The girl's eyes scanned the pages of the comic and said, "Wow, this is good! Thanks, Daddy!"
"You're welcome, I'm glad you enjoy it. I got you both volumes since they came in a set." Koiwai said.
"Two for the price of one, that's a good deal!" Yotsuba noted.
"It sure is." Koiwai agreed.
"I want to dress up like the lady on the cover. Can I, Daddy? Please?" Yotsuba asked.
"Sure, why not? I'll ask our neighbors for help on making the outfit for you. Remember to use your manners." Koiwai reminded.
"Okay!" Yotsuba saluted him.
"Again with the salute; I'm not a captain, you know." Koiwai said, sighing.
"But I like the motion, it's cool!" Yotsuba's eyes twinkled with anticipation.
"Ready to go?" Her father asked.
"Yeah!" The girl pumped her fist in the air.
"Excuse us; we're sorry to bother you, but could you please make Yotsuba this outfit on the cover?" Koiwai showed Mrs. Ayase the drawing.
She looked it over and nodded.
"Sure, I can make this. Just give me a few days, alright?" She said.
"You hear that, Yotsuba? She said she'll make it. Hooray!" Koiwai said.
"Hooray!" Yotsuba cheered.
"But it won't be free. I'll need the right materials. It looks like we need: a puffy light yellow dress, along with the same color gloves and boots, a metal rod, some red ribbons, red paint as well as cotton, a white cat tail along with rabbit ears, a bell, and a red choker with a medal on it." She listed as she wrote them down on a piece of paper as well as where to get them and gave it to Yotsuba's father.
"Got all that?" Mrs. Ayase asked.
"I think so. Thanks a lot. Ready to go shopping, Yotsuba?" He asked his daughter.
"Yeah, I can't wait!" She said.
They went to the clothing store for the clothes, the hardware store for the metal rod and paint, the craft store for the ribbons, cotton, a cat tail plus rabbit ears, and the antique store for the bells and choker. Minutes passed and they were back at their neighbor's house with the materials.
"Here you go, all accounted for." Koiwai said.
"Thank you." Mrs. Ayase said.
In two day's time, the outfit and the wand was ready for the girl.
"Mew Berry Metamorphose!" Yotsuba said.
They dressed her in the outfit and then took pictures. She looked so cute!
