Spo0nGuy: Yes, but Jaune won't be Joseph, it might be Yang while but once I do go to Stardust Crusaders, I could change it to either Ozpin or Ironwood. Next fight I'm planning would be Joseph vs Wamuu (Yang vs Mercury).
Batman1998: Ho, ho! That is part of my bucket list!
Indigo One: I'll do it once I continue the series. Maybe I can go through Black Ops in the future.
King-Of-Gods: Haven't played FFXV yet but I'll see what I can do.
Chapter 6: Fall of an Order
Inspiration: Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
"And that ends our screening to that universe", Flit announced as the audience sat in silence of what they had witnessed. The sight of their alternate world being consumed by war had struck them internally, thinking if this was actually a possible future that could happen. Ghira was starting to regret leaving the White Fang to people like Sienna Khan, seeing that she will only lead the Faunus race and Menagerie to ruin.
Ironwood looked down in deep thought, remembering all the conflicts he had partaken and the images shown to him served as a reminder of the darkest days. Winter grimaced at the scenes, thinking that it is very possible for her to experience this reality, and heavens forbid that her family would be involved in this.
Salem and Cinder were impressed at the tactics that the Menagerie soldiers used to instill fear in Vale, and the Dark Lady was inwardly smiling at this reality at seeing Beacon and Vale in ruins, something she still plotting at the present time.
Raven remained silent at her and Taiyang's portrayal at being soldiers serving in the battlefield. As much as she wanted to spat out whatever insult to those who died in the field, she could not find herself to do so, seeing how they fought for their country, which mirrors on how she fought for the Branwen Tribe. And she could not help but respect their conviction in protecting their people.
Summer and Qrow had thought that this timeline was much darker than the other timeline when the two were soldiers themselves.
"Mr. Flit, may we request of another screening, but preferrably in another timeline?", Blake spoke at their behalf, wanting to forget the atrocities that her Faunus brethren had committed at the alternate reality, with her parents and the rest of her team having a similar thought.
"Of course, but I need to take a break at the moment first", Flit said as he heard Yang, Ruby and Nora groan. Smiling, he continued, "Don't worry, I have someone else to take my place and explain things to you. And she is about to come right...now", Flit said as he looked at his watch.
Suddenly, someone appeared in a swirl of silver wind. From the first sight, she appeared to be on her 20s. She wears a white, sleeveless outfit with a skirt end that has a slit down the side. She also wears tight black stockings on her legs starting just above the knee and white boots and wears black arm warmers. She has long jet-black hair tied up in a ponytail and has lime-green eyes and a sizeable bust. (Her appearance is similar to Soul-Eater's Tsubaki but ponytail is broader).
Most of the women suddenly felt a pang of jealousy at the woman's appearance, with Yang's eyes turning red and Phyrra's eye twitching at Jaune staring at her. Most males also couldn't help but be attracted to her, even Qrow widened his eyes at the sight.
"Hey, Flit. You asked for this?", the woman called out, pointing at Flit as she held a remote on her right hand before she noticed his 'guests'. "Who are these guys?", she asked him.
"People I chose to view alternate versions of themselves. And I hope that won't be a bother, Aeralyn", Flit said to the woman now identified as Aeralyn.
The woman gave a gracious smile, "It never does, Flit. Mind if I view here with you?", she asked as the man smiled back.
"I could but I gonna need to stretch first .", Flit affirmed to the woman before turning to the audience to introduce her. "This is Aeralyn, she is also an observer of realities as I am. But at this time, she is going to take my place at viewings"
"Hey, Aeralyn!", Ruby greeted her with a wave, a gesture that the woman returned.
"Hello, little Ruby.", she greeted back.
"Anyways Aeralyn, can I trust this one to you? Just for a few screenings, you can use the remote but make sure not to break it.", Flit asked her as she only chuckled in response.
"Of course, Flit. Just don't get a swell head over it okay?", she said to him as Flit only waved her off.
"Whatever you say, 'Lyn", Flit replied with chuckle as he took a seat close to the audience.
"So what universe are we going to watch?", Yang asked the woman, curious what she had in store for them.
"Oh, you'll see soon enough.", Aeralyn replied as she pressed a button at the remote and the screen flashed white before them once more.
The screen shows a ship headed to what seemed to be a volcanic planet and it shows Summer Rose piloting it as she entered its atmosphere.
"Is mom going to land at the sun?", Ruby asked worriedly but Aeralyn laughed a little at this implication.
"No, Ruby. That planet is called Mustafar, it is naturally a volcanic planet where its lava and minerals were vital to the Seperatists in supplying their war effort", Aeralyn explained to her.
"There is a war?", Winter inquired.
Aeralyn nodded as she turned to explain. "Yes of two sides. One is the Galactic Republic and the other side is the Confederacy of Independent Systems, or CIS for short. These two have what it seemed to be a civil war as the CIS was formed when several worlds decided to break away from the Republic, who they believe is threatening their livelihoods and their interests. And that escalated to a war that spread across numerous worlds and eventually the galaxy itself", she explained as the audience were in shock of what she just said.
Ironwood and Ozpin frowned at the subject of war, having seen the previous universe as an example of this, but a war that spread through different worlds is even worse.
Salem and Cinder were curious at how this universe seemed to have an intergalactic war, wanting to see how it all started firsthand and how much destruction has it caused.
"Also two sides have fought on the opposite. On one side is the Jedi Order, a group dedicated in maintaining peace and justice within the Republic, and another side, who are called the Sith, sided with the CIS. But these two groups are more than that. These two wielded the powers of the Force."
"The Force?", Jaune asked, the others wondering what it meant to this world.
"The Force is a mysterious energy field created by life that binds the galaxy together. And by extension, it chooses the people who should have these powers. The Light Side of the force is that of the Jedi, focusing their inner peace while severing any attachments as they commit their lives to the force. On the other, the Sith harnesses the power of the Dark Side, using their anger and their hate to gain power for their goals while battling the Jedi.", Aeralyn explained as the others became intruiged at this explanation.
Both Salem and Ozpin wondered if such power exists in their world, and it bears many similarities to that of the Gods of Darkness and Light, and by extension, Salem and Ozpin themselves.
"Back to this scene, fortunately, this war had ended already by the murder of the Seperatist Leaders at this planet here", Aeralyn explained pointing at the screen, "And you'll see who is responsible for it"
Summer was getting off of the ship, she was at the base of a volcano where there used to be a Seperatist base. She received a transmission saying that Taiyang would be here. Sure enough, she saw him coming out of the tower to come and see her. Taiyang wore what seemed to black robes with black tunic, pants, boots as well as a bind on his waist where a metallic cynlinder-like object is attached to it
"Taiyang!" She said as they ran up and embraced at one another.
"Oh my!" Summer said as she was surprised at the sudden affection. Ruby and Yang smiled at this reunion. Taiyang slightly blushed at this as he didn't really want anyone to see the two of them being affectionate on the big screen.
"Did dad end the war here?", Ruby asked Aeralyn who sadly nodded. "What's wrong?", Ruby asked, noticing her emotions and Yang knew something was off.
"Just watch."
"Taiyang...Thank god you're alright." She said as she embraced him before she turned to face him with a worried expression.
"What are you doing out here?" He asked, surprised by her sudden appearance all of a sudden.
"I was so worried about you...Qrow, he told me terrible things." She said as Taiyang looked confused on what she had said to him.
"What things?" He narrowed his eyes at her, not liking where this is going.
"He told me...that you turned to the Dark Side." She said as Taiyang looked down.
"Dad's a bad guy here?!", Yang asked Aeralyn as Ruby had a similar thought. Those who knew Taiyang, know that the man isn't evil at heart and that he had been the determined one who has done good before Raven and later Summer left.
"No, not by choice though", Aeralyn said to her. "He is trained to be a Jedi Knight, and was among the Republic and the Jedi's greatest warriors. But fate was not kind to him."
"What do you mean, Ms. Aeralyn?", Summer asked her.
"After he and Qrow emerged victorious over Countess Cinder at this universe, Taiyang suffered nightmares that showed him his wife's death, where he began to fear losing her. Chancellor Willow Schnee saw this, and she appointed him as her personal representative of the Jedi Council but he was denied the rank of Master by Jedi Master Leonardo Lionheart, which caused him to resent the Jedi Order to which Schnee offered him power, and she revealed herself to be Salem, also known as Darth Sidious, Dark Lady of the Sith to which she continued to manipulate him until Taiyang became desperate to the point that he killed Lionheart just as he was going to kill Salem in order to gain the knowledge to save Summer from death, having lost his mother three years prior. With that, Taiyang pledged himself to her teachings, to which she dubbed him as Darth Vader", Aeralyn finished the audience were in shock of what happened to him at this universe.
"Dad would never do that! He would never side with someone who is clearly evil!", Ruby protested with a glare.
"Taiyang may be too light-hearted but he will never sell his soul to someone like her", Raven also protested, surprising those who knew her.
"Ruby, at she said, your father went through a lot at this universe, and he would do anything to protect his wife at all costs. To say that he's desperate may be an understatement, but please remember that this is an alternate reality, and your father is still here", Weiss told her teammate as she calmed down and went back to her seat, apologizing for her outburst.
Salem was impressed at her portrayal here, being able to pull the strings with outmost efficiency, while Ozpin frowned at this, always seeing Taiyang as a passionate man and to use his emotions to her advantage was a disgust.
"That you...killed Younglings." She said as Taiyang sighed at this.
"Okay now that has gone too far!", Summer protested.
"Mr. Xiao-Long, killed children?", Ironwood gasped, seeing that as being worse than any other war crime he had witnessed.
Cinder remained silent. Though she agreed that their enemies must be eliminated to fulfill their goals, killing children was too extreme, even Mercury and Emerald felt the same at this.
"Qrow is trying to turn you against me." He stated simply to her.
"He cares about us." She replied, hoping for him to understand.
"What relationship does Qrow and Taiyang have?", Glynda asked the woman.
"Qrow is Taiyang's master, where he taught him the ways of the Jedi in order to honor his own master's wishes, who believed that Taiyang is the Chosen One, who is destined to destroy the Sith and bring balance to the Force", Aeralyn explained to them but the audience here knew that it wouldn't happen, as Taiyang had become a Sith here.
"Us?" He asked her.
"He knows...about our child..." She said as Taiyang looked away. "He wants to help us! Taiyang..all I want is your love..."
"Love won't save you Summer! Only my new found power can!" He said with conviction to her.
"Harsh words but I mostly agree", Cinder commented.
"What are they talking about? Why do I need to be saved?" Summer asked not sure of what was going on.
"Wait a minute...Mrs. Rose is pregnant!" Blake said as she noticed her belly.
"Looks like we're not in this universe yet, Ruby", Yang said to Ruby.
"At what cost?! You're a good person! Don't do this!" She said as Taiyang was becoming a bit angry at this.
"I won't lose you the way I lost my mother, the way I lost my family.." He said in a sad tone.
"Mama's boy", Mercury commented as numerous angry glares were directed at him.
"I am becoming more powerful than any Jedi has ever been, and I am doing it all for you, to protect you." Taiyang said as Summer was a little worried.
"Just come with me! Help me raise our child! Away from all of this!" She said worried about their future.
"Don't you see? We don't have to run away anymore! I have brought peace to the Galaxy! I'm more powerful than the Chancellor! I can overthrow her!" Taiyang tried to explain to her.
"As if that's happening", Salem said to Taiyang's alternate self.
"Apparently, the Sith have the tradition in overthrowing their masters in order to take their place", Aeralyn explained.
"And together we ran rule this Galaxy! Make things how we want them to be!" He said as Summer backed away.
"I...I don't believe what I'm hearing! Qrow was right! You have changed!" She said as she was shocked she was hearing this.
"I don't want to hear another word about Qrow." Taiyang warned to Summer.
"I don't know who you are..." She said. "Taiyang...You're going down a path I can't follow!" She yelled as Taiyang noticed something in her ship.
"Because of Qrow?" He said with a lost look on his face.
"Is Qrow a womanizer in this universe?", Winter asked Aeralyn.
"Oh for the love of god, no. Not that type of man in this universe, Ms. Schnee", Aeralyn replied as said man sighed.
"Because of what you've done! Stop now! Come back! I love you!" She yelled with tears in her eyes but Taiyang's eyes now glared at her with his fury.
"LIAR!" He screamed in anger at her.
"What? What happened?" Yang asked not knowing why he suddenly got so angry.
"Dad...did he really kill those Jedi?" Ruby asked in fear.
"No, something else must have happened!" Yang protested, not wanting to accept the truth.
"But...what if he did?" Jaune asked the question no one wanted to hear.
Sunmer turned around and her blood ran cold. Qrow was on the ship. He must have been hiding in the cargo bay. She now knew Taiyang thought she was betraying him. Qrow walked slowly down the steps of her ship as Taiyang's rage was growing.
"YOU'RE WITH HIM! YOU BROUGHT HIM HERE TO KILL ME!" He roared in anger.
"No! Taiyang I didn-" She was cut off as she saw him hold out his hand.
Taiyang used the Force to choke the life out of her, not hearing her inaudible pleas to let go.
"LET HER GO TAIYANG!" Qrow yelled in a rare moment of anger.
Taiyang just continued to exert his power over this act. His anger blinding him to what he was doing. His eyes flashing a crimson-yellow color.
"LET HER GO!" He yelled as Taiyang finally let up and Summer collapsed to the ground.
"Oh my god." Glynda said covering her mouth, at the sight of Taiyang murdering his wife, and by extension, her student Ruby Rose.
"He..He killled Summer." Raven said, her hand trembling at the sight..
"He killed his own wife." Ironwood said, a bit disgusted at this act.
"He killed his own child." Ozpin said feeling his blood boil towards Salem, who used his rage to do the unthinkable.
Ruby was now crying at the sight of her father murdering her own mother, and she was embraced by Yang, who shed tears at the sight. The two had dreamed of a complete family, but it was crushed at the sight of this.
Both Flit and Aeralyn lowered their heads, not liking this universe one bit.
"YOU TURNED HER AGAINST ME!" Taiyang yelled, the power of the Dark Side flowing through him.
"You have done that yourself." Qrow shot back as he got off the ship.
"You will not take her from me!" Taiyang shouted back pulling down his robes to reveal a black combat uniform.
"Your anger and lust for power have already done that!" Qrow pointed out wondering if a fragment of his friend was still in there.
"You have allowed this Dark lady to twist your mind, until now...you have become the very thing you swore to destroy." He lamented feeling sorry for him on far he had fallen.
Qrow crushed his flask at seeing this, not wanting to imagine Taiyang becoming a monster for Salem.
"Do not lecture me Qrow! I have seen through the lies of the Jedi! I don't fear the Dark Side as you do! I have brought peace! Freedom! Justice! And security to my new Empire!" He declared as Qrow checked Summer's vitals.
She still had a pulse, she was still alive. He breathed a sigh of relief.
"Your new empire?" Qrow questioned wondering what insanity this was.
"Don't make me kill you." Taiyang said his face shifting into a face of rage as he had his back turned to Qrow.
"Taiyang! My allegiance is to the Republic! To Democracy!" he shouted to Taiyang, who only gave an angered sigh..
"If you're not with me...then you're my enemy!" He said as Qrow was shocked, but looked down as he knew how far had his apprentice had fallen.
"Only a Sith deals in absolutes. I will do what I must." He said as he pulled out his lightsaber.
"Oh Oum, please no...", Summer and Yang pleaded, not wanting to see them fight. Raven felt the same way, not wanting her brother and her spouse murdering one another.
Taiyang's reply was an evil chuckle a he pulled out his lightsaber. "You will try." He said as flipped over to where Qrow was and the battle began where the two ignited their lightsabers, releasing a saphire blade as the two trade blows.
"Of all the things that could have happened." Glynda said as she didn't want to see those two fight.
"At least Mrs. Rose is still alive." Nora said with relief.
"But Uncle Qrow and Dad are going to fight." Ruby said as she didnt' want to see that. She was awed at the blade, but she couldn't speak so much about it due to the current situation.
Taiyang attacked with his blade, with Qrow getting a few shots here and there with his lightsaber. But for the most part he was on the defensive. He had to rely entirely on his Form III Soresu battle style that relied on defense than offense. Luckily he always kept those skills highly refined.
Cinder and Glynda were impressed at Qrow's battle style, on how he relied on defense before waiting for a clear chance for a counterattack.
Taiyang however had had numerous amounts of combat training, his powers amplifying his fighting styles, his favorite being the Form V Shien battle style, where he focused on parrying attacks before launching with strong counterattacks and ripostes. His battle style is highly effective on most duels he had been, having used this skill to kill Countess Cinder, who was the Sith Lord Darth Tynanica.
The volcano they were in served as a horrible stage to fight on due to the fact at any moment they could fall into the lava. Taiyang slashed multiple times as Qrow was parrying the blows with the blades with lightsaber.
"Taiyang is much more skilled than he is now." Raven said as she knew he couldn't fight like that.
"He's matching Qrow, whatever kind of training he had really paid off." Glynda said as she knew Taiyang was not to be taken lightly.
Qrow attempted to flip over Taiyang, but the Sith Lord immediately jumped up and kicked him to thr ground. He went for a killing blow to Qrow's neck, but the Jedi Master rolled out of the way in time and managed to dodge what would have been a fatal blow. Jumping back up to his feet, he landed a kick to Taiyang's face. But it did little to call off his friend.
Taiyang's rage exploded. He went back on the offensive again and forced Qrow into the control room of the Seperatist Headquarters where bodies of CIS leaders laid there from Taiyang's earlier slaughter. The tighter quarters gave Qrow the advantage as his defense would not leave Taiyang options of attack. But Taiyang was no pushover as he continued punishing blows to Qrow.
However, Qrow matched and parried every single one. Taiyang may have been stronger, but Qrow was still fast enough to parry and counter. But once again, Taiyant was no slouch on speed, he could see them coming, and he chose to dodge rather than try to move his weapon out of the way. He knew that his weapon required more leverage and was not as fast as Qrow's. So he had to find ways to compensate for his lack of speed at the time.
Qrow went for a blow, but Taiyang blocked his hand and grabbed Qrow by the throat.
"Ughh..." Qrow was choking as Taiyang was pushing his lightsaber closer to closer to Qrow's neck.
He was determined to finish him off now.
"GET OUT OF THERE!" Summer panicked for Qrow.
"I just don't want them to fight..." Ruby sniffled said as she didn't like seeing her father and her uncle fight.
Even when it was clear one of them had gone down a dark path.
Qrow, Ozpin and Glynda had seen this happen before, someone going down a dark path that they couldn't follow. For Qrow it was his sister, for Ozpin, he had seen countless students go down the wrong path, and for Glynda, well before James cooled off, he went down a dark path. It was not a pretty sight.
Qrow responded by kicking Taiyang in the back, which distracted him enough to get his hand off of Qrow's throat. Qrow then kicked away Taiyang's lightsber and was prepared to finish him off but the Force, he reached out for his lightsaber, and it came right to his hand. Allowing him to fend off what would have been a deadly blow.
He used both of his feet to kick Qrow in the chest, as he did a jump flip to get back on his feet.
Taiyang and Qrow went back to the dance of blades as Qrow forced Taiyang onto one of the control panels. He brought one of his weapons down, only for Taiyang to roll out of the way, and for Qrow to hit the control panel. An alarm went off as Qrow pulled out and attacked Taiyang again.
"What was that alarm?" Glynda asked as she did not have a good feeling about this.
"I don't know, but it couldn't have been good." Ironwood said as he continued to watch Qrow and Taiyang fight.
Qrow fled out of the control room, he needed more space, and he didn't want to risk damaging anything in the base that could potentially lead to their destruction. Who knows what that control panel was for.
Taiyang and Qrow were now fighting on a bridge overlooking the volcanic crater. Blades were flying as the two tried to outmatch the other. But it would appear they were evenly matched.
Qrow and Taiyang both let out a battle cry as the two continued to lock blades.
Taiyang overcame Qrow and managed to push onto the offensive again. And that is where he kicked Qrow off the platform into the Lava below.
"NNNOOOOO!" Ruby yelled as Yang held her tight.
"I'm sure I'm fine kid." Qrow said as he was unsure.
Taiyang looked over the edge, only to see that Qrow was standing on a piece of hovering metal in the river of lava. He grimaced as he jumped down to join him on that platform. And the battle began again.
"This has gone to a whole new level", Ozpin muttered.
"Will they go this far?", Summer nervously stated.
This time, neither of them could afford to give the other one any ground. If they did, they would surely fall into the lava below. The two clashed again and again, neither one budhing an inch. Finally, Qrow saw an oppurtunity, and when Taiyang was a little too slow on the draw, he landed a Forced Pushed on his chest that launched him backwards. Qrow felt victorious but also frightened that he would have to kill his friend. But as it turned out, Taiyang landed on another platform.
"I have failed you Taiyang...I have failed you." Qrow said with regret, feeling guilty that he failed to stop his fall to the Dark Side.
"I should have known the Jedi were plotting on taking over!" He yelled in anger.
"TAIYANG! Chancellor Schnee is evil!" He yelled in anger at his friend.
"From my point of view, the Jedi are evil!." He spat back at Qrow.
"Well, then you are lost!" he resent as the battle resumed once more.
"Why would Mr. Xiao-Long think the Jedi were planning to take over the Republic?" Weiss asked as Ozpin spoke up.
"When you have any group that is powerful and has abilities no normal human can stand against, it only takes someone from a different point of view to convince you to switch sides, that appears to be what happened to Mr. Xiao-Long. Twisted by a different ideological was of thinking." He said as everyone accepted that answer.
"But it seemed like he was also doing it to help mom, remember what he said? He said he wouldn't lose her like he lost his mother." Ruby said as everyone remembered that.
"Yeah, what was that about?" Roman asked as he was now curious.
They were moving so fast, any normal human would have seen blurs. It was good both had been trained by Jedi Grand Master Ozpin and Jedi Battle Master Bartholomew Oobleck. Although Taiyang had fallen into darkness, and Qrow was really starting to wish he hadn't been trained by the same man. Since both were having a difficult time trying to gain the upper hand.
"This is the end for you, my master." Taiyang said with a glare as he forced Qrow off the platform.
Thinking quick, Qrow saw a hunk of volcanic rock, he used his the force to propel him towards the rock. Luckily he landed on his kees, but he immediately stood back up as he saw Taiyang was still on the platform below.
"It's over Taiyang! I have the high ground!" He said hoping that would persuade his old friend to stop.
Both Aeralyn and Flit snickered at this statement, confusing everyone present. "We're sorry, it's just that we remembered something"
"You underestimate my power!" Taiyang arrogantly declared with a glare.
Qrow gave him a look, begging him to stop. "Don't try it." He was BEGGING Taiyang not jump.
"Please dad, don't do it!" Yang yelled, knowing how this scene would not go well for him
"JUST STOP FIGHTING!" Ruby pleaded with teary eyes.
"You don't need to fight each other!" Summer shouted, as she hated seeing her best friend and her spouse fight.
"Just stop the senseless violence!" Glynda protested, as she was getting sick of this as did Ironwood.
Taiyang lept into the air, doing a flip, hoping to land behind Qrow and stab him from behind but Qrow swung his weapon into the fallen Jedi, his blade cut through Taiyang's legs and his only remaining natural arm.
"AAGGGHHH!" Taiyang screamed as he rolled down to the bottom of the volcanic rock he was on. Just barely staying out of the lava.
"No." Summer said as she couldn't believe what had happened.
"Oh oum." Even Cinder was having a hard time watching.
"Why? Why did this happen?" Jaune asked as he couldn't believe what he was seeing.
"What will happen now?" Blake asked as she had been pretty quiet.
Qrow deactivated his weapon as he looked down at Taiyang. His old friend was looking back up at him. But his blue eyes that used to hold so much warmth were no longer there. Instead, they were now crimson-yellow color. His friend truly had fallen to the Dark Side.
"YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE" Qrow yelled at his apprentice, as he saw Taiyang was still trying to crawl up to him.
"You were suppose to destroy the Sith! Not join them!" He yelled as Taiyang continued to struggle. "Bring balance to the Force! Not leave it in darkness!" He screamed in pain as he looked on the ground next to him.
"I HATE YOU!" Taiyang yelled as they saw his eyes glow with rage.
"You were my brother Tai...I loved you..." Qrow said in pain as Taiyang's face took on a softer appearance.
Only for the lava to catch on his clothing and set him ablaze.
"AAAGGGGGHHHHH!" He screamed in pain as the fire started to spread.
"Oh my god, no!" Ruby said as she turned away and hid her face in Yang's chest, with her eyes shedding tears at the sight of their father being burned alive.
Summer was crying, but she was unable to look away from the screen as Taiyang burned, her mouth being covered by her hands.
The rest of the audience watched in despair of the unfortunate fate that befell on the man.
Ozpin had broken his coffee cup by gripping it so tight. His hatred for Salem growing even bigger.
Qrow grabbed his lightsaber and left. Knowing that Taiyang would die from his wounds. He picked up Summer, and brought her to the ship. Determined to get her to a Medical Bay.
The room changed to a hospital room.
"I'm sorry, but theres not much we can do..." A medical droid said as Qrow looked confused.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"We don't know whats wrong, she seems to have lost the will to live." The droid said as she looked at the doctors.
"But we are hopeful we can save the children. Both girls." He said as he went back inside.
Qrow couldn't believe this, first Taiyang, and now Sunmer was going to die? And leave her child behind.
"No! I won't leave my child all alone! Don't let me do that!" Summer never wanted to expose a child to that.
Qrow ran into the room, he saw Summer's daughters, both bore a striking resemblance to Taiyang and herself, he looked away as he held Summer's hand.
"Qrow..." She said as Qrow leaned closer.
"Please...there is still good in him...there is...still..." She said as she stopped breathing.
"No...Not again." He said as he lost beloved two friends tonight.
"Oh god..." Nora said as Jaune and Ren let a few tears
"She still believed dad could be good.." Yang said as she looked at her mother.
"Could he?" Ruby asked.
"I...I don't know." Ozpin said.
Meanwhile back at Mustafar.
Taiyang was burnt to a crisp. The mechanical arm's glove been burned away. But he was determined not to die.
"There he is! He's still alive." Salem said as she arrived.
"Get him onto a medical bay immediately!" She said as her Shock Troopers nodded
"So thats Salem." Ruby said as she glared at the witch.
"Now we know who to hunt for." Yang said as she wanted to take this bitch down.
"Together." Blake said as she was not going to run away from this.
"We will break her." Nora said as she was truly angry this time.
The scene changed to Taiyang being placed in a suit, he had prosthetic limbs attached to replace his missing ones. Unfortunately the inhalation of all the smoke and ash had done irreparable damage to his lungs. Causing him to need a respirator to breath.
The final touch was sealing his scarred face in a black helmet that bore resemblance to a samurai helmet, and a black skull.
They heard a slight whine as the helmet attached itself to the armor. That breathing sound send shivers down their spines. For some reason, it sounded familiar. But they didn't know where they had heard it before. But whatever it was, it was unsettling.
"Lord Vader...can you hear me?" Empress Salem, also known as Darth Sidious, as Taiyang now stood before her. He continued to breath as he moved his head a bit.
"Yes, my Lady." His voice was now deeper and more intimidating
"Where is Summer?" He asked as Salem took a step back in fear. "Is she safe?" He asked in a worried tone.
"He...He doesn't remember does he?" Glynda asked remembering how it was Taiyang who had hurt Summer.
"His anger must have clouded his judgement." Ironwood suggested.
"Combined with the power of the Dark Side, he most likely didn't realize what he was doing." Aeralyn said as Qrow was glad he had a drink for this.
"It seems in your anger, you killed her." Salem said hiding her grin.
"I...I couldn't have...SHE WAS ALIVE! I FELT IT!" He said as his power reached out.
The machines that had given him life were now being crushed underneath his power, a several testing tubes broke open.
He broke free of his restraints, taking a few steps forward. Looking down at his new limbs, horrified as to what he had become.
"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!", Taiyang screamed in sorrow, having lost everything he had loved dearly. Most importantly, his wife and child.
The next scene then showed Qrow entrusting Yang to James Organa and his wife, while he entrusted Ruby to a couple of Moisture farmers. He watched from a distance as his voice narrated a warning."This is Master Qrow Branwen. I regret to report that both our Jedi Order and the Republic have fallen, with the dark shadow of the Empire rising to take their place. This message is a warning and a reminder for any surviving Jedi: trust in the Force. Donotreturn to the Temple. That time has passed, and our future is uncertain.Avoid Coruscant. Avoid detection.
