Well, here we are. Back again for another exciting chapter. Last we left off it looks like something strange has happened to Lily. What could it be? Will Frieza and Carter be able to find her? Enjoy :)

"Are you sure on the accuracy of this navigation system? I feel we would've found something by now." Frieza said, clearly annoyed.

Carter gave him a look. "It's as accurate as your size, short stuff."

A vein was pulsing on the side of his temple. 'Don't kill him, you need him right now.' He kept chanting in his head. 'There's always time to kill him later, after they successfully rescue Lily. Though she wouldn't be happy if he did. Frieza already promised her he wouldn't kill anyone else. This bastard doesn't know how truly lucky he is. Well, it doesn't mean I can't 'play' with him a little. When this is all over.' The navigation system on the dash started beeping.

"See we're almost there, just a little further around this turn." Carter told him.

Though as soon as they made that 'turn', they came upon a solid wall of rock.

"Look Out!" Frieza shouted causing Carter to slam on the breaks.

They cleared the stop a mere meter from the rock wall. "Nice Navigation System, you almost got us killed you Imbecile." Frieza snapped at him.

Carter pressed the screen. "According to this, there's something beyond this wall."

Carter hopped out of his car and walked up to the wall. As he got closer, he put his hand up to it. Once his finger tips touched it, the rock wall started to ripple around his hand. Then he cautiously put his hand through it.

"That's what I thought, a camouflage entrance." Carter said, mostly to himself.

He didn't hear Frieza approaching. Until he stood next to him and pressed his own hand through it.

"This must be their base. I think we should continue on foot. Your vehicle is too big and conspicuous. Find somewhere to park it and then we will head in." Frieza ordered.

"Sure thing Boss, whatever you say." Carter replied sarcastically.

Frieza narrowed his eyes at him. "You do remember our plan, don't you?"

"Of course man, we only went over it a half a dozen times last night. Let me just get a holographic scan going here. So I can get a map of the area." He held his wrist com up to the wall and a red beam materialized. It started scanning the entrance. Then moments later, a map popped up of the hidden area. According to the map, majority of it's levels were...underground?

"Looks like we're taking a trip underground. Hope you brought your hard hat." He quipped.

"Let's stop dawdling and go. Unless you prefer to stay here and wait." Frieza said, growing impatient.

"No, your not keeping me out of this. Lily along with many others could be trapped down there. I didn't come all this way to sit on the sidelines." Carter replied.

With that, they stepped through the camouflage entrance. All it was was a small cave with lights lighting up the tiny space.

"According to the map this part here is the.." Before he could finish the floor starting sinking. "Elevator." Carter finished.

They hit the first level. Which branched out to four separate hallways. Everything was stark white down there. On the wall next to each hall, was a diagram and list of rooms down each hall. On the list to the second hallway on the right. They saw a room listing for medical gear, so they headed down that way. They didn't make it far, before two people in white full body lab scrubs and gas masks came walking up to them.

"Who are you? Where are you stationed at?" They asked.

"Pardon me gentleman, but my fabulous little boy toy here and I come to see the sights. I was wondering, how is it you keep everything so pristine?" Carter ended with an arm around Frieza's shoulder.

The two scientists looked at each other then one said. "Get Them."

Frieza executed a nice jumping roundhouse kick to the side of the scientist's head. Knocking him out cold. While Carter kneed the other in the gut than sucker punched him in the side of the head.

"Well, we don't have to find the gear room anymore. We have some perfectly good gear right here." Carter exclaimed.

Frieza gave him a punched to the kidney. "Don't ever do that again." He grounded out.

Carter maintained his composure after a few moments while mumbling. "I don't know what the hell she see's in your hostile ass."

They dragged the unconscious men into a side room. Which happened to be a large broom closet. They stripped them down and dawned the gear themselves. Then used fabric strips they found in the closet to tie their arms and legs together. Then tied a strip around their mouths.

They left the closet. While Carter was trying to figure out a way to lock it. Frieza slammed his fist into the control panel, causing the locking mechanisms to engage and jam. Carter just shrugged his shoulders and shook his head. They didn't see listings for the holding cells anywhere on this level. So they went to an elevator down the hall and took it down to the next floor. Instead of scoping out each hall and room. They just looked at the diagrams and room listing at the beginning of each hall. Still nothing here about holding cells. So they returned to the elevator and went down again.

Finally, they found the hallways that labeled 'Holding Cells'. That's the only listing on each wall. This whole floor contained the holding cells. Now where to start looking.

"Let's split up. You take a hallway and I'll take another. When you go up to the doors, put your finger on the door right in front of you. A small area should become transparent, allowing you to see who's in there." Carter said.

Frieza gave a brief nod and headed down the first hall on the right. While Carter took the first hall to the left. There were other scientists roaming the halls but paid them no mind, because no one could see who was underneath the medical gear. He swiftly started checking each room. Carter was right, all Frieza had to do was touch the door in front of him. A small transparent window formed, allowing him to see who's inside. He made it near the end of the hall with no luck. He was at the second to last door on the right when he looked in.

This room was occupied by a young teenage boy. He looked up from the cot when he saw the window in the door. He came rushing over.

"Hey man, what did you douche bags do with Lily!? Where did you take her?" He yelled.

'Lily? He's seen Lily?' Frieza fished out the key card in the outfit's pocket and went in. He pulled off his mask.

"You know Lily? Where have you seen her?" Frieza asked him.

The boy furrowed his brows. "Your not one of them."

He grabbed the boy by his shirt lifting him off the ground losing the little patience he had left. " I said where have you seen her?"

"Whoa dude, calm down! Put me down and I'll tell you!" The startled boy said.

He dropped him and the boy landed unsteadily to his feet. "She occupied the cell right next to mine. She managed to get out and free a few of us. But we ran into the security guards. They subdued us and put us back in our cells. But they took Lily away. Probably to the experimentation room. Which is the floor below us."

With that new round of information, Frieza put the mask back on and turned to leave the room. The boy quickly followed Frieza out of the room.

"Your Frieza aren't you? Lily talked about you." The youth said.

He paused for a moment after hearing this. Then continued to the elevator. They went down to the floor Lily was supposedly on. This level was different, there was only one main hallway on this floor. He quickly read the room listings and found what was labeled the 'Experimental Lab'. There were way more scientists on this floor. Nobody questioned why the boy was there. They automatically assumed he was with Frieza, still in his getup. He made his way to the transparent double doors of the lab. No less than fifteen scientists were shuffling about.

That's when he found Lily. Floating in a tank at the back end of the room. He made his way over to the tank. On a digital screen in front of it, showed what could only be her vitals. A couple scientists off to the side were taking notes on their digital pads. Frieza went to the side of the tank looking for the controls to drain the tank and let her out. He couldn't find any.

"Excuse me Sir, but can you please state your business here and tell me why this subject is out of his cell?" One of the scientist asked.

It was now or never. "Where are the controls to the tank? I was told to retrieve this subject for blood and tissue samples." Frieza lied convincingly.

The scientist looked at him suspiciously. We've already obtained such samples from this subject. I will ask again, what is your business here?"

It was then he knew Lily was rubbing off on him when he said. "Fuck It."

He charged the scientist and threw him into one of the tables. A panic erupted and scientists were scrambling about. Frieza started plowing his way through them. While the boy, went to their computers and starting looking for a way to access the tank.

"Hey!" Shouted a scientist who ran towards the boy. But Xander picked up a beaker full of clear red liquid. Then hurled it at the scientist. It hit him in the face and he toppled to the floor, covering his face, screaming bloody murder.

Frieza was making quick work of the weak and powerless scientists. Already, more than half off them were knocked unconscious. Finally, Xander brought up the controls for the tank. He pressed the button to drain it. It beeped a few times, then the water level started going down. Once it was relieved of water, he hit the button to open the tank. Frieza wasted no time running to the tank. He ripped his mask off, got on his knees, and pulled Lily into his arms. He gently removed the breathing apparatus off her face.

"Lily, wake up. Come on Little One." He started patting her cheek then rubbed her arms.

The boy made his way over to see if he can help. He pulled out a first aid kit from one of the desks. "Here, try this."

He handed Frieza something small and thin. The boy took one and cracked it in half. Then held it under Lily's nose. After a moment, she gasped and started coughing. She opened her eyes and squinted.

"Frieza?" Lily said, in a raspy voice.

He smiled. "About time you woke up, Sleepy Head."

He was completely caught off guard with what happened next. She gave him a firm hard slap to the face.

"What the hell took you so long?" She snapped.

Lily couldn't help it, she started tearing up and pulled him down for a hug. It was then, she looked over his shoulder and spotted Xander.

"Hey, what are you doing here Xander?" She asked, clearly confused.

He chuckles. "It's nice to see you again too, Lily."

Frieza was the first to pull back and help her stand. "We need to go now. I'm sure they have alerted someone to our presence here."

As soon as he finished that sentence alarms started going off.

"Think that's our que to get everyone and get the hell out of here." Said Xander.

They moved as fast as they could for the lab exit. As they made it to the hall, a scientist struggling to get up called out weakly.

"No, you don't know what your doing. What you are letting out of here. Our last hope for our future." He collapsed back onto the floor.

They made it back to the elevator. Xander hit the button to the floor of the holding cells.

"What are you doing? We need to go to the top and leave." Said Frieza.

"No, we need to get the other captives out too. We cannot just leave them behind." Xander said.

"He's right Frieza, there are other innocent people here that need to be freed." Lily added.

He was about to argue until he saw the pleading look on her face.

He sighed. "Alright, but we need to move quick."

"Right." Lily said.

They made their way to the floor. When they got there, they were surprised to already see many of the prisoners running free.

"Whoa, how'd they all get out?" Asked Xander.

"That be me kid. Hey Xander, long time no see." A familiar voice rang out.

"Carter?!" Xander and Lily said simultaneously.

"The one and only. I was able to let out as many people as I could with the key card. Then we were able to take out the few scientists and guards on this floor. There are still a few cells left that need to be opened. Then we need to get the hell out of here before they come down with more reinforcements." He said.

They freed the last of the prisoners. Then took the elevators back up to the first floor. Once the elevator doors opened, they were instantly face to face with multiple guns pointed right at them.

"Stay where you are! Don't Move! And put your hands behind your head!" A guard shouted.

It was in this moment, the lights began to flicker. Making everyone look around. Lily lifted her head, her eyes were glowing and she uttered something in another language. As soon as she finished, all the guards dropped to a heap on the ground, unconscious. The lights stopped flickering soon after.

Frieza looked down at her. "Lily?"

She gave him a blank look and then her eyes were back to normal.

"Okay? I don't know what the hell that was about. But lets get moving before they wake up." Carter said, confusion written all over his face.

They made their way down the hall to the main elevator, that would bring them to the surface. Once there, they piled out into the sunlight. Where they were met by a large group of people in what looked like patrol cars.

"Lieutenant, your timing is impeccable." Exclaimed Carter.

"Well, once you contacted us through your wrist com and gave us the exact location of this base. We floored it all the way out here from the city." The older man replied.

"There's more down below waiting to come up. They're taking the elevators up, a group at a time. All of them should be up soon." Carter informed him.

While the Lieutenant and the rest of the squad assisted with the recently freed prisoners. Frieza lead Lily back to Carter's car. Once there, he began checking her over.

"I'm okay." She told him.

"You sure?" He asked.

"Yeah...just a little hungry." She said with a small smile.

He couldn't help it, he started laughing. "You and your bottomless pit of a stomach."

"Hey, the food they gave us down there was horrible and the portions were very tiny. Like it was put together for a small toddler." She quipped.

He shook his head still chuckling. Then did something that surprised them both. He pulled her into his arms and gave her a firm hug.

He turned his head and whispered in her ear. "I'm so sorry, I couldn't protect you Lily. And I'm sorry, it seems I've been avoiding you these last few weeks."

She pulled back to look into his eyes. "What happened at the Spring was not your fault. But...if it's any consolation I forgive you."

He smiled. "Yes, I have the sore cheek as proof of you sincerity." He teased.

She snorted out a small laugh and smiled. He cupped her cheek, brushing a few strands of hair out of her face. Causing her heart rate to accelerate. She got lost in those crimson eyes.

"Lily, what happened back there with those guards?" Frieza asked her.

She opened her mouth than closed it. Not knowing how to answer. Until someone broke the silence for her.

"Hey Lovebirds, someone here has something to say to you!" Carter shouted.

Lily's cheeks grew red and Frieza growled. "Little One, I promised you I wouldn't kill anyone else. But can I make this exception just this onc.."

"No." She firmly said. "If anything, you should thank him for helping you get me and the others out." She told him

He gave her a pained look which she rolled her eyes at. "Oh come on, it won't kill you."

He sighed and turned to face the man. "I thank you...for your help human." He forced out.

Carter smirked, "I think after all the trouble you put me through. I deserve a kiss and a hug from thee fair princess."

Frieza growled. "Why You..."

She grabbed Frieza before he did something to poor Carter.

"Anyways, Xander has something he'd like to say." Carter said, gesturing to the youth beside him.

It was then Xander stepped forward. "I just want to thank you guys. If it weren't for you, we'd still be down there and would've never been found. You have me and my party's eternal gratitude for what you've done for us along with those other missing people."

"Your Very Welcome, Xander. And thank you for helping us out of that lab." She said with a smile.

He smiled and saluted her. "No problem."

'Phew', that was a long and harrowing chapter. But hey, at least Frieza and Carter...with a little help from Xander were able to save Lily along with the other captives. Until Next Time ;)
