DZ2 : I can and now I will use that line, if not this chapter then probably in a future chapter.

Wizard Eternal : So to sum up Emma Frost (at least all I know about her), she has two main powers. The first is being able to shift into a diamond form, but if she does then she can't use her second power which is telepathy (mind reading), she is a really powerful telepath. She is also shown to be quite smart and intelligent, calculating, witty and driven. There are some versions of her where she joins a 'hellfire club' (I think that's what is called) but my version won't be doing that. My version will for the most part be the opposite of Wanda, Wanda is impulsive and emotional while Emma is calculating and has more self control.

Chapter 5 -

The next day Harry woke up in the Hufflepuff first year boys room, he looked around and saw his roommates were still asleep. Harry was always an early riser, the Dursley's would have sooner pranced in front of Buckingham Palace while dressed as leprechauns before willingly doing anything that would make Harry's life easier including letting him have a full eight hours of asleep. Once Harry had got to the institute he found it hard to break his habit and soon saw that there was no point considering that his grandfather liked everyone to train early in the morning. Harry had always made a habit of waking up early and doing whatever he could do or needed to do to make the rest of his day easier.

Harry had been introduced to his roommates yesterday before he went to sleep, he had four roommates. Justin Flinch-Fletchley, Ernie Macmillan, Zacharias Smith and Wayne Hopkins. Justin was apparently a muggleborn who was very excited to be here, Ernie and Zacharias were both purebloods while Wayne was a half-blood. Harry had not made any strong opinions of them yet, though he did have some opinions. From what he understood so far Justin, Ernie and Zacharias were all high class kids, Harry would not really care about that as long as they don't bother him about it. Wayne seemed the most likeable so far but once again, Harry was not sure yet.

He supposed it would not matter either way as he had Wanda, and Emma as well he supposed. He did not really mind having Emma hang out with him, he found her to be fun enough, though the problem came with Wanda. It was so obvious to even a blind person who had his ears removed that Wanda did not like Emma, that was not really helped by Emma antagonising her but Harry hoped that the two would at least stay civil with each other, for the safety of the school if for no other reason.

"This is your fault by the way Harry." Emma said to Harry as he, Emma and Wanda sat at the Hufflepuff table for breakfast.

"Okay, I will bite, what is my fault?" Harry stopped eating and looked at her, he was tempted to just eat and talk but Storm had spent some time breaking him out of that habit when he was younger.

"This." Emma said as she gestured to her school uniform which was just like all the other school uniforms except that it had a yellow and black tie plus the Hufflepuff logo due to the fact that she was in Hufflepuff. "It is yellow."

"Since when did Harry chose the school uniforms?" Wanda asked, rolling her eyes.

"You had to go to the house with yellow?" Emma asked Harry. "I would look much better in blue or green, ah well...I suppose I will simply have to make it work. I forgive you Harry."

"Yippee." Harry said in a bored voice before he continued eating. Once he and the girls were done eating they stayed at the table and waited for their schedules. Eventually Professor Sprout, herbology teacher and head of Hufflepuff house came over and began handing them their schedules.

"Ah and Mr Potter," Professor Sprout said. "the headmaster wishes to see you today after class, so when you are finished with your lessons then please come and see me so I can escort you there."

"Okay." Harry nodded, Professor Sprout smiled at him before leaving. "Why does he want to see me?" Harry asked the girls once he was sure that the professor was out of hearing range. Wanda shrugged but it was Emma who answered.

"Oh I do not know, I am sure it has nothing to do with the fact that you threatened and punched a student yesterday." Emma said in a dry voice.

"I do not think I did anything worth having the headmaster of all people come and talk to me, I mean my head of house sure but not him." Harry replied.

"I...actually, now that you mention it, I do think you are right." Emma replied, her face was blank but she was thinking really hard about it.

"Don't act so surprised." Harry said as he rolled his eyes.

Harry, Wanda and Emma arrived at their first class of the day and school year, they arrived in charms class with the Ravenclaws and other Hufflepuff's including Wanda and Emma's roommates, three girls who were called Susan Bones, Hannah Abbot and Megan Jones. They entered and sat down, Wanda took the seat next to Harry so Emma sat in front of the pair alongside Megan Jones. They looked ahead at their charms teacher, Professor Flitwick.

Professor Flitwick, small man that he was, turned out to be a very great teacher. Enthusiasm and great theoretical knowledge combined with the opinion that practical was just as important meant that Harry and the others had an enjoyable hour learning charms.

Shortly after the group of Hufflepuff's and Ravenclaws left to go to transfigurations class, when they entered they all took their seats and noticed a cat sitting on the teachers desk. Harry nose picked up on the scent of the cat and found it familiar, it reminded him of Professor McGonagall. Between a cat that smelt like McGonagall in McGonagall's class and being in a class that was about changing the shape of things, Harry did not need long to work out that this was actually Professor McGonagall.

Emma who had once again sat in front of him, glanced back at him and Harry could tell that she had also realised who it was. Harry nodded to let her know that he understood, Emma smiled at him before turning back to the front. Harry noticed Wanda giving him a look that clearly said 'what?', Harry gestured to the cat on the desk who was now looking at them. Wanda looked at the desk and Harry whispered into her ear about how he thought that the cat was McGonagall, Wanda's eyes widened at that.

"Professor?" She mouthed at the cat, the cat was still for several moments before it nodded. As soon as it was time for the lesson to actually begin the cat jumped off of the desk and transformed into Professor McGonagall while in midair, Professor McGonagall did not look like she had just jumped off a desk, she made it appear as if it was simply taking a step forward.

"Welcome class, to transfigurations," Professor McGonagall said before she looked in Harry's direction. "ten points to Hufflepuff for realising that I was an animagus, can you tell me how you realised it?"

"Your scent." Harry answered.

"My scent?" Professor McGonagall frowned. "What do you mean by my 'scent' Mr Potter?"

"The cat smelled like you and we are in a transfigurations class, it did not take a genius to make that leap in logic." Harry replied.

"And how exactly did you smell my scent from across the room Mr Potter?"

"It is part of my mutant powers." Harry answered, a few muggleborns gasped as they realised that Harry Potter, boy-who-lived, was a mutant.

"Mutant?" Professor McGonagall asked, looking confused before realisation hit her. "You are a mutant?!" She asked, unable to keep the surprise out of her voice. Thanks to all the muggleborn students she knew and had met she was well aware about what a mutant was.

"Yes, I would have thought that the headmaster would have told you." Harry replied.

"He has not, but I will talk to him about it later." McGonagall said before returning back to teacher mode, she began explaining the dangers and theory behind transfiguration, halfway into the lesson she began handing out matchsticks and asked the class to start turning them into needles.

Between Harry, Emma and Wanda, it was Wanda that struggled the most as she tried not to rely on her mutant powers and go purely on magic plus she was just generally the least fond of being in school, but with that said she still did do a decent job, especially after Harry helped her out. By the end of the class Harry and Emma had both managed to get a perfect needle while Wanda's needle was only slightly off but still better than most.

"Excellent, well done all three of you." Professor McGonagall said to them as she looked at their work, "Miss Maximoff yours will need a little more practise but I have every confidence that you will soon be able to produce a perfect needle if your performance today is your usual standard, five points to each of you."

"Thank you Professor." The trio said.

Soon the lesson ended and they walked out of the classroom. Harry and Wanda along with Emma walked slightly behind the other students, they also could not help but notice a few students glance back at them repeatedly.

"Are you sure that that was a wise idea?" Emma whispered to Harry as the trio walked to their next lesson.

"What are you talking about?" Harry asked.

"Revealing that you are a mutant." Emma replied. "Are you sure that it was a good idea to do that? All you have done is bring more attention to yourself."

"He shouldn't hide who he is." Wanda said.

"I agree," Harry nodded. "I am not going to hide who I am, if people do not like it then they can fuck off."

"Yeah!" Wanda said, showing her agreement. "We are who we are, it's not our fault!"

"I understand that I suppose," Emma sighed. "I wonder how long it will take them to realise that I am one as well, given how much time I spend with you two. Do me a favour and do not reveal my powers when they do, that just makes things a ton more difficult for me. Or if you must reveal something then just my diamond form, I would like to at least keep my telepathy a secret."

"Fine." Harry replied.

"You know that you can probably keep your secret safe if you stop hanging out with us." Wanda replied.

"No, I am afraid not." Emma said with a sad look and voice that was clearly fake, her face shifted into a genuine smile as she wrapped her arms around Harry's left arm. "After all, I can not leave my Harry alone here."

"He is not yours." Wanda growled as she grabbed onto his other arm.

"You two do realise that I am not an actual animal that you can own, right?" Harry asked, he wasn't really sure at this point.

"Come in." Professor Dumbledore said as he sat at his desk, the door opened and Professor Sprout walked in along with Harry.

"You wanted to see me sir?" Harry asked.

"Yes, please take a seat." Dumbledore said as he gestured to the seat in front of him. "Professor Sprout thank you but you may go now."

"Wait a sec," Harry said before Professor Sprout could even take a step in any direction. "I would prefer it if she stayed."

"Harry my boy, I assure you that that is not necessary."

"Neither is hair." Harry said before he gestured to Dumbledore's beard right after he sat down in his seat, Professor Sprout looked torn for a moment between Professor Dumbledore and Harry but decided to stay like Harry requested, she was a Hufflepuff after all. "So, how are you sir?"

"Rather well my boy, we are merely waiting for two more people to arrive." Dumbledore said, almost as if on cue the door opened and Draco Malfoy walked in followed by a teacher. Harry looked at the man who followed Draco in, he was dressed entirely in black, had pale skin with a long beak-like nose and his face looked very unhappy, he had yellow teeth and he also had some ridiculously greasy hair. When he saw Harry his face went from irritated to hateful. "Ah welcome Mr Malfoy, Professor Snape." Dumbledore said to the two. "Please take a seat Mr Malfoy." Dumbledore said as he gestured to the seat next to Harry, Malfoy sneered at Harry before he sat down at the seat. "Now what seems to be the problem?"

"On the train ride here I looked for Potter so I could offer him a hand in friendship and he viciously attacked me." Draco said quickly. "Look what he did to me?" Draco pointed to his black eye.

"Well that is obviously a lie." Harry replied.

"How so Mr Potter?" Dumbledore asked.

"You know about my grandad's...'gift'...to me," Harry smirked as he purposefully tapped his hands, he continued once he was sure that Dumbledore understood. "you can surely realise that if I wanted to attack Malfoy then it would be a lot worse than this."

"Headmaster the boy has attacked one of my snakes! I demand repercussions!" Snape said, glaring at Harry.

"He wasn't even a snake when the incident happened." Harry pointed out but that only seemed to make the man angrier.

"There are two witnesses that say that the arrogant brat attacked Mr Malfoy!" Snape said, clearly referring to the two boys that were with Malfoy. "The boy should be put in detention..."

"Without getting to argue my side and tell my version of events?" Harry interrupted. "That hardly seems fair."

"Mr Potter is right," Professor Sprout agreed. "he should be given the chance to explain his version of events."

"Why? It is obvious that the brat is guilty." Snape said.

"That is very professional," Harry said sarcastically. "no really, incredibly professional for you to take the word of one student, constantly look angry and insult me for no reason. What the hell is your problem with me anyway? We've just met, why do you look like I shit on your carpet?"

"Mr Potter language," Dumbledore admonished before anyone could say anything. "now Harry could you perhaps tell us your version of events?"

"Sure." Harry shrugged. "Me, Wanda and Emma were sat in our compartment. Malfoy over here came over and interrupted us, I admit that he did offer to be my friend, right around the same time that he insulted my other friend Wanda. He called her the 'wrong sort'. I kicked him out of the compartment, I did punch him yes, but that was only after he had pulled out his wand."

"He admits to it!" Professor Snape cried out triumphantly.

"No, he said that he only struck Mr Malfoy after he pulled out his wand." Professor Sprout objected. "That is self defence, if we are going to punish anyone here then it would be Mr Malfoy for insulting Mr Potter's friends and pulling out his wand."

"What?!" Malfoy blurted out with disbelief.

"Mr Malfoy has witnesses saying that Potter attacked him without provocation!" Snape argued.

"I have witnesses that say I did not." Harry responded. "Like I said I was in the train compartment with Wanda and Emma, if you need two witnesses then you can ask those two. They saw the whole thing. The way I see it is Malfoy has two witnesses and I have two."

"Mr Potter is right about that," Professor Sprout said before turning to Snape. "unless you have another witness stashed somewhere?" She asked, Snape did not respond and instead settled with alternating between glaring at Harry and Professor Sprout.

"Are either of you two willing to change your version of events?" Dumbledore asked Harry and Draco, both shook their heads even though Draco looked pissed off while Harry had settled into a calm and bored look. "Very well, since this incident had occurred on the train before you both were students I will be willing to let it go just this once, however next time if we find ourselves in a similar situation then..."

"I will call my father." Malfoy said in what was supposed to be a threat towards Dumbledore and Harry.

"Aren't you a little old to be pulling the 'I will tell daddy' card?" Harry asked, raising an eyebrow. Malfoy turned red and was about to respond when Professor Dumbledore spoke again.

"That will be enough, you are both dismissed." Professor Dumbledore said, Harry shrugged before standing up and walking out with Professor Sprout following after him. Malfoy and Snape both scowled before doing the same. Dumbledore did not get much time to think about what had just happened as Professor McGonagall walked into the room. "Minerva?" Dumbledore asked.

"Why didn't you tell me that Harry Potter was a mutant?!" She demanded, more furious with the fact that he did not tell her than anything else.

"Ah." Dumbledore sighed as he realised that today would be a long day for him.
