Hey, we're back with the next chapter! After a long journey, they're all finally returning back home to their worlds! Whereas Goku and Vegeta are happy to be back. Lily must make a difficult decision. She misses her home, family, and friends. But could she live with leaving her new love with Frieza behind? Read and find out. Enjoy :)
After an audience with the other deities Gaea returned them currently back to her earth first.
"I need to do one last task here first before returning you all home. It is true the dead must never be brought back for it disrupts the life cycle. But in the case of all the innocents slaughtered by supernatural means like the demons; this is an exception I can agree to correcting." Gaea stated.
She levitated a few feet up in the air and raised her hands to the sky. She closed her eyes and began chanting in her ancient tongue once again as her aura began to glow bright white and the symbols on her skin began to glimmer. There was a bright flashed that shot through the sky and circled the earth. It lasted only moments before she came back to the ground.
"So what did you just do right now?" Asked Goku.
"I brought back all the unfortunate souls who met a grizzly end by the demons and returned them back to the living world." Gaea said.
"Whoa, so you brought them all back to life then?" Goku said, clearly surprised.
She smiled. "Correct."
Goku scratches his chin. "Hey, I've been meaning to ask. What is that weird language you keep talking in?"
"It is called Sumerian. It is the oldest language of this realm. The very first one I've created that the immortals speak and ancient mortals first spoke upon their creation." The deity exclaimed.
"Okay, cool." Goku said.
"So does this mean you can send us back now?" Asked Vegeta.
"Of course, a promise is a promise." She quickly peaked into Vegeta's memories and found a location. She raised her hand up again and they finally left that earth and it's dimension behind for good.
The reappeared, right in the middle of Bulma's living room. Startling the hell out of her, Trunks, and baby Bulla. "Vegeta? Goku? is that really you?"
Bulma wasted no time in tackling Vegeta into a big hug with Trunks right behind her.
"You guys had me so worried! Where have you been?! You've been gone for several months and...what is Frieza doing here and who is that!?" She finished by pointing a finger at Gaea.
"He was stuck with Kakarot and I on another world in another dimension. Along with Lily." Vegeta exclaimed.
"Okay, but who's Lily?" Bulma asked.
"That be me, nice to finally meet you Bulma, Trunks." Lily said.
When Bulma looked back, she looked completely different now. Like a normal human woman.
"Sorry for startling you. I had no idea she was going to pop us back into the middle of your home." Lily explained.
"What do you mean? And who's this 'she' your talking about?" Bulma asked again.
"The one you saw before when we first appeared. The Goddess that is currently inhabiting my body. She kind of comes and goes as she pleases." Lily told her.
Goku piped in. "Yeah Bulma, Lily was transported to our reality by that evil sorcerer guy. And ironically she was transported to Lord Beerus's World while Vegeta and I were there training with Whis."
Bulma gave her a once over. "You mean to say she's from another reality?"
"Yeah I am, but the Goddess I was just telling you about, 'Gaea' she's going to send me back. I do miss my family, friends, and my dog. I want to make sure they're alright and let them know I'm okay." Lily informed her.
With each word she said, Frieza felt another jab to his heart. But he knew it was her decision. After all, Lily doesn't belong here. Bulma then went up and gave Lily a hug.
"Thank you, so much for bringing them back. Don't be a stranger and please come back and visit if you can." The older woman told her.
Lily smiled. "Oh, I won't be gone long. I'm just going to check on everyone back home and then I may come back here. Possibly to stay if I can."
Frieza looked at her wide eyed. "You are?"
Before Lily could answer him Bulma cut in. "And what the hell you still doing here? Get out right now."
"Whoa, hey Bulma take it easy. He helped us against that sorcerer guy. In fact, Frieza was the one to defeat him. If it weren't for him, we may have not made it back and our universe would've still been in danger." replied Goku.
"What?" She said not believing her ears.
Vegeta sighs. "Unfortunately it's true. That sorcerer took our powers leaving us powerless. Frieza was the first to gain his back and defeat him."
Frieza not liking the attention, decided to leave the house. He walked out to the spacious balcony of the Brief's home. The same place they left, and came back to after the tournament. He rested his hands on the balcony railing, looking up to the sky. He felt a small hand on his shoulder and didn't have to turn to see who it was.
"They still chatting about their endeavors in there?" He asked.
Lily stood next to him. "Yeah, Goku and Vegeta are telling Bulma and Trunks about everything that happened while they were there. While Bulma told them that after they disappeared; Whis and Lord Beerus transported her and Krillin to safety. It's funny how animated Goku gets when he tells his stories." She finishes with a slight chuckle.
Frieza was silent for a moment and never took his gaze off the starry night sky.
"Your leaving to go back home. I'm happy you will be able to see your loved ones again. As I'm sure they all miss you. But what did you mean you may return to stay? And why would you? When everything you've ever known is back in your own reality?" He asked.
Lily gives Frieza a sad smile, as she too looks to the stars.
"It's complicated, I miss them all so much. For a long time, I wanted nothing more but to return for good. But things are different now. If I returned home and never came back here, I know it would never be the same. I will never be the same, and there would always be a hole in my heart if I could never return here."
He finally turned to face her. "And why is that?"
She turned to face him and smiled. "You of course, silly."
Frieza gave her a sad smile and grasped her hand, stroking the back of it. "Don't let me hold you back. You can still have a life back home..."
"A life without you?" She said with tears in her eyes.
She shook her head, "I can't do that. I finally found someone special to me. I just can't leave you behind, and go on with my life like nothing's ever happened. I Love You Frieza."
He pulled her in for a hug and held her. "You remember some time ago, you said that we are responsible for the choices we make. That we do have the ability to change our own paths if we truly wish to?"
"Yeah." She replies.
He gives her a small smile. "Well, this is it. As of now I'm choosing to change that path and...I choose you. I will not be returning to my ship, nor continue decimating other worlds. I was thinking of settling somewhere. Possibly here, since earth is your home. I made this decision in case you ever decided to return. I'd be here, where you could find me when and if you returned."
She gave him a teary smile and lightly kissed his lips. "Then my decision is clear. I know what I need to do. I will return here shortly. In the mean time, is there somewhere I can drop you off?"
He just shrug. "I don't know. Everyone I know here hates me. I doubt anyone would allow me to stay."
"What about Lord Beerus's World? I doubt they would mind the company." She offered.
"I suppose that will suffice for now." He replied.
It was then Goku walked out onto the balcony. "Well, I better get home to ChiChi and Goten. Maybe stop by Gohan and Videl's place first on the way."
Lily gives him a teasing look. "Why do I feel you want to delay your return home, because your afraid to endure ChiChi's wrath from being away for so long?"
He began giggling while rubbing the back of his head. "Okay, yeah. You got me there. Hopefully she won't be too mad about it. Where you guys headed?"
"Well, I was going to drop off Frieza on Lord Beerus's World. Then I was going to stop home in my own reality. But I will be coming back shortly after." Lily told him.
He blinks. "Really? I thought you'd be happy to go home. Why would you want to leave it again? Is it really boring or something?"
She starts laughing. "No Goku, it's not that. I just happen to like it here is all and would like to come back."
"Okay, cool. But why are you bringing Frieza all the way out to Lord Beerus's World?" Goku asked.
Freiza snorts. "Isn't it obvious? I can't stay here at the moment. Everyone here hate's me and would sooner try to kill me in my sleep than let me stay."
Goku smirks. "You could always stay at my place. ChiChi might be mad at first but she'd get over it."
Frieza's eye twitches of the thought of living under the same roof with that monkey. "No thanks, I'll pass. Beerus's World will suffice for now."
Goku shrugs. "Suit yourself, anyways I'll see you guys later. Good bye Lily and Good Luck!" Then he flew off in the direction of Gohan's house.
Vegeta, Trunks, and Bulma; who was carrying a wide awake Bulla stepped out on the balcony.
"So when are you heading back?" Vegeta asks Lily.
"I guess now, and don't worry Vegeta. I'm taking Lizard Boy here with me." Lily teased.
Bulma started laughing at the little nickname. While Frieza rolls his eyes at the name.
"Okay hun, but like I said don't be a stranger and come back and visit soon." Bulma repeated.
Lily gives her a soft smile. "Don't worry, I will. It was nice to finally meet you all. I'll see you guys later."
Gaea then emerged and within moments, her and Frieza disappeared. They reappeared in the training fields right outside of Lord Beerus's Tree. Whis who was already out there enjoying some tea and food with Lord Beerus spotted them and made their way over. Gaea who was still present observed the ones approaching. Once they were in within five feet of each other Whis and Lord Beerus gave her a hard stare at first.
Then to their surprise, Lord Beerus dropped to a knee and bowed his head. Whis followed suit and gave his own little bow.
"Greetings My Lady, I am Lord Beerus. Welcome to my World. And forgive me for asking, but what brings you here? I thought I knew every deity here, but I don't recall ever meeting you."
Gaea bows in greeting. "Pleasure to meet you Lord Beerus, I am the Goddess Gaea and Creator of my own realm in one of the many dimensions that separate your own."
"Very nice to meet you Madam. I am Whis, Lord Beerus's faithful attendant." Whis said.
"And why have you brought Frieza to my World, Goddess?" The destroyer asks.
"I humbly ask you allow him a residence here for the time being. It's very temporary. Just until I return. I give you my word I shan't be long. I merely have a few affairs to settle and should be back by the end of the day." She informed him.
Lord Beerus didn't like the idea of having the tyrant on his world. But he will allow it upon the deity's request. "Of course Goddess, take as long as you need. But if he wrecks the place, a punishment will be in order for him." Lord Beerus finishes with a menacing stare at Frieza.
He holds up his hands. "Lighten up Lord Beerus, I'll behave."
She couldn't resist anymore Gaea retreated letting Lily take over.
"Surprise!" She says with a shit eating grin.
Lord Beerus's eyes pop out of his head and his jaw drops open.
"What!?" He yells in confusion.
While Whis covers his mouth in surprise. She started to laugh.
"Miss Lily, care to explain?" The blue angel asked.
"Long story Whis, but lets just say Gaea at the moment is inhabiting my body. She tends to come and go. That's why we were able to make it back to this reality. We had a run in with her and she helped us get back here." She told them.
Lord Beerus rubs his chin. "Interesting, no wonder why her divine energy seemed different than the other deities here."
"I also hate to say hello and good bye. But as she stated I or 'We' have somewhere to be." Lily said.
"Your inquiring about you own reality correct?" Asked Whis.
"Yeah, she has the power to teleport between different realities. And she's helping me get back to mine. I miss everyone there and want to make sure they're alright. And let them know I'm alive and well." She further informed them.
"And you can't bring Frieza with you?" Asked Lord Beerus.
"No, for one aliens don't walk around freely on our world. Two, if he did it would cause a massive panic and most likely in him getting captured and most likely experimented on by our scientists. I couldn't really leave him on earth here because well...they're not his biggest fans. So I'm sorry, the only option I could think of is here." She told him.
"And his ship?" Whis asked.
Frieza finally speaks. "I'm not going back."
"Why? You have an empire decimating worlds. It's what your good at." Says Lord Beerus.
Frieza looks at Lily. "I've found better reasons not to return."
Whis blinks a couple times than laughs. "Oh, I see now. You fell for our Lily Bug too haven't you? How adorable you two are."
'Wow, Whis point out the obvious a little more why don't you?' Both their faces turned bright red.
"Okay, okay go visit your home. We'll watch your boyfriend here while we wait." Lord Beerus says as he starts shooing her away.
"Do you have to keep making it obvious?" Said a not so amused Frieza.
Lord Beerus just smiles. "Better get over it, because it's been a while since I had any good sparring and right now your looking good for it."
Lily sighs. "Okay, I'm leaving now. Whis can you just make sure Lord Beerus doesn't accidentally kill Freiza while I'm gone?"
"Sure thing Miss Lily and good luck." Whis said.
To add fuel to the fire she ran up, threw her arms around Frieza's shoulders, and gave him a big kiss in front of the destroyer and Whis. Then Gaea appeared and she left.
Whis just smiled. "I must say, your going to have your hands full. She's quite the spirited one."
"And quite the pain in the ass at times." Lord Beerus added.
All Frieza did was shake his head and smile whispering. "I know."
Well that was a nice little reunion. Couldn't resist adding Whis and Lord Beerus in this chapter. What can I say, their a couple favorite characters of mine. Meaning you may see more of them in the future. Until Next Time ;)
