This is chapter 2 of my NCIS and F&F crossover. Hope you enjoy what's to come.
NCIS:
In the garage, Ellie was under the car whilst checking to see if the car had broken down in case the murder was planned. The elevator doors opened then out walked Torres and McGee, they were impressed with Ellie's skills with a car.
"Ellie's good with cars, wonder when she got that good?" Nick asked and McGee shrugged his shoulders as he was looking through the stuff that Ellie took out of the car.
"Ellie told me that she was brought up around cars and loved taking them apart to see what made them work." McGee explained as he was going through the possible evidence. Nick was busy checking out Ellie at work with the classic Honda, she had got up from under the car and wiped her hands with a cloth. "Found anything, Bishop?" McGee asked as his friend walked over to them.
"It seems like the fuel line was cut, that's why the car stopped where it did." Ellie explained which surprised the others and just as Nick was about to talk, Ellie's phone started ringing. "Sorry, gotta take this." Ellie told them as she took her phone and walked over to the other side of the room.
"Is Ellie hiding something from us?" Nick asked and McGee shrugged his shoulders as he didn't know. Nick looked over to Ellie smiling as she was talking to someone. After a few minutes, Ellie's call ended then she ran over to the guys and grabbed her jacket.
"Sorry guys, I'm late for a meet up!" Ellie shouted over then she ran out of the garage and towards the parking lot. Nick was surprised to see Ellie leave work to meet up with someone.
Outskirts:
A few miles away from the busy city, there was a fairly big house with several tuned cars nearby: a black 1996 Dodge Charger with a blower sticking out of the bonnet, a gun-metal grey Jensen Interceptor, a silver Nissan GT-R R35 and a red 2010 Honda Civic Si. Sat on the pouch was Brian whilst drinking a beer, he was looking at the cars when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
"Thinking about the old days, Brian?" A deep voice asked and Brian looked behind him, it was a tall bald man wearing blue jeans, black boots and a white vest.
"I found a body today, Dom." Brian told him and Dom looked at his friend. "Remember Jennifer Knight? She was found dead a few miles from the Naval Base she was stationed at." Brian told him then Dom sat down on one of the chairs. "Could we call Hobbs? To get us involved in this? She was part of the family, Dom." Brian tried to persuade him but before Dominic answered, they heard the loud roar of an engine coming towards them.
"Are we expecting someone?" A female voice spoke as the men turned around to see a young woman wearing a black crop top, brown cargo jeans and black boots.
"Yeah, Letty. An old friend." Brian answered then the car arrived: it was a black and red 1969 Ford Mustang GT500. The driver door opened and out stepped Ellie Bishop which made Dom and Letty smile.
"Eleanor Bishop, long time no see." Dom smiled as he walked down the stairs and hugged the woman. Ellie smiled as she returned the hug then Letty walked over.
"Come here, girl." Letty told Ellie then the women hugged and gently punched each other's shoulders. "You've changed a lot. But I see you still got a sweet taste in wheels." Letty complimented and Ellie smiled as Dom was checking the car out.
"When I've had days off, I've been working on this old girl: changed the engine and added NOS, of course." Ellie smiled which got Letty's head nodding while Dom popped the bonnet, he checked out the engine and was impressed.
"A 6 litre V10 with a turbocharger, impressive." Dom complimented then he looked at Ellie. "Haven't lost your touch, baby girl." Dom smiled and Ellie nodded.
"Where is everyone?" Ellie asked then the house door opened to reveal a short woman with brunette hair walked out. "Mia!" Ellie shouted and the brunette ran down the stairs then hugged Ellie.
"Ellie, it's so great to see you!" Mia exclaimed as she stepped back and looked at Ellie. "Changed your style since back in your racing days." Mia noticed as she looked at Ellie's clothes.
"But no matter what, I'm still the same Ellie from back in the day." Ellie told them and Brian nodded. "Okay, I'll show you I'm still the same. Let's race." Ellie suggested and Brian nodded then he walked down the stairs.
"You're on." Brian told her then he looked at Dom. "You in, Dom?" Brian asked but Dom shook his head which surprised the group.
"Okay then." Dom answered then he looked at Letty. "Why don't you come too, babe?" Dom asked and Letty nodded then the four walked to their cars: Brian took his Nissan, Letty took the Interceptor, Ellie took her Mustang and Dom took his Charger. The four drove onto the road and lined up together, with the engines revving to the max.
"3! 2! 1! Go!" Letty shouted then the cars raced off with each driver smiling and using their skills to try and beat each other. They were halfway through the way and Dom was in the lead.
"Nice try, Dom. But I've got something up my sleeve." Ellie chuckled as she turned a dial and flipped two switches, activating the NOS and shot past Brian then Letty. "I'm coming for you, Dom!" Ellie shouted as she changed gear, she was now right behind Dom's car.
"Nice try but I'm losing." Brian shouted they he flipped three switches and pressed a red button, activated the NOS and sent flying past Letty. But Letty wasn't out as she just activated her NOS, everyone was now united as one as they all raced past a nearby farm which was their quarter mile mark. They all turned around and raced back towards the house, with Ellie leading the group.
NCIS:
While Gibbs went to see Palmer and McGee had gone to meet Petty Officer Knight's commanding officer, Nick decided to check out Brian O'Conner; to see how he knew Ellie. But when Nick tried to open Brian's records, he got denied access which made Nick suspicious of Brian.
"Torres, I thought you went with McGee." Nick looked up to see Gibbs had come back. Nick tried to close down his research but he hit the wrong button, displaying Brian's file on the plasma.
"Sorry Boss but I was curious to know what Mister O'Conner was doing at the scene," Nick explained but Gibbs nodded. "There was also the fact he knows Ellie and yet, she's never told us about him. What if there's more we don't know?" Nick asked then Gibbs looked up at his agent.
"Torres, we have to keep our minds open." Gibbs reminded him as he walked towards Nick. "For all we know, there's a reasonable explanation to why O'Conner was there." The boss told Nick and while he wasn't happy about the answer, Nick knew that he needed solid evidence to look into Brian's file.
House:
Back with her friends, Ellie was chatting with Dom and Brian while Mia and Letty were indoors with the kids: Mia and Brian's two kids and Dom's son. Brian and Dom were listening to Ellie as she was telling them about the case she was working on.
"If you need help on the case, we can help." Dom offered with confused Ellie. "A year back, we helped an agency to catch a dangerous criminal and called the 'Secret Ops' which means we get involved in unique cases." He explained which surprised the navy cop.
"We know a guy: he can get us on the case and we can help." Brian added which got Ellie's attention. "Plus, there's more about the Petty Officer that NCIS doesn't know about her. Not even her friends know." Ellie wanted to know more but then she thought about getting her friends involved.
"Call your friend. Tell him to talk to Director Vance at NCIS; he makes the decisions." Ellie told them then Dom took out his phone and dialed a number.
"We need a favor, brother." Dom spoke to his contact while Ellie was looking at the view, thinking about what might happen now.
NCIS:
Nick and Tim were in the bullpen talking about the case when they heard the elevator beep, they looked to see a huge muscular man with tattoos on his arms walk out: he looked to be taller than the pair and more muscular than Nick.
"You two! Where's Director Leon Vance?" The huge man asked and before anyone could answer, the NCIS Director appeared at the top of the stairs. "Are you NCIS Director Leon Vance?" The man shouted up as the Director held his hands behind his back.
"Who wants to know?" The Director asked and it made the big man smile as he took a few steps forward.
"Names Hobbs. DSS Agent Lucas Hobbs." Hobbs introduced himself which surprised Vance. "I'm here because a recent case of yours is linked to one of my cases: the Petty Officer Jennifer Knight case." Hobbs told him as he held up a file, Nick was about to take it but Hobbs smacked his hand.
"What does the DSS have to do with the death of a Petty Officer?" Vance asked but Hobbs shook his head then started walking up the stairs.
"That's not how this works, Director. SecDef has cleared it so we'll be working together." Hobbs told the Director then he turned and looked at the Agents. "My team will be downstairs shortly. Which team is investigating Petty Officer Knight's case?" Hobbs shouted then everyone pointed at Nick, McGee and Gibbs as he arrived.
"Gibbs, you and your team will be working with Agent Hobbs." Vance shouted down and Gibbs looked at Hobbs, who had just taken out his phone.
"My team is here, they're waiting in the garage for us. Let's move." Hobbs ordered as he walked towards the elevator, with the team following close behind as they wanted to meet Hobbs' team.
I'm ending the chapter here as I don't want to give away too much. Did you enjoy Ellie meeting the crew? And how was the race? How do you think the NCIS team will react to Ellie's past?
See you all time.
