"That is adorable… my two Alchemists are getting along, I'm so happy."
Greed's words caused Kimblee to glare like a disgruntled puppy much to the Homunculus's amusement. The Combustion Alchemist was being used as a pillow by Aria who was curled up beside him with her head on his lap. Smirking at the State Alchemist, he raised an eyebrow daring the other man to move. If he even twitched Aria would wake up; noise wouldn't make a dent in her dreams but even the slightest movement would bother her. It made putting her to bed hell when she fell asleep in his office. Well until she'd figured out how to sense him in her sleep; it was nice to know that she trusted him even when at her most vulnerable.
The Alchemist himself was looking through Aria's sketchbook. It was nice that the man was showing an interest in Aria even if that meant she was nothing but an entertaining pastime. He'd been worried when she brought home a State Alchemist like most children would bring home a puppy. Now he thought his worry had been for nothing. While true that Kimblee was a monster that participated in the Ishvalan Massacre, so was Issac. The Freezing Alchemist hadn't been the first choice to teach Aria, however, he had turned out to be the best and Kimblee was turning out to be just as good a find.
Feeling his smirk widen when Kimblee narrowed his eyes, he chuckled. It was amusing to know that the man had no desire to wake up Aria; that meant his choice in allowing the man to stay was right. Given this was the first time he claimed Kimblee as his Alchemist it was slightly strange that all the man did was glare. If he'd tried that with the blonde boy with the automail, then he would have gotten an earful. Pride was a dangerous thing for an Alchemist especially one that served others.
Watching the blue-eyed man closely he wondered if the man even cared that he had claimed him. It was a strange thing to realize the man had so little pride. Was this due to his time in Ishval or had he simply been this strange the entire time? Either way, it didn't matter. He was Greed living incarnation of the desire for everything in the world. Nothing was out of his reach and nothing could escape him. Kimblee was his Alchemist even if the man rejected the idea.
"Shut up," the Alchemist snapped. He didn't like the victorious expression on the other man's face nor did he like how loud he was being. Aria literally fell asleep only a few moments ago, if Greed woke her, he didn't know if she would be willing to return to sleeping.
"Just teasing," Greed admitted. Raising his hands in surrender he glanced at the two finished pieces of jewelry sitting on the small table beside them. So that was how Aria would hide her Philosopher Stones; the snowflake pendant was impressive. It was also something that an Ice Alchemist would be expected to have. Feeling a twinge of amusement he tilted his head asking, "how did this happen anyway?"
Twitching, Kimblee frowned. He was unamused by the pleasure Greed found in his situation. When he came into this room he never expected to be used as Aria's pillow, nor did he expect to be in this situation. What sane child would fall asleep near a mass-murdering psychopath? He'd known she wasn't a normal child but he also didn't understand just how strange she was until now. Even Issac would be laughing at him right now.
"We talked, and she fell asleep," he admitted. Laying a hand on her head, he stiffened when she moved closer to him. Masking it with a shrug he said, "then I tried to move her to the bed."
Chuckling Greed grinned at the human with unsympathetic glee as he said, "Big mistake, she gets clingy."
"I know that now," he snapped just barely resisting the urge to growl at the other man. He wasn't truly angry, but instead he was uncomfortable with this situation.
"And she sleeps like the dead," Greed said as he pushed off the doorway and moved to stand in front of them. Ignoring the way Kimblee bristled he kneeled down before reaching out to lay a hand on Aria's shoulder. The sleepy reaction was immediate as she shifted allowing him to pick her up. Her instinctive action caused Greed to smile as she curled up in his arms.
"Great," Kimblee stated trying to ignore the gentle expression on the other man's face. It looked far different than any expression he'd thought a Homunculus to have but it did look good on him. Hearing the Homunculus chuckle he felt his eye twitch as Greed gently moved Aria to the bed.
The relationship between the two was strange. A human that could draw the attention of the sin of greed must be spectacular and she was. Her skill in Alchemy was comparable to that of a State Alchemist; in a few years, after she gained more experience, she might even surpass him. That being said, she was still human. A human that seemed entirely devoted to serving Greed as well. In Central she had even stated that her only goal was to return to him, so then why did she not still have the innocent traits of a child.
She accepted the darkness in humanity, even going as far as to speak some of his philosophes as well. She no doubt knew what the Philosopher Stones were made of yet she had no issue using them. By her own admission she'd had family as well before joining Greed, however, she didn't seem to care much about them. Had the relationship been abusive and driven her to turn away from humans?
It would make sense given her chosen companion was a soulless monster and a psychopath. What didn't make sense was her apathy or maybe it would be more clear to call it repressing emotions. She obviously still felt them but she quickly pushed them down in order to avoid feeling the emotion itself. He'd figured that much out when Envy had hurt her. It was a habit of soldiers after they stopped being bright-eyed fools and started seeing the reality of the world.
On the other side of the spectrum was Greed a Homunculus who had lived for decades if not centuries. It was obvious that he had a fondness for humans in a way the rest of his species did not. That did not explain why he would take in a little girl. A human was only measured by their worth and convictions. Despite the fact she was an amazing Alchemist now, Greed had no idea she would become such a thing when he took her in.
"Greed, where did you get her?" he asked as the Homunculus covered up the girl. Standing he watched the two realizing that he'd seen a similar gentleness with parents and their children.
"Why," Greed asked. Shrugging, the Homunculus saw no reason to pretend that there was some grand explanation to how he'd met the girl. Smirking he said, "found her outside my bar a couple of years ago."
Blinking Kimblee shifted his gaze from Greed to Aria; she'd been a street brat. Had she run away from home? If so even then, how did someone go from being a street brat to one of the most talented Alchemists of her generation? Snapping out of his thoughts as Greed laid a hand on his shoulder he tore his eyes away from Aria to follow the man from the room. Was it luck or talent that brought her this far? He wanted to know how much farther she would be able to climb.
"Martel and the others did most of the work raising her and then Freezer was the one who trained her," Greed said once they'd gotten to the kitchen. Even with the three of them here this house felt empty; just another reminder that he'd lost his chimeras. Part of him wanted to ask Aria how she felt about the situation but he had no idea how to actually start the conversation. For one he didn't even know if talking to her would be a good thing or not.
"At least he did something useful before he died."
The surprised scoff that Greed let out at the words caused Kimblee to smirk. It was true that he would miss Issac, but he had no idea if he would miss the man or the way they'd been able to sow chaos together.
"It was hard to even convince him to meet her," Greed admitted. Issac hadn't hated him as a person but he had hated what he was. It was made even worse when he discovered Aria; the man had accused him of trying to turn the girl into a weapon, in response, Greed had reacted violently. Sighing he said, "Pretty sure he died hating me."
"How sad."
Nope, he did not care about the fact Issac was six feet in the ground. He couldn't let himself care. The only thing he could do was keep Aria alive and hope that Issac wasn't haunting him.
"Why did you ask about My Alchemist," Greed asked, drawing Kimblee from his thoughts. For a moment the Alchemist considered what he was going to say, then he decided that seeing the Homunculus rage would be fairly amusing.
"She mentioned something about her cousin leaving bruises," he said, watching the man's face change to pure rage before he could hide it.
"Did she give a name?"
"No."
(Envy)
They'd been stuck in this dreary room for over a day despite now being able to see the sun or a clock they knew it was that long. When one couldn't sleep it became easier to tell time by thought rather than using some tool. Scowling they sent a glare to the door the second it opened. Watching the girl enter, they couldn't help but want to lash out at her. Instead, they stayed still; it wasn't worth it. The relief they would feel from hurting her was nothing compared to the pain Greed would make them feel.
"Envy I brought food," she announced as if the plate in her hand didn't make that obvious. Sneering at her they dug their hands into their thighs to avoid snapping at her. She might go tattling to Greed if they even said one cruel word to her.
"Go away."
Stilling Aria wondered if this was one of the moments she should be afraid of the Homunculus. He didn't look dangerous right now, if anything he seemed sad. Leaving the door open, she walked into the room slowly. If he suddenly attacked she would have an escape route but she doubted she could outrun a Homunculus. Ignoring the thoughts that told her it would be safer to run away, she stepped closer to the Homunculus.
"You aren't hungry," she asked tilting her head in curiosity.
"I don't need to eat you brat," he hissed. Twitching she shifted away from him, to put the plate on the small shelf that held a candle.
"That doesn't mean you don't want too," she said softly. Greed liked to eat human food; he said it was his right to eat as much good food as he could.
They didn't know why but her words were enough to break the fraying composure they had. Almost leaping off the bed, Envy shoved her against the wall with one arm pressing down on her neck. Not hard enough to hurt her but enough that she couldn't move away from them. From the way she stiffened it was obvious that she hadn't expected it however they saw no shock in her eyes. Nor did they see fear. She wasn't afraid; why? They were a Homunculus an immortal. Why wasn't she scared out of her mind to be in this situation?
"Why aren't you scared," they hissed unable to keep the rage from their face. Blinking in surprise Aria felt confused.
"Why would I be? Greed said you wouldn't hurt me," she stated.
The complete loyalty and honesty in her voice only made them angrier. She was nothing but a frail, foolish little human, why did she have so much faith in Greed? They didn't understand, how such a thing could be possible. Snarling at the answer they pressed a hand against the wound they'd left on her stomach. Feeling her tense they waited for a reaction of fear only for her to blink at her with open confusion. This loyalty she had for Greed, was it something that they could ever receive.
"And you believe him just like that," they questioned. Humans were arrogant, untrustworthy worms who betrayed themselves and others. She couldn't honestly feel this way it was insane. Sneering they snapped, "he's not exactly here to protect you right now."
"Does that mean you are going to hurt me," she asked.
It was the first time they noticed but she hadn't made any move to shove them away. She'd accepted their action and cataloged them as not an enemy. There was no one here to save her; it would only take one movement to kill her. One simple instant and they would no longer have to worry about Greed's little pet. Staring at her, they waited for any sign that she felt threatened at all only for her to do nothing. Why was she doing nothing? Did this girl have no survival instinct?
She'd run away at Central. She'd feared them then. They had no idea why but the lack of fear really made them uncomfortable. If she wasn't afraid, how were they supposed to make her suffer? If she wasn't afraid, did that make them weak? Almost snarling, Envy released her. They didn't understand anything about this girl. In a way, she almost didn't seem like she was human. There was just too much wrong with the way she functioned for them to classify her as a normal human being. Looking away from her as she shifted they suddenly felt it would be better to be alone than in a room with this confusing girl.
"Go away."
"Are you alright?"
Staring at her in shock, Envy couldn't stop his mouth from falling open at the honest concern in her eyes. This girl wasn't normal. She was dangerous, her loyalty to Greed made her forget that they were just as deadly as her master. Before they could react to her question, which honestly freaked them out, an explosion wracked the building. Stiffening Envy suddenly remembered the backup from Central that Wrath was supposed to send. Did this mean that they could still make it out of this without being punished?
Aria stiffened her eyes widening at the sound. Greed's first rule was no explosions in the house, so it wasn't Kimblee. Did that mean the house was under attack? Turning toward the door she barely managed to make it one step before an arm encircled her waist. Lashing out she sent an elbow at Envy's face that was quickly caught by the Homunculus. In her shock, she'd forgotten that he was dangerous and despite going into the room fully armed, she wouldn't be able to defeat him. Not if she didn't use something stronger than normal Alchemy. Letting a hand stray toward where her necklace was hidden under her jacket she didn't get a chance to use it.
(Kimblee)
There were suddenly chimeras attacking the house. Given that he'd put a lot of work into creating the house he wasn't very happy that they were trying to destroy it. Turning another into a bomb he dodged a strike that would have taken his head off. This was starting to get ridiculous. How many of these things did he have to kill before they stopped coming into his house? Glancing at Greed who was shredding them apart with his claws, he frowned. While he would love to deal with these invaders in a single explosion, he didn't want to sacrifice his house.
"Kimblee!"
Twisting at the shout, he barely avoided the claws coming at his back. Grabbing the chimera's arm he flipped the lion over his head sending it crashing into the walls. He was going to have to abandon the thought of keeping this house. Clapping his hands together he slammed them onto the ground turning the floor into a bomb. Stepping back, he watched the chimeras explode before realizing that he had no idea where Aria was. Then a hand grabbed his ankle and he was dragged into the bottom floor.
Kicking away his captor he flipped to land on his feet. Seeing a flash of blue out the corner of his eye; he cursed. It was Aria's ribbon. The girl connected to it was being held under Envy's arm as the Homunculus moved to escape up the stairs. Turning fully in the immortal's direction he barely had time to glare before he was dragged into the water of their bathing area. Elbowing the chimera in the face he felt another's hand close around his neck. He wouldn't be able to get out of this. Struggling to clap his hands together he coughed as water started to fill his lungs. This would be the perfect time to use the Philosopher stone if not for the fact he couldn't even see straight.
It was a carbon clawed hand that saved him. Hacking up the water he'd swallowed, he kneeled on the edge of the bathing pool as Greed kept a steady hand on his back. The low growls coming from the Homunculus was the only thing keeping the chimeras from coming out of the water to attack. He'd almost died; the thought was enough to send him spiraling. He wanted a warrior's death not to die drowning like some forgotten child. Slamming his palms together before Greed could stop him, he turned and made the entire pool into an explosive work of art.
Grinning at the vindictive action, the Homunculus stood slowly. Turning his attention to the remaining chimeras he saw some of them flinch at the cruel expression he wore. That didn't stop him from tearing them to pieces.
(Envy)
Making it off the island had been easy with the chimera distracting Greed and Crimson. Reaching land while carrying the girl had been harder, but they'd done it. What they found annoying however was booking a hotel with a hostage. Everyone stared and whispered but did nothing to stop them, hence why they were in a comfortable room with the girl thrown on the bed a few feet away. Even after all that trouble, they still would rather go through it a hundred times rather than contact Father. It was why they were sitting in a chair looking at the phone sitting on the table with open fear. Just because they'd succeeded didn't mean they wouldn't be punished.
Hearing the girl shift, they frowned turning their attention back to the girl. The gentle rise and fall of her chest meant she was alive, however, that didn't make them feel any better. Standing Envy walked over to stand beside the bed. She was shivering yet the room wasn't cold. Sneering they didn't realize what they were doing until they'd already covered her with the blanket. Looking at their hands, they couldn't help but feel strange. Why had they done that? She was just a human; her comfort didn't matter. Scowling they stalked over to the phone before calling Wrath's private number.
They needed to get away from this girl before they started acting even more strangely. Listening to the phone ring, they glanced back at the girl who had rolled over to lay on her side. Greed was going to kill them; however, they hadn't actually injured the girl again. There was no reason for their brother to be angry, well beyond the obvious theft of his pet. They needed to get out of this city before Greed caught up and treated them to another beating. It was unknown if they could survive another beating like the last one.
"King Bradley speaking."
Hearing their brother speak, was a relief. To think they actually felt relieved to hear Wrath. The man who they disliked more than anyone else. Still, they needed to hurry this along before Greed found them. Putting a smirk on their face even if their brother would never see it they tried to sound as arrogant as possible.
"Wrath, I caught Greed's pet," they announced. The responding sigh almost let them hear Wrath rolling his eyes.
"Good. Return to Central immediately with Lust gone we'll need you," he said nonchalantly. Feeling dread begin to settle in their stomach; Envy frowned. What did he mean that Lust was gone?
"Lust was sent on a mission," they asked hoping that the guess was correct.
"No, she was killed by the Flame Alchemist," Wrath stated as if the words didn't matter.
Envy barely managed to keep from dropping the phone. Lust was gone? She'd been killed by a human. Their sweet sister who was the only one to care about them was gone. Why didn't Wrath care that she was gone? Feeling their hand begin to shake, Envy gripped the wall their nails digging into it as they tried to stay calm. If Lust was dead, then Mustang had to be dead too right? Father wouldn't allow someone to kill a Homunculus and live.
"Well, it's a good thing I caught the girl then especially since we'll need a new sacrifice to replace Mustang," they said only to hear Wrath groan in annoyance.
"Why would we," he snapped.
Hearing what sounded like paper being turned over, Envy's eyes widened. Hadn't Mustang been killed? Lust had been their sister! She was far more important than any sacrifice. Father could find a new human to kill. Hell, any Alchemist of skill could be forced to do Human Transmutation and turned into a pawn; so why was Mustang still alive when he should be dead. It made less sense than Greed favoring this human. Feeling the rage grow they barely managed to keep from smashing the phone.
"Didn't you kill him," they asked keeping their voice calm as if they were just curious.
"His life is worth more than petty revenge," Wrath stated as if the very idea was childish. Paling Envy wondered if their brother knew how that sounded before dismissing the thought. Wrath knew exactly what he was saying. It felt like there was ice running through their body as Wr… no Bradley said, "Return to Central Envy that's an order. I'll send an escort."
Hearing the other Homunculus hang up the phone, Envy let their hand drop from the wall. Lust was dead. If Envy died would Father even care? Crushing the phone in their hand, the Homunculus snarled. Lashing out they twisted to kick the chair into to the wall with a bang. It wasn't fair! Lust was smart, driven, amazing, but most of all she actually cared about them. So why was she the one who died? It wasn't right! If anyone should've died it should've been Wrath or Father.
The sound was all it took to wake the girl who's eyes fluttered open slowly. Watching the Homunculus destroy the room with enraged movements, she sat up slowly as she remembered what happened. The house had been attacked and Envy had kidnapped her. However, that didn't explain why he was tearing apart the room. The scowling and snarling reminded her of a rabid animal yet the rage quickly gave way to despair. Falling to his knees the Homunculus slammed his fists into the floor as he screamed in the rage with his forehead pressed against the floor.
Wincing she recognized his emotion all too easily; it was grief. He was grieving for someone; another of the Homunculi had died. Pushing the blanket away, she stood before hesitating. What did she care if he was grieving? The Homunculus had kidnapped her, but that didn't' mean she would sit here and watch him suffer. Walking over to Envy slowly just in case he decided to lash out she kneeled down to touch his shoulder. Stiffening like a wild animal, he snarled before almost leaping off the floor.
Hands going around her neck, Envy pinned her to the floor as they bore sharpened fangs in her direction. The urge to crush her throat was almost overwhelming yet they held back, barely, as she raised a hand to touch their face. Her touch was gentle snapping them out of their rage enough that they were able to blink down at her in shock. It was the same open concern on her face as last time; damn her and damn Greed for finding her first. Letting their hands slide from her throat, they allowed the girl to wrap her arms around their neck and pull them down.
Her body was warm against their own despite the fact she's used ice in Central. Bitting their lip, Envy struggled to hold back tears as she ran a gentle hand through their hair. Father would never do this; it would be seen as weakness. Crumbling against her, Envy gripped her jacket tightly as they howled in anguish against her shoulder. It wasn't fair! If they'd been at Central they could've saved Lust. Their sister was gone and all they could do was sob against some human.
No, not some human. Greed had called her Aria, hadn't he? Humans were vile, weak, easily manipulated scum that didn't deserve to live. If this girl was a human than they were wrong about humanity. That wasn't possible. This girl was an exception to the scum that was humanity. No other human would comfort a Homunculus so she wasn't human. She was just Aria; the only exception they would even allow humanity to have. Shifting so that they laid beside her rather than pinning her to the floor, Envy pressed their face closer to her jacket.
They couldn't go back to Central, not when Father didn't even care that Lust was gone. If it continued this way Envy would be the next to die. What was more important however was the fact they didn't want to return to Central. They wanted what Greed had. The loyalty their brother enjoyed was something they'd never felt before and they wanted it. Envy wasn't a fool; they might be a little slow but they weren't stupid. The only way to stay away from Central and to get even a shred of the loyalty Aria offered Greed was to join their older brother. Plus it would be a giant middle finger to Father.
Feeling Aria shift against them in discomfort, Envy remembered that she was human and that she'd been injured less than two days ago. The fact the injury was by them wasn't important at the moment. Sitting up slowly they wiped away their tears before pausing as she sat up too. They didn't see any sign of pain however before they could ask, there was a knock on the door. Bradley had said something about an escort. It was too bad that Bradley hadn't taken into account the fact they cared about Lust.
Standing they left the girl on the floor fully intending to kill the soldiers sent by Bradley; if they couldn't lash out at their brother they would kill his pawns. They didn't expect a tailed man to throw a pie at their face. Stuttering because what were the chances, they rushed to wipe away the dessert from their beautiful face as the chimera rushed past them. If any had gotten in their hair then what happened to Ishval would look like a common bank robbery. Twisting to attack, they froze as the chimera tackled the girl in a hug.
"Bido!"
"Miss Aria!"
The two knew each other; there went their plan to kill the chimera. For the first time since they'd met Aria, the girl's eyes filled with tears as she clung to the man who held onto her just as tightly. Hearing her repeat something about thinking that everyone was dead, Envy dropped their arm. They couldn't kill the chimera. It was most likely a survivor of the attack Bradley had orchestrated on Greed. Even when they'd wounded her they hadn't seen her cry. Clenching their fist as the sound of rapid footsteps and the scent of gunpowder filled the air, Envy scowled.
Watching the military escort Bradley had sent file into the room, they weren't expecting the chimera to shove the girl behind him protectively. It wasn't a warrior, Envy could see that much yet it didn't falter when having guns pointed in his direction. The chimera valued his loyalty to the girl more than his life. It all came back to that word; loyalty. If this was what loyalty was then Envy wanted it. They wanted someone to look at them as if they cared; as Lust had. Clenching their fists Envy twisted not giving the soldiers time to react.
Bright red blood splattered against the floor as Envy slammed his fist into a soldier's head hard enough to send it flying. Eyes widening, even as Bido screamed in shock, Aria reacted. Darting to her feet with a transmutted rapier in her hand she lunged driving the weapon into a soldier's chest when he turned to Envy in shock. Pulling out the weapon she threw it away as her glowing palms slammed into the man's chest. The action pushed him back into the line of soldiers and gave her enough time to grab Envy's arm. Pulling him with her, she put distance between them and the soldiers as the one she'd transmuted bulged. It was only a second but she met his terrified eyes as red ice erupted from his body. She didn't feel anything.
Watching the soldiers caught in her attack fall to the floor screaming, she realized that killing them meant nothing to her. Did that make her a horrible person? Tightening her grip on Envy's arm as the Homunculus stared in shock, she knew that this was different from the euphoria that Kimblee felt; this was apathy. Was it worse not to care about taking a life? Feeling Bido scramble to grab her pants leg, she didn't realize her hand was trembling. She would kill a thousand times if it meant she and those she cared about survived.
Seeing one of the soldiers move to shoot at her even as their face twisted in pain, Envy moved. Shoving the girl into the chimera's arms, they rushed forward closing their hand around the soldier's neck before he could fire. Crushing it easily, which honestly made him feel a little better, they dispatched the remaining soldiers just as easily. Turning back to Aria who was soothing the chimera with gentle words, Envy stalked toward her ignoring the blood on their hands.
"I will not allow you to hurt Miss Aria," Bido screeched the moment he noticed the Homunculus. Throwing himself between them the chimera trembled but refused to back down; he wouldn't fail Greed by letting anyone hurt Aria.
Narrowing their gaze at the chimera, Envy sneered as Aria reached out to try and calm down the creature. What could this thing do to stop them from harming a piece of lettuce much less Aria? Pushing down the instinctive urge to mock the creature; it was hard, Envy breathed out slowly. This whole thing was going to be much harder than they thought it would be. Especially since they would soon have to share with the living incarnation of greed of all people.
"Bido th-"
"I won't," they snapped, cutting off Aria. Meeting her eye's they shifted suddenly feeling nervous. The whole caring about humans thing was new and they doubted it would be easy. Crossing their arms they admitted, "she's my Aria."
Feeling her face flush at being claimed by anyone other than Greed. It was weird; she'd never expected any of the other Homunculi to come up and claim her like a puppy at an auction. Frowning she crossed her arms as she stubbornly said, "I'm Greed's Aria."
"You can't belong to two Homunculi," they questioned ignoring the scrambling of the chimera who was far too confused.
"I-," she stopped. Cutting herself off, she bit her lip as she considered his words instead of instinctively denying him. Having never ran into this issue she didn't know if it was even possible to belong to two people much less Homunculi. Letting her arms drop to her sides she looked down saying, "I don't know."
She didn't want to simply reject him, that would be cruel, but she didn't want to upset Greed either. If it was solely up to her she would accept him the same way she accepted Kimblee, yet what if Greed didn't approve? She didn't know what to do. When she brought Kimblee to Greed she'd known that he would take in the man due to his skill in Alchemy, but Envy was an enemy wasn't he? Yet he was still Greed's brother.
"Then we can both belong to Greed and your loyalties won't waver," Envy offered. Watching her look up at them with bright shocked eyes, Envy hid their suddenly flustered expression by transforming into a cat.
By the time, Greed found them an hour later, Aria was petting a purring black cat while Bido scrambled around the room in pure panic. Glancing up at Greed with a smile, she happily told him everything much to Envy's embarrassment; however, that quickly faded once they informed Greed about Lust and Father's reaction to her death. Even with Aria petting them, Envy couldn't keep the despair from their voice. They didn't want to admit it, but it helped when Kimblee arrived and started teasing them.
Hi guys
So Envy officially joins the family (only one Homunculus to go). Anyway what did you guys think about the chapter? Next chapter the group will be revisiting Central so there is that to look forward to.
stay safe and have a good day
