Chapter 13

Happy birthday to me! Sending you lots to love!

They spend the next few days like usual, doing their chores. Eren would help Kenny in the farm and he was happy to work side by side with the Alpha and talked about the interesting things Eren learned in medical school. The old Alpha was so fascinated as Eren dug deeper on the subject and his interest grew as he learned new things.

While Levi was back to his routine of cleaning the house, doing laundry and tending his little tea garden.

But the afternoons and evening will be different. Eren and Levi will take a stroll around the farm while Kenny stayed at home and read the books that Eren borrowed from the library.

When the weather is bad or they just simply want to relax in the house, they will enjoy a pot of tea as they share stories. Sometimes Kenny will join them. Eren will share about his childhood, his mother jokes, his father's passion with his work. And Kenny shared his experiences when he was a wild lad, while Levi tell his tale to Eren of how the town grew as more residents moved in to enjoy the beach.

Upon mentioning the beach, Eren stood from his chair excitedly. "Beach!" He announced. "I heard it was open!"

"Ah, yes. Pixis mentioned yesterday that they had cleaned the place and fix the path," Kenny informed, casually taking a sip on his tea.

"That is great! We should visit it!"

"Well, I guess. Uncle, you said that yesterday was the opening maybe tomorrow there will be less people," Levi turned to his uncle with a hopeful smile.

"I don't know brats," Kenny shrugged. "There is still a lot of things to do here."

"But the crops were growing nicely," Levi pointed.

"And we weeded the plots today, they won't grew back that fast overnight, right?" Eren gave Levi a cheeky smile.

Kenny finished his tea, enjoying the bitter after taste when he felt eyes on him. Looking up from his cup, Levi and Eren were looking at with anticipation.

"Why do I suddenly have two brats?" Kenny asked himself.

"Yeah! Beach party!" Hange cheered before bolting to the shore, hapsihazarly dropping her things.

"Oi! You witch! Don't just leave your towel on the sand!" Levi huffed in disgust as he witnessed how his friend dropped her white towel on the sand.

Eren was smiling widely, admiring his boyfriend in a blue floral shirt, yellow shorts and a straw hat on his head. Levi was simply adorable.

They invited Hange, Connie, Sasha, Armin and Mikasa. Thinking that it will be fun to enjoy the beach together. Connie and Sasha was already in the beach and had set up their things when Eren and Levi arrived. The two were already in the water, shouting at them to join them. While Armin and Mikasa still haven't arrived.

Eren watched the vast ocean, admiring the colors in the waves as it gradually changed shade when it is in deeper parts until it met the horizon. It was a beautiful sight. The books and pictures certainly didn't gave justice to the beauty in fornt of him. Then his eyes landed on Levi. The Omega was trying his best to pick up Hange's things with his limited vision. Levi was walking slower this time due to the uneven sand.

Wanting to assist the raven, Eren put away his things in the shade with Levi's and Kenny's. Eren took off his shirt, ready to take a swim with everyone but of course, he wanted to spend some time with Levi.

First, Eren planned to asked permission from the old Alpha. "Kenny, I can swim with Levi alone..." He paused.

Kenny who had already set up his blanket on the shade, was already snoring, enjoying the cool breeze coming from the open sea.

Eren shrugged and ran towards to the raven.

"Fucking witch," Levi muttered as he picked up the white fuzzy blob on the sand. He felt relieved that he doesn't have to hold back to language anymore or force his voice in a higher pitch, he felt much better at expressing himself now. It also helps that Eren haven't commented on it since and it made Levi's confident grew day by day.

"Need some help?"

He heard Eren offered. "Yes," He turned to the Alpha and bumped all the Beta's things in the brunette's offered hands. "Crazy witch," he cursed.

"But you loved her because you picked up her stuff," Eren teased.

"Whatever," Levi pouted. Then he blinked and looked at Eren. He can't see it clearly but Levi knew what's up. Eren is half naked. He felt heat creeped on his face.

"Hey, don't jump in the beach without me! I'll be back!"

Then Levi watched as Eren's blurry half naked figure run back to their spot to put away Hange's things.

Levi sighed, dazed as he imagine how sexy might Eren look without his shirt on. But there is one big problem, the raven stared at the blue hues of the ocean. Closing his eyes, he breath in a lung full of fresh ocean breeze in hopes that it will calm his nerves.

"Come on, Levi." Eren held his hand, breaking Levi's mediation and guided the raven to the waters.

"I'm not sure Eren," Levi voiced his concern as he eyed the blue hues that stretched into the horizon.

"It's okay, I'm here. You trust me, right?" Eren took both of his hands, this time, they slowly walked to the shore. Before they stepped in the brunette took off his slippers and the raven's sun hat.

"I do, but it's a little scary..." Levi whispered shyly as he took off his slippers. Looking down at his bare feet, the raven saw nothing but blurry hues of white, blue, then some brown. And some red?

"Eren, what's the red thing?!" Levi panicked, side stepping away from the mysterious red thing or creature near his feet.

"Oh, it's an apple. It must be Sasha's," Eren bend over and took the apple. "Hey, Sasha! Is this yours?" He held the apple high for the other to see.

"Yes! Thank you Eren! Throw it here!"

Eren threw the apple a little far off from where Sasha was and the brunette never seen her swim as fast as she can just to get her hands on the apple. Eren laughed then he turned back to Levi. Looking down at the raven, the Omega was frowning adorablely as he tried to scan the sand near them.

"Hey, it's fine. There is nothing scary in the beach. I promised." Eren scanned the area near them and making sure that there is no sharp shells that can harm his boyfriend.

"I'm not sure..." Levi whimpered.

"You can tell me if you want? What it is that you were worried about?" Eren asked, letting the raven know that if Levi is not ready to share his fears. Then it is fine.

"I can't swim," Levi stated.

"Me too," Eren smiled. "We'll stay close to the shore then."

"But-" Levi hesitated. Then he nodded. "Okay, we'll stay near the shore."

"Yey!" Eren cheered. He guided the raven to the waters, while in the process of raking his feet first in the sand around the area to make sure there were no shells or rocks that can hurt or frightened the little raven. Also, he scanned the waters for jellyfish or anything but found none.

Levi gasped as cold water splashed on his knees. The sand below his feet sunk as he put his weight into it. He shivered at the odd feeling. Levi loved visiting the beach before but he never dares to go in the waters. "Eren, don't let me go, please." Levi pleaded.

"I won't, talk to me Levi." Eren encouraged.

"It's scary Eren. I can't see anything but fuzzy shade of blue around me. I can't see anything down my feet." Levi's imagination sore high, thinking that there might be sharks in the waters that will nibble on his feet or possibly piranhas.

"Hold to me then," Eren placed both of Levi's hands on his neck when the water reached on the raven's waist.

"If there's a jellyfish, I won't be able to see it," Levi continued and practically cling into the Alpha.

"Upon checking out surroundings, the water is clear of jellyfish. Also," Eren nudge his feet on Levi.

Levi jumped. "Ek! What was that?!"

"It's my feet Levi," Eren nudge him again. "I rake my feet in the sand near us to make sure there are no sharp shells or creatures near you. You can relax now."

"Oh? Well, thanks..." Levi said, unsure. Then he gasped when he felt the pull of the waves. "Eren! There are waves!"

"Oh, yes but they were small. Nothing to worry about," Eren assured. "Come on, let's sit on sand." Without waiting for a reply, the Alpha bended his knees so the cold waters will reach neck. "Levi, this is nice! You should try it!"

"Umm..." Levi hestitated, if he sits then the water will reach his head. It's obvious that he is still worried but he kept reminding himself that he had Eren looking after him. Also the heat of the sun is buring his head. "Okay..."

Holding his breath and closing his eyes, Levi bended his knees and sat until the water reached his head. He thought that the brunette was right, it is nice to just let the cold water cool down his body after bathing under the sun.

Levi felt relaxed being envelope with the cool waters but then he was pulled up rather quickly. The raven blinked, confused.

"Levi, oh my gods! Are you okay?!" Eren's panicked voiced greeted him. "I forgot about our height difference, let's move to the shore a little."

"No, it's okay. I did that in purpose," Levi slick his fringe up, and tried to wipe away the sea water on his face.

Eren stared at his boyfriend, Levi is ten times hotter with his hair slick back and his soak shirt. It looked like the raven got out from a photoshoot in the beach.

"They are here!" Hange's voice echoed when she spotted Armin and Mikasa arrived with some bargue.

"Who's here?" Levi asked.

"Mikasa and Armin just arrived and they brought barbeque. Wanna go and check it out?"

"Ummm, can we stay like this for a bit?" Levi requested with shy smile on his lips. He is kneeling in the sand, letting the waters passed on his shoulders.

"Of course!"

"So? What do you feel now that you've finally swim in the ocean?"

"I... This just amazing Levi!" Eren cheered, playfully splashing the water. It was like a dream come true, a monetary flashback rushed through him. He was in the bathtub, splashing at the water, in the age of seven, that was the ocean for Eren. Now he's finally in the ocean not in a bathtub and another bonus is he had the person he adores next to him. "And it is much better because I have you here." Eren gave him a cheeky smile.

"You're a sap," Levi muttered, rolling his eyes on the excited Alpha.

"But you liked it!"

"Well, yeah." Levi looked down shyly.

"How about you Levi? Are you excited for tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow? What's for tomorrow?" Levi tilted his head and raise a brow at the brunette.

"I quietly spoke to Pixis earlier when passed the town. He confirmed that the mailman will arrive tomorrow!"

"R-Really?" Levi stuttered. He lost count of the days after everything that had happened.

"You're getting your glasses tomorrow Levi!" Eren cheered.

"I... don't know what to say..." Levi blinked, he can't believe that he'll be able to see clearly tomorrow. "This is actually happening... I'll be able to see," he whispered, covering his mouth with he suddenly started trembling and it's not because he is cold. He looked up to Eren's blurry face, there isn't much to see with all the hues that made up the Alpha's skin, hair and eyes.

Levi can't wait to see the world. To see Eren.

Raising from the water a little, Levi place a kiss on Eren's cheek. "Thank you," He whispered before pulling away.

Eren was smiling ear to ear, he took Levi's hand and place a kiss on the back. Then he nuzzled his face on the raven's hand.

Levi felt his heart skipped a beat as the Alpha started to croon. The raven wholeheartedly thank the universe for letting Eren trespassed their land in the first place.

"The mail is here!" Eren announced, running to the door to retrieve it.

"Uncle I'm finally getting my vision fixed," Levi hopped excitedly.

Kenny remained silent but it is obvious that he is holding back the tears of joy.

Eren came back swiftly with a parcel in his hands. He sat down in the dinning table where the Ackermans were patiently waiting. The brunette can't help the smile on his face as he gently opened the parcel.

The smile on his lips dropped when he fully opened the parcel.

Kenny noticed the sudden changed of the doctor's expression and decided to moved to his side and checked what causes the Eren's frown.

And he saw, the three sets of glasses. All were broken.

"Hey, why are you guys so quite?" Levi asked, still keeping his smile despite that he can smell the heavy scent of disappointment in the air from the two Alphas.

"Levi," Kenny scooted to his nephew and held his hand. "It's the glasses, all of them were broken."
