Here we are everyone! The very last chapter to "His Frozen Heart". It was a lot of fun writing this story. But don't worry, I already have a few more ideas floating around for more future stories. Enjoy :)

7 Months Later...

Lily and Frieza were enjoying a warm evening at home. On a large outdoor swing behind their home. The last few months weren't too bad, though there were some rough patches. Her cravings would fluctuate, and to say her moods changed like the weather; was understatement of the year. She go from being happy as a clam one minute to making a one-eighty and crying her eyes out. As they drew closer to the end, Frieza became even less comfortable leaving Lily home alone. This lead him to limiting, and then finally halting his time away for training.

Frieza never missed any of Lily's ultrasound appointments. He was fascinated by the images of the baby on the ultrasound machine. As the baby grew bigger, by the third trimester they could make out more of the baby's features. There was no tail present, her feet looked to have five toes instead of three, and her overall body structure points out to looking more human than arcosian.

They will know more once she's born. For now, the anxious parents-to-be were just glad she was growing normally and her heartbeat was strong and steady. They loved leaving with new print out pictures of their unborn child, and would sit around pointing out all the cute little features they could see. The only thing Lily didn't approve of, is Frieza having his nose buried in human pregnancy books.

Ever since he took to reading them. Frieza would worry and freak out about all the things that could go wrong during pregnancy and birth. It got to her so much, Lily even went as far as to hide the books. Or give them to Bulma, to get them out of the house altogether. One day, she caught him on the computer trying to order in more books on pregnancy and birth. Out of anger, Lily slammed down the laptop's top, and threatened to cut off his balls and throw them in a blender if she caught him with anymore of those books. Frieza opened his mouth to argue but quickly closed it when he saw a dangerous glint in her eye.

Yeah, it was pretty crazy these last several months. But at the end of the day, they would just laugh it off and forgive each other. Lily worked all the way to the beginning of her eighth month, before taking her maternity leave. Another teacher's assistant would fill in for her. Until she returned back to work. Bulma, Videl, and ChiChi would go with Lily to pick out a crib and furniture for the nursery. When she settled on a set, she had them ship it to their house.

Frieza was in charge of assembling the crib, dresser, and changing table. Which was very fun to watch, because despite going through the directions; he was having a hard time putting it all together. Lily suggested he get some help from Goku or Gohan. She would never bother asking Vegeta to help with such a task. Knowing he still wasn't too fond of the former evil emperor. At first Frieza refused, trying to convince her he could do it all himself.

A couple months later, with little improvement on the matter. It eventually lead Frieza to banging on Gohan's door, reluctantly asking for the young man's help. He agreed, and came over that weekend to give him a hand with the furniture. They were able to assemble the crib and changing table in one day then finished the dresser the following day. During her fifth month of pregnancy, they had a small ceremony that officially declared them husband and wife. It wasn't anything big or extravagant, just something small Lily's immediate family and friends.

Which was perfect for Lily, because she was not materialistic and always preferred a small simple wedding. Frieza was the same, and admittedly enjoyed the occasion more than he lead on. He met her Grandfather for the first time, and greatly enjoyed the older man's company. He was surprised when the man wasn't too surprised that his granddaughter had in fact married an alien. He just wanted her to be happy, and if Frieza made her happy then he was fine with it. After talking with him, Frieza also learned where Lily got her sense of humor and smart mouth from.

As much as Lily wanted to invite the rest of the family. She decided against it. She felt they wouldn't be as accepting to the fact she wedded and alien and carried his child. Lily would come up with a solution later, when she would return to her reality for a visit. Of course, Maya and Eric were invited. Just like Maya did for Lily in her wedding. Lily returned the favor, and made Maya her Maid of honor.

Maya also helped out with the baby shower, which was only a couple months after the small wedding. To this day, Lily doesn't know how she ended up receiving nearly 80 baby items off her 40 item registry. She wouldn't be surprised if Bulma or Videl are the ones to go overboard there. Videl even gave Lily a lot of Pan's old baby clothes that she already grew out of. Bulma did the same with Bulla's outgrown baby clothes.

Between the two them, Lily already had a decent size wardrobe for her unborn daughter. Plus, the baby clothes she bought. They can't say they don't have everything they need in preparation for the baby. If anything, they had more than enough. Frieza didn't mind how the nursery turned out, though he wasn't crazy about all the stuffed toys that sat in the crib, and on the small pink toy chest Lily got from the shower. The toys made him shutter ,thinking of the animated stuffed toys that use to torment him in hell. The only thing that stopped him from burning the stuffed toys is that he had to remind himself that they were given as gifts for his unborn daughter.

Back to the present, Lily was sitting across Frieza's lap as he swung them back and forth on the large swing. She was leaning her head on his shoulder with an arm draped around his front and her hand resting atop the other shoulder. While he had his arms wrapped around her middle, resting his hands on her swollen belly. They were in the middle of chatting about an upcoming large picnic Bulma was planning, when Lily gasped and put a hand to her stomach. That was when Frieza felt something wet on his leg.

They looked at each other in surprise.

"Frieza, I do believe my water just broke." Lily informed him.

No sooner did the sentence leave her mouth, Frieza scooped her up and rushed her inside. He sat her on the couch, and told her to call Bulma to let her know it's time. Frieza then rushed up the steps, narrowly missing the dog on the way up. He went into the bedroom closet and pulled out their packed to-go bag, then ran back down the steps. He gathered Lily up in his arms and flew her to Bulma's house.

Bulma was at the door waiting for their arrival. He got them their in only a few minutes. She walked them down to her lab, where there was a bed with medical equipment hooked up to it. Bulma informed Lily, she phoned the anesthesiologist and that he will be here in a couple hours to administer the epidural. Lily was failing miserably at holding in her laughs, while Frieza fret over her and asked her several times if she were comfortable.

"Yes, for the hundredth time I'm fine. Just calm down. If anything, I should be the nervous one here. After all, I'm the one about to give birth soon." Lily told him.

Bulma hooked her up to an I.V. and checked the baby's position with the ultrasound machine. She called in a nurse right after she got off the phone with Lily before. The nurse should be here any minute.

While waiting, Lily took out her phone and gave Gohan a call, asking him to let out Mia in a couple hours and feed her in the morning, then let her out again. Because Lily knew she'd be at Bulma's the rest of the night until she gave birth. Bulma switched on the t.v. for her, and Frieza got her some water. Trunks came in to visit and told her how school was going.

Even his friends Mai, Pilaf, and Chou came into to visit and talk. The first couple hours weren't too bad. Until the contractions started getting stronger. Another hour went by and the anesthesiologist finally came to administer the epidural. Frieza gawked at the size of the needle the doctor stuck into her lower spine, as he held Lily's hands through the discomfort. It didn't take too long to kick in and soon she hardly felt the contractions anymore.

The evening dragged on into the night. Lily and Frieza arrived at the Brief's House around 6:45 at night and by 2:30 in the morning, the time finally came. They prepped her into sitting position, spread her legs, and told her to start pushing. Frieza sat on the bed with Lily. He had one arm around her back, helping her sit up and held her hand.

Pushing was harder than it looked. After a handful of pushes Lily started sweating profusely and had a death grip on Frieza's hand. She was groaning and clenching her teeth with each push. While he gently coaxed her with words of encouragement. Lily felt like she wasn't getting anywhere with the pushing and started to cry. A half hour went by, and she was getting exhausted and cried harder all the while saying, 'she can't do it'. The nurse told her to keep trying.

"I can't, I'm getting tired. She's not coming out." Cried Lily.

Frieza kissed the side of her head. "Yes, you can Love. Just take deep steady breaths. I'll help you with the pushing."

Lily did what he said, and took a deep breath and pushed down. Frieza put his hand on her abdomen, and very gently but firmly pushed down, to help her. They continued this for another ten minutes, until the baby's head; followed by the shoulders squeezed out. The nurse told her she just needed one more big push. Lily took a moment to breathe and on the last inhale, she bared down hard. At the same time, Frieza again slightly pushed down on her abdomen.

Not a few seconds later, a newborn's cries filled the room. Lily laid her head on Frieza's shoulder, trying to catch her breath as he continued to hold her up. The nurse cleaned her off and the cord was cut. The baby was then swaddled in a pale pink blanket and handed to her mother. As soon as Lily held her, the baby ceased her cries.

They were surprised just how human she looked. No one would've ever guessed this baby's father was an alien. She had healthy peach colored skin , a head of dark hair, human ears, hands, and feet. She looked just like Lily.

"Hey Sweetie, how are you?" Said a teary Lily.

Frieza cupped the infant's cheek and lightly stroked it. It was then she opened her eyes, and looked up at her parents for the very first time. Very familiar crimson colored eyes were staring back at them.

He kissed the side of Lily's head and whispered. "She's so beautiful, Love."

They spent the next few minutes bonding with their new daughter. Lily then tried handing her over to a very nervous Frieza. Who was afraid he'd drop her or hurt her by accident.

"Don't be silly, you won't do either. Come on Fearless Emperor, just hold your daughter." She coaxed him.

Frieza swallowed and held out his slightly shaky arms. Lily walked him through it, and told him to support her head. Frieza held her close, and let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding in. He stared down at her, studying her. With eyes that greatly matched his own, she studied him right back.

He finally spoke. "Hello My Darling, I'm your Father."

He brushed some thick hair off her forehead. As he did, she reached up and grabbed his pointer finger with her tiny hand. It was so tiny, it barely wrapped fully around his finger. Frieza got a lump in his throat and for the second time in his life, he had tears in his eyes. Though this time, it was tears of Joy.

"Hey guys, I don't mean to interrupt, but are you finally going to tell us her name?" Asked Bulma.

Lily looked at Frieza and smiled before looking back at Bulma. "Hanna, her name is Hanna."

Bulma smiled. "That's such an adorable name."

Lily smiled and thanked her. "If you want you can let the others in now. I know they're all anxious to meet the new addition."

Bulma left to do just that. Frieza looked back down at their daughter and smiled.

"I Love You, Hanna. You and your mother mean everything to me." He leaned in and kissed her forehead.

When he pulled back she gave him a big toothless grin, as to say she loved them back. Frieza returned her to her mother's arms, so he could wrap his around the two most important girls in his life.

"Just one step at a time.

And closer to destiny.

I knew at a glance.

There would always be a chance for me.

With someone I could live for.

Nowhere I would rather be.

Is your love strong enough?

Like a rock in the sea.

Am I asking too much?

Is your love strong enough?

Just one beat of your heart.

And stranger than fantasy.

I knew from the start.

It had to be the place for me.

Someone that I would die for.

There's no way I could ever leave.

Is your love strong enough?

Like a rock in the sea.

Am I asking too much?

Is you love strong enough?

Is your love strong enough?

Is your love strong enough?

Just one beat of your heart.

Is your love strong enough?

Just one beat of your heart, just one beat of your heart.

Is your love strong enough?

Just one beat of your heart.

Is your love strong enough?

Is your love strong enough?

Just one beat..."
