How much time had passed? And what was this dull ache I felt cutting through my eyes as if my skull had been mashed in? And what was covering my face? Even if I wanted to find out the answer to these things, my returning senses were quickly invaded with warmth which took my attention. It was only a small tingle at first but slowly gained power, spreading through my body. As I felt the warmth increase, my pain began to dull as if the warmth was taking its place. Along with this there was the soft fuzziness that wrapped itself around me. With this simple happiness, I couldn't hold back the tears as they spilled forth in a rush of emotion dripping down my face. But instead of the tears of sadness I had cried for so long, they were tear of happiness and warmth. This warmth pulsed through me giving me a bubbling feelings cutting away at the darkness in my soul. As these forgien feeling surfaced, I noticed the soft breaths that filled my ears and the feeling of a soft heart beat that help to thaw my own frozen heart. A small smile crossed my face as the peacefulness of this moment passed from the one next to me. When was the last time I had smiled? When was the last time I had cried tears of happiness?
These feelings made me choke and filled me with energy as the drowsiness dropped from my body. With my returned movement, I lifted my hand out to touch the fuzziness in front of me, causing more tears to drip from my eyes. Along with this small act the fuzziness moved slightly and squeezed me tighter as if to protect me from the chill of the world.
Though all this was cut off as a soft beeping filled my ears sending sharp pain through my head making my hand cover my ear. Along with this a small wire fell completely off my skin, being followed by the slam of a door. As the light thuds of foot step came closer, I noticed it to be the one I called the Needle. The one who loved watching me suffer and did everything in their power to hurt me, most of the time with a sharp object. As they grabbed my shoulder, a small cry echoed forth. I was then ripped away from the warmth once again, causing me to instinctively reach out feeling the grasp of the warmth as it gripped me. Thought the grasp on my back won as I completely lost the warmth causing my happiness to be replaced with anger. Flashes of all the pain this one had made my go through just fueled my already burning anger, making me lashed out, my fist landing into the person above. A loud crunch echoed in the room, pain shooting through my hand, ending with a loud thud from a body hitting the ground. This was followed by a cry from the warmth behind me, making me quickly regret my act.
But even with that regret and me knowing the outcome of my attack, a smile still dotted my lips. My thoughts were cut off as the door was slammed open, making me wince and instinctively cover my head. I was then slammed to the ground, a sharp bolt of pain being jammed into my back causing my limbs to go numb as I was hit with what I called the buzzer. Following this the cutting pains of coldness holding my hands behind my back, as I was unable to move my paralyzed limbs. This was followed by the constant shouts of anger and impacts all over my body. So much noise and pain echoed forth making my ears feel like they were bleeding, as they throbbed with pain. It was like some was slowly cutting their way through my eardrums and twisting the blade to get the most out of it.
Even through all this I was just barely able to make out the echoes of the warmth's voice as my body was beaten and bruised. As I felt warm liquid dripping down my face, I was pulled to my feet where I was met with a slap and a voice screaming at me. I was able to grinned slightly as the thought of the warmth filling my head before I felt an impact to my stomach, causing me to wheeze as the breath forcefully left my lungs. As I coughed up the nonexistent food in my stomach, I tried to reach down to protect my aching stomach but instead finding my hands were held behind me. Hopelessness filled my body making it go limp, my ears catching the sound of another cry from the warmth. Though it was quickly cut off with a thud and yelling. In a daze from the pain, my head was pulled up, the last bit of energy I had being turned into anger. Jumping forward, I tried to lash out, the thought that they had hurt the warmth, boiling my blood. My attempts were to no avail as my hair was ripped back, making me grit my teeth. Completely drained my struggle was ended, the hand going about working away the thing wrapping my head. As it fell away I was fully blinded.
How would you explain light? Bright rays of pure warmth. Even with my eyes burning and my entire body aching, nothing could change the bubbling feelings I felt as gentle light covered my vision. What was this? Was all my suffering over? As the cloth completely left my head, the grip was removed as well. My head going limp for a second before I caught myself, making my eyes feel like they were being crushed as the world blurred before me. Looking back up, my eyes met the one who had removed the cloth but was unfamiliar to me. As they caught my eyes they moved back and forth, my eyes following them. With this they exclaim loudy, shouting out. Following this they pushed me to the floor where I stumbled to the ground in a lump, dumbstruck. As I hit the floor my head became dizzy, the world spinning before me in streaks of grey and soft light. As my body settled to the ground, my eyes were able to catch the blob of a person holding open the door and another dragging the limp body of one covered in red. As they went through, the door slammed close, sending more pain through my head.
Wincing, pain flowed in through my bones and out of my eye, as I tried lifting my head to take in my surroundings. After a bit of struggle I was able to find my balance. Still hazy, I saw a light grey room, with a metal door along with a small window. Along with this the soft light revealed a metal sink along the wall to the left of the door. Though my inspection was halted, as I finally noticed the sound behind me and I was then dragged partway to my feet. My internal want to lash out was quickly crushed as I felt the warmth fill my back and was able to catch a shade of orange from the corner of my eye. The warmth. The one who had been there for me. As I was pulled onto my back, blue eyes and orange fuzz filled my vision. I felt more tears fill my eyes as they were filled with the warmth that had all but kept me alive. I was bewildered by the colors before me and beautiful was the only thing going through my mind. As the tears streamed down my face I felt the warmth try and wipe them from my face slightly brushing the wound on my head causing me to winch.
Seeing this they turned away and took a small white cloth and set it on my head. Keeping their hand against, I felt it soothe the aching in my head. I felt a calm rush over me, my eyes following them as they moved to look at my other injuries. As they wiped them clean I jumped slightly, my body tensing up. Even with the warmth's voice echoing forth, my body tensing up as the close proximity cut into my ears. Seeing this, they stopped to gently brush my head followed by something I hadn't heard in forever, humming. It was a soft tune that went about easing my tense nerves. It was like the tune soaked into my nerves to ease the tension, making my body calm back down. As I slowly laid back down, the warmth moved me to their lap, the back of my head being met with warmth. Continuing humming, they went back to cleaning my wounds, their warmth that was soaking into my head cutting away any of the pain that was once there. Trying to blink back tears I took in the busy eyes of the warmth, my vision no longer blurry. As my very soul was soothed, I felt my consciousness fade all the while taking in the soft tune and the warmth's face with a sharply pointed nose. Then those eyes that were diligently working suddenly stared straight at me, their sparkling turquoise and green being the last thing I saw as my consciousness faded into black.
