Kim Possible: Vamped

Dana felt fear freeze her at first, all those guns aimed at her, and those men, men she knew, staring at her with cold hate and disdain in their eyes. They had never been friendly to her, especially after she had come out, but just now she had the idea they might really kill her, and she couldn't seem to do more than lay there in that dark cargo hatch as the SUV roared down unseen streets, and made crazy turns as they fled the scene of her abduction.
Dana frowned.
What would Kim do, she asked herself as her fear began to ease, and she considered she might just be facing serious trouble if these men got away.
She had no idea if her alert beacon had been received before Mr. Sanders smashed the phone. She didn't know if Ima or Milly were okay, or had woke yet. She didn't know anything. Which meant she had to do something, or they might just drag her off to hide from everyone until it was too late.
For her.
She glanced around, surprised they had not tried tying her up, or something, but she supposed they felt they didn't need to if she was locked in this oversized hatch in the back of their truck. She felt around, even her eyes barely able to make out much, and realized a small tote was near her knees. She reached for it, pulled it open, and checked the contents.
And almost laughed as she found a small mini-flashlight and a broken walkie talkie with the batteries still in it.
Remembering one of her recent lessons, Dana pulled the radio apart with her strong fingers and claws, and went to work. She knew the thing couldn't broadcast with a broken antenna, and who knew what else considering it looked pretty pattered. Only there were several wires she could use, and it didn't have to reach too far if those men had cell phones.
She just had to reach out, and ping them, using a code that anyone looking for her, and surely they were, would intercept, and track. Going to work, she quickly rearranged the wires and then rerouted them to the battery case to set up a direct current before she began tapping certain keys on the walkie that would ping any nearby cell phone, and set off a coded beacon to anyone listening.
Hopefully, the men would not even think of their own phones being used like that.
She kept tapping and kept praying because she really didn't want to have to attack people from her own hometown. Wouldn't that really make up their minds about her if she went all crazy on them? Worse, what if her new mom came back, and decided Mr. Sanders and his friends had to pay for their daring.
That one, Dana knew, was all too possible.
Only that would only bring trouble, too. For both of them.
"C'mon," she murmured, still tapping the keys. "Someone please be listening."

"Are you telling me someone actually hit our own front, and abducted Parker right from under our noses," Dr. Director demanded as she was called in after the two women were found unconscious on the top floor.
"We're reviewing the security footage now," Agent Briggs told her, "And we have everyone in the area looking out for…"
"We've got a signal," Phillip Upps, one of the night shift in communication came in shouting. "She's headed due north on the main highway."
"Get a team in the air, and bring them all back. Fast," Dr. Director said, "Before Kim gets back from her mission!"
They all looked worried at that one and rushed to carry out her orders.

Kim yawned, knowing dawn was close, and while it had no power over her, she had a long, tough mission, and she was ready to sleep since she couldn't nap too well on that Air Force jet that had dropped her off on her way back.
She smiled, feeling more than content as she imagined Dana would likely still be up just now, and getting ready for bed herself, since she still favored sleeping away the morning at times when she had a late shift, too. She walked into their quarters, and called out, "Hey, Dana. You ready for bed yet?"
Only she didn't see her.
Walking over to the restroom door, she found it open and peered in all the same.
"Dana?"
Then Will Du was at the door and staring uneasily at her.
"Where is Dana, Du," she demanded.
"Just calm down. Everything is under control. We have people chasing her kidnappers now."
"Kidnappers," Will heard her snarl, her eyes glittering with crimson light. "Someone took Dana? How? How did anyone get down here," she demanded.
Will grimaced as he backed away from her.
"Just calm down. We're already pursuing. We don't know how they found her, or why they took her, but she went up with Agent Rogers to bring down the nightly lunch order. She was taken…."
"Taken," Kim roared, tearing out of her jumpsuit as her body expanded, and her wings flared as she bared her fangs and shoved Will aside. "You let my child be taken," the redheaded titan swore. "I'll deal with you once I…."
"Stand down," Will shouted, and jumped at her, producing a silver stake he pulled from a sleeve to aim at her back.
"You vile little toad," Kim snarled, catching the stake, and pulling it from his grip to throw down the hall with a noisy clatter. "You will pay for that," she seethed, and backhanded him so hard he almost bounced down the hall in the same way the stake had flown.
She was on him in the same instant, clawed hands reaching when someone shouted from behind her.
Dr. Director was running toward her as Kim turned and simply pinned Will down under one foot as he howled in pain at the very painful stomp that kept him from escaping.
"Kim…. Or is it Krelandra," Betty asked anxiously as she approached the nearly seven-foot redhead with flared red wings and glowing eyes that all but radiated malice just then.
The imposing redhead looked down at her, wings slowly folding around her now bare torso, and eyed her with a grim scowl.
"Where is my child," she demanded.
"Dana is safe. We don't know the details yet, but the abduction was foiled, and we already found the men who took her thanks to her own cleverness. She is safe," Betty assured her.
"Safe? She was taken from us. How is that safe, little woman," the powerful preternatural demanded.
"It was….apparently some parents from her hometown who somehow tracked her, and felt they needed to intervene to keep her from seeing Amy."
Kim snarled.
"Tiny little minds. Tiny little men. Hardly any change at all in all this time," she spat.
"We have arrested them, and they are already in custody. Dana will be back here within the hour," Dr. Director assured her.
Those red eyes fixed on her, one foot still holding a very pale Will to the ground, and Kim nodded her head almost regally.
"Very well. We will give you an hour, and see what comes."
"Krelandra, what of Kimberly? Is she still….here?"
The powerful vampire snorted.
"Silly woman. I am Kimberly," the apparent Krelandra declared. "I am all she could have been. Should have been. I am Kimberly ascendant."
"I see. And….can you still live normally. Among your own," she asked.
"Does this answer your question," Kim asked, suddenly back to completely normal, her eyes green and her fangs gone despite it still being dark. Then she looked down at Will, and declared, "And if you try to stick me with another stake, little boy I'm not saying where I'll put it next time."
"Are you saying…?"
"I was going after Dana. This….jerk tried to stake me when I shoved past him when he tried to stop me. Let's say I was not overly fond of his attempt," Kimberly told her curtly.
"Will," Dr. Director groaned, shaking her head.
"I thought she was about to rampage again," he protested, still flat on the ground. Kim's small foot still holding him down.
"If I were rampaging, little boy," she still called him, "You wouldn't be here now."
"Sounds about right," Ron declared as he and Yori appeared just then, both of them armed for a fight.
"Ron," she nodded. "Yori. You're in early. What's the sitch?"
"You know how it is? Rains and pours? Dementor just broke out of jail and managed to find a nuke laying around somewhere. Wade said he swears to drop it on D.C. if we don't bow down and surrender to him. Along with paying him a small fortune."
"Oy," Kim groaned. "You think that old man would just give it up. Even Drew…."
"So, you in," Ron asked.
"Where is he," she asked.
"Wade tracked him to a less than stealthy stealth blimp hidden over the nation somewhere. We lost him once he took off, though. Wade figures we can force Jack to tell us how to find him, though. You know that guy has all his gear chipped lately after Blaster stole that armored attack car that time."
"Right. So, Dana is safe," Kim all but demanded of Betty.
"On her way back to HQ in our custody even now," she was told by Betty.
"She didn't hurt anyone?"
"She was surprisingly circumspect and played the angle we already put out for you, and let the men show they were the monsters for attacking her for being gay. It will not make them look very admirable, whatever state law says in their hometown."
"Those bigots really need…"
"Dementor first," Ron suggested when Kim started to growl. "He does have a nuke," he reminded her.
"Not for long. Let's go see Jack," she said and headed for the exit.
"Uh, KP? Maybe you should dress first," Ron asked, still blushing.
She looked down, blinked, and remarked, "I guess you are right," and turned to head back for her current quarters.
"Okay," Ron hissed. "What the heck just happened? Because I thought she was still all fangy at night."
"Her other side came out. All the way out. Krelandra and Kim are now one, and they are definitely serious about Dana," Betty murmured.
"I get that. Kim can get…carried away whatever she does. Still, one? How does that work?"
"You don't want to know," Will said, only then sitting up with a groan.
"Du," Ron frowned as if only seeing him. "What are you doing on the floor?"
Yori actually grinned as Will just moaned while Betty shook her head.
"Okay, let's jet," Kim shouted, racing past them in new mission clothes.
"Later, Dr. D," Ron shouted and raced after her.
"Don't call me…."
All three were already gone.
"I think I need a doctor," Will moaned, still holding his chest, not even trying to rise.
They would find three ribs fractured this time. Betty had no doubt Kim had done it on purpose and knew exactly what she was doing.
"If I were you, Will. I'd apologize to Kimberly when she returns. Sincerely," Betty informed him.
Will only moaned.
