Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter.

A/N: So I felt like doing some drabbles… and I'm in love with the Marauder's era… so here we go!

Warning: This one doesn't contain extreme Sirius bashing, but he isn't exactly portrayed as the best person… however, if you love a wholesome Remus, you may just enjoy it :)

The whole of Hogwarts knew that Sirius Black, the leather-jacket-wearing, bad boy of Gryffindor tower was a bit of a womaniser. His relationship's consisted of a month's worth of face-eating and silencing charms before fighting and crying, and a couple days later, round two with another girl.

This however, never seemed to stop the stream of girls desperate for even just a month's worth of attention from the famous (or as some would say, infamous) Sirius Black.

But no matter how stupid these girls may be, setting themselves up for what they knew would be a rocky end, Remus always found himself feeling sorry for the poor girl whose turn it was to scream and shout with tears running down her face at a Sirius, who had just been caught in bed with another girl.

That was how Remus found himself making his way to the kitchens with a plan in place. This time it was a Ravenclaw by the name of Katy Ellis, a girl in the same year as him, fifth. She had entered the Gryffindor common room (presumably getting the password from Sirius) and had headed straight for Remus, asking for Sirius' whereabouts. He looked up from the book he was reading and suggested she have a look in the fifth year boy's dorms.

Remus had not expected her to appear again a few minutes later, crying, screaming insults and throwing badly aimed punches at a cowering, half-naked Sirius while a shagged-looking, duvet-covered Marlene McKinnon watched on.

He sighed as he thought back to the recent memory, mulling over whether he would have told Katy to look in the boy's dorms if he had known what she was going to find there as he trekked his way down the steps leading to the basement.

It was one of those decisions that would have to be decided on the spot, Remus thought, tickling the pear portrait to gain entrance to the kitchens. If he said yes, he would have, he would look like he was trying to paint himself out to be an amazing person. But if he said no, he wouldn't have, he would end up looking like a bad person. Yes, it was definitely an on-the-spot decision.

As soon as Remus set his foot down on the stone floor of the kitchens, he was swarmed by the small bodies of hundreds of house-elves. "Nazza!" he called, trying to find his 'usual',as it were, house-elf.

The rest of the small being's backed off as Nazza replied with her normal: "Master Remus, what can Nazza be doing for you today?"

"If it's not too much trouble Nazza, could you please get me a couple of chocolate frogs and a bottle of Butterbeer?" Remus asked, his brow creasing in thought as he added more to that list. "Actually, I should probably request a bottle-opener with that too, and maybe some plastic wrapping, a piece of ribbon and a tag?"

Nazza's large, brown orbs filled with excitement at the request and she gushed out a quick: "Of course Master Remus, those will be with you in a minute, please take a seat!" before she rushed off in the direction of the fridges.

Remus was served a cup of tea as he waited a very short two minutes for what he needed. Nazza was quick to come back with a couple of chocolate frogs and a bottle of Butterbeer, placing them on the table in from of him; she then rushed off and over to a drawer from which she pulled a small metal bottle-opener. She placed that next to the food and drink and clicked her fingers, conjuring the rest of the materials Remus had requested.

"Would Master Remus be needing anything else?"

"Maybe in a little while Nazza, thank you so much for the work you've done already." Remus replied, smiling sincerely down at the house-elf.

Once Nazza had insisted that it was no problem and had gone to help the other elves, Remus set to work, gathering the food, drink and bottle-opener, wrapping them in the plastic wrap and tying it securely with a little red-ribbon bow.

When the parcel had been neatly set aside, he took a quill from his bag and pulled the tag closer to him.

Katy,

You may need some cheering up after today; I find that chocolate and Butterbeer is always a great help, don't cry for too long, he's not worth it. Hope you enjoy the package,

A nice person x

Remus tied the tag to the ribbon and asked Nazza to place it on Katy's bed for him. He smiled a little as he fell asleep that night, just as a girl with a blotchy face stumbled into her own dorm on the other side of the castle. Said girl let out a wet chuckle upon seeing the small package. She drifted off to sleep with chocolate around her slightly smiling mouth and a tag clutched firmly to her chest.

You know, it's kind of funny, I've never written nor read a drabble, all I know is that they are generally under one thousand words long, with no real plot and usually show the relationship between two characters, let me know if there's more that I may need to know ;)

I hope you liked it, please try to excuse and spelling or grammar mistakes, have a great day/night!

Stay safe,

bowwow :)
