Nana had to admit, she was impressed by Izuku's sheer self-control.
She hadn't been making it easy for him, sleeping on him naked and teasingly running her hands over his body all she wanted. Even if he'd said he wanted to wait until he knew that what they had was real, Nana already knew it was, for her.
The fact that Izuku was incredibly hot just made her more eager, though she would respect his decision.
Even though she knew how much Izuku wanted to bend her over the bed, he hadn't. Instead, he'd simply smiled at her knowingly, and gone to sleep. With a pout, she'd followed.
"I'll get him one of these days," Nana thought, "and then it will be glorious."
Somehow, she knew that she slept better with Izuku's arms around her than she had in the entire second half of her first life, after she'd become a hero. For once, her dreams were not haunted by fear and pain and her own failures.
She hoped that Izuku would always do that to her.
As it turned out, Nana and Izuku apparently needed that sleep, because they didn't make it downstairs Sunday morning until well after ten.
Uraraka had greeted them with a suppressed laugh on her lips, and Ashido had constantly waggled her eyebrows at them nearly the entire day.
Hagakure had been even more direct; she'd asked Nana how they'd managed to be so quiet.
Nana just smirked and said, "I have better uses for his mouth than making noise."
Hagakure had choked on air, then started laughing. Izuku turned red, but wisely hadn't said anything else, knowing that Nana would just say something else with heavy innuendo behind it.
Unfortunately, that didn't save him, as Nana added mentally, "Of course, if you wanted to find a better use for my mouth, I'm always up for a quick blowjo-"
"Why do you keep saying things like that?" Izuku interrupted, which Nana hadn't even known he could do.
"Because you won't let me do things like that, babe," Nana replied sweetly.
Izuku huffed, so Nana just floated up to his face and kissed his cheek, a teasing grin on her face.
The pattern continued through the day as Nana respected her boyfriend's request to tone down the physical teasing, by replacing it with mental teasing.
Every time Izuku tried to do anything, Nana found a way to turn it into an innuendo.
When he helped make lunch for everyone, Nana told him, "Mmmm, I love a man who can cook. Hey babe, you wanna put a bun in my oven?"
Izuku had almost dropped the plate of ham he was holding, and Nana saw an even better opportunity. She said, "You sure you've got that, Izuku? I can handle your meat for you."
That made her green-haired boyfriend glare at her, which would have been a lot more intimidating if Nana didn't know the sheer panic going through his mind at a woman giving him positive attention.
It was funny, sure, but the fact that a man like this had never been flirted with before UA was a sign of the life he'd lived.
Nana was still slowly sorting through all the memories and information she had access to from Izuku's mind, and she kept coming across something that made her furious.
Nana had always hated bullies, and Izuku had been subjected to some of the worst that she'd ever seen.
Not the worst, of course, but Nana knew who would always hold that title.
As Izuku finally gave her food, she continued shifting through her boyfriend's past, and the face of one Bakugo Katsuki showed up again and again, taunting, sneering, hurting.
Nana dug further, and saw that face sobbing, vulnerable, and scared; her heart softened a little, but not much.
She knew that Izuku had challenged Bakugo, that the explosive boy had begun a long journey to becoming a better person.
She still thought he deserved to get punched in the balls a few times. It would incentivize him to change faster, if nothing else.
Oh, and speak of the devil; Bakugo had finally come downstairs, that angry snarl frozen on his face, and he was marching towards her.
"Oh no," she heard Izuku say in her mind, "Nana, please don't kill him."
"I won't, Izuku. I'll just make sure he never forgets what he is," she replied.
Her boyfriend protested, "He's changed, Nana! He's getting better."
She answered, "I believe you. Maybe if I kick his ass, he'll become a better person faster."
Izuku said something else, but Nana got distracted as Bakugo stormed up to her and slammed a sparking hand on the counter.
"You the one claiming to be All Might's kid?" he asked.
Nana suddenly became very aware of how quiet the common room had become; anyone who had been talking was now waiting for Nana's response.
She decided to fuck with Bakugo a little before she demanded to fight him, just for her own personal satisfaction.
After years of practice, Nana was a master at making people angry, and with Bakugo, she knew it would be stupidly easy.
She calmly picked up her fork and resumed eating.
Bakugo snapped, "Hey, Twinkle Toes, I'm talking to you!"
Finally, she turned to look at him and said dismissively, "No, you're yelling. Come on, use your inside voice like Mama taught you."
Bakugo's eyes widened; Nana could have sworn she heard someone in the room snigger.
Bakugo shook his head as if to clear his thoughts, and said, "Fight me."
Nana could have cackled with glee; it was as simple as that, huh?
But she wasn't done winding him up yet; Nana cocked an eyebrow and asked, "Why should I?"
"Because if you really are All Might's daughter, I want to kick your ass so I can prove how much better I am," Bakugo replied.
"Well, at least you're honest," Nana cracked, "but I don't think Izuku would appreciate you kicking my ass, he loves it too much."
Izuku choked behind her; the sniggering was back, too. Bakugo's eye twitched like he was trying to suppress an outburst.
"I don't care what you and the shitty nerd do in bed, just fucking fight me," he demanded.
Nana replied, "Just for calling my boyfriend that, I'm more than happy to destroy you, any place, any time."
Bakugo grinned as he said, "Finally. You better fucking be at the sparring field in an hour, you hear?"
Nana felt her own face twist into a murderous smile. "Deal, you Pomeranian-looking motherfucker," she replied.
Bakugo snarled again as people started laughing, before stomping off.
Telepathically, Izuku told her, "Nana, are you sure about this? I don't want you to fight my battles for me."
She responded, "I'm absolutely sure, Izuku. I'm doing this because I hate bullies, not just for you."
"What are you going to do?" he asked.
She said, "I'm going to teach him a lesson, and get some satisfaction while I do it. No lasting damage, I promise."
"That's good enough for me," Izuku said, "I know better than to try to stop you."
"Good, you're already learning how to handle me," she replied, "now only if you learned to handle my body, you'd be perfect."
Izuku didn't want to respond to that, so he elected to break the awkward silence in the common room by grinning and saying, "Don't beat him too hard, okay? His ego might not survive."
Cheekily, Nana asked, "Would that be such a bad thing?"
That broke the tension, and people started laughing or talking about what had just happened.
Mina said, "Hey, Uraraka, I'll bet you a thousand yen that Shimura wipes the floor with Bakugo."
The brown haired girl eyed Nana and replied, "I'm not stupid enough to take that bet, Ashido."
"Fair," Mina replied, "that's why I bet on her."
As soon as Nana finished eating, she flew down to the sparring ground, which was really just a flat patch of dirt for hero students to whale on each other.
Might as well get her money's worth for the tuition she wasn't paying, Nana figured.
Izuku and a decent chunk of the class had shown up to watch, mostly because they thrived on drama and Nana had caused more in two days than the class had experienced in months.
When she landed within the area, Bakugo said, "None of this out-of-bounds bullshit. We fight until we can't or someone gives up."
"You're on," Nana replied grimly, charging her version of One For All at fifty percent.
Then, without further ado, they launched themselves at each other.
Bakugo immediately tried to blow her away with a massive explosion, but Nana just flew back away from the blast radius, then soared through the residual cloud of smoke, winding back a punch as she shot towards Bakugo.
Bakugo's eyes widened as he realized that Nana had come right through his attack without a scratch, and he tried to dodge.
Nana just sped up, and buried her glowing fist in the blonde's gut.
She'd never been one to yell out attacks, so she heard the gasp of shock from her classmates as the hit connected.
Bakugo went flying backwards, skipping several times over the ground before skidding to a stop.
As he struggled to his feet, Nana asked, "Ready to give up yet?"
Bakugo just snarled, "Fuck you!"
Then, he charged forwards, explosions adding speed to his flight as he closed the distance again.
Nana let him come, crouched in a fighting stance as the adrenaline started to make her blood pound in her ears.
She'd missed this.
This wasn't over yet, but she was certain she could take Bakugo now.
As the blonde approached, he reached forwards with an explosive blast already erupting from his palm.
Nana flew up and to the side, intending to avoid the attack and then pounce as Bakugo whirled in confusion.
However, as she turned, she saw Bakugo vaulting over where she would have been, aiming to attack her blindspot.
Their eyes widened as they realized their new position; Bakugo was upside down, one hand primed to attack a place Nana no longer was, while Nana was turning to face him, expecting to attack a confused and unprepared opponent.
Bakugo adapted, starting to change his aim with the explosion building up in his left hand.
But Nana has been a pro for years, and her speed in reacting to sudden changes in a fight was far better.
By the time Bakugo started to move, she was already on top of him, swinging downwards with a superpowered kick.
It hit Bakugo in the side of the face, sending him smashing into the ground below with a thud.
Nana started to float gently downwards, expecting Bakugo to at least be dazed after a hit like that.
Instead, he launched himself upwards, a savage look of anger on his face as he yelled, "I'm gonna kill you for that!"
He flew up past Nana, who had braced to dodge, and began to spin in the air, speeding up with successive explosions as the smoke warped and twisted around him.
"HOWITZER IMPACT!" he yelled as he began to fall towards her.
Nana wondered, "When will the kids learn that yelling attack names is stupid? Because if your enemy is dumb enough to sit there and calmly wait for you to charge up your super-special-ultimate-move, they're too braindead to be a threat in the first place."
It was time to end this.
As the smoke tornado collected around Bakugo, Nana didn't try to dodge. Instead, she shot upwards, into the vortex, ignoring the minor stings of small explosions as she disrupted the air currents Bakugo clearly wanted to use to make his attack more focused.
She found Bakugo in the middle of his personal firestorm, and said, "You know, this would be more impressive if I couldn't just do this."
Bakugo's eyes went wide. He asked, "How the fuck did you-"
He was cut off as Nana simply grabbed him and stopped using her quirk.
They were twenty feet off the ground by that point, which gave Bakugo just enough time to scream before he slammed into the ground, Nana's added weight above him and the extra strength of One For All making a massive dust plume form around them as all the air left Bakugo's body at once, and several of his ribs got bruised.
As he struggled to breathe, Nana stood lightly and put her foot lightly over Bakugo's throat, and he couldn't even spark to oppose her.
"You know," she said conversationally, "I know what you did to Izuku when you were kids."
Bakugo's strangled gasp robbed him of any air he'd gotten back, and he looked up at her in disbelief.
Nana continued, "And you know what I hate most in the world? Bullies."
Bakugo wasn't even trying to fight anymore as terror crossed his face; he finally realized just how outmatched he was.
"The only reason you're still conscious is because I happen to agree with Izuku about you. You can be more than a bully someday, but you have to realize that you were wrong first," Nana said, her eyes blazing.
Bakugo tried to grab her ankle with a crackling hand, but Nana pressed a little harder on his jugular with her One-For-All-powered leg, and he got the hint. He stopped trying.
That taken care of, Nana continued, "This is your reminder that you aren't hot shit. There are stronger, smarter, better people out there, and until you get your head out of your own ass and start fixing all the things you've fucked up, you'll never be anything more than a second-rate piece of shit. You hear me, Kacchan?"
It was Nana's use of the nickname he hated so much that finally seemed to make her words sink into Bakugo. He stared at her, eyes wide, no longer fighting, finally beginning to understand.
Nana knew everything. He couldn't hide anymore.
By the time Bakugo finally stopped fighting, Nana was leaning in close, the fury burning in her eyes as she told him, "Izuku only ever wanted to be your friend, you idiot. You couldn't take that because you knew he was a better person than you, and you'd never had to deal with someone being better than you before. Well, here I am, better than you, and the only thing you can do to change that is to change yourself. You want to prove you can be a great hero? Change your fucking attitude first."
Nana was almost finished, and just in time; she could see the dust around them finally dissipating, and she didn't need the class to see all of this.
She hissed, "Do you understand? I'm giving you another chance. Take it."
Bakugo glared at her for a long second; Nana matched his gaze evenly.
Finally, he nodded slightly; it was barely perceptible, but it was there.
It was a start, at least.
As Nana eased off his throat a little, Bakugo whispered, "W...what are you?"
Nana's grin was wide and merciless as she answered, "I'm Izuku's girlfriend, that's what. And on that note, I know you're going to try and be a better person, but you did bully the man I love for fifteen years, so...I'd say I'm sorry about this, but I'm not."
With that, Nana cocked her fist, and punched Bakugo in the face.
When the dust settled, the class was stunned to see Nana Shimura standing over an unconscious Bakugo, with barely a scratch on her.
She waved jauntily to them, and then said, "I figured I'd spare us all a few hours of this rabid asshole, you can thank me later."
Several people whispered, "What the fuck?"
Uraraka just laughed.
As they started to walk back to the dorms, Uraraka carrying Bakugo's floating, unconscious body like a balloon she'd won at a carnival, Izuku was having a crisis.
Why was watching Nana beat people up so attractive?
Sure, Izuku knew Nana was hot, but this was ridiculous. Something about the smile she had on when she was in the heat of a fight, the way her grin turned savage, the way she moved…
It did things to Izuku, and he didn't know why.
"I'm honored you like to watch me fight so much," Nana said in his mind.
Izuku didn't know if he'd ever get used to not having privacy like this.
"I know what you mean, Izuku. We can't shield the connection, so we'll always know each other's thoughts. That's a hard thing for us to get used to," Nana told him.
"I guess so. And yeah, you really were incredible to watch. Is that how you always fought?" Izuku replied.
"Yeah, I think so," Nana answered, "although I usually used the environment more for cover and such. I'll show you sometime."
"I'd love to see it, although I don't know how much it would help me," Izuku admitted.
"What are you talking about? Your One For All lets you use the quirks of the previous holders, doesn't it?" Nana asked.
Izuku nearly stopped dead. He'd nearly forgotten about that, with the chaos of the last day or so.
"Well, yes," he said, "but you're here now, not in One For All! Wouldn't that mean that I can't use your quirk, since you have it?"
Nana said, "I don't see why you couldn't. If I can use One For All and you still have it, why can't you have my quirk, and I have it, too?"
Izuku didn't have a good argument against that.
"That settles it. Someday soon, I'll teach you how to fly," Nana declared.
Izuku felt a shiver of fear at the thought, but he had something else to say to Nana.
"Oh, also. I heard what you said to Kacchan," he mentioned, "and I just wanted to say...thank you. I don't think he would have listened to it if the person saying it hadn't shown that they were stronger."
"That makes sense, in a weird and fucked-up way," Nana mused, "and don't worry about it, Izuku. I'll always stand up for you, no matter what."
Izuku's heart thumped at her declaration.
"No matter what…"
For the first time, he really understood that Nana was here to stay. She may have appeared suddenly, but he already felt like they were inseparable.
Izuku couldn't help but look forward to a future where Nana was always there. She'd already started to do so much for him, and she'd only been there for two days.
"Aww, I'm so glad you finally realize that I'm here for you," Nana gently teased, "I'm not going to leave you, Izuku. Not now, and not ever."
"The same goes to you, Nana," Izuku responded.
"Now then," Nana whispered into his ear, "I have a proposition for you."
Izuku hadn't even realized she was behind him, but there she was, floating up until her face was directly next to his, her lips right behind his ear.
Nana said, "So, you like the way I move, huh? When we get back to the dorms, why don't you take me upstairs, and I'll show you another way I can move, just for you."
Izuku shuddered, both from her words and the fact that Nana's lips were practically right against the sensitive skin behind his ear.
After everything he'd seen today, and his growing certainty that he'd always be with her, he didn't know if he could resist Nana's temptations any longer.
Five minutes earlier
Toshinori leaned back in his chair as he waited in his office for something to happen.
Tsukauchi wouldn't be around for tea for a few more hours, and in the meantime, Toshinori was bored.
He turned to look out his window, and wondered how his successor and predecessor were doing.
Certainly, it had been a shock to see Nana again after all these years, especially as a teenager missing most of her memories. But he welcomed it, if for no other reason than to hopefully give his mentor the chance to live a second, happier, longer life.
He didn't think she remembered her husband or what she'd been forced to do with her son, though...and Toshinori couldn't find it in him to tell her.
In his last memories of her, after her life had fallen apart, she always looked so defeated, and Toshinori didn't want to be the reason that look came back.
He'd rather that Nana have a chance for a new life, with a new family if she chose.
Sure, claiming her as his daughter made this whole scenario insanely confusing, and he wasn't looking forward to the questions and teasing from his colleagues tomorrow when they finally found out, but Toshinori was still glad Nana had returned, regardless.
He was sure that she and Izuku were getting along just fine-
Something moved above the treeline outside.
Toshinori's eyes went wide as he saw two figures fly up, one performing a move he recognized as one of Young Bakugo's ultimate moves, while the other…
"What the hell?" he thought.
That looked an awful lot like his mentor's old favorite trick…
"Are Nana and Young Bakugo fighting?" Toshinori wondered.
He considered alerting Nezu, or perhaps Aizawa, to the possibility of an unsanctioned spar going on, then thought better of it.
He didn't want to find out if teenage Nana could do the "I'm-not-mad-just-disappointed" gaze as well as old Nana could, especially if it was directed at him.
And besides, he mused, whatever the reason for their fight, Young Bakugo probably deserved the thrashing he was receiving.
