The sun rose in the city of Bugdom. It took place in Rosie and Dim's house. Rosie was asleep, moaning softly, as she rubbed Dim's foot, smoothing it. Dim was also asleep, snoring softly, beside her, smoothing her abdomen.

As Rosie stirred, she yawned sleepily, stretching her hands and legs. She sat up in bed and still felt Dim's foot touching her abdomen. Rosie faced Dim, and smiled, blushing. She took Dim's foot from her abdomen and sets it gently on the bed, as Dim stirred in his sleep and sucked half of his foot in his mouth. Rosie walked out, as if to prepare for breakfast. Before doing so, she combed her hair and puts makeup on her face.

After Rosie looked at her calendar from far in her room beside the hallway, noticing that a day at the circus is coming up in a few hours, she thought,

I better go wake Dim up.

Rosie sweetly went back into the bedroom, where Dim was still sleeping. She smiled and starts petting him, as if to wake him up. Feeling his cheek and horn petted by Rosie, Dim snored a bit, and stirred, yawning, as if it sounded like a lion's yawn. He sleepily sighed heavily, moaning, and opened his eyelids.

"Good morning, Dim," Rosie said with a smile.

Dim chuckled sleepily, and rubbed his eyes, sitting up on bed.

"Mornin' Rosie," he moaned as he stretched his legs, and said,

"I'd better go clean myself and my wings. I'll check you at breakfast."

Rosie nodded sweetly, and went to the kitchen. She even heard Joanna and Josie's footsteps approaching. They came for breakfast, too.

"Oh, good morning, mom and Josie!" Rosie said with a smile, and embraced her mother and twin sister.

"Good morning, sweetheart!" Joanna said as she kissed Rosie on the forehead.

"Morning, sis!" Josie cheered as she hugged her twin sister.

"How is Dim? Is he awake?" Joanna asked.

"Oh, mom, he's getting himself cleaned," Rosie responded.

"I'm here! Dim said as he rushed into the kitchen.

"Morning, Dim!" Josie cheered and shook hands with Dim.

Blushing, Dim chuckled as he shook her hand.

"All right, dears! Let's get breakfast done. We have a big day, because my baby Rosie has circus acts to do, and sign Dim up for it!" Joanna said as she began to cook breakfast for Rosie, Josie and Dim.

Later...

After breakfast, Rosie and Dim bid Joanna and Josie goodbye, hoping that they'll come back tonight. Rosie took Dim's foot as she led him to P.T. Flea's circus.

Meanwhile at the circus, P.T. Flea caught Rosie and Dim going towards the circus.

"Hey! What do you think you're doing, Rosie?! Where is your partner?" he asked as he leapt to Rosie.

"Who?" she asked.

"I don't know! Prove it," P.T. replied.

"I never partnered anyone in the circus within my life. Now, I do," Rosie answered,

"Right here."

Dim stepped next to her. P.T. yelped as he panicked,

"AGH! A rhino beetle! WHAT IS THAT THING DOING?!"

As the other circus bugs remaining: Francis, Slim, Heimlich, Tuck, Roll, Manny and Gypsy walked to P.T. and gasped.

"Rosie, my dear, what is that thing?!" Manny asked in a terrified tone, as he squeezed Gypsy's hand, as if to comfort her to stop shuddering in fear.

"Please, don't hurt us!" Heimlich panicked as Slim and Francis held onto each other.

Tuck and Roll are whimpering in fear.

"It's okay, everyone, this is a harmless rhino beetle. His name is Dim, because I tamed him," Rosie said to everyone in comfort.

All of a sudden, the bully insects behind the grass bushes snickered, and started throwing small rocks. As P.T., Rosie, Dim and the other circus bugs reacted, Gypsy asked as she went to Manny's side,

"Manny, what's going on?"

"Who is throwing these rocks, Slim?" Francis asked.

As Slim tried to finish his sentence, a nearby rock, was aiming for Dim, who gasped. Dim lets out a yelp as he got hit by a rock, losing consciousness. Rosie and the other circus bugs gasped.

"Oh, dear... Dim!" Rosie cried, and ran over to Dim's side.

She starts checking his pulse, as if to hear his breathing, so that he could wake up.

P.T. was already in shock as he saw Rosie trying to wake Dim up, but then stared at the bullies who were laughing. He frowned at them, as if he was gonna shout at them. But suddenly, Dim regained consciousness, stared at the bullies, and started to growl at them.

"Dim?" Rosie whispered.

"What's happening?" Slim asked the others.

The bully insects stopped laughing all of a sudden, feeling shocked. Snarling, Dim charged at the bully insects, attacking them. As he pinned them down, Dim swings his front legs and lets out a ferocious roar, voiced like a T-Rex. Rosie shuddered, as the other circus bugs felt themselves shake with fear. Except for that moment, P.T. was proud.

"AAH! Please don't kill us! We won't do anything to you," one of the bully insects insisted.

The other bullies nodded in fear. Angrily, Dim shoved them out of his sight, and they scurried away.

Rosie reacted with a gape, and she reassured him. Dim surely calms down. P.T. went over to Dim and Rosie.

Proudly, he marveled,

"Congratulations, Rosie, your beetle is very ferocious!"

Smiling tearfully, Rosie said,

"Really, P.T.? Do you mean it?"

P.T. nodded as he continued,

"You, mistress of high wire, surely are a tamer to Dim, because he, will be known as "The Ferocious Beast!"

Rosie squealed with delight, and embraced Dim. Dim chuckled with delight, as if he smiled to become like a circus lion.

The circus bugs smiled in agreement. They loved Dim to be Rosie's partner, as if she will act as his tamer, and he will act as a lion who is most likely ferocious.

Meanwhile...

Joanna and Josie are waiting for Rosie and Dim to come back home for dinner, as if the sun was setting.

"Mom! Look, Rosie and Dim!" Josie cheered as she pointed at Rosie coming with Dim beside her.

Rosie embraced her mother and twin sister with compassion. Dim came and shook hands with Joanna and Josie. Then, sweetly, Joanna led Josie, Rosie and Dim into the house, for dinner.

"So, Rosie, honey, is there something you would like to tell us?" Joanna asked.

"About what?" Rosie asked.

"About your day at the circus tryouts," Joanna responded.

"Yes! And we would love to hear everything about it!" Josie said cheerfully in an agreement.

Dim nodded his head at Rosie in comfort, as he was still eating. Rosie sighed, and said,

"Okay. Since I left you guys, I took Dim to the circus for tryouts."

"That's lovely, sweetie. And then?" Joanna asked.

"My boss P.T., and the other circus bugs were shocked of me bringing Dim here," Rosie continued.

"Ooh, what did they say?" Josie asked.

"Sis, they felt shocked, but the same, when we saw Dim get hit by a rock," Rosie responded to her twin sister.

Then, with a smile, she added in,

"Dim also attacks the bullies who did this, and he appears VERY ferocious!"

Joanna and Josie said in unison,

"Ooh!"

"And now, it ended better, that Dim is working with me, as "The Ferocious Beast!" Rosie marveled.

"Aww, congrats, sweetie! That's my girl!" Joanna squealed happily as she embraced Rosie, who started giggling.

Her mother continued,

"You made your mommy very proud!"

"How exciting! Yippee!" Josie cheered happily.

Dim blushed, and just chuckled in agreement.

Right after dinner, the day was getting dark as the stars twinkled. Rosie, Dim, Joanna and Josie bid each other goodnight. Rosie and Dim climbed onto their bedside. Rosie laid down and tiredly yawned as she covered her mouth with her hands. Dim sat down, and rubbed his eyes, yawning. Then, they all fell asleep.

In his sleep, Dim was smoothing Rosie's abdomen, snoring softly. Also in her sleep, Rosie was rubbing Dim's foot while smoothing it, moaning softly. Sleeping peacefully, they hope that their friendship will go on.
