Chapter 4: Magix

Previously:

The witches left to get ready for the upcoming ball.

"What do I wear, oh what do I wear?!"

"You literally have like 20 dresses… can't you just wear one of those?"

"But Bloooooom!"

"...Fine. We can go to Magix to buy a new dress. Let me just call the rest of the Winx here."

Stella grinned triumphantly at her friend, who was now dialing the rest of their friends on her new phone.

"Hey, Flo, Tec, Muse. I gotta favour to ask. Can y'all come to Magix with us? Stella wants a new dress and apparently I can't wear jeans to a ball… mhm… yea… unfortunately… alright… okay, see you in five… bye."

Bloom sighed and snapped the phone shut. Stella looked at her expectantly. "Yea yea, we're going to Magix. We have five minutes to be there."

Stella smiled, clapping her hands together once. "Let's go then!"

She used her staff to create a portal to Magix. They both stepped through, going straight out the other side, Stella using her ring to close the portal behind her. They landed in front of a cafeteria, where their friends were waiting. Surprisingly, the specialists Bloom and Stella had met, along with another, were there as well.

Bloom's eyes widened for a split second before they went back to normal. She cleared her throat. "Hey Muse, Tec, Flo. Hi boys." She nodded to them in greeting, with her arms crossed across her chest. She gave a small smile in their direction.

Stella, however, was much more energetic. "Muse! Tec, Flo! Hey boys! Hi Sky!" She giggled and gave them a large smile. Bloom just sighed at her friend's bubbly attitude.

"Alright. Stella wants another dress. And apparently I'm not allowed to wear jeans and a t-shirt to a ball, so I have to buy one too." Bloom sighed again. "Anyway, boys, you're welcome to join us. After we found a dress, we were going to a cafe either way. Also, who are you?"

She pointed at a boy wil long, pale, navy blue hair. He smiled a bit at her. "My name is Helia. I'm a specialist from Red Fountain, as you can see." He gestured to his uniform.

Bloom nodded, already walking off in the direction of the nearest dress shop. Stella bounced behind her, and the rest of the girls and boys followed.

They walked into the shop, and Stella immediately ran to the ball gowns, dragging 'Sky' along with her. Musa and Tecna went off to the casual wear, with 'Brandon' and Timmy following close behind. Flora and Helia went off to the casual dress section, leaving Bloom and Riven together.

"Hey Sparky," Riven said, turning to face Bloom. "We going anywhere anytime soon?"

Bloom sighed for what seemed like the umpteenth time that day. "Dunno grape boy, I've never been dress-shopping before, much less for a ball gown."

Riven looked at her skeptically. "Whaddya mean. You're a girl. Don't y'all wear dresses all the time or something?"

Bloom snorted. "Yea, and that's why I was bullied all my life. I don't like dresses. I wear jeans and a hoodie every day, unless I have to wear a uniform of some sort. I always go for functionality and comfort."

Riven gave a small chuckle. "First sensible girl I've met in a long, long time."

Bloom nodded. "Now let's get going. I'm guessing we're headed towards the ball gown section?"

Riven sighed, walking off in the direction Stella and 'Brandon' had gone, with Bloom right behind him.
