Choosing him again and again
"Wow. Wow. Wow. The other was busy to sacrificed their life to fight the war but you still able to act lovey-dovey here? What a lucky couple," said a girl with a light blue hair with a guy next to her.
Hwa Ryun and Khun widened.
"Maschenny Zahard?!" said Khun in shock.
"Po Bidau Lyborick Khun," whispered Hwa Ryun while giving them a very sharp stare.
"Chill both of you. If we going to fight here, there a chance that 100% you're going to get yourself killed," said Maschenny.
"So what do you want?!" asked Khun harshly. He does felt scared because both people in front of him was a high ranker. Even if they fight, he had no chances to win.
"You," replied Maschenny in short.
Khun shocked. He doesn't know why Maschenny wants from him. This elite member of Khun family doesn't have any business with Zahard's army.
He started to sweat. Slowly he stepped behind. The only thing in his mind was 'run away' but where?
"If you going to run, it will be the worse decision ever," said Lyborick and look carefully at Khun.
He scanned him from hair to toes and what the rumour said was true that Khun Aguero Agnes was the person from Khun family who resembles Khun Eduan the most. He also noticed the beauty in Khun and began to blush a little.
"Ehmm," he coughed while covering his mouth with his hand.
Maschenny who was next to him aware of his action, smiled
"Look like someone already fell in love," teased Maschenny.
"Don't speak any nonsense here, Princess," denied Lyborick and immediately take his sight away from Khun.
Khun who heard what Maschenny said, hurriedly put his body in front of Hwa Ryun.
Maschenny released a soft laugh. She never knew that one of Khun family will be good enough to protect their friends.
Hwa Ryun stayed quiet while looking at them. She wants to fight but she knew that she will end up dead. But if she did not fight there will take Khun away. That was their motive here.
"We got a message from King Zahard that he wanted to talk to you," said Maschenny and immediately take out her pocket.
"King Zahard?! What does he want from us?!" said Khun. Maschenny shook her head slowly.
"Not 'us', but 'me'. King Zahard only want you, Aguero" she said again.
"Wa– What?!" shouted Khun.
Hwa Ryun who was at Khun's back immediately stepped in front. Now it was her time to cover up Khun and protecting him.
"Wow~ It makes me jealous of how you cared about each other. Unfortunately, both of you don't mean for each other," said Maschenny.
She walked towards Hwa Ryun to get closer to her and with just a touch on Hwa Ryun's forehead, she was thrown backwards.
"HWA RYUN!" Shouted Khun and immediately ran towards Hwa Ryun who is lying on the floor with blood on his forehead. Held her tight in his arm and shielded himself with Hwa Ryun with his lighthouse.
"Listen here, Aguero. If you remain stubborn and do not want to follow us, Ha Jisung will die for sure this time," said Maschenny.
Khun petrified not even a single word comes out from his mouth. He seems speechless.
"I already installed some bombs in the nest where Ha Jisung was placed and I able to make it explode anytime."
Khun still did not move. He still holds Hwa Ryun tight in his arm. He was unsure what decision should he make so everyone that he cared stayed safe.
"Imagine if you keep being stubborn and I make the bombs exploded and killed Ha Jisung and all of those happen because you did not want to follow us. I'm sure that Irregular will hate you for the rest of his life," said Maschenny and smirked.
"Because of your stubbornness, his master DIE."
"Don't listen to her, Khun! You know Bam is not that kind of person," said Hwa Ryun, immediately cover-up Khun's ears and put his head against her chest to avoid him from making eye contact with Maschenny or the scenario will be worse. Khun did not push Hwa Ryun away instead he hugging her back.
"I'm sorry," said Khun. Hwa Ryun shocked. She really didn't see that coming.
"Khun?" called Hwa Ryun when Khun suddenly released the hug and stand up.
"Let me hear what Zahard want," said Khun confidently with his decision.
"Good boy," said Maschenny while on her hand has a pocket. It has Zahard's name written on it.
"Khun Aguero Agnes."
Zahard's voice comes out from Maschenny's pocket makes Khun and Hwa Ryun goosebumps.
"Yes that is me," replied Khun.
"Good. I'll give you a choice and I want you to make a decision wisely or you'll regret it in the future."
"What is it?"
"Khun..." called Hwa Ryun and gently hold Khun's hand.
Khun just stands still. Waiting for Zahard to say the option.
"First, I want you to come to me and I'll free the Irregular's master and stopped the war immediately. Also, I'll let him climb this tower peacefully. Then the second thing is.."
"Go on. I'm listening," said Khun when Zahard suddenly stopped talking.
Hwa Ryun grip getting tighter and it makes Khun hissed. He looked at Hwa Ryun then smiled.
"It's okay don't worry," he said and continued to look at the pocket.
"The second thing is you be able to stay by the Irregular's side with your other friends but Ha Jisung need to die and my army will always bother you as you tried to climb this tower higher."
Silences filled the cave for some moment but been break by Zahard's voice.
"So what will you choose, Khun Aguero Agnes?"
Khun looked at Hwa Ryun who still holding tight his hand. He sighed.
"I'll choose the first one," said Khun and slowly pushed away Hwa Ryun's hand.
Hwa Ryun truly shocked but she knows that all the decision that Khun made always keep advantages Bam but never for himself. That was what Hwa Ryun hates about Khun the most. Putting himself in front of the line so the other can stay safe.
"Good Choice, I wait for you at the top of the tower," said Zahard then immediately turned off the pocket.
Khun stayed quiet. He knows that the decision that he made is the best for him also Bam.
"Khun, I'm so grateful that you choose us," said Hwa Ryun. Tears come out from her eyes and it makes Khun stunned.
"For real?! Are you just cries for me?! Oh, Hwa Ryun, I'm touched," teased Khun and slowly wiped the tears with his thumb.
"Say Goodbye to him for me," whispered Khun close to Hwa Ryun's ear.
"And when the time we meet again I want to hear those words again," he continued. Hwa Ryun widened. Did Khun just give her hope? But there no way.
"Hye Khun, before you left, can I have your lighthouse?" asked Hwa Ryun.
"Sure," replied Khun, smiled and walked towards Maschenny and Lyborick.
"Let's go, Aguero," said Maschenny then they teleported leaving Hwa Ryun in the cave alone.
"Khun, even though I patiencely waited for you here, in the end, you'll end up by choosing Bam, again and again," said Hwa Ryun softly while caressed the lighthouse that Khun left for her.
