Well so far so go at me getting these chapters up each week, I hope to keep up with this momentum but I make no promises. Any who, I do not own Kingdom hearts or Power Rangers just a fan of both.

Chapter 4

Morphing World- RPM, The City of Corinth

Sora, Donald and Goofy had just left Monsteropilus, when one of many seemed to just appear in the lanes in-between, right in front of them. It had been the strangest and scariest thing any of them had ever seen. It was like there seemed to be one world as it martyrized but then it splintered off into many other worlds, each having a different energy sounding it. Using the gummieships's scanners they still were unsure of the energies that surrounded these new worlds, save one thing. Though the energies were different in one form or another the core or bases of the energies was grounded from the same source. Sora of course did not understand most of this when Donald explained it to him, so Goofy tried to explain it a different way. "Think of it like this Sora. You take the seeds from one apple and plant them in different areas around the world. Once they start growing they're affected by the environment around them. Like if it rains a lot in one place, it's sunny all the time in another, or it's a desert area, all of which determine how the new trees will grow and produce fruit. The only thing they have in common than is that the seeds all came from the same apple."

"Oh, well that makes sense." Sora said understanding now as he turned to Donald. "Why didn't you just say that?"

"I did you big palooka!" the duck snapped angrily before they decided on which world they would go and investigate first. They eventually decided on the one that was the closest and found that it was an endless desert save a single dome with one many gates. As they approached the gate they found it open and army strange robots and Heartless attacking some colorfully dressed fighters. With the Heartless there the three travellers didn't hesitate to summon their respective weapons and enter the fray.

The Black Ranger was the first to see the Keyblade welder and his friends and he did a double take that left him wide open for a blindsided attack from a grinder. Dillon stayed standing despite the hit and used the anger he felt at getting hit to take out the Grinder that had hit him. "Alright who called in the runt and his animal friends?" Dillon demanded as he moved onto the group of drones and the strange shadow creatures.

"I don't think anyone of us did but right now their helping to fight against these shadows." Flynn stated as he was the closest to the black ranger. "So concentrate on finishing these guys off and then we'll question them."

Morphen World -Mighty Morphen, Command Center

Riku groaned as he woke with the mother of all headaches, though he pushed the pain aside as he remembered what had happened back in the garden. He opened his eyes and did not recognize his surroundings at all. It was a small room, most likely a medical one, as it held only one bed next to a display console that showed his vitals. Though he was better than Sora when it came to computers he was still not tech savvy like Ienzo. He was trying to make since of readings that were on display when the room's only door opened and Alpha 5 walked in with a red ranger with a gold shield that, Riku wasn't familiar with. "Alpha, what is going on?"

Jason, who was the ranger frowned at him in confusion. "Um- Alpha, do you know him?" he asked turning to the robot on his left.

"I have checked my memory banks and I do not recall him." The robot replied, sounding confused.

Riku frowned at the two. "I don't know what's going on here but Alex, Mickey and I only left Angel Grove a few weeks ago."

"Alex?!" Jason asked in surprise before he stepped closer to Riku, his stance much more aggressive. "I demand to know what happened to her. Are you behind her sudden coma?"

"Coma?" Riku asked worried but suddenly an idea of what was going on popped in his head. "Jason is that you, what year is it?"

Jason was a bit taken back that this unknown teen that knew his name but kept it off his face as he removed his helmet and glared at Riku. "Its 1993, I'm the Red Ranger and leader of the ranger team. But how-"

"I'm a friend of your adoptive sister Alex and we will meet 3 years from now, when she is 15 and a ranger herself." Riku explained as he cut off Jason, hoping that he wasn't about to take a punch to the face. It seemed he didn't have to worry as Jason told Riku to fallow him as he and Alpha left the room. They soon entered what Riku assumed was once the original power chamber before Rito and Goldar blew it up when they tried to steal the Zeo Crystals. There he saw not only a younger Billy but 5 other rangers he did not recognize. "Billy, good to see you again and you three must be Trini, Zack and Kim."

The 4 original rangers Riku named looked at him in shock. "How do you know our names? You don't seem to be a ranger yourself, so who are you?" Zack demanded.

"My name is Riku and I'm a friend of Alex's. Three years from now she comes with me and my friend Mickey to find a lost Keyblade Master named Aqua." He was relieved to see the understanding expression on Zordon's face.

"You are a Keyblade Welder then?" the great sage asked, surprising the rangers. Riku nodded confirmation before he went on to explain up to current events as best as he could without giving away too much information. It was only after he was done that the Pink Time Force Ranger Jen Scott and the Red Samurai ranger Laura Shiba introduced them self's and then Riku asked where Tommy was. He was surprised and confused to hear that their Green Ranger was dead and who had killed him. "But that can't be right, Tommy was alive and the current Red Ranger when we left to search for Aqua." Riku told them greatly confused by the turn of events.

"That's the trick with time Riku." Jen said as she went on to explain. "Time does not flow in a straight line as you think. There are times when events are changed and the path of time goes down a different road. That is why the Time Force Rangers were created nearly 300 years from now, after time travel is invented."

"But this evil version of Tommy, Lord Drakkon, you say he's from a different dimension right?" Riku asked as a very bad thought popped into his mind.

"Correct." Zordon confirmed before he went on to explain. "In Drakkon's world when Jason broke the spell Rita had placed on him to do her evil bidding, he did not join the other Rangers. Instead he willingly returned to Rita's side and helped her to conquer the earth, before he killed her and took complete control."

Roku nodded and then turned to Jason. "When I first brought up Alex you said she was in a coma and demanded if I was behind it. What happened to her exactly?"

"We don't really know for sure what happened to her." Kim said as all 5 of the original rangers now had worried looks on their faces. "It was right after Tommy's funeral and we were all at the wake his mom was hosting at their house. One moment she was fine, standing next to Mrs. Oliver trying to comfort her, then the next Alex just collapsed. They rushed her to the hospital and the doctors have run all the tests they can think of and haven't found anything wrong with her."

"Alpha showed me how to use a special scanner that I was able to sneak into her room and I ran some scans of my own." Billy said. "What the scans showed was that both the Light Shard's energy and the Morphing Grid's that constantly surrounds her are in an unstable chaos. It wasn't long after that Jen woke up and Drakkon attacked the Samurai Ranger's compound."

"You know what I find odd about all this." Zack said as he approached Riku and studied him closely. "With everything that's going on, you just suddenly appear from a ball of light and darkness, out cold. Then when you do wake up you start telling us that you're not only from the future but that you're a friend of Alex's. I find it all little hard to believe, especially without proof."

"You want proof Zack, fine. Alex is not only the Keeper of Light, the Phoenix Ranger but is a direct descendent of the wizard Quill. He was not only the first Keeper, he was a Keyblade Master like myself but a survivor of the fabled Keyblade war. A war that Zordon himself was a part of but has refused to speak of. Tell me if I'm wrong Zordon?" Riku asked looking up at the sage, as did everyone else.

Zordon looked on with an unreadable expression. "Other than the news that Alex is the new Phoenix Ranger, the last being Quill himself, everything you have said is true young Keyblade Master. We can trust him rangers, you have my word on that." He informed them with a relived smile at the silver haired teen.

That seemed to put any doubts they all might have had about Riku aside as Zack backed off, a bit of surprise on his face. Riku nodded his thanks to the sage as he pulled out his Gummiphone, relived to see that it was working and dialed up Mickey. Mickey was relieved to hear from Riku as the silver hair teen moved off to a secluded corner and informed the mouse king of the situation. They didn't end up talking for very long before an alarm sounded throughout the Power Chamber, causing Riku to cut the conversation short. "What's going on?" he asked joining them once again.

"It's Drakkon's forces, their invading." Jen explained.

"Where?" Zack asked.

"Everywhere." Jen informed them as she brought up the map she had made of all the Morphing worlds.

Riku stared as the rangers sent out the warning out to all the ranger worlds, trying to warn their fellow rangers of what was happening. It almost felt like what Xehanort was attempting to do with trying to recreate the Keyblade War but what Drakkon's end game could be, none of them knew. Riku was suddenly brought out of his thoughts as they received a response to Zordon's transmission across the worlds.

(("`KZZZT`… hear me? I repeat `KZZT` transmitting from `KZZZT` location nine six four eight two. Can you hear me?")) Came a women's voice as her image began to appear in the viewing globe, which they all went to.

"We can! This is Jen Scotts. Time Force Ranger. Who am I speaking to?"

(("Oh fantastic. That's wonderful news. My name is Doctor K. I'm the creator and curator of the ranger operator program. Based out of the city of Corinth, and by the look of the chronal and spatial coordinates, a different dimension from yours.")) The women said as her face became clear and they could see she had short brown hair and dressed in a lab coat. (("Our city's been under attack the last eight hours. However my rangers and three unexpected allies have been able to mostly hold the line."))

"You've been able to deal with their Dragon Cannons?" Jen asked in surprise. Thought Riku didn't know what that weapon was, he didn't like the sound of it but he was curious about who the three unexpected allies were.

(("Oh yes those pesky little things if I do say so I, ranger operation series green was able to recover one of them for me. It took some doing but I was able to reverse engineer its effects on my ranger's connection to the Bio-field and counteract it.")) Doctor K informed them.

"Is that something you can repeat?" Jason asked her hopefully, grateful for any advantage they could get over Drakkon's forces.

(("It's… possible. Though from what I can tell every ranger team connects 'KZZZT' differently. It would be a case-by-case 'KZZZT'")) after that they lost the transmission. A moment later they received another transmission from resistance leader of The Coinless Zack from Drakkon's world. He said that despite losing their base they had away to defeat Drakkon and needed to rendezvous at their coordinates. It was after that Jason decided to split everyone up into teams, with Billy, Zack and Trini meeting up with the Coinless. Kim and Jen were taking Kim's zord to the different Ranger worlds to locate and bring back any surviving rangers they could find. At the same time Jason and Lauren would go to Corinth to retrieve Doctor K. Riku, having been left out of the planning approached Jason and Lauren. "If it's alright with you two, I'd like to come along. I can be of some help and I have a suspicion about who it is that has come to aid Doctor K's team."

"Sure but who is it you think it is that helping them fight?" Jason asked confused as they prepared to teleport.

"Oh just my bone headed best friend and two other friends is all." Riku told him with a grin, well in the back of his mind he wondered what had happened to the Alex of his time and if she was ok.

Drakkon's Citadel- Throne Room

Drakkon had an eyebrow raised as he stared at the strange long pink hair man in a black leather coat that stood before him. He had been preparing to leave to take some more Morpher's to strengthen his forces and his connection to the Morphing Grid, when he was told they had a visitor. Drakkon told them that he had more important things to do but it seemed that this Marluxia wouldn't take no for an answer. He had suddenly appeared before Drakkon through what he called a dark corridor, which immediately had the evil ranger's interest. So Drakkon had let him speak and now he was not only interested but curious about the Organization 13's leader Xehanort. There was also the reason why Marluxia had been sent there. "So your leader is looking for someone not only with a strong connection to the light but the Morphing Grid as well. That is what you are asking me correct?" Drakkon asked him after thinking over the information for a few moments.

"Yes Lord Drakkon." Marluxia said in his sweets voice, so to stay on this powerful man's good side. "It's believed that this unknown girl is allied with our enemy, the guardians of light but we know not who she is, what she looks like or most importantly what she is capable of. As you and your forces use that same energy it is Master Xehanort's hope that you can possibly give us these answers. For the right price of course."

Drakkon sat back in his throne as he thought over Marluxia's words, keeping his face blank as he locked eyes with his most trusted and only true friend Finster 5. He could see that like him, Finster 5 had a good idea who it was this Organization was looking for. The question was what he could gain from this new development. "And what does this Master Xehanort think is the right price for such information?" Drakkon asked.

"What is it that you believe would be the right price for such information? If you have it that is." Marluxia said with a smile, unaware that he just lost any chance he had at gain information from the evil ranger.

Drakkon stood from his throne and keeping his true intentions off his face, he approached the treacherous pink haired man. With no warning Drakkon took his saber and plugged it deep into Marluxia's chest. "I believe I know exactly who it is your Master is looking for but I am not one to give valuable information away, for any price." Drakkon hissed in Marluxia ear as he died, his body turning into nothing but a cloud of darkness that soon dissipated.

Drakkon left his throne room and down towards the dungeon once again and this time he was going to wake her up and question the young Keeper of Light. He would get his answers one way or another.

Alex knew what she was seeing was a memory as she was looking at Aqua, who was seated on the same dark beach in the Realm of Darkness where they had lost her trail. She seemed so at ease as she and the tall figure in the familiar black coat sitting on the rock next to her. "Tell me will you stay here?" the figure in the black coat asked her in a deep male voice.

Aqua turned and looked up at him. "I can't shake the feeling that these waters touched another shore I've visited." she informed him before they both turned back to looking out over the dark waters in front of them.

"The Destiny Islands." the man confirmed, surprising Aqua.

"You've heard of them?"

He nodded. "Yes. They are quite lovely- a far cry from this wasteland." He seemed very confident and his words put her at ease once again. Aqua was smiling as she told him that she would be staying, that someone would come for her. They talked a bit more but their conversation was cut off as another figure in a black coat arrived, Aqua being the first to notice. She and her companion turned and they saw Xehanort's heartless Ansem approaching them. Aqua's companion seemed to know him and was surprised to see him there.

"Master, I must have a word with you." The Heartless said as the other man and Aqua got to their feet, the man now pulling his hood back, reviling that he was in fact Ansem the Wise and he was less then pleased.

"Master? So now you mock me." he snapped at man that had taken his name.

"Do you recall those experiments of the heart you bade me cease?" the Heartless Ansem asked as he walked closer to his former master and Aqua, though he didn't seem to notice her. "Among the test subjects was a girl. She had lost her memory, just as I had. But… you can reconstruct memories, you did with Sora. I believe that you have seen the girl's memories."

"What is your question?" Ansem the Wise demanded.

"Where did you put the girl?"

"What girl?" Ansem the wise asked, a small bit of confusion in his voice.

The Heartless looked less than impressed. "Very well. If you will not answer here…" He reached out to grab Ansem the Wise but Aqua knocked his arm away. She took a protective stance inform of the older man, glaring at the Heartless Ansem. "I think you should go." she told him in a cold voice.

Heatless Ansem finally took a good look at her and was surprised when he realised who she was. "A lost guardian of light?" he asked but then he was suddenly amused. "You wait here… for the king, his fool and the trouble maker." he then summand a giant Heartless that knocked Aqua back but she was unhurt by the hit. The fact that she hadn't summoned her keyblade did not go unnoticed, by either of the males.

"Where's your keyblade?" The Heartless Ansem demanded.

"Don't need it!" she snapped at the Heartless before she ran at him, ready to fight him despite being unarmed. She jumped high and was able to land a kick at the hug Heartless's face. She then landed on its back and went to jump clear but it grabbed her leg, holding her upside down, studying her.

"No more. I'll go." Ansem the Wise told the fake, wanting very much to spare the young Keyblade Master, if only so she could continue to wait there for her friends to rescue her.

"You are wise." The fake Ansem said, though it seemed more like an insult to his former master before he then turned back to look up at Aqua. She got her leg free flipped over his head and put some space between them, her back was to the dark waters. "Poor thing. I mustn't leave you with nothing."

Like Ansem the Wise, Alex could only watch as the hug heartless the fake Ansem had summand formed a large and very dark attack. It was sent right at Aqua, the force throwing her backwards into the Abyss, her screams filling the good man's heart with sadness as he fell to his knees. Alex watched as Aqua slowly sank deep into the dark waters, darkness spreading all over her body as it did. "What… is this feeling?" Alex heard the keyblade Master ask herself, her voice being muffled by the water she was helplessly sinking deeper into. The last Alex saw of Aqua her entire body was covered in a thick fog of darkness.

"You now have all but one piece that will lead you to the master of water." that voice, Alex knew it but she could not place from where, as her own mind seemed to be clouded with a fog. "The last piece will come to you when the truth is reviled."

What truth? Alex asked the voice but it was then she felt someone shacking her gently, a new voice frantic and scared. She had no choice but to heed it, waking to a migraine that ripped through her mind as she forced her eyes open, and a groan escaping her. Alex sat up, holding her head and trying to take in her surroundings as a blond haired women she didn't recognize knelt beside her. "Oh thank god your awake, you had me worried for a moment. Are you alright?" the women asked.

"Maybe stop talking so loudly to give my head a chance to clear." Alex unintentionally snapped at her as she noticed the stone walls and metal bars that were around them. "Where are we?"

"Wish I knew." The women said bitterly, lowering her voice so she didn't hurt her companion's sore head anymore with her voice. "I only woke up a few moments ago in this cell, and I have no idea how I got here or who could be holding us. I was hoping that you might have some of the answers to those questions. I'm Zara Rodgers by the way."

"Alex Smith-Scott." the young keeper said as she stretched her neck a bit, making it crake and was relieved that some of the pressure and pain faded a bit. She was unaware that Zara was staring at her open mouth in shock until she got to her feet and looked at her. "What?"

"You're Alex, the Keeper of Light, Phoenix Ranger and one of the 4 Guardians of the ninjetti?" Zara asked in awe as she looked the teenager over, seeming to find it hard to believe. "I thought you'd be older."

"Excuse me, I maybe only 15 but I am as you just pointed out a Power Ranger but how do you know all that?" Alex demanded as she looked over Zara, noting that she had both Ninjetti and Morphing energy around her.

Zara's confused frown grew. "I was told about you by your adoptive brothers Tommy and Jason when you didn't show up at the ranger picnic in Angel Grove Park. Though they wouldn't tell me what you do for a living and the way they talked about you lead me to believe that you were in your early twenties."

It was Alex's turn to frown but then an impossible idea hit her. "What year are you from?"

It seemed all Alex had to do was ask the question for the same idea popped into Zara's mind and she looked at her in surprise. "2004, you?"

"1996, back when Tommy and Jason are using the Zeo crystals, and were the red and gold rangers, 8 years before your time." Alex explained doing the math very quickly in her mind, which was Billy's influence in her schooling. "What in the world is going on? Am I in the future or…"

She didn't get a chance to finish as load stomping footsteps retched both girl's ears and Drakkon appeared a moment later, two red sentries flanking him. "Good both of you guardians are awake. Now I have some questions that require answers and I promise you if you don't answer you will experience pain." he told both of them as he placed his hands behind his back as he studied both of their faces for any type of reaction. He did take note that both of them did have blue eyes, though one of Zara's eyes was much darker than the other. "I'll start with an easy one for you both, do you know who I am?"

The two women exchange confused looks but it was Zara that answered. "You look like Tommy Oliver from my time but your hair is longer."

"But I can tell that you're not." Alex snapped as she glared at him. "The grid energy that is around you is filled with darkness and fear. Also there is more than one connecting source coming off of you, which will slowly kill you if you continue to draw from multiple sources."

Darkkon smiled at Alex, pleased hearing this from her. "So the legends of your abilities are true young Keeper, as you are correct, I am not the Tommy Oliver either of you know, I am Lord Drakkon ruler of this world. It is very good news about your abilities young Alex as I plan to put them to good use but I must ask you, do you know of a man named Xehanort?"

Alex couldn't keep the surprise and small amount of fear off her face at hearing that mad man's name. "Where did you hear his name from?'

Drakkon raised an eyebrow as he frowned at her. "I am the one asking the questions here Alexandria Maria Smith-Scott, not you. If you don't answer the question I will come in there and punish you myself. Now who is he?!"

Hearing this man surrounded by the darkest part of the grid use her full name did not have the usual scaring effect on Alex. Oh no, instead all it did was fuel her anger as light started to surrounded her and her eyes took on a bird like appearce as she glared at him. They all backed away from her in surprise as the light grew till the form of a bird made of fire was around her as she growled. "Never use my full name."

This was the only warning Drakkon or his two guards had before she sent the enraged Phoenix spirit at them. The bars of the cage were melted as it flew through them on its way to strike Drakkon and the red sentries. The force of the attack threw them against the far wall, stunning Drakkon well knocking the sentries out cold. Zara stood there in shock over what she had just witnessed but Alex didn't pay it much mind as she grabbed the blonde's hand and dragged her out of the ruined cell. Zara soon recovered from her shock as the light faded back into Alex and she pulled her hand free of the younger girl's grip. "Now I know why Tommy and Jason warned me to never use your full name."

They quickly ran down the hall, not really sure where they were going but anywhere was better than being near him. "Do you have a plan Alex? Because I hate to admit that this sort of thing is still kind of new to me." Zara informed the much more experienced fighter, despite her being much younger.

"When I struck out at him with my spirit animal I séance a familiar presence in the building a few floors up from our position." Alex informed her as she found a set of stairs and they started to climb them. "If I'm correct about who it is he may be able to help us to not only get out of here but to find out what's going on."

"Sounds good to me, lead the way."

It didn't take Alex, with Zara fallowing close behind her to find the person she was looking for and their timing could not have been better. As at that moment both Zack and Skull of that world and the other, younger Zack from theirs had been found by more sentries and Finster 5, just as they freed Ninjor. The sentries were about to open fire on the group but both Alex and Zara acted, using their receptive powers.

"PHEONIX TAKE FLIGHT!

"NINJA RANGER POWER!"

The Zack's, Skull and Ninjor were stunned as the Phoenix Ranger and the ninja robed Sparrow Hawk hit the armed group from the side, making the Sentries shots miss their marks. Alex summon her twin swords and cut all of the blaster rifles in half, before backing up Zara in taking all of them out. Soon only Finster 5 was left standing as the two women took stances as they faced him and the boys recovered from their sudden arrival. "I suggest you give up before we have to take action against you." Alex informed him as she pointed both of her swords at his throat.

Finster 5 simply looked at her and Zara in shock before he turned tail and ran out of the room, well the boys walked over to them. "Ok, you two showing up was not a part of the plan but thanks for the save. Now who are you two?" the older Zack demanded as he was prepared to shot them both if they proved to be a threat.

Before either of the girls could answer Ninjor, who was now held a carved wooden box spoke up. "The Sparrow Hawk and the Phoenix, two of the 4 guardian spirits of the ancient ninjetti powers. These are indeed dark times if you two are here, along with this." He said as he held up the box for them all to see.

Seeing the box was a great relief to Zara. "Oh thanks goodness, I was wondering where that went. I was starting to fear the worst had happened to it." she said as she walked over and gently took if from the ninja master's hands.

"I hate to interrupt this touching moment but we really should get out of here before Finster 5 comes back with an army of reinforcements." Skull stated as he headed to the side door. None of them argued as they fallowed him out of Drakkon's Fortress, where Billy, both Trini's and other Coinless resistance fighters were waiting.

"They've got Ninjor." Billy said excitedly as the group ran over to them, both Zack's supporting the weak ninja master well Zara, Skull and Alex covered the rear. "Wait, who else is with them?"

The group were a bit weary of the two women until they showed their faces and quick explanations were given. "I almost don't believe my eyes Alex but which world are you from?" the younger Trini asked as they prepared to leave.

"I'm from yours but from three years in the future." Alex told her, happy to see one of the few rangers she thought of as family. "I'll be able to explain better when I have more facts and when were safely back in the Power Chamber."

A/N: So I hope you like this last bit as I had a blast writing it. Now if any of you are wondering why Marluxia was killed off, well that is an easy one. I have never liked him and someone had to go ;) Just a little something to throw you off a little but as alway, please review and tell me how I'm doing.
