Today is the day! It's finally here, the day I go to Hogwarts! I'm gonna miss Dobby though, he is my favorite of the house elves Mr malfoy owns. Dobby came into my room after I had gotten changed and said Dobby will miss Christina Laurens. Dobby wishes Christina Laurens not to go to school this year. I looked at Dobby with teary eyes, please Dobby call me Christina and don't worry about me I will write to you all the chances I get. He smiled and said Dobby write to you too Christina and Dobby need not be worried Dobby will see again at Christmas. I gave Dobby a hug and went to Draco's room which not to my surprise he was still asleep. I laughed and said Draco get up and we go to Hogwarts today, with that he leapt out of bed startling me. He hugged me super tight and said get out so I can get dressed I will meet you at breakfast. I went out of his room in a little bit of shock because Draco never gets out of bed and hugs me but I shrugged it off and waited in my room for him to knock. When he did we both went down to meet Mrs. Malfoy. Who I saw made me so mad I could've turned the whole ocean to sand but I brushed it off, put on a smile, and said Auntie Bella. I looked at Draco who I could tell was fake smiling too. We both hugged her and said how did you get out of Azkaban? She said well I kind of just escaped but was stopping by here to tell you children good luck. We said thank you then went with Mrs and Mr Malfoy over to the chimney. We grabbed there hands and our luggage and they aspirated us to the parking lot of the train station. No one noticed we popped out of nowhere so we went inside. Mr Malfoy I said quietly, Our ticket says platform 9 34 but there are only platforms nine and ten where it should be. Draco laughed at me which got him hit with Mr Malfoy's wand. I hated when he did that to Draco, he said now love you see the wall in between nine and ten you just have to walk calmly into it and you will be on platform 9 34. I said ok sorta of nervous but just as I was about to go the Weasley's came up behind us I immediately said Hi Ron, that made him smile and then Draco and the Malfoys went through Mr. Malfoy asked me to come to him before the train left. After they stepped through Ron said that's who you live with I'm surprised you are so much nicer than he is. I laughed and said I know but there all I got and no matter how mean family is family. We both laughed as the boy I recognized as Harry Potter came behind us. He had heard Mrs. Weasley say so many muggles today she looked at her watch and said ok children time to go through. Harry asked if they could help him. She said of course dear it's Ron's first year too and I'm guessing his friends first year too. She looked at me and said do tell me your name. Christina Laurens I said pleasure to meet you again Mrs. Weasley. A curly haired weasley with a prefect badge went first. Ron whispered to me thats Percy. Mrs. Weasley then said alright Fred your turn. The twin she looked at looked confused. The boy beside him said he's not Fred, I am. The boy she had called Fred first said honestly woman you call yourself our mother. She looked at the boy she had called Fred first and said oh I'm sorry George before he ran through he said I'm only joking I am Fred. That made me laugh. He was quite charming. Next was Ron and I went and right after was Harry. They started boarding and I told Ron to save me and Draco a seat on the train. I ran up to Mr and Mrs. Malfoy who were standing with Crabbe and Goyle's parents. I smiled and said see you at christmas. They smiled back and said see you. Mr. Malfoy looked straight into my soul and said you make wise choices dear wouldn't want to be a disgrace to the loving family who took you in. I nodded and held back tears while getting on the train. Crabbe, Goyle, and Draco were sitting in a compartment already but it was fool so I said its alright Draco I'll sit with Ron and Harry. He gave me a hug and said ok Chrisi I'll see you there. I went to the back car and Ron, Harry, Fred, and George were all in an compatmet. Ron saved a seat next to him and the four of us talked and laughed for about an hour. Before a girl with poofy hair came into the car. Have you seen a toad? A boy named Nevilles lost one, she said. We all said no and she looked at Ron who had been trying
to turn his Rat yellow. Are you practicing magic? Ron shook his head. Well let's see it then. Ron cleared his throat and said sunshine daisies, buttermellow, turn this stupid fat rat yellow. Fred and George started laughing and Ron glared at them. Are you sure that's a real spell? Well it's not very good is it. I've only tried a few simple spells myself but they've all worked for me. For example she said walking over to hairy and sitting next to Fred. Oculus Repairo, she waved her wand and his broken glasses were fixed. Thats better isn't it. Holy Cricket you're Harry Potter I'm Hermione Granger and who are the rest of you. Ron spoke first with gummy hanging out of his mouth. I'm Ron Weasley, he said. She looked disgusted by the gummy hanging from his mouth and said pleasure. The twins said at the same time were Fred and George Weasley. I giggled and she said and who are you? I smiled and said I'm Christina Laurens. She smiled back and said You all better change into your robes. I expect we will be arriving soon, oh and do look out for a toad. She turned back looked at Ron and said you've got dirt on your nose did you know? He wiped his nose and looked over at me and Harry confused. I followed her out to change into my robes and said Hermione. She turned around and said yes. I smiled and said would you like to be friends. She smiled back and said absolutely I'd love too. I went and changed and when I got back the boys were all changed into their robes too. We talked and laughed some more until the train came to a stop. We got out and parted ways from the twins and met the tall man that I had seen at Madame Malkins. He said firs yers over here. I was standing next to Ron, Harry, and Hermione as we were walking down a path. Draco came up behind me and said hi sis. I jumped and said Draco what the heck you startled me. He laughed and said are you excited? Yes Draco very, how was the ride? Excellent, he said. Torture any children I said jokingly. He laughed loads, snogged one of the weasleys yet. I heard Ron chuckle. I punched him on the arm, Draco shut it. He laughed as we finished our conversation. We reached the lake soon after, four people to a boat I got in one with Ron, Harry, and Hermione. Hermione and I talked about all the books we wanted to read and spells we wanted to learn. Ron and Harry just laughed at us. When we got in the castle we met a woman dressed in black. Thank you Hagrid she said I will take it from here. Alright Professor Mcgonagal he said. He walked away and she said welcome first years you will be brought into the feast shortly after being sorted into your houses. I was talking with Ron, Harry, and Hermione when Draco came up to Harry. It's true then, what they're saying on the train, Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts. I rolled my eyes. How many times is he gonna torment my friends? This is Crabbe and Goyle, he said pointing to them. And I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy. He looked at me and winked. I rolled my eyes and then Ron laughed. He glared at Ron, think my names funny do you? No need to ask your's. Red hair and a hand me down robe must me a weasley. Ron looked at his feet. Leave him alone Draco I said. He looked back at Harry. You'll soon find out that some wizarding families are better than others potter. You don't wanna go making friends with the wrong sort. I grabbed Ron's hand to show that I was sorry about Draco and let go when Draco had looked back over. I can help you there said Draco, holding out his hand. He looked at Draco's hand and said I think I can tell the wrong sort for myself thanks. Just then Professor Mcgonagal came behind him and said follow me Draco got back in line. Just then a boy jumped out saying Treavor! I'm guessing that was Neville. As we walked down the hall towards the great hall I whispered to Ron don't listen to Draco, you're great. He said thanks Christina. I told him I would be right back and stood with Draco for a moment. I whispered to him what is wrong with you? He said what do you mean? You know what I mean, how long must you torment my friends? Friends I didn't know you were friends with a muggle born and a half blood. To top it off your friends with a weasley boy too, is that who you sat with on the train. I said yes and you are sounding just like your father. Good he said guess he was right you are gonna disappoint them. I stood there not believing he had said that fighting back tears. Really Draco if I'm such a disappointment then don't speak to me again. A tear rolled down my face and I saw Draco's eyes fill with tears. Chrisi wait he said as I walked away to stand with Ron again. By the time I got back to Ron I was crying. I could hear Draco crying a bit too but didn't say anything. Ron looked at me and grabbed my hand and whispered don't worry siblings fight but he will forgive you. I told him what Draco had said and he hugged me. Don't worry about it he doesn't think you're a disappointment he is just trying to look cool. Thank you I said, wiping my tears. He grabbed my hand again and said anytime we are friends after all. I laughed and stood looking into the great hall. In the front of the room there was a stool and a hat sitting on top of it. I looked at Ron wondering what it was who looked just as confused as I was. I then looked at Hermione and Harry who once again looked clueless. I looked back at Draco who I could see was still crying and not paying attention to what was in the great hall. He saw me looking back at him and came up to me pulling me away from Ron and the others. Still crying he said Chrisi I didn't mean what I said I was just mad that harry didn't want to be my friend. Please you're the only family I got who actually knows me and trusts. Me I hugged him and said always Draco no matter what we are always family. I love you Chrissi. I love you too Draco I said. I went back to stand next to Ron who once again heard the conversation. Told you he was just trying to look cool I smiled and looked back in the great hall. Professor Mcgonangal came in and said Come stand in a line I will call your name and then you will sit on the stool and be sorted into your houses everyone understand? We all nodded. This is it the day I find out if I'm like my father or my mother.
