HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BLUE! So to celebrate, I wrote a Oneshot with FeelingShipping because A.) they're adorable together, and B.) This rarepair ship needs more fan content, there's too much SpecialShipping stuff. And if you couldn't tell, Blue is the boy, Green is the girl

I wonder where Yellow was.

Blue had been visited by practically everyone he'd ever talked to, on top of Gym Battles. Most people told him that he needed to close the gym down more often and take more personal time, but he rarely listened.

Of course, the blonde Viridian-born trainer had been the only person he hadn't seen. He'd asked Red and Green if they'd seen her, both said no.

"Char," Charizard called impatiently.

"Okay, okay, I get it," Blue said, rolling his eyes and placing Charizard's food in front of him.

The Flame Pokemon narrowed its eyes.

"Are you still upset that you had to be out in the rain for five seconds since it came out of nowhere?"

"Char."

Blue shook his head, "Alright, I'll leave you to it."

"Pika!"

Blue stopped, what the heck is a Pikachu doing here.

Someone started knocking, Maybe it's Red trying to be funny or something.

He opened the door, "Yellow?"

Yellow tucked a hair behind her ear, "Yeah it's me," she said, letting out a kitten-like sneeze at the end.

"You okay?"

Yellow sneezed again, "I was out in the forest and got caught in the rain."

"Alright, come in."

"What?"

Blue crossed his arms, "You're sick, I'm not letting you walk home in the rain, besides I have a spare room."

"I don't-"

"You're not going to be a burden, I'll grab you some towels and blankets, okay?"

Yellow nodded and walked inside while Blue closed the door and turned around.

"Pika," Chu-Chu yawned.

Yellow smiled, "Do you want to head back inside your ball?"

Chu-Chu nodded.

Yellow grabbed the Pokeball and returned Chu-Chu.

"Char," Charizard called.

"Hi Charizard," she said, turning around and placing a hand on the flame Pokemon's forehead.

"So you're mad at Blue?" Yellow giggled, removing her hand.

Charizard nodded.

Yellow sneezed again and smiled at the Flame Pokemon, "I'm sure whatever he did was on accident."

"Oh I see how it is Charizard, you're fine with her but when you get one raindrop on your scales from a storm that came out of nowhere, I'm the bad guy," Blue said, shaking his head.

Charizard snorted in affirmation.

"You're lucky you already ate."

"Seems like you two have a lot of issues to work out," Yellow sighed.

Blue nodded and handed her a towel.

Yellow sat down and began drying out her hair, "Sorry I missed whatever party you guys had."

"I didn't have one."

"Really?"

"I caught Green trying to plan a surprise party and may or may not have threatened to have Charizard hold her really high in the air by the claws."

"You really didn't want one, huh?"

"I had to bribe Daisy to get her to just bring a present, Bill too."

"I'm not sure what I would have done if you did have a big party."

Blue smiled, "I'm not sure what I would have done either, I probably would have just stayed around you the whole time."

Yellow stared at him wide-eyed.

"You okay?"

"Ye-yeah, I'm fine," Yellow stuttered, sneezing again at the end.

"Do you want a blanket or something?"

"Yeah, if you don't mind."

"No problem."

Blue stood up to grab the blanket and left Yellow alone.

"And what did that mean," Yellow said to herself in a hushed yell.

She'd always admired Blue's strength as a Gym Leader and the fact that he helped train her and that they both lived in Viridian City meant that they had grown particularly close. Meaning Yellow often had to remind herself that her schoolgirl crush wouldn't grow into anything special, but that comment made her wonder.

"Yellow," Blue said, snapping his fingers.

"Huh, oh," she said, looking at Blue who was holding a blanket, "Thank you, Blue."

"No problem," he said, holding the blanket out.

Yellow grabbed the blanket and wrapped it around herself, "So, how did you celebrate?" she asked once Blue sat down.

"I had some Gym Battles-" Blue turned to see Yellow raising an eyebrow at him, she'd been trying to get him to take time off from the gym for a while.

"Still having Gym Battles on your Birthday, Blue you gotta take a break sometimes."

Blue nodded, "And then the Johto Dex Holders were SUPPOSED to come together but Gold showed up early so he annoyed me for half an hour before Silver and Crys showed up, and then they bugged me for an hour. Then I had more battles, trained for a bit until Red and Green showed up. Then we kinda hung out until Daisy and Bill showed up, then they left and I trained outside for a bit then the rain came, and he's," he gestured to Charizard, "still mad at me for no reason-

Charizard snorted.

"And then you showed up and here we are."

Yellow nodded.

"What were you doing out in the forest?"

"I don't know, just kinda being alone with my thoughts."

"I wish I could do that more often."

"If you'd actually take time off from being a Gym Leader, you could always join me."

Blue looked at Yellow, who'd wrapped herself in the blanket like a burrito, "Maybe I will."

Yellow felt her face get hot, Did he just, did I just ask him on a date, and did he just say yes?

"Yellow?"

"Huh?"

"It's not really a "date"."

"H-how did you know?" Yellow asked.

"Kinda hard to forget Green screaming in my ear about it."

"Green, I trusted you," Yellow mumbled.

"I always thought you had a thing for Red."

He WHAT? "Really?"

Blue nodded, "I started believing it after the whole turning to stone thing."
"That was an awkward situation for all of us."

"Yep, and after that, I guess it never occurred to me that you liked me back."

"You had a crush on ME?"

Blue nodded.

"So, I guess that it is a date now, huh?"

Blue smiled and moved over to sit next to Yellow. She let out another kitten-sneeze, rested her head on Blue's shoulder, and closed her eyes.

And that concludes my sweet one-shot for my rarepair otp, Have a good Thanksgiving to my readers in the US and Happy Holidays to everyone outside the states.
