Chapter 7 – Plan B
Alexa's Dream POV
I was with Kol on a date, Elena was staring a hole through me as I was playing pool with Kol. He kissed my cheek as I was lining up a shot. Elena walked over holding something, Kol's brother grabbed her arm out of nowhere. "Listen Doppelganger. Let your sister be happy." He told her.
He let go of her arm taking the dagger, "Have a fun night you two." He told us both leaving the grill.
"Well darling, let's get back to it." Kol said to me, kissing me. I kissed him back.
Alexa's pov
I woke up from another dream of Kol, I grabbed my chest. He was the other half of me, I need to find him. Davina walked in with a cup of coffee, "Morning, you okay?" She asked me.
"Yeah, I was dreaming about Kol again." I told her.
She gave me the cup of coffee and smiled, "We will find him, promise." She told me.
I nodded, "Come on let's get ready for the party prep." She told me. We got ready and headed to the Lockwood's in Davina's car.
"I hope Jeremy is here today." She said to me, I chuckled. I was wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt with white Nike sneakers. Davina was wearing black skinny jeans, converse and a grey tank top and a grey flannel shirt on top. I put on a denim jacket, we left the house and headed over to the Lockwood's.
"Will Elena and lover boy be here?" Davina asked me.
"I have no idea and I could care less." I said to her.
She smiled at me, "We need to pick out dresses for tomorrow night also. What colour are you thinking?" she asked me.
"Black and red. What about you?" I asked her.
"Purple." She told me. We arrived at the Lockwood's and got out of the car and saw Matt with Tyler taking a table inside.
"Hey Ms Lockwood." I said to Carol.
She hugged me, "Hey Alexa dear, and hello Davina. Thank you both for helping set up the masquerade today. "Boys! Be careful with that! It's from the 1800s. Excuse me. Tyler!" Carol said to Tyler and Matt.
"Mom, we got it." Tyler told her, she walked back over to us both.
"Okay girls I need you both to help in the back with the flowers." She said to us both we followed her as Jenna was talking to Stefan.
Davina and I were sorting the flowers and the decorations. Bonnie is outside, carrying a box. Elena sees her and walks over to her. Davina could tell Bonnie had power but Davina had more. Jeremy walked over to me and Davina.
"Hey Davina, hey sis." He said to me and Davina.
She smiled at him, "Hey Jeremy." She said to him with a little blush.
"Hey bro. Did Elena rope you into this?" I asked him.
He nodded. "Yeah, how has Tyler been today?" he asked Davina.
"He seems okay, he is lucky that he didn't activate the curse." Davina told him, pulling out some candles.
"Mason being here may help Tyler control his anger." I said to him.
He nodded, "Oh here we go, here comes the princess." He told me.
Elena and Bonnie walked over to us all, "Hey Alexa, Davina. Can we talk to Jeremy alone?" Elena asked me.
"Hang on, Davina do you want to go to the masquerade ball with me?" Jeremy asked her.
Davina nodded, "I would love to Jeremy." She told him.
Bonnie looked a bit jealous. Elena pulled Jeremy away and Davina hugged me. "I feel bad now that I have a date and you don't." She said to me.
I shrugged, "I don't mind." I said to her.
Bonnie looked at me, "So you're coming to the ball?" she asked me.
I nodded, "Yeah, I'm not missing a Lockwood party." I told her.
She nods and leaves, "They are up to something. Let's find Mason and make sure they don't hurt him. I'm not losing anymore family and neither is Tyler." I said to her.
Davina nodded, "Let go and find your hot god father." She told me, I rolled my eyes at her. We saw him carrying a box and he looked right at Stefan. We walked over to him.
"We need to talk?" I told him.
He nodded, "Okay lets go somewhere private." He told me and Davina.
We ended up near Davina's Car and Mason's was next to hers. Damon pulled into the Lockwood estate. "I think Damon maybe up to something which involves hurting you and Tyler doesn't need to lose another family member." I told him.
He nodded, "Thanks for the heads up. I'm gonna leave and go to the old Lockwood property. Thanks Lex and Davina." He said getting inside his truck and heading off.
Damon, Elena, Bonnie and Stefan walked out of the house. "Shit we better go." Davina muttered.
I shook my head, "Nope, this is our town also not just theirs." I told her.
She nodded as they all walked over to us both. "So where is the god father?" Damon asked me.
I shrugged with a smirk. "Alexa tell Damon where Mason is. He has the moonstone." Elena told me.
"Let me think about that...yeah no." I said to her.
"He is working with Katherine." Stefan told me.
I shrugged again as well as Davina. "Seems like a vampire problem not a witch problem." Davina stated to them all.
"I could kill you where you stand." Damon said to me.
Davina looked at him, Damon dropped to his knees as well as Stefan. "Looks like my witch is more powerful than your witch Elena. How about I go and Carol Lockwood that Damon Salvatore is a vampire and is threatening to kill minors and has killed Jeremy, John and Alaric multipliable times." I said to her.
She looked at me and Davina. Davina stopped the spell and we got into the car, driving off. "Can you locate Katherine? We need a plan." I asked her.
Davina nodded, she pulled into her house. We walked inside, she got a map and Davina pricked my finger. "Since Elena is Katherine's human doppelganger your blood will work to find her." She told me.
She pricked my finger, my blood dripped on to the map. She started to mutter the spell and she found Katherine's location. "That's one of the Lockwood's old places." I said to Davina.
"Let's go and Katherine. Hopefully Mason is there." She told me. I saw Jeremy pull up outside. "Damn it, they sent Jeremy to stall us." She told me.
I pulled out my phone taking a picture of the map and Davina took the map and throw it into the fireplace lighting it on fire it burnt to ash. She muttered a spell and the fire went out. We opened the door to see Jeremy looking at us both.
"What Jeremy, come to help princess Elena?" I asked him.
He shook his head, "I've come to help you two. I hate Elena and her boytoys." He told us both.
"Come with us we are going to see Katherine." I told him. He nodded we got into Davina's car and drove to the location.
"Girls Damon has Mason." Jeremy told us, showing us his phone.
"Detour, we save Mason then see Katherine." Davina said driving to the Salvatore's house. She pulled up outside and muttered a spell, Damon dropped to the floor. I walked inside and helped Mason out of the chair.
"Alexa, they went after the moonstone." He told me.
"Screw the bloody moonstone. Davina is giving Mr Ladykiller here a dream thinking that he killed you. Leave town and take Tyler with you." I told him.
He nodded we walked out and he got into his truck and drove off. I got into Davina's car. "Let's go before wannabe Dracula wakes up." I told her.
She drove to the location and we got out and knocked on the door. Katherine answered the door. "Hello Alexa, you must be the best friend Davina right. And little Jeremy Gilbert. Please come inside." She told us all.
We walked inside, she shut the door. "So I take it you saved Mason from trouble?" she asked us all.
We all nodded, "Good, he should be here soon with Tyler. I've called my soulmate and he will be here tomorrow." She told us all.
"You found your soulmate?" I asked her.
She nodded smiling at me, "Yes and your soulmate is related to mine. They are Original's, the first vampires and the only vampire's that can procreate." She told us all. Mason and Tyler walked inside.
"Lex, Jer, Davina what are you guys doing here?" Tyler asked us all.
"Helping Katherine." I told him.
"My phone is still at the Salvatore's." Mason said to us all.
"Good, Damon will be faking your story about leaving town and getting rid of a fake body." Davina said to him.
Katherine smirked, "Thank you guys for saving my uncle." Tyler said to us all.
"No problem Ty, Elena is as good as dead." I said to him.
"I'm guessing this sun and moon curse isn't real?" Jeremy asked Katherine.
She smirked, "Right little Gilbert." She said to him.
Katherine's phone went off, it was Mason's number. "Must be Damon." Mason told Katherine.
She answered the phone and put it on speak phone, "Mason, you should have been here an hour ago." She said down the phone.
"Wrong boy toy." Damon said sound gleeful.
Katherine looked at us all, "Damon. For once you've surprised me. I assume Mason is with you?" she asked him.
"He's right beside me! Although, his heart's across the room." He said to her.
I looked at Davina and smirked so did Katherine, "You shouldn't have." She told him.
"I've had a very busy day today. I killed a werewolf, found a moonstone. Hey, did you know that he hid the moonstone in the bottom of a well full of vervain? I guess he didn't trust you very much. Although, he did love you. Poor guy. Hey, where are you? Because, you know, I could bring him over. Last goodbyes and all that." He told her and us all.
"You have no idea what you've just done." She told him.
"Aww, did I put a kink in your master plan? I'm so sorry." He said sounding proud of himself.
"Do you honestly believe that I don't have a plan B? And if that fails, a plan C, then a plan D, and...you know how the alphabet works, don't you? Send my love to Stefan." She said hanging up.
"Okay you better go home, if Elena or Alaric asks you went to see Davina about the ball." I told Jeremy.
He nodded, "Okay will do sis. I actually like you a lot more than Elena. Oh Elena has still be seeing Stefan." He said to Katherine as he left.
Katherine smirked, "Okay time for plan b. Aunt Jenna, what did she do to you?" Katherine asked me.
"She was and is a bitch, I want her away so Isobel can have Alaric again. John told me about Isobel." I told her.
She smirked, "Lucky for you, Isobel will be here tomorrow. Mason and Tyler, run but don't go to Florida." Katherine told them both.
They nodded, Tyler hugged me. "Thanks Lex." He said to me, he hugged Davina and left with Mason.
"Now let's call Aunt Jenna." She said dialling the phone number keeping it on speaker. "Hello Jenna, pace me to Elena stab yourself in the stomach in about 5 minutes. "Of course, I understand. Elena, it's for you." We hear Jenna say.
"Who is it?" We hear Elena ask. "Hello?"
"Hello, Elena." Katherine told her.
"Katherine." Elena said sounding scared.
"Did you enjoy your little rendezvous with Stefan this morning? I will always know, Elena. I will always be one step ahead of you. When are you gonna figure that out? Do you know how easy it was to get inside of your house? To replace Aunt Jenna's vervain perfume, to convince her to stop drinking her special tea?" Katherine asked her.
I realised, she got Jenna off the vervain when Caroline didn't show up. "No." Elena said to her.
"Jenna's been my little spy for days now. But unlike you, Jenna actually listens to me. So when I suggested that the world would be a much better place if she were to just..." Katherine say as Elena said. "Jenna, no!"
"Well, you get the idea." Katherine said hanging up.
"Right bit of a plan, what if you bit my arm making it look like a dog bit and we go to the hospital to see if she has actually broken up with Stefan." I suggested.
Davina looked at me, Katherine took my arm. "Only if you are sure?" Katherine asked me.
"I trust you more than Elena." I told her, and she bit my arm making it look like an animal bite.
"Get her to the hospital now." She told Davina putting a cloth on my arm.
We drove to the hospital, "Help she was bit my a dog, her arm. She's losing blood." Davina said to the nurse.
Jeremy ran over to us, "You okay Lex?" he asked me.
"Dog came out of nowhere when I was leaving D's place." I told him.
The nurse took me into A&E to fix my arm up.
Elena and Alaric saw Me getting my arm fixed up, "You'll have to change the bandage regularly. Because to not rip the stitches." She told me.
"What happened to you?" Alaric asked me.
"Rapid dog, all fixed up now." I told him, I walked out and Jeremy hugged me.
"Are you okay?" he asked me.
I nodded, "Yeah how come you lot are here?" I asked him.
"Jenna stabbed herself." He told me.
Elena shot him a look, "Jeremy what the hell? Why are you telling her?" she asked him.
"She is my sister and Davina is my girlfriend. I'm staying at Davina's tonight screw you Elena. You can't control me." Jeremy told her.
Alaric looked at him, "Jeremy this isn't Elena's fault." He told Jeremy.
"Sure because Elena is all good and nice. It is her fault maybe she shouldn't be dating Stefan and having feelings for his brother." I told him.
Elena looked at me in shock. Davina put her hand on my shoulder, "Come on, let's go back to mine and order a Pizza." She said to me and Jeremy we left the hospital.
Jeremy looked at me, "What actually happened to your arm?" he asked me.
"Katherine took a bite so we could get you away from Elena." I told him.
He chuckled, "I would rather us all be living together." He told me.
"Me too little brother." I said to him. We arrived at Davina's and I got a message from Mason saying him and Tyler had left town going to Washington.
"Mason and Tyler are heading to Washington." I told Jeremy and Davina.
"That's great I'm happy for Tyler being with his Uncle." Jeremy said to me.
"Me too, knowing Damon he would have killed Mason and Tyler." I told him.
Davina ordered the pizza as Davina's mum walked in, "Hey Ms Claire." I said to her.
"Alexa dear, and Jeremy nice to see you both. Are you both staying this evening?" she asked us both.
Davina nodded, "They are if that is okay?" She asked her mum.
Davina's mum nodded, "Of course." She said heading upstairs. The pizza arrived, Jeremy paid the delivery guy and we took it to the kitchen and got drinks. We had a fun night and headed to bed. Jeremy followed Davina into her room, I rolled my eyes and headed into the guest room.
I got a message from Caroline asking where I was. I sent a message back saying I was crashing at Davina's. She didn't message back, I must have pissed her off. I haven't seen her and her mother in two whole days something must be going on. I will figure it out tomorrow. I looked out of the window and saw Katherine, I opened the window and she jumped up. She gave me a small bottle of her blood, "To heal you so your nice and new for the ball." She told me.
"I'll be sending you and Davina dresses tomorrow." She added.
I smiled and nodded, "Thank you Katherine. See you tomorrow." I said to her and she jumped down and ran off. I closed the window and drank the blood, I took the bandage off my arm started to heal. I closed the curtain and got dressed for bed.
