A Family Returned
Time-line: Enroute from Hoth and to Bespin
Synopsis: after a chase through the reaches of space and reaching the asteroid belt, Darth Vader, turned Anakin Skywalker again. Convinces Han Solo and Leia Organa to stop, and tells them the truth, as they combine together and make contact with Luke Skywalker. In learning their mother is alive, they and Master Yoda decide to return to the fleet as he starts training the twins.
And they spend a year perfecting their new idea to stop the emperor, and as Anakin and Luke prepare for the final showdown, as they start preparing to gather every descendant of his past as they get ready for what the future holds now.
Warnings: this is going to be a what if version to The Empire Strikes Back if he managed to convince Leia and Han to trust him. And they and Luke are back in one piece now, as they get Lando involved and the truth comes out now. And the changes create a more promising future for all of them as they get ready to rebuild the Jedi Order once again.

Chapter 2: Reunions And Family Truths
"So he knocked you so far into a coma you might as well be dead, and he betrayed everything we stand for?" he asked and Anakin nodded to him. "Your mother was the reason, but he lost his mind when my girlfriend was killed when I was your age when I found you son." he told him and Luke nodded. "Darra." Yoda said sadly and Luke nodded in shock to that. "Who did it?" he asked and Anakin said it sternly as he looked at Yoda.
"My rival allowed the chance to graduate overwhelm his sense of duty here, but he's always on me to follow the code and he never did it himself." he said to Luke and he nodded sternly at the news. "Who else if we lost you, if you killed the accomplice in the war, after you tried it, before seeing what Ben meant when he told you that?" he asked and he said it. "Tru Veld, Ferus Olin is still alive." he said and Luke nodded sternly.
"Master, I just translated your remarks to the trio, but one last thing to do, I need to be fully human to take him out, and secondly, I'm taking Mace's place as second in command of the council." he said and Yoda nodded to the news. "Pleased and relieved I am that come back to me you have my apprentice, second chance we get, but on Dagobah we are, come to me you will." he said and Anakin nodded to the orders.
"Well you got me back Master, and I'm back, for good, I ran a paternity test on her before the boys came to get her, I know everything. But he lied to me, so rule one in new training never take what the Sith offer you, or you belong to them after that, and 2), control the trio. Or you could do more damage then necessary right now, case in point, it happened again, Nomi." he said and Yoda nodded sternly to him.
"Who was the target for this exactly, and connected to Darra, is it, as felt the blast when lost your temper and went into uncontrolled rage that day?" he asked and he sighed. "It was the tribe that killed mom by accident, but I understand everything you tell me, I got to teach the others to not fear the darkside, but never give in or we lose them next." he said and Yoda nodded in agreement to that as he answered him gently.
"Made mistake once with you, not making the same mistakes twice but talk when get here you do, and create new Jedi order we can, and return we will completely when destroy Sidious, we do now." Yoda said to him. "Master, under probation, my actions that night are not going unchecked, but there are a few places needed." he said and Yoda nodded. "True, but discuss when get here." he said and Anakin nodded to the orders.
"I told Leia the entire truth, I know Ferus is alive, and I'm going to arrest him and turn him over to Mon and the others." he told him and he nodded sternly. "Remember you should loss of anger can keep you trapped, calm you should stay." he said and Anakin nodded to him gently at that. "Last test to prove I'm back, I know, I understand, but I got a long year to prove I'm back for good now."
"Master we got to get you cloned, before I lose you next." he told him and Yoda nodded gently at the remark. "I understand padawan, time to come home now, but made drastic mistake, by not waiting for you to crack prophecy for Mace and I before he left now. Sentenced us to death by acting so quickly, if slowed it down, would have thought this through and split in half you would be." he said and Anakin nodded in agreement to that.
"Was he able to understand you that easily, it's taken close to three weeks to understand?" Luke asked and Yoda nodded. "Indeed, if raised and trained by me, then understand perfectly you do as listen with your heart you can and you do." Yoda said and he smiled gently at that. "He's right son, he raised me since I was 9, so I grew up understanding him at the time, not hard if you listen with your heart." he said and Luke nodded to him.
"At times my age group and their, that's your godfather's now, mimicked him, but that was our way of showing our love and adoration for him. We all love him and can't imagine not having there for us, as we grew up." Anakin added and he smiled gently as he saw the love and care in Yoda eyes at the remark. "Indeed and get you, my star pupil back once again, I'm relieved now, Anakin." he said to him gently at that remark then.
"Yeah and Vader lost his mind that night, I was waiting for Mace to do it, Vader decided he wanted him alive and that was the ending results. I never would have turned on you if there was no other choice, but you know this, I never would have turned at all if..." he said and Luke crossed his arms at the news. "If not for Ferus and Tru stabbing you in the back." Luke finished and Anakin nodded sternly at that remark then.
"I told this to Carl and Mon, let alone Jan, they're old friends of your mother and mine." he said and Luke nodded gently at that news. "Carl, as in Carlist Reeikan?" he asked and Anakin nodded to him. "Yeah he wanted me to call him by his nickname, but in truth, he's no older then your godmother, but we've been the best of friends since we were your age." he told him and Luke smiled softly at the news and reveal.
"Siri, your godmother is." Yoda said to clarify and Anakin nodded. "My sisters, brothers, our team quartet are the extended family, son, but Obi-wan is your godfather." he said and Luke looked at Obi-wan at that as he looked down with a smile on his face. "I never saw that coming, so this was why, and why nearly all of them are gone, but whoever Darra's parental mentor was?" he asked and Anakin nodded to him with a sigh.
"He's gone, but his grandson, is your adoptive big brother, son, as for Leia, she's your sister, but you're next in line for the family chair, I'm on the council, Yoda and Obi-wan told you the truth." he said and Luke nodded to the news gently. "Nejaa is still alive, as is Vima, Keiran, and several others, I'm rounding up the survivors of the purge and we're coming to get you." he said and they both nodded to the news.
"I got my side of the fleet, the two ships that found them on Hoth, but we're all going rogue." he said and Yoda nodded to him gently at that as he went further. "Ozzel is dead, but my admiral of my ship and the captain of the other went rogue and they're all returning to the GAR, so rounding up what's left of the order and the descendants, so we can start anew after this, but on my way."
"Right, we're on our way, see you in a couple days, my Master." he said and they nodded in relief. "I'm glad I got it from you, before I find out by accident." Luke said to Yoda and he nodded gently at that. "Indeed, but remember you should that the future, not set it is, no fate but what we make now." he said and Luke nodded to him gently at that. "Started you should at younger then current age." he added and Luke looked at him gently at that.
"What age did dad start then?" he asked and Yoda explained that to him. "Started at youngling preteen age." he said and Luke nodded in shock. "Your father teach you the one on one, but trained in basics we did till old enough to get chosen, and then taken over for one on one. From 13 to your current age another trained you, and next in line for family unit you are, but your team, Jinn/Kenobi/Skywalker team you belong to."
"Lost three of your team we have, you and your father, the next pair up, you are, but another 7 years now, you got, and make master at 32 you do." they heard another voice interject into the conversation as 12 more people appeared. "Half the council and the others dad's team quartet?" he asked and they all nodded. "And we all felt the blast, we never were more relieved he came back to us." a black man said to him and he nodded.
"Your father is going to get my grandson, like he said but I was like a father to him." another said to him and he nodded to him. "But everything he described to you is just what happened since then." the first said, before he could answer, he heard a voice say it. "My young champion, for the recovery of your family now, I am returning what was taken away from your and your father." the trio heard and he straightened.
"Return, can the force do this?" he asked and they nodded. "Looks like it, stand by." he heard as he locked gazes with a man the same age as his father and smiled in delight. "Uncle Owen, Aunt Beru?!" he asked and they both nodded as a man the same age as them stood behind them along with a woman his grandfather's age. "Grandma, grandpa?!" he asked and they both nodded, as they all solidified at that and he moved to them.
"Gods I missed you guys so much." he said and the man nodded as he looked into his eyes gently. "Your father read it right, the not gotten involved was really the arrest of Palpatine, before we lost him, as your only living relatives in the paternal side, you were safest with me." he said and Luke nodded. "Can't lose you and Aunt Beru twice." he said and Owen Lars nodded as he hugged him tightly at that as he buried his head into his shoulder.
"There's my little boy." he said and Luke looked down smiling and Owen smiled at him then. "This was why I was furious, I meant it where he was concerned, he knew your father sure, but his problem was not swallowing his pride, and if your mother survived this. I would have protected both of you at the time, before we got your father back and you did both now." he said to him gently at that and Luke nodded at the news then.
"You meant it that I'm too much like dad as a kid, but I never took up his added sports, though we live on the edge of the track?" he asked and they both nodded. "Yeah, but your father was suffering an emotional problem based on having to control his emotions so much we all grew up normal. But this is enough your father needed balance and they denied that balance till it destroys him." he said and he nodded in shock at that news.
"Said balance a family, a life outside of the order and like whoever was also like him, dad mentioned four others that had families, and they never changed." he said and they both nodded to him. "Yeah and they were what your father should have been and instead he hid his marriage to your mother and the lying destroys him after your father killed the mentor of the Jedi that found him." he said and Luke nodded as he felt his anger grow.
"So all this time I've been lied to right now, your's is based on a normal point of view, their's is a Jedi and your's makes more sense then everything Obi-wan told me so far. But dad, his matches up to your's completely, so the one in the wrong here happens to be the old order now, I understand. But Grandma, how close were you to dad?" he asked and she crossed her arms as she and Qui-Gon Jinn moved forward at that remark then.
"Close enough I know he would do anything to keep from losing me, but not one or other, your father and you can't live like this now. Said this choosing between us and your careers, you have to combine both together, or it's going to happen again, baby." she said and he nodded to her. "And everything he thought he was considering here, he had already, before he became a Jedi, so you decided if they never trained him."
"You were going to and he stayed who he was in combining both sides of himself, and stayed on my planet, to train him, if you survived this?" he asked and Qui-Gon nodded to him. "And before we were the ones that did your mother's protection as he never met the trio at all and he marries your mother." he said and Owen crossed his arms sternly. "If not for Darra, let alone his rivalry with Ferus...?" Beru started to say slowly and he nodded.
"So if he never met Darra, Tru and Ferus and he stays himself." he said and Qui-Gon nodded to him. "I would have trained him in the skill that enables Luke to see us, as he saves your mother and marries Padme, trains Luke and Leia in that skill and none of this would have happened. So basically, all of this is all on the council's heads, I wanted more, but I'm borderline Grey Jedi, completely human." he said and they all nodded sternly at that.
"Grey Jedi are all about being like you, they also carry every color aside from red, so they are completely like you, that's what he should have been. As I was close to retiring, as they never saw this coming till it was too late, but Damon, Thracia Cho Leem, Nejaa Halcyon and I were the ones, now. That were ready to go against the order and become part of the lost 20 as we become Grey Jedi, a family." he said and the Lars nodded sternly.
"I would have preferred you living close by as you trained my brother and his son." Beru said in response and he nodded gently to her. "And if you were on Tatooine, we could have prevented mom from getting taken as you and Anakin saved our mother, and dad never lost his leg." Owen said to him at that. "This is why I ready to say 'I told you so', to the council, I was right all along, but he should have been split in two." he said and they all nodded sternly.
"And instead he crashes, and all because they never changed that code when they had the chance." he snapped sternly and Qui-Gon nodded to him. "I loved your father like he was my own, but your godfather was close to the trials and I was ready to retire and continue training others. As I went Grey Jedi as everything you are is what your father should have been like Luke." he said and Luke nodded to the news sternly finally.
"So if you retired after Obi-wan destroyed the Sith that came to my planet, and tried to kill you?" he said slowly and he nodded. "Your father never had to repress his emotions when I met him at the time, he could understand everything I'm telling him, like you do. But your father when he was a youngling, he was like you in everything that counts he wanted more then being on Tatooine, but he never wanted to leave."
"As he never wanted to leave your grandmother." he said and Luke nodded. "I didn't want to leave my aunt and uncle, before I realized that Sidious attacked my farm and killed them. But that was it, my friends were with the alliance, and I had no connections left there, or maybe I did, and said was Aunt Amee and Uncle Kit?" he asked and Shmi nodded to him gently. "Your father's best friends." she said and he nodded as that did it finally.
"It's okay, but I never blamed your godfather, I blamed all of this on Sidious, your grandmother, your parents loss and even the fact that were it not for these two fools that I lost your father." Owen said to him and he nodded gently at that. "So what was the sad remark, she would have given me?" he asked and Beru crossed her arms. "That's your mother was broken hearted he turned." she said and he nodded in shock at that news.
"Vader lost his mind out of the power lust, but before he could put his plan into action, I, out penance for what happened in the temple. And I knew he would have wanted that, took the remaining limbs and he landed to close to the river, we were on Mustafar now. And after saying the sentence that committed the final act to keep him like that permanently, I forwarded Ahsoka's message to him." Obi-wan said and he nodded to the news in shock.
"Till I sounded like you in the shock of losing you right now, that's what woke him up, me, and your loss." he said and they all nodded. "Yep, that's what happened alright, you woke him up and my sacrifice was meant to bring him out of him, looks like after he ran the paternity test. He realized she was just like him, but your brother-in-law, that's going too far here." he said and Luke started shaking in laughter at that remark at that.
"To put this bluntly you, your sister and her boyfriend are your parents completely as they nearly gave us a coronary more then once." Mace said to him and he nodded to the news with a chuckle at that news. "You all loved my parents, that losing them both in one shot hit you hard." he said and they nodded to him. "I got the first signal he was back after he made it clear, but what was not said here here right now."
"What was going on, was all a plot to get your father to turn, from the very beginning, we just never put this all together, till it was too late." Owen said and he nodded. "Just meeting my parents and already you saw him as your brother and mom a sister?" he asked and they nodded. "Yeah and learning the truth though a farmer, I wish I had your powers, so I could get rid of Sidious myself and avenge them." he said and Luke nodded gently to him.
"Owen?" Obi-wan asked and he nodded. "Yeah, I accept the apologies, but we're not done yet, we got to get rid of Palpatine now, but you better take us home later, and the farm is getting some work done on it now." he said and Artoo Detoo beeped out a gentle remark. "I get that you little wiseacre, but you knew where you were, as the last time you came to me was 25 years prior." he said and Luke started laughing at that remark.
"So 25 years, that makes you guys 20 and three years in a war, and you were all 23 before dad turned?" he asked and he nodded to him. "Yes son that's it exactly, but your godfather, you remember what you and I talked about, I was trying to protect you from this?" he asked and Luke nodded. "The real problem is that as Jedi, you suppress your emotions till they come exploding out of you." he said and Luke nodded as he got it then.
"Temple raised, and your mother said this, though Jedi, you're like everyone else, and your father is prepared to change the code. So you're living normally and able to be open with your emotions, and I don't have to hear your father say this to know that son, but you're everything. That I wanted you to be, though a Jedi, you're still the man I raised now, I see it every way possible." Owen said softly and he nodded as he said it gently.
"Keep me normal, as I live like a normal person, Leia and I lived normal lives and nothing is wrong with us." he said and Beru nodded to him. "There you see, if you were raised if the code was changed, your father never would have turned to Sidious in the first place." she said and the council exchanged looks, as they never saw their actions looked at it like that as Qui-Gon crossed his arms as he knew this was about to get nasty.
"Qui-Gon you remember what we discussed, he was fine till he was uprooted, but did it matter that they said no?" Shmi asked him and he shook his head at that. "And I warned them there could be trouble if they don't change the code now, and he's suckered from right under their nose and into our enemy's hands, they never saw this coming till it was too late." he said and the Lars all nodded sternly at that remark as Bail Organa nodded.
"Hey buddy, been a long time." he said to Artoo and he beeped happily to him and he nodded gently. "Beep, boo beep." he said, nodding to Luke and he smiled gently. "Yeah, you love being with Luke, I understand that, good to be back with the son of your original owner?" he asked and he beeped a yes as Luke left his hand on his dome gently with a smile and Artoo leaned against his side in response happily and his aunt and uncle smiled.
"Beep, beep beep, oooooh, beep." Artoo said to that and the Skywalker/Lars clan nodded in agreement to that thought. "I never expected to see you again buddy, but was that Threepio?" Owen asked and he beeped a yes to him. "So Anakin finished him and he spent three years in gold, before coming back to me at our current age, let me guess, Bail erased his memories of me, so he didn't know me?" he asked and he beeped another affirmative.
"I'm not a kid anymore, but you knew who I was as the last time you saw me and Beru, was when we were no older then Luke." he said and Artoo beeped gently at that. "Your father came by to check on us when we were your age, before Mon, Bail and Carl yanked him, that's your godfather, out of retirement, and I knew we ran out of time, as Artoo did our unasked orders for us, by getting you out of range." Beru said to him and he nodded.
"And technically you were my parents all this time, I know at times you were strict, but you loved me, but what the Empire did, Leia, Chewie and Han were all I had since then, Tank and Biggs were killed in the Battle Of Yavin." he said to her and she nodded. "But still you right now, baby." she said running her hand through his hair and he nodded as he hugged them both tightly at that and Shmi and her husband smiled in relief.
"My real family, but she got the news first, before he forward it to me, before I found out by accident, grandma, grandfather, grandpa." he said and they all nodded gently to that news. "I was actually your mother's best friend." Bail told him and he nodded to him. "So what is the alliance really?" he asked and he explained that to him. "We're the Loyalist committee, at first we were against the war, till I realized it now."
"Palpatine was standing in front of us all this time, and triggered a hostile takeover, by the clones, but 3/4's of the storm troopers that were killed when you destroyed the Death Star were really clones, of Jango Fett, your Fett's father." he said and Luke nodded in shock to the news. "You weren't sure if you would ever get dad back, but when the time came, you sent for me?" he asked and Bail nodded to him gently at question then gently.
"You were our one chance, but looks like we had no need to deal with Vader, as he did it himself, but Sidious, that's another story. And something we need to touch on, before we have a further case of his holding onto his anger, it's serious, emotionally." he said and the quintet nodded in agreement. "Before we go over this, the status quo needs to be examined, as your godfather and the council, are responsible." Shmi said to him gently to at that.
"What are you saying?" Luke asked slowly and Cliegg crossed his arms. "In our time the Jedi raised a padawan from a few months into infancy to adulthood, but though a few visits home. This was basically segregating us from our children, to us and every parent of a force sensitive child, were it not for this, their children would still be alive, if grew up the way you did." he said and Luke crossed his arms as he answered him gently.
"So you only got one chance to see dad, and it was after grandma was taken and close to death?" he asked and the trio nodded to him. "Yes and we knew were it not for them not giving him a chance to see us before this happened, your father would still be himself." he said and the Lars nodded. "Yes that's just what I'm saying, but what he told you was half right, I never wanted to lose you too, after losing your parents and your grandmother.
"As you know your grandfather died when you were 7." he said and Luke nodded at the news. "Your grandmother and I were soulmates, so to us we were waiting for your father to come back and see us, your mother was going to get some food. And off the evaporators, halfway back she was taken by the sand people, and we went out after her, and half our group was slaughtered, before they took my leg as well."
"After that, it was a month later your father arrived and I told him everything and he went to get her, but arrived too late, and she died in his arms. I didn't know what happened, but based on that, I knew your father took his anger and pain at both your grandmother and the loss of his girlfriend. And out on the tribe that was close to the one that did you." His grandfather Cliegg Lars said and Luke nodded sternly as it all came together.
At the news. "So Darra, grandma, and whoever of his friends were killed in the opening of the Clone Wars?" he asked and the leader of the council in former ghosts nodded. "Exactly, but this was enough to tick us off and I made it clear to the man that caused his remission to come to an end, I had enough of this, he was already traumatized enough I wasn't having him lose it a second time, this time in front of us, it's a long story."
"Long story son, but somehow we found your father on your home planet, after realizing the power blast of his pain at the loss of your grandmother. It shot into us and we realized this time it was magnified 100x's this time and we knew the big one hit him." Jedi Master Mace Windu said to him and he nodded to the news as Obi-wan sighed in relief at the reveal now that he didn't have to explain everything to his student gently.
"Based on what my aunt and uncle told me, the ones that were really to blame for his loss was you, not Palpatine you guys." he said to the council and Obi-wan and they looked at him in shock. "Spend so much time on the code, did it ever occur to you, if you saw dad, 22 years ago, and he changed back sooner as he raised me. Me and my sister, the one in the wrong was you, as all you know is the Jedi code, and nothing about being normal."
"Listen to me all of you but did it ever occur to you that you triggered this by yourselves, dad is like me, I grew up in normal life. I never had to suppress those emotions now, are you telling me you were holding him hostage for 13 years, borderline personality disorder?" he asked and they swallowed hard, as the council and Obi-wan never saw their raising him put that way as Owen crossed his arms sternly as he answered that remark then firmly.
"Luke makes a good point you guys, did it ever occur to you that my brother, out of bursting out of this restraint, suffered several traumas. That he's not able to get over, you took him away from us, and when he gets a chance to see mom, he suffers an emotional outburst so severe. That he's left beyond traumatized ever since and instead of letting him take a few months sabbatical you continue with this till it destroys him."
"This is why I considered your kind the bad guy, were it not for your doing this and changing the code, my family: the Skywalker/Lars/Naberrie clan now. It would be intact and my brother would be like my nephew/son?" he asked and the human members of the council all paled at that. "I never wanted my son, Luke is my son, to have to live with suppressing his emotions till they come bursting out of him and destroy something."
"You wanted me to protect him and I did that, by giving him a normal life, he understands this, but though he lost his best friend, he stayed himself." he said Obi-wan swallowed hard at that. "Look at this from a normal mental healer's point of view, and look at what he was like as a child, before Qui-Gon was killed." Beru said to him and he swallowed hard at that. "Everything was fine till Darra died, you said?" she asked and he nodded to her.
"Well there you go, borderline personality." she said and he paled at that. "And you caused it to happen, so tell me why didn't you change the code when you had the chance, your choices. They all resulted in destroying my family, on my side of it, you think I want my baby girl in having a crash like her father did. You want redemption, time to face up to it now, all you, Obi-wan." Owen asked him and they nodded as they sighed and nodded.
"You're right, on all counts our arrogance destroyed us." he said and the Lars nodded. "Wait till Anakin tells this Leia, Lando and Han they're never going to trust a perfect Jedi ever again, but nobody is perfect, you need to understand this right now, but the families that left their kids with you. They blame you for this, for losing their children, because if you changed the code when you had the chance, none of this would have happened."
"We're only human for those who are human, he grew up with love, and kindness." Beru said and Owen finished that. "And my son and his sister are completely normal, nothing is wrong with them, they never repress their emotions and act like normal people. Sure they're stronger then others, that doesn't matter, living a normal life saves lives and your way destroys lives, think about that." he said and the council nodded with pained acceptance.
"Thank you for clarifying everything that Uncle Ben told me." Luke said and they all nodded. "But if we know anything it's this, but he never would have turned at all if my apprentice and his accomplice did as they were supposed to, baby." a woman a couple years younger then his godfather said and he nodded. "Aunt Siri?" he asked and she nodded smiling and he smiled as he hugged her and she tightened her arms around him.
"Your godparents were really his team pair up, and Soara and Ry were the other son, but the four of us made up your team quartet, if not for these two." Damon said to him and he nodded to him gently at the news. "Issues in this family I got a lot to learn clearly, but maybe you and dad could feel in the blanks, before I go to deal with Sidious myself?" he asked and they all nodded to the request at that remark as they smiled in relief then.
"Looks like the prophecy was never misread at all here right now, but he either had to turn or be split in two, and we leave a piece of him in Bespin. Just so Lando can fake it that he was killed when he came after me." he said and Mace smiled at his idea. "Dad gets split in two, we change him back and we got him for good and you guys fix things between, but everyone Vader killed returns." he said and they all nodded to him gently
"But everything your father told your sister, and us to you, is all correct, I made a fatal mistake that night that destroyed us." Mace said to him and he nodded to the news. "How long do we have before we lose you all again?" Luke asked feeling his heart sinking and the voice said it gently. "If you clone them all they all got another 100 years and 700 years in Masters Yoda and Yaddle cases." they heard and he nodded quickly as he got it then.
"So that's till my grand-kids are adults themselves in the human to humanoid cases, and 700 in your's, dad was right we can clone you, and we got you another 700 to 800 years." he said as he crouched in front of Yoda and he nodded softly. "We got the ages correct here, but your father is going on 46, I'm 62 and your godmother 60." Obi-wan said and he nodded in relief smiling gently at that as he looked at him gently.
"There was a 16 year age difference between you and dad?" he repeated and Obi-wan nodded. "That's why he considered me his father, but Vader blamed me for your grandmother, but Sidious killed your grandmother, Aunt and 70% of our quartet." he said and Luke nodded. "In other words the man and woman next to my grandparents is Lando's grandfather and my adopted great aunt?" he asked and the quartet nodded to him gently at that.
"Jedi Masters Damon Calrissian and Tiana Merrin." the man the same age as Mace said to him and he nodded smiling gently. "So you're Tru Veld?" Luke said, looking at a boy no older then his father then and the man nodded shaking and he nodded. "Well I have to agree with whatever dad and grandpa said, if you put your wants over the safety of the entire team, you don't deserve to carry that lightsaber, you shame that lightsaber."
"Hand it over, now." he said and the man quickly gave it to him. "You're coming with us, and you're being handed over to my leaders in the Alliance and Ferus with you starting now." he said and the man swallowed hard at that. "You never wanted us or the council to know your eyes change color, but as dad said, a Sith only thinks about themselves, a Jedi is selfless, we only care about others." he said and he swallowed hard as a woman his age nodded.
"Easy baby, I get you're furious, we can discuss this later, but your father got us all back and we got work to do, but everything your father would have said. And when training you, was really a test, but control your fear, and release your anger, only your hatred could destroy Vader and Sidious. So what is he really trying to say here right now?" a woman two years younger then Obi-wan said to him and he crossed his arms at that.
"Don't give into either or I could crash now." he said and they nodded. "And how about this, join me, and together we can rule the galaxy?" Mace asked and he nodded. "Don't give in, don't make my mistakes, this was the same test that you were with Dad for when Palpatine did the same thing." he said Mace nodded to him. "Yep, and just by that one observation, you passed both tests at once." Mace said smiling and he grinned at the news then.
"Well 3.5 years of training, you, Obi-wan, only got me started but you guys, I need more training clearly." he said and they smiled as he looked at him. "Your godfather only got you started, but what Master Yaddle told you was true here right now, every word of it was true. From 5 to 12 we take you through the basics and from 13 to your current age and up to 27, you got one on one with the master that chose you now."
"But you're the youngest generation of your team, but from Qui-Gon, to your godfather, your godfather to your father and now to you, your sister has your godmother now." he said and he smiled at the news gently at that. "She's good with a blaster, but time in training to use the lightsaber, it takes time and patience, but though the training is frustrating, it takes a great deal of patience." Damon said to him and he nodded gently.
"You got enough time to pack in another 6 months worth of training into a week till dad gets here?" he asked and they all nodded. "We can, but sparring is going to take time, but hopefully he raided the temple to get training lightsabers now." Mace said and he nodded to him. "Your father was the top of his class at everything he did, but if we never came back and it's just him, Ikrit and you now." Obi-wan said to him and he nodded gently.
"Dad said he was taking your place on the council Master." Luke said and he nodded. "Well there is no need now, but instead of 12 we're both versions so 24 members of the council and some of us were here from beginning to end now. Said are myself, Plo Koon, Master himself, Ki and Saesee." he told him and Luke nodded to the news. "So you're the council from dad's childhood, and with him Obi-wan?" he asked and they nodded to him gently.
"Yes, I'm Mace Windu, but he was telling you the truth, though he was good, his powers made him slightly arrogant, but the reason is and was now. It was he was sick of having his powers, title and his sensitivity to the force thrown at him and every-time he turned around now as he grew up now. But though we had a problem with each other at times, he looked up to us, me specifically, I was all he had left of our branch now."
"But the not trust was I didn't trust leaving him alone with Sidious, before Sidious tried that stunt and I was trying to get him to focus now. But I understand him perfectly, but I was one of two who understood his emotions at the time, after a trip to Zonoma Sekot, that underlined a key lesson. And he wanted to stay a padawan as long as possible now." he told him and Luke nodded to him gently at the news then as Obi-wan sighed gently.
"Find Ikrit and fast, we got to." Yoda said to Mace and he nodded. "Before you ask, Ikrit is like us, another of the old order, but he's teaching the cubs your youngest's age in your sister's family, and our new recruits connected to him." he said to Luke and Luke nodded, just as he was answering they all felt a powerful blast of fury and he nodded. "Sidious knows we're back and your father is himself again." Mace said, bemused, at that response.
"Yeah he knows Anakin just returned to us finally." Obi-wan said with a stern smirk. "It didn't work then, and it won't work now, I will never turn to the darkside. you failed your highness, I am a Jedi, like my father, my family before me." Luke said and the council smiled at that, as they felt a powerful blast of fury at that remark and a massive jolt of fear shoot through the force and they nodded sternly at that response.
"Uh huh, he knows, Anakin and you together, there is no surviving this, but he's close to death, his only weapons are force lightning, he's too old for sparring now." Mace said and he nodded to the news. "So him like this he's got a power advantage on dad, when like me, dad's got one on him and dad and I combine together and he's never surviving this with us and we're back for good?" he said to clarify and the council all nodded to him gently.
"I didn't need you telling me that, he's furious right now." Luke said and he nodded with a chuckle at that, as the radio activated a second time. "Master did you and Luke feel that?" Anakin asked and he nodded. "Indeed we did, but the force reversed time, and everyone back they are that we lost, before your turning." he said and he froze up. "All, Obi-wan you're back?" he called out quickly and Obi-wan smiled at him at that.
"Yes brother we all are, including our version of the council, we told Luke the entire story, but our team quartet are all back, your parents, Owen, Beru and a few dozen others." he said and saw him nod with a delight smile in the movements at that. "Alright after we get to Dagobah, I got serious surgery to contend with here, and I'm spending a year in training Luke." he said and Mace nodded gently at that.
"Master, I'm sorry, but everything Master and I talked about, we realized if you given me a chance to crack it, what happened never would have happened at all." he said and Mace nodded gently at that. "I see that myself Anakin, but as he said, we can talk about this, but with 22 years trapped like this, it's going to take years for you to heal from this, but we got time now." he said and Anakin nodded as they saw a relieved look then.
"I missed you all my friends, a second chance, I never wanted anything more my friends, but I'm back, really I'm back." he said and the council nodded gently at that remark. "Love you too son, but we're back again, we can fix this, but a second chance and we got a year to fix this." Damon said to him and he looked at them as they ended it at that. "Alright see you in a week, got to get Lando." he said and they nodded gently.
Ending the conversation at that, they knew he was ready to start his life over then, as they waited for him to come get them then...
Bespin:
Arriving in Orbit over Bespin, Anakin boarded the falcon with the quartet and they went down. "Lando, tell your speeders to hold fire, we need to talk it's urgent, your grandfather is alive, he's with my brother-in-law." he said and that did it then. "My grandfather, alright what is this about Han, I wasn't expecting to see you again, since Bria." he said and he sighed as he answered him gently as he looked at Anakin then.
"She double crossed me, and to tell the truth, it's a matter of being force sensitive, but from her and Gallandro, but the Skywalkers, that's my girlfriend, her father and brother, they'd know if I'm lying to you or not, but the force brought your families back together, your grandfather. Truth is and was he was like a father to my father-in-law now, but it's time now, we bury our past." he said and he heard a sigh as he answered him.
"Alright I'll hear you out, meet me on platform 327." Lando Calrissian said to him and he nodded to the news gently at that as he flew it to the pad and the man walked out then as Han said it gently to him. "Been a long time man, it was after she double crossed us, I broke up with her now, but no more loans, but taking on their charter changed my life, I belong to her now." he said and he looked at Leia then gently and Lando smiled.
"Hey baby sister, nice to meet you." he said and she smiled as she hugged him gently at that. "Dad told me everything, but your grandfather was like a father to him, but like you the reason we lost either of them. We had two Jedi that double crossed them and stabbed dad in the back, that caused a chain reaction of losses that resulted in killing who was left of their quartet and everyone at the temple." she said and he nodded sternly at that information.
"So dad and I are Jedi descent the force brought us back together by using Han and your father to do it, what do need from me now?" he asked and she smiled. "Your undercover job just ended we're going home now, but we're not done yet we destroyed one Death Star, we're not done yet. And till Sidious is dead, the emperor, Palpatine is a sithmaster, he's responsible, for everything." she said and he nodded sternly as he answered her.
"Yeah alright I'm coming with you, where we going?" he asked and just as she was answering him then, they felt a power blast through the force and she felt it slam into her. "Whoa, well he knows dad changed back, the others are alive and back and Luke made his choice, he's a Jedi to the end." Han said and they nodded in agreement. "Lobot lock up, Alliance only, and put maximum security." he said and the man behind him nodded sternly at that.
'Dad's side of the fleet went rogue here, so all clones change back into normal wear!" Han shouted and they heard a firm tone to the orders. "We're getting them into your version of your uniforms here at Cloud City." he said and Lando nodded to the orders. "A squad, I want you added to the security, protect the locals in case we have Palpatine attack Cloud City." Anakin snapped into his radio and heard 90 affirmatives to that and Lando nodded.
"I'm naming you a General of the fleet, we got one last thing to do, and it's paying off Han's debt to Jabba, and he's free to go now finally." she said and he nodded to her. "Just to keep from losing you after just getting you back, I'll do anything baby sister." he said and she smiled as she hugged him tightly at that remark as he looked at her father. "So what caused this in your case, General?" he asked and he explained that to him.
"I can explain that once I get to my friends, but we're heading for Dagobah." he said and Lando nodded to him gently at that. "Got it, Lobot, we got 200 added security guards arriving, but why do I get the feeling they never take off their helmet?" he asked and Anakin hid a chuckle. "They're all clones of Boba himself, as adults." he said and they both nodded in shock. "Boba is a clone of his father?" Lando repeated to the news at that.
"Yeah, the timing was so exact we never saw this coming till Palpatine revealed himself to me." he said and they all nodded in shock to the news. "Borderline personality disorder, but your brother is who I would have been were it not for the council not changing the code. And when they had the chance, but we had five Jedi with families of their own, if I never left Tatooine none of this would have happened." he said and they nodded in shocked disbelief.
"Or rather my grandfather staying with you, and you trained on Tatooine, as you were the extended team, and kept in touch with mom?" Leia said slowly and he nodded. "I stayed me, and were it not for Darra, and Ferus, I would never have changed, I would have raised and trained you and you and your brother stayed together, so in a way what your uncle told you is true, from a certain point of view." he said and she nodded sternly at that news.
"Borderline personality disorder, they triggered this by not changing the code when they had the chance." Han said to that and she nodded in agreement. "Well they better fess up to their own mistakes as I'm not taking it lightly if my oldest nephew suffers a collapse as well right now." Lando said to that sternly. "Time to go, if my entire family paternal side is back we're going to Dagobah, now." she said and he nodded in agreement to that remark.
"Before we do that, the falcon needs the hyperdrive fixed." Anakin said and he nodded to him gently at that news. "I can fly, and you guys fixed her." he said and the duo and Leia nodded to the news gently. "Chewie you're with the guys, I need some father/daughter time with my dad now." she said and Chewie gave a gentle growl to the request as Anakin smiled in delight he was getting some alone time with his baby girl.
