The sixth chapter in three days! I'm reaaly rolling here, people!

Thor 2 is out in the cinemas! Ehehehehehe! Finally!

Listen to Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes" when the song comes up. It's a really sweet song, plus, it's more enjoyable listening to it and reading at the same time, rather than just reading the lyrics on their own...

Anyway...

On with the chapter!

Ehehehehehehehehe!

May 1st 2013

"Uggahhhh!"

Ned lifted up a toddler with blonde hair, cooing softly as it grabbed his hair. He sat down with it, bouncing it happily on his knee. The woman in front of them both smiled softly at the pair.

"He's grown since I last saw him…" Ned murmured proudly.

"He'll be three before we know it…" the beautiful woman replied, reaching out and stroking her son's hair.

"How's Lizzie, Bess?"

"She turned 11 in February."

"I missed her birthday?! I'll take her out sometime soon to make up for it."

"She'll want to see you, Ned. Shall I go get her?"

"Please."

Bess exited the room. After a few minutes, she came back with a blonde haired, blue-eyed girl. The girl curtsied to her father.

"My Lord Father…" she said.

Ned handed the toddler to Bess, who exited the room again. Ned held out a hand to his daughter. "Come here, Poppet," he smiled.

The girl slowly walked forward. Ned picked her up and placed her on his lap.

"And how are you, Lizzie?"

"I am well, my Lord Father."

Ned shook his head. "Daddy," he corrected, "to you."

The girl smiled. "Daddy…" she repeated.

"I'm sorry I missed your birthday, Poppet."

"It's okay, Daddy. At least you're home now."

Ned had been dispatched from hospital on April 25th, 3 days before his 29th birthday. It was nice to be back home. His own father had been livid when he found out that Ned had been married for 11 years and had three children- well, almost three. The baby wasn't due till August. His father hadn't taken it out on the children, though. In fact, he doted on them, spoiled them with sweets. Lizzie had adored her grandpapa from the first moment she met him- she never left him, always asking for stories of his early days. York doted on her: he loved her to pieces.

He loved Ned II as well.

Eddie- Ned II- was a sweet cherub. He was going to be three in November. Ned was proud to have such a healthy, strong heir for York's throne, and York, a healthy grandson.

Ned loved his kids. He wished he could see them more often.

And Bess.

Bess- Elizabeth Woodville- was working for the Allies, yet she was married to a Yorkist. Ned had been enamoured by her for years, and when they had married- they had to pretend that they were just "good friends". Up until January of 2013, it had worked- for 11 solid years- but then the fire had ruined everything.

At least his brothers- Edmund especially- seemed to be more forgiving.

Clarence had been outraged, as had Richard. They hated Elizabeth for working with Edouard of Lancaster, and claimed that she was a whore.

That hadn't gone down well…

Ned didn't really want to think about it….

Asgard, two weeks earlier: The Celebrations- Loki's Chambers...

Loki stood on his balcony. It was late. The moon and starts shone this evening- it was a good thing that Thor wasn't in a bad mood. When Thor got into bad moods, he started storms- that's why he was the God of Thunder.

As for Loki…

Well, you know what he is.

He stood there, emerald eyes scanning Asgard, the wind ruffling his raven black, slick, long (ish) hair.

He sighed.

He started to sing….

"Love I get so lost, sometimes…

Days pass and this emptiness fills my heart.

When I want to run away,

I drive off in my car.

But whichever way I go,

I come back to the place you are."

He didn't notice Sigyn slipping in through his door.

"All my instincts, they return

And the grand facade, so soon will burn

Without a noise, without my pride

I reach out from the inside…"

He turns to Sigyn, who is standing there beside him.

"In your eyes.

The light the heat.

In your eyes.

I am complete.

In your eyes.

I see the doorway to a thousand churches.

In your eyes.

The resolution of all the fruitless searches.

In your eyes.

I see the light and the heat.

In your eyes.

Oh, I want to be that complete

I want to touch the light

The heat I see in your eyes…"

He reaches out and stroke a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Love, I don't like to see so much pain…

So much wasted and this moment keeps slipping away.

I get so tired of working so hard for our survival.

I look to the time with you to keep me awake and alive."

She takes his hand, caressing it with her thumb.

"And all my instincts, they return

And the grand facade, so soon will burn

Without a noise, without my pride

I reach out from the inside."

He caresses her check with a thumb.

"In your eyes.

The light the heat.

In your eyes.

I am complete.

In your eyes.

I see the doorway to a thousand churches.

In your eyes.

The resolution of all the fruitless searches.

In your eyes.

I see the light and the heat.

In your eyes.

Oh, I want to be that complete.

I want to touch the light,

The heat I see in your eyes.

In your eyes.

In your eyes.

In your eyes.

In your eyes.

In your eyes.

In your eyes..."

Loki smiled. He held her hand and looked out over Asgard. He then turned to face Sigyn again and brought her closer to him. He ran a hand down her arm and rubbed her nose again against his affectionately.

"Hello, Pet…" he whispered.

"Hello, Kitten…" she replied.

"How'd you get free from the toad?"

"I hid behind a pillar while he stormed ahead, then I took the image of a guard and told him that the Allfather needed him. He ran off. I made my escape."

Loki laughed. "Ehehehehehe. You're learning magic well, Pet!"

"What can I say? I have the best sorcerer in all the nine realms as my tutor."

Loki rubbed their noses again. "I hope you mean me…" he sighed.

"Of course I do."

"Good."

Loki wrapped his arms around her. "I'm going to bed, Pet. You should do the same."

"I've only been in here five minutes! Why'd you call me here if only to send me out?"

Loki tapped her nose with a finger. "Ah, ah, ah!" he cooed. "Surprise!"

"What surprise?"

"Spoilers! Later!"

"Lo-kiiii!"

"Pet!"

"Kitten!"

"Pixie!"

"Lo!"

"Sigyn!"

"THOR!" Thor yelled from outside the door.

"THOR!" Loki yelped in surprise. "What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to see where you'd gone off to, brother!"

"Well, now you know! So piss off!"

"Loki!" Thor feigned offence. "How could you say that to me?

"Quite easily, actually…"

"Love you too, brother…"

Sigyn smiled. "I love you, Thor!" she called.

"Why thank you, Buttercup!"

Sigyn giggled.

Loki sighed.

"Well, I'm off! Have fun, brother!"

Thor's heavy footsteps gradually died away.

Loki sighed again.

He turned his attention back to Sigyn.

"Now…" he kissed her fingers. "Where were we?"

"Surprise," she replied.

"Ah…" Loki grinned. "Yes, I remember now… Come here."

Sigyn grinned back.

She was more than willing to comply…

May 6th 2013…

The school bell rang for another school day. Friday. Everyone was glad that the weekend was coming.

For Anne, though, she felt terrible. She'd woken up with horrible stomach and back pains. Her periods were often late and sudden, so that must be it.

But there was no blood at all.

The bell rang for Period 5: P.E

Anne liked P.E, but today was Cross Country, and she didn't feel like she could cope with P.E today.

She hugged Richard goodbye and entered the P.E block.

She greeted her friends and got changed.

She went outside and started to run.

She could do this, right?

Right?

"Anne? Are you okay?"

Anne looked up through pained eyes to see Kate standing there, concerned.

Anne nodded, clutching her stomach.

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine."

"Period pains?"

"No. There's no blood."

"Stich?"

"No."

"Hey, what's the hold up?!" Rosaline complained, running past and slowing down beside Kate.

"I don't know…" Kate replied, chewing her bottom lip nervously. "Anne doesn't feel well."

"Who doesn't feel well?" Hermia asked, coming up behind Rosaline.

"Anne," Kate repeated, "doesn't feel well."

"What's wrong?" Hermia asked Anne, bending down beside her.

"Pains," Anne groaned, clutching her stomach tighter.

"Period pains?" Hermia asked.

"She said no," Kate replied, shaking her head. "It's not a stich either."

Anne started to gasp.

"I- I think my waters just broke!"

WHAT?
