Adv Week 2020 Drabble
I know I'm a little late with this, but that doesn't matter. All that is Important is the concept. So here's a little something to celebrate Advanceshipping Week! It's not much, but I hope you enjoy!
"I can't believe it! Our anniversary is coming up in just a few days!"
"What do you mean, May?" Ash asked his girlfriend confused, "it's not like we're married, yet..." his last word trailed off, and May didn't hear it.
May giggled, "anniversaries aren't always for married couples! It can be for us too! Two years ago from this Friday was the day when you first asked me out on a date! Don't you remember that?"
"I remember us going to sit together alone at a park, then being attacked by Team Rocket, who just completely ruined it for us." Ash stated sadly.
"C'mon, it's the thought that was important. When we were alone that day, I realized my feelings for you. It helped me to decide who was the perfect guy for me. I love you so much!" May exclaimed as she happily cuddled into the chest of her boyfriend.
Ash chuckled at May. "I'm not that special. We were just really close friends before we got together."
"Are you kidding?" May asked flabbergasted, "you're amazing! You're a powerful trainer and a really cute and nice guy!"
"Wow, I don't even know how to respond." Ash was shocked with the way May felt about him. It was clear to them both that they loved each other more than anything, but it was still surprising the way she just said it.
"You don't have to say anything, Ashy! I was just letting you know what I feel, that's all!"
"Well, I am going to say something anyways. I would feel too guilty if I didn't return a compliment from you."
Ash fished something small out of his pocket. He had been holding on to it for months, and decided that it was finally time. He was finally going to act upon this right there and then.
"May, you're literally the greatest person the world could ever offer. You're such a nice friend, and I love having you around. You're so beautiful that it's terrifying to look at you sometimes, but in the best way possible. I never want you to leave me, so I have a question for you." He revealed what was in his pocket a little while before, knelt on one knee, and presented it to May. "My beautiful queen, will you marry me?"
May squealed of happiness and spun in a circle. "Of course Ashy! I love you even more than words can describe! I will never leave you!"
Ash smiled. "Well, I guess it's time to start planning the wedding!"
"Yeah!" May then quickly remembered something that she wanted to tell Ash right away. "I actually have a confession to make. I'm pregnant!"
"You are? When did you find out?" Ash couldn't believe that he was going to be a father.
"I went to get tested a few days ago, and just got the results back within the last two hours."
"Well that's awesome! I'm looking forward to having a child to raise!"
(About 9 months later)
"C'mon, May! Keep pushing! You can do it!" Ash urged his new wife on to produce their child. After a few more pushes, it slid right out of the, umm, lady part...
"I did it!" May gasped. It took a lot of her energy to go through the process she just did.
"Congratulations! Now, what do you think we should name it!" Ash had an idea of the first thing he thought of after seeing his baby (it was a boy btw).
"I don't know. What do you think, Ashy?"
"He reminds me of the kind of person that would grow up into a police officer. I'm not sure why it I think we should name them after that. Let's name him Kops, with a K"
"I like the sound of that!"
I don't know why I had this kind of thing be the ending lol. But I couldn't really think of anything, so that's what I settled on. I hope you enjoyed this short little thing for Advanceshipping week!
