Hey, y'all! I know it's been a while since I've published but never mind that (please?). Here's a small one-shot on Annabeth when Percy went all psycho on Akhlys. Enjoy!
I, unfortunately, do not own PJO or anything to do with it.
Horror.
That was the only word to describe what she was feeling right then.
Her kind, sweet, annoying Seaweed Brain was filling her with horror.
As Akhlys begged him to let her go, she watched as he smiled then began laughing.
She cried out his name as he continued choking the miserable woman, telling him not to do so.
Finally, he looked at her, and for a second, she could see the monster beneath his skin in his eyes and was terrified.
But then it vanished and she saw the sea-green eyes of her beloved Percy.
She clung to him as he hugged her and told him to never do it again, even though she wasn't certain if it would ever happen again.
She told herself she wouldn't ever let the creature within him to come out again.
That was a promise.
Sorry if it was a bit sloppy and sort of inconsistent. I sort of threw it together quickly and I haven't read HoH in a while.
