While last chapter was light, joyful, and even funny at times. This one is set on a more deeper emotional level and shed's more light into Lily's personal life. So be prepared. Enjoy :)

It was still night time. Frieza awoke to the sound of soft whimpering. He saw Lily sitting up, wide awake, with tears streaming down her face. She had her knees pulled up to her chest, struggling to hold in sobs.

"Lily? What's going on? What's wrong?" He asked her.

She could barely get any words out at first. "I can't do it anymore. I miss my family, I miss my friends, I just want to go home."

He was not prepared for this response. Nor did he know what to say to her. "Little One, we will be going home soon. Perhaps even sooner than we expect. Your navigation system says four months. But at the rate we are going, it maybe sooner."

She shakes her head. "No, you don't understand I may never see them again."

"What do you mean? Does this have to do with that little slip up you made earlier?" He asked.

She was confused at first until he spoke up. "You said when we get back to my universe. Before you quickly reiterated and said our universe. There something your not telling me?"

"I can't, I can't say. I'm sorry but I can't." She sobbed.

He gave her a look. "Your not from my universe are you?"

She didn't need to answer him. The look on her face said it all.

"I won't ask where. But how did you get to my universe then?" Frieza asked.

She took a deep breath. "How else, that motherfucking sorcerer wished me to your universe. So you see, I've been away from home a lot longer than you know. Before this all happened, we had a plan on how to get me back. Though I don't know how I'm going to explain to everyone at home where I've been for over a year."

"It doesn't sound like a feat earth's dragon balls could accomplish. Might I guess it was a wish granted by the super dragon balls?" He inquired.

She nodded. "Yeah, for whatever reasons the sorcerer wished me to your reality. Though we still never figured out why."

"By 'We', do you mean Goku and Vegeta?" He asked.

"And Lord Beerus and Whis. I was transported to Lord Beerus's world where I remained for a little over a month. Then we were contacted about your arrival on earth. The rest from there you already know." She finished.

"I see, well if this is the case; at least you already have a solution to the problem. If you were wished here 'via the super dragon balls. Then they most certainly can send you back to your own dimension." He assured her.

'Though as he's saying this he can't help but feel a sharp pang in his chest at this startling revelation.'

She shakes her head. "It's not the point. It should've never happened. I had a home, a family, a job...I had a goddamn life! He ripped that away from me. It's still driving me crazy to this day wondering, 'Why Me?' I don't belong here anymore than I belong in your reality." She said, as more tears rolled down her cheeks.

"I understand, but nothing good ever comes from dwelling on the 'What If's' and 'Why'. I know it's difficult, but you need to accept that it happened and you are here. As much as it behooves me to say it, you couldn't have been transported to a better place. They've accepted you, took you in, and even trained with you.

You could've landed in a much worse place with a less fortunate outcome. It also works to your advantage because you were at least in the presence of someone who knew of the super dragon balls. Then easily formulated a way to bring you back home. It's all set, all you have to do is wait. At least you will be able to go home after this dilemma is corrected." He told her.

She wiped away her tears. "I know I just miss them so much. I've never been away from any of them this long."

"Tell me about them, your family." He said.

She gave him a look. "No."

Now he was confused. "Why not?"

"Don't take this the wrong way. But I still don't completely trust you with that kind of personal information." She said.

"It's not like I know where they are. Plus, I have no intentions of crossing into your reality." Frieza said, then added. "I won't hurt them, if that's what your worried about."

She just looks at him, still silent. He sighs and looks away. It seemed like many minutes before the silence was broken again.

"I'm the youngest of three kids. I have a sister who's the oldest. My brother is the middle child. Growing up, we were never really close. We were just too different. Even to this day, I hardly ever talk to them. They always gave our parents a hard time. Also had a bad habit of dragging Mom and Dad into their problems, they can't seem to fix themselves. Between the two of them I have three nephews.

My sister's twin boys are six years old. While my brother's son is still a baby. He's almost a year old now. I may not think very highly of their parents. But I love my nephews. I'd do just about anything for them. They are the ones I must say, I miss the most. Then there's my best friend, Maya. We've been best friends since Preschool. Kind of like the sister I've always wanted. I can only hope that right now she's taking care of Mia for me. Mia's my dog, and a bundle of fun and energy." She smiled and stopped right there.

After a moment he asked his first question since she started. "What of you parents? What are they like?"

"They 'were' great. My Dad was a rather strict disciplinarian, but we loved him and he us. My Mom was always very sweet, and always knew what to say. We were very close. I could always turn to her for advice. Unfortunately, they died in a car accident two years ago. It's part of why I don't drive. Being in a couple minor accidents myself. I'm too nervous and it scares me. Even as a teen, I never really got into it. So I got use to using my bike for my main mode of transportation. Whenever I couldn't use it, I still had no problem getting a ride to where I needed to go." She said.

"You seem to be driving fine the other night when you drove us to the base." Frieza replied.

"How would you know? You were drifting in and out of consciousness. If you were more coherent. Then you'd noticed I was all over the road. I ended up on the shoulder, and onto the grass quite a few times. It was scary and uncomfortable. I only did it, because you were obviously in no state to drive. Only right thing I did was gun it down the road in record time to get you help. Probably would've been there sooner, if I didn't almost lose control several times. Damn near pissed myself during those times too. So Yeah, when I get back. I will still be sticking with my bike." She said.

He smiled in amusement at her stern declaration.

"What about you? What was your family like? Though obviously they're not around anymore. Goku and Vegeta said they were gone." She asked.

He snorts. "Of course they would know that. Since one of their band of little friends killed my father. Though I'm not entirely sure how my brother, Cooler was killed. Though something tells me it had to do with those monkeys. I don't miss them. My father's ego was bigger than his whole empire. Cooler and I were always bitter rivals. Always fighting for the top and competing for success. If I were successful in profiting off of say five planets at a time. He would go the extra mile and try to profit off even more planets. It was always like a competition for us."

"They sounded very pleasant to be around." Lily replied in sarcasm. "But what about your Mom?"

'His Mother. Always a touchy subject for him.'

"She died when I was quite young. There are times I hardly remember her. Yet, I know she loved my brother and myself very much. My Father...well I think he only married her because she had an impressive battle power. Saw her as a fit specimen of a female to give him strong heirs. I wouldn't be surprised if he's the reason she's dead. He always came off as rather suspicious, in regards to the details of her death." He informed her.

"That's horrible. I don't blame you one bit for hating the guy. Especially if you firmly believe he has involvement in your Mother's death." She said.

He shrugs. "It's all in the past. Can't dwell on things that were. We were always told to look ahead and that was all that mattered."

"That doesn't mean it hurts any less. Especially when we can hardly remember the ones who mattered most in our lives." Lily said.

He really looked at her then. He wasn't sure if it were mere moments or minutes he spent drowning in the deep blue pools that were her eyes. Nor can he recall how their faces were close, and getting closer. He broke the eye contact first and his gaze drifted down to her full pink lips. Her gaze followed close behind and drifted down to his dark purple ones.

They were a hair's breath away from closing the distance when he placed a hand on her shoulder, halting her.

"I think we should go back to sleep. We need to get an early start tomorrow. And we don't want to start our road trip weary." Frieza told her.

A quick hint of hurt flashed in her eyes. But she agreed and they settled back down to sleep. 'What am I doing? He's not some sweet and sensitive guy that will just sweep me off my feet. He's an alien. A fictional alien at that. He's also a well known evil emperor with a murderous streak. Nothing good can come of this. Also, she will be going home and she will never see him again. So why does that hurt more than it should? I never felt more conflicted in my life.'

She found it rather hard to sleep that night. Though unbeknownst to her, Frieza wasn't any better off. 'This can't be happening. I shan't allow it. Emotions are weak. They will only slow me down. She's not even one of my kind. She's a weak lowly human. Hell, she isn't even from my dimension. No, this cannot continue.' They lie awake with their backs to each other. Until the first rays of morning light shine through the window.

Things appear to be going from worse to completely complicated with these two. Hopefully they can find a way to mend their bridges and accept their growing feelings for one another. Until Next Time ;)
