It was a typical average day in the owl house. Luz had just been accepted into hexide and had been in classes learning all kinds of magic for most of the day, leavin Eda the owl lady and king by themselves for most of the day.
Not that Eda really minded it. The kid needed to learn magic if she ever wanted to be a true witch so her at hexide was the best decision. And besides, even before Luz came to the owl house, she was always only with King, so she was quite used to it.
King, however, had became quite bonded with luz and had gotten used to her and would often sit at the door, looking at it with a trace of longing in his eyes, waiting for her return.
"Eda, is Luz gonna come back?" King wailed. "It feels like forever since she left this morning!"
Eda sighed as she cooked up some potion in the kitchen. "Yes, King, she will. She always comes back in the afternoon."
"I know, but I just miss our times together so much!" King admitted as he climbed up to the couch. "If only there was some way I could get my mind off her with something interesting."
Suddenly Eda smirked and dropped her spoon in the cauldron. "Well would meeting one of my ex boyfriends and pranking him be interesting to you?"
King gasped and his eyes widened. "You gonna show me one of your ex boyfriends and prank them?!"
"Yup! But remember, I'm only doing this to get your mind off Luz. And also to mess around with this specific ex. It's been years since I last saw this human."
"You dated a human?" King rubbed his claws together in glee. "Very interesting."
"Alright now let's go!" Eda took a key out of her hair and pushed a button, which automatically caused a door to appear and open to a specific place in the human world.
"So tell me more about this mysterious human boyfriend…" King eyed Eda smugly.
"Well, I once married him for about 24 hours just to steal his car."
"Wait you married him?!"
"Okay that's enough! Save all questions until later!" She quickly shoved the tiny demon into the portal and walked through it.
It was a typical day in gravity falls, Oregon. Dipper and Mabel Pines were out on a mystery hunting adventure, Ford was in the basement doing some research and Stan was ordering Soos to fix the roof on the outside of the Mystery Shack.
"Hurry up and fix that roof Soos!" Stan barked. "I don't want those raindrops to fall on me when I'm asleep!"
"You got it, Mr. Pines!" Soos beamed as he happily continued to hammer away.
Unknowingly to them, a witch and a tiny demon were walking up to the shack.
"So where does that ex of yours live anyway?" King questioned.
"He should be, oh my god…" Eda quickly grabbed King and jumped inside a bush.
"Hey what was that for I-"
"Shh! Look!" Eda and King peeked out and she pointed to the man in the red fez and black suit. "All right, King, do you see that man in the fez?"
"Yeah, and I like how he's ordering that tubby man around! Maybe he could give me lessons for people to obey me!" the tiny demon grinned at the idea. "Who is he?"
Eda took a deep breath. "That King is one of my ex-boyfriends and the person I married for 24 hours. Stanley Pines."
