Gran Torino and liers

Work placements were just around the corner. I had to say goodbye to Tomura for a while since I'll be too busy to see him like usual. He was really pouty about it. It was kind of cute. Anyway, he cheered up when I told him I'll get him a bunch of his favourite snacks when I'm back. As for where I'm going to placement well. Long story short, I decided to accept All Might's suggestion for the internship with his old master Gran Torino...he wasn't exactly what I expected. I though he was dead:

Izuku stood in front of a clearly run-down building with Kurama peached on his shoulder. The sign was falling apart with letters missing and faded paint. The walls had cracks everywhere and some plants sprout from them. For heaven's sakes even the widows were boarded up with rotten wood planks. He glanced at the address again for the tenth time. This was the place. Unless his mentor miss-written it. Please say it was miss-written. He opened the entered. A cloud of musk hit them both. When was the last time anyone cleaned? They coughed the dust out of their system and Izuku called out. No response. The room was dark with the only light coming from the open doorway. His eyes squinted and spotted something horrifying.

There in a pool of red was an old man. Still and lifeless.

"AAAAAAHHHHHAAAH! HE'S DEAD!" the teen screamed as he flinched back. Even Kurama was surprise with eyes bulging out.

Suddenly the old man's head pop up with a smile. "I'm alive," he said dumbly with a carefree smile.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHH! HE'S ALIVE!" Izuku screamed again before sighing in relief.

Meanwhile after the wave of shock washed out Kurama laughed in delight. He pointed a paw to the old man with a genuine smile. "I like him," he proclaimed.

Turned out that red stuff he as lying it was ketchup. Why was there ketchup anyway? Past that unusual introduction I can see why All Might is kind of afraid of him. His training has been brutal with him hopping around like a wild bouncy ball. Slamming into me with every chance he took. Surprisingly, he got along with Kurama well. While he wasn't beating my ribs in or making me run odd errands, he was telling Kurama stories he had about younger All Might. In return Kurama shared some of his own stories of current All Might. Both gave less than flattering tales. I don't know if I should be happy of afraid that those too are getting along so well. At any case it took me awhile to figure out, but I manged to use 5% of One for all in my body. All because of microwaving a Taiyaki. Who would have thought? I've been training constantly with Gran Torino to get my body to move. It was a process, but I think I've got it.

The old man smirked at the kid. His wrinkles stared to sweat a bit. Mostly for pride. "Not bad kid. Seems like you got a hold of the basics." Gran Torino wasn't just old; he was short in stature. Do not be fooled. The old man can pack one hell of a punch and kick. Especially with his quirk: Jet. His hero costume just about fit his small frame. There were wrinkles and cresses here and there suggesting he had shrunk more over the year and hasn't bothered to fix it. Even his bright yellow gloves were oversized or perhaps that is just how his hands were. The same bright yellow could be found on his equally oversized boots and cape which top snuggled around his neck like a scarf. Then there's his black mask over his eyes with a spark edged shape and white almost see-through eye sockets.

Meanwhile, Izuku stayed standing on the other side. His body was coursing with electrical energy. He panted and wiped the sweat of his forehead. Controlling One for all was no easy task. He knows this from the amount of times it destroyed his limbs. Maintaining 5% constantly is all he could do for now. But even with 5% the power was impressive. Someday he'll reach 100%. Maybe even surpassing All Might's power. He still had a long way to go till he'll get there.

"I have a suggestion," Kurama perked up. The fox sat nearby on one of the teared stained coaches choosing to remain in his small fox from. His twin tails waged behind him like a slow metronome. He got the two's attention as the both asked what he had in mind. The metronome beat of his tails quickened as a foxy grin appeared. "You should try using your lead and One for all at the same time. If you can use 5% along with your sword skills, you would be a formidable opponent."

"Lead?" the old man questioned.

Izuku was quick to explain that this lead was referring to the green-black sword and shield he could summon. The old man nodded along with the explanation and agreed that it would be beneficial for them to use both at once. With the extra speed and strength One for all could give him in battle it could be a deadly combo. Provided Izuku can concentrate on his movements alongside of the power coursing through is body. Once that was decided Izuku summoned his blade and shield in hand. The old hero hummed with slight intrigued while anticipation flared in Kurama's tails. Next the boy activated 5% and put up a defective position.

Now things were getting interesting. The old man stretched his legs and arms. A grin never leaving his face. His eyes aimed at his target. The boy matched his heated gaze. Next thing they knew the old mam activated Jet. The gush of air at his feet sent him flying. He cashed onto the shield forcing the boy slightly back. The shield tilted upwards, so the old man used that to his advantage and zoomed up to the ceiling. He saw the boy stumble and he took the chance. With 5% the boy should have dodged this easily. Stressing out the 'should of'. Without mercy, the old man crashed back down at the boy pining him with zero effort. He let out disappointed grunts. "What the hell was that kid! I though you said you out 5% down."

"I thought I did," Izuku yelled back. He gazed at his leads questionably. "I swear I was using 5%. But my body now feels different. It doesn't feel like I'm being teared apart anymore."

Curiously, Kurama hopped off the couch and trolled over his Eve. His stiffed the boy. It was strange. The scent of One for all was still coming from his body. Every time he activated it the quirk gave off this peculiar sent. It smelled like the scent of multiple people. Most likely because the quirk has been passed on for generations. This scent was coming off the boy therefore it was activated. So why isn't working? The electrical energy he had was also gone. An unusual development to say the least. The fox hummed in thought, "how about you try and summon more?" The two humans shot a shock look at the fox, but he shrugged it off easily. "It's obvious the power isn't doing anything to him now. Why not amp it up until it does?"

"I guess that makes sense," Izuku commented warily. He glanced at his leads psyching himself up for the possible pain he might have to endure. Then he closed his eyes, took a deep breath and attempted to summon another 5%. He still doesn't feel anything. So, it tried again. An again. He couldn't feel that burning energy like before. The quivering of his bones or the slight tearing of his muscles. What he did feel was a mild tiredness. He even yawned. It didn't make any sense. He wasn't even that tired before. All he's done was stand three trying to force out One for all. Envisioning that Taiyaki in the microwave. But nothing.

"Uh kid...you might want to open your eyes."

Izuku's flustered eyes cracked open. They soon widen it complete shock. His leads usual dark green black colouration changed into a rainbow light glow. The multiple colours twisted and swirled in with each other always moving. It was magical. Familiar. "Wait what?" All his concentration faded as trying to control One for all become an afterthought. As soon as he did the rainbow colours dissipated and the leads returned to their original colour. This shocked the boy further making the lead disappear in the process.

Kurama hummed curiously as he analysed the boy. The scent of One for all was gone. That only lead to one conclusion. "Tell me, my Eve. During that fight with that fire and ice brat. Did you activate One for all?"

The eve hummed as well; catching on to what his servamp was suggesting. He thought back to that fight and that weird dream he had. "Yeah I think that's right. You think somehow instead of flowing through my body. One for all flowed into my leads."

With a smug look the fox nodded. "That seems to be the only logical conclusion."

"I don't get it," the old found himself in the middle of the two of them utterly lost on what they were talking about. He still doesn't understand this whole servamp and Eve thing. Fox becoming a human. Vampires. He's old. He's seen a lot of bizarre things in his life to the point none of this surprised him. At this point of his life he chooses rolls with it instead of wasting his limited time and brain power to even attempt to understand.

"Allow me." Kumara offed with a small bow in his fox from. "Each servamp can gift a lead to their Eve. However, that lead becomes an extension of that Eve and would take the form that best suits them. An item of some sort. Its main power comes from two factors: a fragment of strength the sevamp gifts the eve and the Eve's natural power. Mostly their will, imagination, life essence etc. However, a quirk is also an extension of a human. With the rise of quirks in this generation of humanity it would make sense that the two could potentially be combined."

It took a while, but Gran Torino soon connected all the dots. He pounded his oversize hand in his palm, "Oh, I get it now. So, what you're saying is that instead of One for all flowing through out the Kid's boy it flowed into this lead thing. Guess that explains the rainbows. They're probably the power of the previous users."

"That's not the best part," the fox interjected. His tails waving wildered than ever. "Care to take the stage, my Eve. I'm sure you realised it as well."

Izuku nodded and glanced back at his scared hands. "If One for all is flowing to my leads as well, I could potentially access more of it. It's kind of like a secondary pair of limbs. Or a jar to put the excess energy in. It's just a theory but if it's not going straight to me lead, I could stop or slow down the flow of One for all and let it circulate through my body. That way I could use both at the same time. And if my control slips the excess energy would go into my leads instead of..."

"Breaking every single bone in your puny body. I get it now" the old man cheerful interrupted with a snap of his fingers. That still left will one question: "Now how do we test this theory of yours?"

"Simple mediation should do it," Kurama answered simply.

"Mediation?"

"Yeah it's this training exercise I do to help control my leads." Izuku explained excitedly. He then went on to tell his training to change the shape of his leads. It took a lot of focus to do something basic as changing the length of his blade or turning his shield into a half bubble. Now he could do it on instinct. Theoretically if he can control the flow of One for all for going all to his lead, he can master it faster, that would require a great deal of focus. The only way he can get that type of focus is through mediation. That's the only way he could figure out if this theory could work.

Before the boy could ramble further, the old hero slapped the boy's side. The boy stubbled over his feet but still managed to stay standing despite that. He turned back with the old back grinning mercilessly. "Well what are you waiting for. Get to it with this mediation thingy."

Without further delay or abuse, Izuku sat crossed legs on the carpet. He summoned his sword and shield leads and closed his eyes. Breathing in and out at a controlled pace he thinks of the Taiyaki in the microwave again. He invasion his body letting the power run its course. He could feel it escaping into his leads. He tired slow it down allowed it to run through his body more. Then he could start to feel the strain again. The burning in his muscles. The shiver in his bones. As time rolled by, he went deeper and deeper into his subconscious.

Patiently, the fox and old man watch the young hero. They saw trickles of the rainbow energy One for all gave out in the centre of the blade and shield. It didn't engulf them like they did before. For the sword it was a single line the swayed slightly from side to side. For the shield with was an uneven circle that seemed to move with life. It appeared to be working so far. To make sure Gran Torino kept a mental note to kick the kid later just to see if he could keep that level of concentration. For now, they'll let the boy practice in peace.

To past the time Kurama asked a question he was dying to know since he met the old man: "Say, do you have any embarrassing pictures of Toshinori when he was younger?"

The old man's eyes lit up with a dastardly glimmer. "Do I?" he yelled out cheerfully. An even grin appeared on his wrinkled lips as he rubbed his hands scheming. There was these one sent of photos he just had to show the fox now that he brought this conversation up. "I remember one year for the school festival his class did a maid chafe."

"Oh?"

"The boys wore the maid outfits."

"Ohhhhhhh..." the fox grinned evilly at the new piece of information. "ive me copies of every pic you got."

"Ha! I'll give you two of each if you help me find them."

"Lead the way my good man!"

And so, the two of them trotted off in hunt for these interesting pictures. This left Izuku alone to wonder in his thoughts.

Further and further the young hero slipped into the realm of dreams. He let the flow of energy wisped him away it the furthers parts of his mind. He felt at peace. His mildly screaming muscles become distance groans. A numbness fell over his body and then a shot of warmth. Slowly he opened his eyes and found himself in a very familiar place. The endless void of white. Last time he was here. He couldn't speak. He couldn't move. Now he could most definitely move. Although there was a heaviness weighed over his body, he could stand in his world, but can't he talk. He tried to open his mouth, yet no words came out. Sighting, he forced his stiff neck to look around. Then he spotted something out of place in the world of white.

It was a door. A gigantic door. He was unsure of what it was made of. It looked to be a type of metal, but he'd never seen black metal before. There was nail rivet all around it's framing. He followed the lining up to the almost unsee able top. There were two metal ring handles. They were simple with a shell pattern engraving attachment. Like the door they were comically large. Even bigger than his own body. Although the turn point of interest were the clocks that kept the door shut. There were eight in total. Each one unique in shape and style. Another thing of note were the locks were assigned with one colour. They glowed with their chosen colour and that glow seemed to extend outwards. The strings of light weaved into each other to from one single thread. This rainbow coloured thread somehow attached itself to the boy. He didn't know where or how but he felt a connection to the thread. It was warm. Comforting even. However, there was this underline sadness tied into it. Some sort of anger. Regret. It made him want to cry.

He battled against it the negative feelings. Quickly, wiping away the uneasy tears. The boy then decided he should explore this white world now that he could move. Although that might time some time since the weigh on his body slowed his movements immensely. That won't stop him for at least examining this random door. So, he forced his brick tied feet to move behind the door. To his surprise there was nothing there. not even a wall.

What?

He waved his arms at the back of the door and felt nothing. It was a door that lead to nowhere. The mysteries just keep piling up. What is this place? What's with this door? And why are there so many locks on it. It must be protecting something, but how could it when it didn't lead to anything. The boy pondered for what seemed to be hours. He didn't even notice the black figure walking up behind him.

The figure was a mess. Barely an outline of the original of a human. Just a shadowy body with sharp purple-pink glowing eyes. Other than the shadow's eyes there was one other district feature about it. They appeared to have hair. It was long with some sort of bun. A woman perhaps? Then the shadow reached out to the boy. It tried to speak: "T- *k -u ! #le"se h*l) T#n~o."

Izuku jumped at the sudden disjoined noise. He flipped his head around and screamed. His eyes widen in fear the second he saw the figure to up close. The second he did the rainbow tread attached to him broke. Soon he faded away from the white world.

"No! please wait." the shadow screamed as they rushed to the spot the boy stood previously. It was pointless, however. The boy was already gone. Sighing the shadows shoulders dropped in disappointment.

"Awe. Look at that. you scared the poor boy."

Angrily, the shadow twisted around and saw that man. The one with the white parasol and red camellia petals. He was here before any of them. None of them know why. Nor did they know who he was. What they do know is that they don't trust. The way he talked and that constant smug smirk. Alarm bells rang for all of them.

Bored, the man played with his parasol. Twirling form side to side in his palms. "Seems like he can't here you too well either. Perhaps because he's not unlocking a lot of your power like he did before. To him your nothing but shadow blobs. I would be startled too if I saw you walking up behind me. Yet he can see me perfectly. How curious. Although I would much rather have the boy hear me. I've been dying to have a proper conversation with him."

Biting and clenching their non-existing lips and fists the shadowed yelled defensively: "What's your deal!" They marched closer to the parasol man wanting to do whatever they had to do to get answers. "You show up out of nowhere just to condescend us. Who even are you! And you have a lot of interest with our ninth. You better leave that poor boy alone."

The man laughed at the shadow's demand. "Oh no, no, no. I can't do that. I have a legacy to uphold. I couldn't care less about you lot." Uncaringly, he turned his back at the shadow and walked walk while twirling this parasol behind him. Leave the boy alone. What a joke. "If anyone should leave that boy alone it's the lot of you. You're holding him back from reaching his true potential."

Before the shadow could demand for answers the man faded away. Disappeared to wherever he'd been hiding. Frustrated the shadow stomped their feet. They then sighed in defeat. There nothing else to do and so they disappeared into the lock door. Perhaps one day their ninth will find a way inside.

Izuku jumped as he woke up. Again, he was in that world. What was it? He really couldn't make sense of anything. The man with the parasol from last time. All those shadow people. Oddly, enough he didn't think the shadow people meant any harm. He couldn't sense any malice from them despite their scary appearance. That and one of them looked like All Might. It was unnerving but not terrifying. However, that man with the parasol was a whole other story. He was the only one he could see. What made him so special compared to the shadows. Funnily enough, he hasn't gotten a good look at the man's face. Every time he tried to remember the vison was blurred. He knew the parasol man has tried to communicate with him, but he could never hear what he was saying. He could kind of hear the shadows but really it was all gibberish. There were a couple of words he could make out. He was 20% sure that shadow was asking for something.

"HAHAHAHA!"

The howls of laughter broke the boy's train of thought. A cross the room he spotted his mentor's teacher and fox huddling over a tattered box. Old photos littered the floor. Curiously, he walked towards them. He paid little mind to the photos on the floor but was careful not to step on them as he tiptoed over. "What are you two laughing at?"

His fox was on the floor rolling on his back while his little arms held his stomach tight. He was laughing uncontrollably. There was something in one of his little paws. "Hahahha... you. Ah... got to see this." He handed it to his Eve who curiously took it.

It was a picture. Not just any picture but a picture of his mentor in a maid outfit. "Wait what?" his eyes bulged in shock. He couldn't believe what he was seeing.

It was definitely his mentor but younger. He could see his blue eyes prominently. His hair was almost identical as his current one in his skeleton form. His lion main was tamer back then and his fringe tassels where shorter. He would like to say his young mentor was full of life, but he looked miserable. Forcing a smile to the camera he held a matching tea pot and cup on a sliver plater in one hand. Now the maid outfit didn't fit him at all. It was a ridiculously tight fit. Even back then he had some impressive muscles. The black cotton fabric looked like it was close to ripping. There was a frilly white apron was tied around his waist with an obnoxiously sized bow behind him. What he assumed were puffy sleeves were stretched out on his define biceps. To top it all off was a black choker with a lace rim choking his neck.

"Why... just why?" The poor boy really had no idea what to think about all this.

Gran Torino was laughing along with Kurama like he hadn't had this much fun in a long time. He held a fan of various other pictures of similar theme. His poor mentor. He was blushing while he tried desperately to hide his face in most. Or was attempting to run away from the camera. "Some bight lass from Toshinori's class had the bright idea to do a cafe for the culture festival. Only the girls wore butler outfits and the guys wore maids. If it wasn't obvious enough, I took a lot of pictures."

Ok now he really understands why All Might was so terrified of this old man. Not only his is brutal he has a lot of blackmail material on him. Or at least have a lot of ammo to use to embarrass the poor hero. He gulped at the thought of possibly being the old man's next target.

"Anyway, kid what are you doing here? Done with your mediation thing or something?"

"Or something," Izuku replied with nervous chuckle and a head scratch. Then he noticed something on the floor of littler pictures. Thankfully it wasn't a picture of his mentor in humiliating clothing, but he was still in it. He was just and kind of skinny in this one. Most likely before he even began his training to be All Might. He was smiling to the camera showing off his pearly white teeth using both his index fingers to force the smile wider. He wasn't alone in the photo. Crouching beside him to meet his height was a woman. She matched the younger All Might's pose while they both showed their teeth to the camera with smiling eyes. She wore a sleeveless black skin-tight jump suit paired with oversized yellow gloves. Her white cape was attached to her shoulders and flowed behind her. a hero one would assume but Izuku doesn't recognised her. Since she was older than All Might she had to be an older hero like Gran Torino. Still something about her felt…familiar. Mainly her hair style and body shape. She was a well-shaped woman with raven black her that just pass her shoulders. A pair of her hair was wrapped in a messy bun with pieces flicking out on all directions. she looked so much like: "The shadow."

"Shadow?"

The teen was snapped out of his deep trance. Swiftly he picked up the photo and presented it to the old man. "Gran Torino sir, who is the lady in this picture?"

Eyes wide, the old man glanced at the picture. A sad frown came to his lips. "That's my old friend Nana Shimura. She was Toshinori old mentor and the pervious all of one user before him," he answered as he turned away from the image. Hiding the pain in his eyes. "From what that idiot said he already told you about her."

Izuku was quick to nod and gazed at the old photo. This was Nana Shimura. The seventh One for all user… and Tomura's grandmother now that he thought more on it. He couldn't see the resemblance straight away but looking closer he saw a little bit. They have similar facial structure. Even the same nose shape. He was willing to bet they would share similar eyes if the woman wasn't closing them. Then his thoughts returned to the shadow figure from his dream. Could he even call that world a dream? It felt too real to be one. Either way now was a good as a time as any to ask. "When I went to meditate, I went into this white world. This wasn't the first time either. I was there in the sports festival too. I couldn't move then but I was kind of able to now. The weird thing is there were a bunch of shadow people there before. Only one of them came up to me today. One of them looked like All Might and now I'm sure the one that walk up to me today looked a lot like the miss Shimura."

Sceptically, Gran Torino raised an eyebrow. "You saw Nana? And shadow people? Are you right in the head kid?"

"I'm telling you the truth. I know what I saw and I'm sure it was them. They tried to talk to but what could it all mean."

"Humm how many of these shadow people did you saw, my Eve?" Kurama joined in equally curious and somewhat concern. His Eve told him there where a round 8 or 9 of them. Then the old hero confirmed that the numbers matched up to how many previous users there were. If they included Izuku he would be the ninth user. Collecting the information, the fox could only come up with one conclusion: "if that's the case these shadow people must be the pass users. I don't think they mean you any harm. Since One for all is the collated powers of these pass users it's possible fragments of their power took shape of their previous selves. I wouldn't worry too much of it."

The boy nodded to his fox's explanation. He came to a similar conclusion. Still that left one last anomaly. "There were more than just those shadow people though. There was this man with a parasol. I can't recall his face, but I know I could see him. He tried to talk to me, but I couldn't hear him either. The strangest thing was that he wore a robe exactly like yours, Kurama."

Now that took Kurama completely by surprise. A man with a rope like his own holding a parasol. Quite the mystery. He thought about it for a while and came up with a solid conclusion he was happy with. "If that's the case that man would probably be some sort of essence of myself. I know I have one since I myself have met them and you have too. Although they usually take form of a fox. You remember right? When you first got your leads."

Izuku though back at the memory. He remembers being knocked out then transported into a room of presents. A little fox was there to greet him. It was black with red line static all over their body. It told him to choose a present from the pile and so he did. Next thing he knew he woke up from his dream state and there before him were his original pen and book leads. That fox was the man with the parasol? That explanation didn't sit well with him. "You sure?"

The fox shrugged. To be honest this theory was more of a wild guess than anything else. Still a logical guess none the less. "Not really but I'm sure it's connected with me if they wore similar clothing. Since we are connected it would stand to reason that man was something from me. Perhaps it's our bond itself taking the form of a man in the world the One for all users resign."

Izuku still wasn't convince but it was the best current explanation they got. For now. "I guess that makes sense."

"Ok you too that's enough conspiracy theories for one day. It's getting late and I had my fun kicking your ass and looking back at memory lane for today. Tomorrow let's go out patrol a bit. Stretch out our legs and see if you can practically use that darn quirk," Gran Torino suggested as be began picking up the old pictures.

Agreeing with the man's plan, the three of them gathered the litter pictures. Occasionally, one of them would ask about a one of the pictures and the old man would happily recall the tales. When it was just those three: him, All Might and Nana. It was a peaceful rest of the night full of laughter and awe. Izuku enjoyed the old man's stories and felt embarrassed for All Might. Accidentally, calling miss Nana mom must have been super embarrassing for him. At least Kurama had fun while his laugher howled into the night.

"Civilians are advised to stay home at night as the infamous hero killer stain claims a new victim. Reports says the body of a young hero was found last night with multiple stab wounds. Police assures us they are doing whatever they can to capture the villain..."

The voice of the reporter drowned in his ears as his crimson eyes fixated on the image next to them. One of the only images taken of the hero killer stain. An overhead shot of the villains back as he looked down at his victim. Although blurred he could recognise that mess of poorly cut dark hair. The tattered tails of the villain's red banded followed behind him. If he squinted, he could see bandages bellow the head band and around the arms. It was easy to the villain's physique clearly muscular with the way those bandages curve around his muscles. Safe to say, you do not want to meet this guy in a dark alley.

The on looker brushed back his neon green hair as gritted his sharp teeth. His red eyes stared at the at the image is if he was trying to burn it away. Disappointed, he sighed, "he really went off the deep end." He soon shrugged uncaringly. "Oh well not my problem anymore. I'll let those guys handle it."

"Hey, don't just stand there watching TV. We got boxes to move," a lanky boy with dull blonde shoulder length hair popped his head out of the nearby trucks. He held a small box in his stick like hands as he trotted beside his partner. "What you are looking at anyway?"

The man glanced down at his shorter partner. They boy's wide eyes stared at him curiously. His eyes then returned to the screen uncaringly. "Just another report on the Hero killer."

The boy's face insult dropped. He cuddled the box he held. Huddling back, he hoped to hide his expression. "Oh," the sadness in his voice was as clear as his eyes. Looking at the reporter. Listening to their words. It was saddening for him. Truly it was. "To think we were all family at one point. Seeing some of us end up like this. Doesn't it make you want to do something?"

With little hesitation, the taller man shook his head. "After he left us. We aren't really a family anymore," He spat bitterly before stomping away for the screens. His smaller partner dropped their head, eyes racked at the arrange of screens once more. A lot time ago they were together. United under one person. They all adored that man, but now they are fractured. Each gone their separate ways. Some choose to live normal lives. It was a simple transition for them. Other choose to wait for his return. They're still waiting to this day. Then there's the small faction that went AWOL. It was an unfortunate sight. Especially, when they were forced down. Eventually, they will be taken control of. There's nothing either of them could do. So, they walked away like him and went on their own lives as ordered.

If only the two of them stayed a little longer:

"In other news, social media rampage continues with the results of UA's recent sport's festival. Mainly for the first years. Petitions have been going around the web to redo the final fight that unfortunately couldn't take place due to one of the applicants injures prior. The applicant in question is Izuku Midoriya, first year hero student whose quirk is still yet to be identified. That's not all unusual about the boy. Rumours have it that the boy's quirk comes from the small black twin tailed fox often seen with him. However, the fox was clearly missing during the tournament matches therefore questioning such rumours. The boy made a stunning impression after the fight between him and the number 2 hero Endeavour's son, Shoto Todoroki. Many believe he deserved to win this year's sports festival more so than the actual winner Katsuki Bakugo. A bash invalid that only won by default. However, there are cries to leave the children as there will be a chance next year for them."

The sun shined over the city for a bright new day. The young hero followed his older teacher as they marched on down the mildly busy street. There was only a hand full of people out during this time of day. They were off doing their daily routine work, morning shopping, bringing kids to school. It was all so normal and peaceful. It was surreal. Izuku couldn't stop the grin forming on his lips as he watched the daily lives of the city people. Their smiling faces was what he wanted to protect, and he will do whatever he could to do just that.

Soon, Gran Torino stopped in his tracks and swivelled around on one leg. He was awfully chipper today. Probably since they were out this time instead of stuck in his decrypted agency. Either way there is training to be done. "Alright kid let's put you're training to practical use." He then took a stopwatch he hidden somewhere on his person. The boy wasn't sure where. Then he pointed down the street with only a hand full people walking about. "I want you to run down this street and back. The crowds are thin this time of day but with a quirk like yours this is the best. Don't want too many complains about your crashing into them on my watch. By the way, this is agility training your job will be to run and doge as fast as you can. I will deduct points if you hit someone and if you go over the time limit."

"Points? And what time limit." He quickly asked the nerves settled in.

"I haven't decided yet. Ask me again when you get back here," the old man chuckled and mercilessly started the stopwatch. "Time's ticking kid."

Panicked, Izuku quickly activated 5% and rushed down the street. He waved past the few peasants there as they watched in amazement of his speed. Course, he stumbled a few times as he tipped over his own feet. Still he never fell and manged to miss all moving obstacles in his way. Perhaps this was too easy for him. Maybe going later in the day would have been better. More people. More obstacles. More of a challenge. For now, they'll test him like this and come back later.

Kurama smiled at the boy's progressed as he sat beside the old man. "He's getting better."

The old man nodded in agreement. "Slow but steady. I can't complain." His old eyes then glanced down at the smiling fox. He couldn't help but think of the various comments and warning his old student gave him concerning the little fella. Now that he's gotten to know him, he can't completely see it. "You know you're not what I thought you'd be." The sudden comment caused the fox to look up in confusion. "The way Toshinori described you was like you were a hell spawn of Satan or something."

Toshinori told his mentor many things. Like how driven young Midoriya was. How he embodied his definition of a hero. Then there was the fox. He could hear the trigger of fear in his voice whether he was mentioned. He kept warning him that he may bite, scratch and maybe attempt bodily harm. The hero was almost certain the fox had tried to kill him. Yet there was also this tone of admiration. How he could tell he truly adored his Eve. How he was probably a better teacher than him. He was strong, confident and had a softer side. He only seen that side once. All strange none the less but he didn't bother to mention that part.

Kurama just laughed and took being a hell swan as a compliment. "Well you weren't what I was expecting either." Now it was the old man turn to look back in wonder. When he tried to imagine a man even that smiling idiot was afraid of, he didn't really picture this: "when I first hear of you, I was imagining someone much ...bigger." They both laughed. Sure, he really didn't look hero material at first glance, and he did play the senile old man very well. The fox knew it worried his Eve, but he found it entertaining. His interest only grew more when the old man dropped the act. "I can't say I'm disappointed This has been a very amusing experience."

"Here! Here!" the old hero cheered waving his stopwatch up as if it was a glass. Speaking of his stopwatch he looked to see where the kid was at. It wasn't a good time. "Hum that's strange. Seeing how well the kid was going he should have been back but now." He let the minutes pass and he still wasn't back. From where they stood, they couldn't even see were the boy was at.

Worried, Kurama scamper ahead. "I'm going to see what he's up to. I'll be right back."

Izuku was up ahead and free from the nerves form before. The stubbles he had before faded as he found a sense of balance. It becomes easier to doge the few people that were out at the time. The shock yet amazed faces he was able to take a glace of filled his heart with a little pride. At this rate he'll make it back in a matter of minutes. Far better than his previous running time during Aizawa's physical exams. It was such a rush to feel the wind bushing back his wild locks. The young hero was finally enjoying using his quirk without breaking his bones. He still felt a bit of the strain and he still hasn't quite figure out how to use his lead and One for all simultaneously. When he does that constant stain feeling should stop. For now, he'll have fun running freely at 5%. That smile hasn't felt his face yet as he dashed pass another pedestrian. He gave a brief 'watch out' and dashed ahead. He made it to the end of the street, so he made a U turn back with the help of a tree. He grabbed on to the trunk and swung around it. The teen was having far too much fun.

The speed he was going grew as did his confidence. Eventually, he met a sudden obstacle that he couldn't dodge so easily. There was a couple of movers with matching pale blue jump suite uniforms and caps. They were carrying a large elongated box on either end. On one side was a small, pasty looking teen with dull hair. On the other was a much more build man with neon green hair. He was going at full speed right at them and there was no stopping him.

"AHHHH," he screamed in panic altering the two of them. The moves froze in shock as the noticed the oncoming boy. Thinking fast, the boy dropped his body and skited just below the box they were hold. His body skited out of control until he spun into a wall. His back crashed onto the brick and he winced at the pain. "That wasn't my best ideas," he groaned while he rubbed his pulsing head.

"Are you ok?"

When his blurred vision become stable, he saw the two movers leading over him concerned. Laughing nervously, he said he was fine. Then the two movers help him to his feet, and he dusked himself off. He bowed apologetically soon after. "I'm really sorry. I didn't see you there and I had my quirk activated. I couldn't stop. I should have been more careful..." the boy then procced to hammer himself down with rambles of endless sorry, begging for givenness and how he should have known better.

The two movers gazed at the boy confused as he spewed out apology after apology. They quickly glanced at each other. Secretly asking the other what to do. Soon, the taller of the two got feed up of the boy's rumbles and stepped up. He clapped his hands loudly and made the boy jump as he choked on his words. A cheesy smile formed on the man's face as he said: "Hi there. My name is Sakuya. This is my partner Lilac." A normal start that he boy followed easily but that didn't last long. "We're both vampires trying to make a living. My best friend is married to his pet cat and our old boss was a lunatic talking fox that abandoned all of us out of nowhere."

Izuku was speechless as his brain tried to process the random pieces of nonsense told to him. The smaller mover now named Lilac he believed become skittish and panicky. He stared at his taller partner unsure of what to do nor what he was thinking.

Playfully, the taller one Sakuya winked and snapped his fingers. "Now how much of that was a lie. Can you tell?"

Dumbfounded, the young hero stared at the smiling mover with a gaping mouth. eventually, that smile became contagious and he laughed along. "Well I hope your names are the truth at least. My name is Izuku Midoriya by the way."

"I can confirm that as a yes," The taller mover responded as he shook the boy's gloved hand. "Sakuya Watanuki the name and up the little guy next to me is Lilac. That much is true."

The shorter male was huddled into himself awhile his eyes dotted about frantically. He gave a small smile and a short greeting.

He acknowledged the timid male with a nod. "It's nice to meet you both and sorry for almost crashing into you."

"Seriously kid, no harm done. So, forget about it," Sakuya swept the boy's comments away hoping to avoid another apology ramble. "What's the rush away?" The young hero then went on explaining he was just doing a quick training exercise. Well it wasn't so quick anymore since he took a stop. Hopeful the harsh old hero won't punish him too much. "Huh I see. Well if that's the case you should run off now kid. Wouldn't want you to get into trou…" his words were lost while his heart leaped to his throat. Eyes cracked in fear as he unconsciously stepped back. Even his smaller partner shrugged away further. Trembling just a little more.

Their sudden change of attitude was hard to miss. Concerned, Izuku hesitantly reached out to the two of them. Then he felt a familiar weight nesting on his head. He instinctively looked up with a smile as spotted a part of black paws. "Oh, hey there, Kurama. Sorry did I took too long?"

Curling to the boy's curls the fox nodded calmly. "Indeed, I was beginning to worry." The fox's red eyes then target themselves to the spooked movers. "I see you have some company, my Eve."

The two movers step further away. The way the fox stressed out the word Eve confused them. Sakuya then scanned the boy from head to toe. He couldn't find what he was looking for, but he understood none the less. He gulped down his heart and forced a brave smile. "Eve huh? So that's what you've been up too." He whispered making extra sure the boy couldn't hear him. Swiftly, he turned away not wanting to meet the fox's eyes. He grabbed his partner's shoulder and warned him of any sudden movements with a squeeze. "Come on let's finish the job," He said. Although his tone was bright his expression was anything but. It was dark. His eyes were twitching irritability, and his lips formed a crazed smile.

Lilac knew better than to disagree with him. "Yeah, we should get back to work."

The fox nodded once and looked down to his Eve. "Come along Izuku. We have work of our own to do."

Hesitant, Izuku look back at the movers. Sakuya refused to turn back while the timid Lilac started back at him with pleasing eyes. He felt like he's missing something. He wanted to ask but he had an even stronger feeling he wouldn't get any answers. So, he decided to just end things for the day and bowed one last time. Then he turned away without saying anything else. His fox looked back once more. Daring them to try make a move. Of course, they didn't and soon became specs at the distance.

For better or worst that's how the unexpected reunion ended. With our poor young Izuku kept in the dark. But for how long will that last.

In the safety of the darkness one man contemplated. His eyes not eyes 'looked' at the scream before him. Videos images of places all over japan and further. Although his focus was locked on one. A jail cell with a certain white hair villain teen. The older teen was lazily lay on his bed stared at the ceiling. He's been like that for a good hour. Days even. That little hero hasn't visited in a while. By his sources the child should be out on work placement. This could be a prime opportunity. The man hummed in deep in thought. What to do? What to do? He waited all this time just to see if the young man could get out himself. While the teen did have a couple of tries, although he seemed to have given up now. How unfortunate. That hero boy was defiantly to blame. So full of shine and sincerity. He'll destroy everything if he waits longer. He must make a move soon to get that teen villain out of there or his plans will be ruined.

Humm. Perhaps not completely. That boy has obvious gotten attached to his experiment. He could use that to his advantage in the future. Allowing them to bond might have been an accidental benefit. Still he couldn't allow this to continue longer. He must make a move.

Hummm. That hero killer could be a useful scape goat. Judging from his recent patterned he'll most likely strike in Hosu again. If he creates a little more chaos it would be the perfect distraction to save the boy. Not only that but if all goes well, he could use the hero killer further. He already made the building blocks of a video just for the possibility. Yes, if he could link the hero killer with the teen's raiment band of villains, he could salvage something great.

With a deviously smile he makes a call. "Doctor, prepare the Nomus."

AN: Believe me or not but this was one of the fastest written chapters I have ever done in a long while. I started this chapter the day after I finally posted the climax of that stupid for one of my other words. About 10 ish days of production. I guess the main reason was that this was a very simple chapter. Not much going on other than set up for this next mini arc. I hope it was somewhat enjoyable still.

That and whenever I imagine Gran Torino and him interacting it always ends up with them laughing at the expense of poor All Might. Which I'm completely ok with. Anyway, enough I my random thoughts let's move on to these Reviews:

CallmeCrazylol – ah yes Iida. Poor, poor Iida. I would agree what he did was unheroic, but I will also counter argue that if you see a love one that much in pain wouldn't you want to do something. I'm not saying what he did was right. Only that he needed to re direct the anger to something more productive than going on suicide mission of revenge. Although keep the idea of revenge in mind. I will be playing with that idea again.

zero fullbuster – thank you and an also see another comment for you friend so…

zero fullbuster part 2 – I hope the 16 day wait for when this comment was posted wasn't that bad. I know it was longer. My god that last exam chapter. So many rewrites. So many. Either way here it is and when will the next on. I don't know schoolwork will take priority of a bit then the next chapter of another fic of mine. So yeah…

TWINS OF PRIMUS – if it hasn't been obvious yet I am a very slow updater. So sorry. Also, we don't have the eves and servamps yet, but we got these guys. For now. As for Izuku's dad… I am sorry for the things I have done to this man.

Victoria1676 – oh I read the Servamp manga. Not as religiously as MHA but I read it ever once and awhile so I'm not completely up to date. So, let me check out this new look. (goes off to read chapters she missed) … my god. That happened. Well I probably won't use most of those plot points. So sorry Tsubaki you won't be getting that crazy upgrade. You didn't hunt down your siblings is this fic AU. Although I could use that new eve. Excuse me as I recon one chapter eventually for that.

Wildtrance – neutral deception was adorable and sad but mostly adorable. I swear I have a very peculiar weakness to the Tomura x deku ship and I don't know why.

As for who subclass dose Stain belong to… I have vaguely answered that in this chapter. So, there you go. Also, you're not completely wrong about the Licht, Hyde and Endeavour. I don't know when and I don't know how but eventually these guys will meet. Then hilarious chaos or something.

4311KING -humm. I don't know what that means but ok.

MyNightmarse – for me what makes a good crossover is when the characters remain in character and they clash with other characters. So, I try to be as acute as possible and I'm glad you see it that way. An thank you for the luck. I will need that greatly as once again school must become a priority. As well as the next chapter of one of my other works. I FINALLY GOT OUT OF THAT STUPID EXAM ARC!

Any way that's all. Next time the hero killer and Tusbaki's past catching up to him. That will be fun.
