Nana spent the rest of the day getting to know her new classmates.

Pretty quickly, she decided that these were her people.

Watching them interact with each other was the funniest thing she had seen her brief second life. Whether it was Jirou casually stabbing Kaminari with her jacks when the electric boy said something stupid, Kirishima's endless enthusiasm and earnestness, or the way that Iida and Yaoyorozu were treated like the class parents for being the sanest people in the room (which wasn't saying much), Nana felt right at home in the friendly, bantering environment almost right away.

She didn't think her heroics class here had ever been like this; she wondered how much of this easy, close bond was the result of the battles Izuku and his classmates had gone through, and how much of it was the natural charisma of its members.

Nana felt like she had been accepted almost instantly, which surprised her; she'd expected that the combination of joining in the middle of the year and claiming to be the daughter of All Might would make people wary of her, but instead, she'd almost instantly gotten pulled into a conversation by people eager to know more about her.

"Hang on, you're All Might's daughter, but you can fly? So, do you not have his quirk?" Kirishima asked.

Nana remembered her planned answer, and said, "Oh, I kind of do, it's just...weird."

"What do you mean, weird?" the red-haired boy said.

"Well," Nana replied, "I kind of...have a dual quirk? I can fly like my mom, but I also have my dad's strength. It's not quite as strong, for some reason, but yeah, it made temper tantrums fun when I was a kid."

People laughed at that image, while Kirishima declared, "Man, that's awesome! You can fly and you have super strength? You're like an actual superhero from one of those old American comic books!"

Nana retorted, "Thanks, but I'd like to think I wear a better hero costume than a Speedo."

More laughter rang out, but Nana was focused on something else.

She'd noticed a tall boy with hair that was half-red and half-white leaning against a nearby wall, listening to her. His face was impassive, but when Nana said that she had a dual quirk, his eyes had widened slightly.

He'd looked...scared, almost, and Nana didn't know why.

"Yeah," Izuku's voice came, "I think I know why that might be."

Nana turned to look at her boyfriend of six hours. "Wait, that's Todoroki, right? The guy your memories are telling me is the son of a sentient dumpster fire claiming to be the Number One Hero?"

"The very same," Izuku confirmed.

Then, Nana saw Todoroki turn to Izuku and gesture towards a side room with his head, clearly wanting to talk.

Izuku followed him, shooting an apologetic look at Nana, who waved him off with a smile.

"Hello? Earth to Shimura?" someone asked.

Nana whirled back to the people surrounding her, looking sheepish. She didn't have to fake the blush she got, either, thanks to being a teenager for the second time.

"Oh, sorry," she said, "what were you saying, Hagakure?"

The invisible girl had no visible face, but Nana could easily imagine the knowing smirk she was making.

"We'll get to you and Midoriya soon, but I'm curious," Hagakure said, "you mentioned your mom can fly? Is she a hero?"

Nana thought fast.

"No, she isn't a hero," she said, "and she's been living in secret with me for as long as I can remember. There was a really dangerous attempt on our lives when I was little, so my parents decided to keep the fact that All Might had a family secret for our protection."

Nana saw people nodding, and she hoped that that made sense to everyone.

"Then how did All Might meet your mom?" Hagakure asked.

Nana considered what she could say next. She could say that she didn't know, which people might find hard to believe, or she could say something generic and simple that people would forget about quickly.

Or, she could have some fun with it and give herself something to tease Toshi with.

Naturally, she chose option three, because Nana would never turn down an opportunity to mess with people.

"Well," she began with a smirk, "I don't know all the details, but I do know that they've known each other all their lives, even before All Might was a hero. They started dating when he went to UA, and they've been together ever since."

There was silence for a second; Nana hoped that she hadn't pushed the lie too far.

Then the pink girl, Mina, started to howl with laughter.

"You're telling me that All Might has a childhood sweetheart?" she cried, "of course he does! That's hilarious!"

Nana was liking Mina more and more.

Then, Uraraka asked, "So, how did you and Deku meet?"

Nana's grin faded a little as she realized she had to come up with another lie.

Then, she realized, "Who says I have to lie?"

Nana smiled wide again.

"Oh, you know," she answered, "I...dropped in on him unexpectedly because I was trying to use my quirk not long before he started UA, thought he was cute, then passed out in his arms and made him freak out. One thing led to another, after that."

Once again, everyone stared at her in disbelief.

Uraraka began, "You...told him he was cute, then passed out?"

Nana replied, "No, I thought he was cute. He wasn't conscious at the time, so I didn't tell him. He freaked out when we woke up."

Yaoyorozu asked confusedly, "Why wasn't he conscious?"

Nana said vaguely, "Reasons."

People seemed too scared to find out more.

Nana loved it when she managed to do that to people.

Meanwhile, Izuku shifted uncomfortably under Todoroki's stare, much like he had a year ago in a tunnel under a crowded stadium.

"So," his friend began, "is Shimura really All Might's daughter?"

Izuku nodded.

Todoroki said, "I see. In that case, I would like to apologize for thinking you were his son. I imagine that was weird to hear, right?"

Izuku said, "I mean, it was, yeah. It's fine though, I can see how you might think that."

"So All Might was actually just taking an interest in you because you were...involved...with his child?" Todoroki asked.

Izuku realized that Nana had accidentally given him a really good cover story for One For All, and he decided to use it.

"Yeah, he knew about us, so he figured he'd keep an eye on me, basically," Izuku replied.

"Okay," Todoroki said. Then, he leaned forwards, his face getting much more serious.

"Midoriya, please, tell me the truth here," he insisted, "is...is Shimura like me? Was she created ?"

Izuku's eyes widened a little; he'd figured that Todoroki would worry about this, but it was still a little startling to hear the fear in Todoroki's voice.

Izuku understood it, though; Todoroki had taken refuge in the idea of All Might being better than Todoroki's father.

Finding out that his hero was just as bad would crush Todoroki.

Izuku answered, "No, Todoroki, she wasn't. All Might didn't create a successor like Endeavor did."

Todoroki's shoulders dropped in relief. "Thank god," he said, "I didn't think so, just from the way she was acting, but I had to be sure."

Izuku nodded. "I understand," he told his friend.

Then, Todoroki looked back up at him, and Izuku saw a smile tugging at the corners of the somber boy's lips.

Izuku knew that if Todoroki was smiling, he was planning something, which made Todoroki's next words a little less shocking.

"You know, I know how you could be All Might's son still," his friend said jokingly.

Izuku stiffened.

"Oh god," he groaned internally, "I don't like where this is going."

"Don't be like that," Nana said in his mind, "I like where he's going with this."

Todoroki's face was completely deadpan as he finished, "It's simple. When you marry Shimura, you'll be All Might's son-in-law, and he can be a parental figure."

Izuku's jaw dropped. He spluttered, "Wait, what? Where did that come from?"

Todoroki replied, "Don't deny it, you want All Might to be your dad, and we all know it."

Izuku sighed; he wasn't going to win that argument.

Then, something else Todoroki had said finally hit him. "Wait," he said in disbelief, "did you say when I marry her?"

Todoroki nodded.

Izuku opened his mouth to disagree, but he found he couldn't form the right words to contradict the idea.

"I knew I liked where he was going with it," Nana added unhelpfully in his mind.

"You aren't helping here!" Izuku told her.

"Of course I'm not, I agree with him," Nana replied.

"Why is everyone against me?" Izuku groaned as he slumped against the wall, Todoroki watching with amusement.

"I don't know," Nana said teasingly, "but I do know that you're always welcome to put your body against me ."

Izuku was not amused, but Nana certainly was.

Really, Izuku decided, that was just the story of his life now.

The fun continued all day, as people worked to make their newest classmate welcome.

When dinner rolled around, though, a new problem became apparent.

"I'm very sorry, Shimura!" Yaoyorozu said, "I completely forgot we needed an extra chair!"

Nana looked at the table, which was already set for dinner. It was long enough to accommodate twenty people, but she could see that there wouldn't be enough room for her anyway.

"Oh, don't worry, Yaoyorozu," she said, "I have an idea."

"What is it?" the vice president asked.

Nana just smirked. Slowly, she turned to Izuku, who was already sitting down next to Uraraka.

"You'll see," was her only response to Yaoyorozu.

Nana marched over to her boyfriend, and said, "Hey, Izuku, can I sit here for dinner?"

Izuku brightened immediately as he replied, "Of course, Nana!"

"Thanks!" she said as she immediately plopped herself down in his lap, making Uraraka wheeze in surprise.

Izuku let out a strangled gulp as Nana wiggled rapidly, scooting until she was comfortable.

"Nana, why are you doing this?" he asked telepathically to keep the others from hearing.

"Because, I know you like my ass," she replied, "and the way you get when I do this is adorable."

"Nana," Izuku pleaded, "you've been alive again for half a day. Why are you so horny already?"

"Call it thirty years of built-up urges," she told him, "combined with being a teenager again."

As dinner began, Nana decided to keep having fun with Izuku. Every so often, she'd wiggle again, reminding him that she was still there, grinding in his lap.

If the other students noticed anything, which Nana doubted they did after the novelty of it wore off, nobody mentioned it.

"Don't get hard, don't get hard, don't get hard…" Izuku chanted to himself as Nana kept moving around.

"Come on, Izuku, it's okay," Nana said, "you can get hard for me."

Izuku replied, "No, I'm not going to let you give me an erection from sitting in my fucking lap."

Nana said smugly, "Are you sure about that? You don't have to worry, Izuku. After all, your erection will be hidden by my big, round ass, remember?"

Izuku groaned, "I hate you sometimes, Nana."

"Oh, I doubt that," she said, "and I can look into your mind, you're enjoying this just as much as I am."

"Telepathy is the worst," her boyfriend grumbled as they ate.

As dinner continued, though, Izuku turned the tables a little on Nana.

As she reached forwards to take another bite, Nana felt an arm snake around her waist from behind.

She yelped, "Hang on, what?"

She got cut off as Izuku pulled her back until she was flush against his chest.

She smiled as he held her gently, replacing her teasing with a soft embrace that had her feeling safe.

"I could get used to this," she mused.

"If you stop messing with me, you can have this," Izuku replied.

"You drive a hard bargain, Izuku," Nana told him, "but I accept."

At last, they ate in relative peace, with Uraraka cooing at how cute they were, and nobody paying closer attention to the way Nana still tried to tease Izuku by wiggling on his thigh as he kept holding her waist.

Not long after dinner, Nana yawned in a way that was only a little exaggerated; she'd had a very long day, and she had only been resurrected twelve hours before.

Izuku saw it, and finally found an excuse to get Nana and himself excused to get ready for bed.

He put a hand around her waist, and gently guided her up to his room.

Both of them ignored Mina's call of "Don't forget to use protection!" for different reasons.

As soon as they got upstairs and into a door that they remembered to lock this time, Nana turned around and lunged up at Izuku, kissing him firmly.

"That didn't go so badly, right?" she asked.

Izuku nodded. "Well, we have created a whole bunch of new problems for us to deal with, but at least they're problems more manageable than revealing One For All right now, I guess," he mused.

"Yeah," Nana said, "and now we have something else to figure out."

Izuku nodded in agreement. "Sleeping arrangements?" he asked.

"Sleeping arrangements," Nana confirmed.

They looked at each other briefly, not sure where to start.

Eventually, though, Nana huffed and said, "Well, I personally don't mind sleeping in the same bed as you. Hell, if you wanted to do more, you know I'd love that. But from what I'm seeing in your head right now, you don't want to."

Izuku nodded in embarrassment. "Yeah, I'm...not really feeling it tonight," he admitted, "sorry."

Nana shook her head. "No, it's fine," she told him, "as much as I'm teasing you, this is all really new, isn't it? Don't apologize for making a decision that's probably smarter than what I would do."

Izuku rubbed his head. "You got it in one," he said, "as close as we've gotten, I've barely known you for half a day, haven't I? And...I just want to make sure that what we have here is real before we go any further than how far we've done so far. I...I don't want either of us to regret this, and it's already going to be so hard for us if this doesn't work out, you know?"

Nana nodded. "Yeah," she said somberly, "it would be kind of hard to get over somebody when you share a link as close as ours, wouldn't it?"

Izuku looked down as the mood fell, but Nana wasn't done.

She reached up and grabbed the sides of his head, bringing him down until she could put her face against his, eye-to-eye.

She informed him, "Luckily, I don't think that we have to worry about that. I can see all of you, Izuku, everything you are and will become. You are incredible. Everything I see only makes me like you more. So, Izuku, don't worry about us breaking up because we don't actually like each other or can't get along. This day has been the most perfect I can remember, Izuku, because you were here. We fit together so perfectly, I feel like it's filling a hole I've been missing even since my last life."

Nana paused to let her words sink in.

Then, she brought him close, and said, "I love you, Izuku Midoriya. Don't ever doubt that."

Izuku grinned slightly, and he answered, "Fuck, you really just proved me wrong, didn't you? I guess I'm being silly about this."

Nana shook her head. "Nothing about how you feel is silly, Izuku. You are being incredibly kind and respectful in a bizarre situation. I'm glad that out of all the people who I could have had my mind linked with, it's you," she said.

Izuku's smile grew.

"And that," he replied, "is why I love you, Nana Shimura."

Nana's heart felt like it would burst.

She wasn't alone, she hadn't screwed it up like she'd feared she would, deep down.

She couldn't let Izuku get too big of a head, though.

"I know," she said cheekily, "grinding my ass on people tends to make them fall for me."

Izuku sighed, "How can you say so many things that make me feel like I'm floating on a cloud, that make me love you, only for you to turn around and say things like that?"

Nana could have answered, "I express love and affection through humor," but Izuku already knew that about her.

Instead, she replied, "You know, you could always shut me up by letting me choke on your fat co-"

Izuku cut her off, clapping a hand over her mouth and saying, "Alright, that's enough out of you. Let's shower and get to sleep."

Nana couldn't help it. As soon as Izuku lowered his hand, she said, "Can we shower together? To save water, you know?"

Izuku fixed her with a firm glare that didn't do anything.

Nana started to pull off her borrowed clothes, as well; she was tired of wearing clothes around Izuku.

"Oh, by the way," she informed her boyfriend, "I've decided that I sleep in the nude now."

Izuku raised an eyebrow as her clothes dropped to the floor. "Did you do that in your last life, too?" he asked.

Nana smirked. "You know what? I don't think I remember," she replied.
