander quickly said as if Logan had just broken some massive rule. "You can not let him use this one, it is ill suited to him."

"Yeah well I have just wasted an hour of my life watching you look at a ton of 'ill-suited' wands," Logan growled. "get it right with in the next five tries, if you don't then we'll just take whatever one you have or go find another wand seller."

"Very well." Olivander sighed before he continued trying out wands. "Okay," Olivander said on the fifth try. "try this one Mr Potter." Olivander said as handed Harry a black wand. Harry took it and a felt a rush of magic that caused him to smile and let out a small laugh before he could stop himself. A bright light shined out from the wand, temporarily blinding everyone in the room before it died down.

"Whoa." Harry breathed out.

"An impressive wand Mr Potter, a rather unique one as well, made by my father in fact. My grandfather also helped make it, fourteen inches, yew wood and with two magical cores. A thunderbird tail combined with the horn of a horned serpent, it was very hard to make. A truly powerful wand, I hope it will serve you well."

"Uh...thanks I guess." Harry responded, not sure what to say.

"So do these kids just hold them all day?" Logan asked. "It doesn't feel safe to keep them in their pockets, what if they accidently blast each other?"

"That is a very low possibility but I can sell them both wand holsters if you wish." Olivander replied.

Five minutes later the group had left the shop, a few galleons poorer, with not just wands but also wand holsters and wand care kits because according to Logan, 'if you are going to have a weapon then you are going to stay safe and keep it working properly'.

"Do me a favour, never make me go back there again." Logan said to Harry and Wanda, both of whom nodded in agreement.

"Ah there you are." Dr Strange said as he walked up to them.

"What took you so long?" Logan asked, raising an eyebrow at him. "You only had to get a few ingredients."

"Oh I was just walking around because I didn't want to go in the shop." Dr Strange admitted. "Now come." He said before walking off with the kids following him along with Logan who was cursing under his breath. "You should all know that there is an option to bring a pet with you."

"A pet?" Logan asked.

"They have a choice between an owl, cat or toad and we are quite close to the pet shop." Dr Strange said as he gestured to the shop. Logan turned to the kids to see them both grinning up at him with hopeful faces.

"Put them away." Logan sighed. "Fine, but only one pet. And you two will be in charge of feeding it, cleaning it and all that crap. Do you hear me? I am not going to babysit your pets for you."

"You got it," Harry said as he grabbed Wanda's hand. "let's go." He said and the two rushed off to the pet shop.

"Those two are very close." Dr Strange commented as he and Logan walked after them.

"Hmm," Logan grunted. "the kids understand each other."

"Charles had alluded to there being dangerous consequences to separating the two," Dr Strange replied. "do you know what he is talking about?"

"They don't blow up or anything if they're separated, if that's what you are worried about." Logan responded. "It's more mental than physical and that is all I am going to say on that. So don't ask more." Logan said. Dr Strange looked at him a frown, he was tempted to ask but decided to listen to Logan and stop asking.

Dr Strange and Logan arrived in the pet shop to see Harry and Wanda looking all around the pet shop at the variety of birds, fish, reptiles and mammals on sale. This continued for about fifteen minutes before they both had made a choice. Several minutes later they exited the shop with a white snowy owl.

"So Steven," Professor Xavier said as he and Dr Strange sat in his office, "I trust there where no difficulties today?" Professor Xavier asked as he sipped some tea.

"No, nothing we could not handle." Dr Strange replied after sipping his own. "The kids seemed to enjoy themselves, or the very least not hate the experience. The two have also procured a pet, a snowy owl. I believe that they have still not come up with a name for it yet, however it will be useful for them as they are often used to send messages to others."

"Truly?" Professor Xavier asked in an interested voice.

"Yes, they apparently do not do emails." Dr Strange said in a dry voice. "I spoke with Logan today, he did not tell me much about Harry or Wanda, nor did he tell me about the apparent reason behind you not wanting to separate the two. Though he did mention that it was more of a mental state than physical."

"Ah, yes." Professor Xavier sighed as he placed his cup down on his desk. "Wanda, did not always live here, she was mistreated in the last place she was before she came to the institute. I had managed to get her here for a trial basis, to see if she would be able to live here without causing any harm to others or herself. At first it did not seem to be going well and I feared that I would have to send her back for the safety of others. However one day Harry had somehow managed to tame her."

"And how did he do that?" Dr Strange asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I must confess that I am unaware of what method he used," Professor Xavier admitted. "all I do know for sure was that Harry and Wanda talked together and from then on the girl has refused to leave his side, of course she will leave him for a few ours or so but she would prefer not to. She is far closer to him than anybody else in the institute."

"You don't know why? Haven't you ever..." Dr Strange trailed off and tapped the side of his head.

"No," Professor Xavier replied as he gave Dr Strange a soft glare. "just because I possess telepathic abilities does not mean that I read the minds of all the children that I have problems with."

"You are right," Dr Strange said in an apologetic voice. "forgive me please, I did not mean to imply anything."

"It is quite alright," Professor Xavier said, waving him off. "you are not the first nor do I believe you will be the last person to suspect me of doing so. However back to Harry and Wanda, since Wanda seemed to finally start getting along with someone I was able to keep her at the institute for longer. As for Harry, when he first came here he was about the only person more animalistic than Logan. As a matter of fact Logan was the only one allowed near him as he was the only one who could physically restrain him without ending up worse for it.

Eventually Harry had calmed down, he met Wanda a year later and the two are inseparable since. I think that with age the two will either grow apart or become all the more closer, it is too early to say in my opinion."

"Was zum Teufel?! Oh Gott, ich werde sterben!" Kurt shouted in German as he ran with Harry chasing behind him. Harry was chasing after Kurt with his claws out and growling while he did so. "What did I do?!" Kurt shouted as the two turned a corner where Logan was.

"Hey." Logan said as he grabbed Harry by the collar with one hand and picked him up. "What are you chasing the elf for?" Logan asked. Kurt stopped a short distance away, glad for a break.

"I am going to school soon." Harry pointed out. "I won't be able to chase him then. That's why I am making the best of my limited time." Logan stared at Harry for several seconds with Harry staring right back.

"Fair enough." Logan eventually said as he dropped Harry onto his feet.

"Wait what?!" Kurt blurted out in shock and disbelief with a little fear mixed in.

"You had better get to running elf." Logan said as Harry charged after Kurt who quickly got an all fours and began running. Kurt knew there was no point in teleporting away as Harry was always able to pop right next to him whenever he did so. "I am pretty sure the kid won't kill him." Logan said to himself right before he heard a crash. "Ninety percent sure." Logan corrected himself.

"Ah hello Harry," Ororo Munroe, also known by her code name 'Storm', smiled at Harry when Harry arrived in her greenhouse. Storm was a beautiful woman with light black skin, white hair and blue eyes. The two had a tradition of meeting in the greenhouse every two days and Harry would help her out with the plants. Storm was undoubtedly Harry's favourite professor, partly because in his mind Logan did not count because he was his grandfather while Professor Xavier did not count as he was the headmaster, but also because the woman had always been kind to Harry, even when Harry was less than nice to her. "how are you today?"

"I am fine," Harry replied as he walked over and began watering the plants with her. "me and Wanda...Wanda and I..." Harry corrected, earning a nod from Storm. "...went wizard shopping yesterday. We've got wands now, did you know that?"

"I did not," Storm shook her head. "what are the wands like?"

"It feels good," Harry said. "I felt happy when I picked mine up."

"That's nice, will they teach you how to use magic without a wand?" Storm asked.

"I think so." Harry shrugged. "Not sure really, me and Wanda haven't read the books yet."

"Make sure you do read them later," Storm said. "you do not have to be the best in class but you should at least try your best."

"I will," Harry said with an affectionate eyeroll. "I am going to miss you." Harry admitted as he stopped watering his plants.

"Aw, and I will miss you Harry." Storm said as she pulled him into a hug, one which he returned. "I remember when you first came here, all growly and small and dangerous, look at you now. Exactly the same except you can hold conversations." Storm joked, earning a chuckle from Harry.

Harry and Wanda had spent the rest of their summer at the X-mansion reading up on what they could while also spending a lot of time with the others. Mostly with Kurt, Jean and Scott but also with Kitty and Rogue and Bobby who were about a year younger than them. Kitty was a brown haired girl with the codename 'Shadowcat' and the ability to phase through objects, she got along well with pretty much everyone even if Harry and Wanda thought she was a bit too cheery. Bobby was a brown haired boy with ice powers, his codename was 'Iceman' for obvious reasons. Rogue's codename was...'Rogue'...though everyone knew it was not her real name. She had the ability to absorb memories and powers from others, unfortunately it meant that she could not really touch other people for their safety.

Harry and Wanda had also spent some time with the teachers, mostly Logan and Storm but also a little with Professor Xavier and Beast. Beast was a mutant who possessed superhuman abilities such as strength, speed, etc plus he had feet that could be used like hands and retractable claws. Unfortunately he came with the side affect of being covered in blue fur, though nobody at the institute really cared about that.

Eventually though it was time to go.

"Why do they go on trains? Shouldn't magical people be able to teleport or something." Logan complained as he walked the kids down the platform along with Dr Strange.

"I don't know, I assume that it is tradition or maybe it helps give the teachers time to set up or something like that." Dr Strange replied. "The kids can ask when they get there."

"Forget that, what the hell kind of person thought up Platform 'nine and three quarters'?" Harry asked. He wore black trainers, blue jeans and a dark green shirt under a black hoodie. Wanda walked alongside him, wearing black high heels and a black skirt with a red shirt and black jacket.

"Unfortunately I don't know." Dr Strange said, he was tempted to shrug but did not, he was the sorcerer supreme, he did not shrug.

"So there is supposed to be some portal or something?" Wanda asked as she and Harry pushed their trolleys along.

"Well yes, there will be..." Dr Strange did not get to finish as a loud voice interrupted.

"Packed with muggles! Come on, Platform nine and three quarters this way." A redheaded woman said as she walked up the platform with a group of kids following her.

"Is...she...isn't she not supposed to say that type of stuff aloud?" Wanda asked.

"She probably didn't get the memo," Logan said. "let's just follow them." He said.

"No need," Dr Strange said as he stopped, the trio of mutants stopped as well. "see that wall over there?" He asked as he pointed to the wall between platform nine and ten, the others nodded so he continued speaking. "There is a portal there, you'll need a magic user to enter through it."

"So I can't come?" Logan asked.

"No, just hold onto either Wanda or Harry and follow them in." Dr Strange said.

"Fine," Logan said before noticing the redheaded family talking to each other. "yeah...I am not wasting time with them, come on." Logan said as he grabbed Harry's trunk and walked forwards along with Harry. The two walked past the red headed family, the family were about to protest them cutting the line but didn't get a chance to do so before Harry and Logan disappeared.

"Whoa." Harry said once they arrived on the other side of the platform. "You know," Harry said to Logan. "I am surprised how quickly you accepted what Dr Strange said and just decided to walk straight at a wall."

"Kid when you've seen as many things as I have you eventually stop questioning things." Logan said just as they moved forward right in time to avoid Wanda and Dr Strange who followed through.

"Whoa." Wanda said as she looked around.

"I already said that." Harry replied before they began walking forwards.

"Okay, now the kids just have to get on the train and then that's it." Dr Strange said to Logan. "I will leave you three alone to say goodbye." He said as he stopped. "Goodbye kids." He said to Harry and Wanda.

"Bye Dr Strange." Wanda and Harry said before they walked off with Logan.

"Alright kids," Logan said as they stopped a short distance away. "I guess this is it." He said.

"I suppose so." Harry replied. "Try not to get in trouble without me old man."

"Oh shut up." Logan said as he rolled his eyes and pulled Harry into a hug which Harry returned. "You two look after each other," Logan said once they let go, he patted Wanda on the shoulder as neither of them felt like they were in a relationship where they would hug each other. "Don't take crap from anyone, send us a letter if your phones don't work."

"According to Dr Strange they should." Wanda replied.

"Alright, bye kids." Logan said.

"Bye Mr Logan." Wanda said.

"Bye Grandpa." Harry smiled at him before he and Wanda entered the train, their trunks weren't much of a problem as Harry was stronger than average plus with Wanda's powers it did not really matter.

"Well," Wanda said as she sat next to Harry once they found a compartment. "are you looking forward to school?"

"I'd rather be back at the X-mansion." Harry admitted. "But I don't know, it could be cool. I am not being too hopeful though."

"Well, at least we'll be together." Wanda smiled as she wrapped her arms around Harry's arms.

"Oh finally." A voice interrupted, the two looked to see the door open and watched as someone came in and sat down opposite them. "You do not know how long I have been waiting on the train for you."

"You!" Wanda glared at her.

"Emma?" Harry blurted out in surprise as he looked at the beautiful blonde girl sat next to him.

"It's nice to see you Harry." Emma Frost smiled at him before her smile shifted into a frown. "This is your fault by the way."

A.N: hi guys. For those interested in wands:

Holly: Holly wands work most happily for those who may need help overcoming a tendency to anger and impetuosity. (Pretty perfect for Wanda in my opinion)

Thunderbird tail: Powerful, but difficult to master, particularly prized by Transfigurers. Can sense danger and cast curses on their own

Horned sepent horn: Exceptionally powerful and sensitive to Parseltongue. Can warn its owner of danger by emitting a low musical tone.

My sources are: wiki/Wand_wood and wiki/Wand_core

Hi guys, hope you liked the chapter. Yes Emma Frost is in this but not Hellfire club Emma Frost before anyone asks, I am doing my own twist on the character. And the story is now Harry/Wanda/Emma and will not be changed so now adding anyone else. Thanks for reading, feel free to leave a review.
