Hey guys, long time no post! Haha! It's been a trip ya'll. First, my laptop fried. Then I found out that I was pregnant with my second kid! Healthy baby boy who is now about a year and a half old. Then we moved, again. It's been a long little while there hasn't it?

Anywho, here's a new chapter for ya'll. Hope you enjoy! Feel free to leave a review!

Savannah was ready to kill someone. Her parents were creating havoc for the personnel on the base and were basically harassing all the Autobots that entered or exited. They had set up shop there at the first gate. She wasn't even sure how they had managed to get to the base, on an island, in the ocean just off the coast of California. They were miles from shore, so it wasn't as if they swam or rented a boat.

"Tell me they're running low on supplies, so they'll have to leave soon." Savannah groaned as she heard her sister approach her.

"Dad brought a pallet of MRE's." Katrina sighed as she sat beside her sister. "So unfortunately, they may be here for a while."

Savannah groaned again and buried her face deeper into her arms. She felt Optimus direct his attention to her. Her frustration and stress were obviously high enough to radiate through the bond. He sent her a wave of reassurance before returning his attention to whatever meeting he was in at the moment.

"So, they can theoretically stay for 6 months, give or take." Katrina stated non chalantly.

"Can we throw them in the brig?" Savannah muttered, eliciting a laugh from her sister. "I'm being serious here."

"We can't. Not unless they actually lay hands on a member of staff." Katrina patted her sisters back.

"Can we just say they did?" Savannah raised her head and turned toward her sister. "I don't need them adding to this PR nightmare on top of finding out that Optimus and I have somehow bonded to each other. I'm under enough stress as it is. Ratchet has threatened to sedate me more times this week than I can even count. Apparently, I've been 'bleeding stress' everywhere and flipping out on people."

"Well, you have been." Katrina shrugged. "But it's understandable why."

"No, it really isn't." Savannah sighed and stood. "Fine. I'll talk to them."

"Actually, no you won't." Katrina pushed her sister back down into the chair. "Ratchet sent me here to inform you that you aren't to go anywhere near them. Something about possibly triggering a panic attack if they say or do the wrong thing. Smokescreen agreed. Prowl and Jazz are apparently going to take care of it somehow."

Savannah tensed at Katrina's statement; she hated the idea of someone else dealing with her parents. They were crazy, and she shouldn't be hiding behind anyone when it came to them.

"I know that look. They volunteered. Something about 'not letting them damage Optimus' wife.' Oh, everyone is referring to you and Optimus as husband and wife now. Don't know who started that one but the press loved it…"

"Are you just babbling to try and keep me from marching down to the gates and telling our parents off?" Savannah deadpanned.

"Maybe." Katrina grinned.

Savannah growled and stood up. She knew her sister wouldn't fight her too hard on keeping her there, and Kay was already matching her pace as she left the rec room, they had been talking in. She was not about to let her parents pull their bullshit. Not after she had worked so hard to build this life and keep them away from it.

Savannah could hear yelling before the gates came into sight. Technically, her parents were camped on government land, and she could order them to be put into the brig. If only she could get everyone else to go along with it. But, alas, she knew that unless her parents attempted to enter the base or harm someone it wouldn't work. She paused and took a deep breath before rounding the corner and allowing herself to come into sight of the gate. She could hear Prowl's calm voice to the left of the gate while Jazz's low aggravated rumble came from the right.

"You two need to leave, now." She commanded, head held high and shoulders straight. "Consider this your final warning to vacate government property or be held for questioning on how you 1, discovered this location, 2, made it to the island, and 3 trespassed."

"Savannah, finally." Her mothers voice sounded relieved. "You really need to come home. If you are surrounded by people such as this…"

"These people saved me when you couldn't care less about me." Savannah half-yelled. "This is my family you're talking about."

"We've heard those nasty false rumors about you and that… thing." Her father interjected. "I have no idea where they would have gotten the idea that you could somehow be in a relationship with a robot of all things…"

"You have a few minutes to begin packing your items. If you are not gone within an hour, I will personally see to it that you are placed in the brig." Savannah snarled at her parents. "And for your information I am in a relationship with Optimus Prime. He is caring, considerate, and far better to me than most men I have met. So, take that information and do with it what you will but you will not talk about him like that."

Everything fell silent and Savannah could almost envision her parents gaping like fish. She turned on her heel and started to walk away.

"You come back here young lady; we aren't finished talking to you…"

"Actually, you are." Prowl cut Savannah's father off. "You heard Mrs. Prime. You have one hour to vacate this location, or we will be forced to take you into custody. Jazz and I will remain here to ensure your departure or arrest."

Savannah smiled as she continued walking, making a mental note to thank Prowl later for backing her up. As well as a note to approve Jazz to download as much music as he pleased. She felt Optimus send her an exasperated 'ping' and shrugged it off. She had a feeling the suggestion to keep her away from her parents came from him and not Ratchet. With a chuckle she returned the ping with a wave of reassurance that she was fine.

Please don't address them again, my Crystal

Optimus' voice in her head made her stop in her tracks. She knew that he was nowhere near her, and her comm hadn't activated either.

She sent him a wave of confusion and felt the Bluetooth like comm vibrate in her ear.

/Are you alright? / Optimus' voice was laced with concern.

"I heard you talk." Savannah started walking then at a faster pace, she was headed for the med bay. "Clear as day, in my head."

Like this?

"Exactly like that!" Savannah hissed into the comm. "Is this what Ratchet was talking about? Us being able to possibly talk through… you know what?"

/It is. / Waves of reassurance were suddenly poured into the bond. /Breathe my Crystal, this is considered normal for bondmates. /

Savannah forced herself to take a deep breath and slow her pace. Optimus didn't seem concerned about it, so she shouldn't be either. She had a feeling that it was something that Ratchet would still want to know, though.

"Thank you." She sighed into the comm. "I'll tell Ratchet about the new development. Sorry if I interrupted your meeting."

/It was not an unwelcome interruption, and it is not much of a meeting without Prowl or Jazz present. So, we are about to adjourn as it is. /

Savannah smiled and reached out to see what he was doing. She was surprised to get a sense that he was basically twiddling his thumbs out of boredom. Amusement filtered through the bond to him from her and he sent a curious wave back.

" Twiddling your thumbs eh?" She teased.

/How do you know that? / Optimus was genuinely confused by her statement.

"I can sense what you're doing." She laughed as Kay alerted her to the fact that they were close to the med bay. "I'm surprised you aren't tapping a pen on the desk or something."

/That sounds tempting. / Optimus chuckled in return. /However, I do not believe it would be seen as very leaderlike. /

"Probably not, but you deserve to have fun to you know." Savannah chastised him as she entered the med bay. "Well, I'm at the med bay now. Let me know when you manage to get out of boring mcboredville. We can spend some time together."

/Of course, my Crystal. /

Savannah sent love through the bond to him as she shut off the comm. She turned to Ratchet and smiled, more at ease than she had been earlier.

"To what can I owe this unexpected visit?" Ratchet sighed down at her.

Causing Savannah to laugh and begin explaining the new bond development.
