~Tea Time~

Yuki stirred her tea and listened to her friend talk about what happened at the restaurant almost a week ago. Ritsuko was bragging about how strong Kisame was flipping the table and throwing it at a couple of men knocking them down. The story continued on getting violent as the story progress.

Yuki wrinkled her nose a bit as Ritsuko mentioned how Kisame broke a man's arm. She sipped her tea. It was nice to know what she missed after she fainted. Apparently, she wasn't daydreaming when she heard Itachi's voice. He was shielding her from the blast.

She frowned at the memory, she was curious about Deidara and why the blast didn't kill them there were always more questions running through her head. She was never sure which one to ask first. Deidara just brushed her off saying it wasn't important but lately he had been on his phone texting someone a lot. Distancing himself from her. It was starting to hurt.

"While they didn't have their eyes on Deidara, Deidara disappeared with the brunet and he was supposed to disarm the bomb but I guess he got a bit too excited and added his own touch," Ritsuko rolled her eyes and bit into a finger sandwich, "got into a real trouble,"

She shifted uncomfortably in her chair not used to tea parties though it was only for two. She stared at the elegant platter filled with bite-sized snacks and deciding which one looked better. She looked odd in her chains and plaid skirt. She hadn't noticed Yuki frowning at the comment about Deidara and the woman. Was that who he was texting lately?

"You did a good job distracting them with your speech. I never saw Itachi run so fast," she continued a bit more. Yuki blushed and looked at her tea.

"It is a good thing Itachi was there," Yuki mumbled she didn't want to hear anymore the memory of that night was terrifying she still had nightmares screaming in the middle of the night. She blushed at her comment and shook her head, "and we got lucky no one was seriously injured, the Uchiha's are amazing people,"

She picked up her phone texting Itachi, she had questions she wanted answers. This time relating back to what the man had said. Did the Akatsuki really ruin a business? Destroy a family? Where they to be trusted?

'Is the Akatsuki to be trusted?'

She also noted that she had to thank Itachi for protecting her from the blast and the gunman. She closed her eyes and frowned. Ritsuko watched Yuki a sly smirk on her face. She had noticed who Yuki was texting and it was often enough that it got the purplett's attention.

"I wish Shinju could have joined us," Yuki spoke again after the long silence. She wanted to get close to the female, she seemed like one that would need a friend in her life.

"Yes but she works close to Sasori, she is one of the few people that can stand him," Ritsuko shook her head, "So what is your thoughts on Itachi? Did he text back?"

Yuki blushed and stared at her friend wrinkling her nose, "I don't know what you are talking about," she giggled. She had to get over

"Itachi is an attractive man he could sleep with any woman he wants," Ritsuko spoke, trying to get Yuki jealous.

Yuki's phone buzzed lightly from a text. Itachi had texted her back answering the question.

Yes. Why do you ask?

'What happened the other night? The man mentioned something about making a deal with the Akatsuki that ruined his family name' she had texted back.

She checked her phone Deidara still hasn't texted her back since this morning saying 'Good morning' and asking her if she wanted to hangout. She had agreed to hang out with him but didn't hear anything else.

"He is handsome," Yuki agreed, "but he is so cold and distant," she could remember when he gave her his number. He wasn't distant that night she remembered how kind he was. There was warmth in his eyes. She shook her head, she had been seeing things that night, "he would make a woman very happy,"

There was silence around them. Yuki shifted she smiled when Deidara finally texted her back telling her where to meet and what time.

Itachi also texted back to her back as well, 'We will discuss it,'

She frowned at his answer and texted back asking, 'When?'

"What time is it?" Yuki was eager for the distraction she didn't want to talk about Itachi.

"Two-thirty, why?" Ritsuko sighed.

"I have a date," Yuki told her. It was more reassurance for herself that she and Deidara were still a thing.

Ritsuko shut-up about Itachi and the girls spent the rest of their time together talking about small things. The subject ranged from work and Kisame. Yuki had to laugh she would never guess Kisame to have a wife and she would become a good friend of hers.

"Thank you for your time," Yuki spoke paying for tea. She hugged Ritsuko before heading out.
