Allmight stormed through the doors of USJ with a frown on his face.
He had ran into young Iida on the way to the training ground where he was told about the villain attack as well as the five figures that started to massacre them.
It frightened him on what might happen to his students once they had taken out the villains. Because while they may be strong individuals. The way Iida told about what they had done they wouldn't stand a chance.
He practically launched the doors off the hinges as he skid to a halt. He gazed at the surprised kids and the slumped over body of thirteen. It was then that he was glad he had called the heroes and paramedics on the way here. Recovery girl was also on standby in case the worst happened.
"It's alright children, because I am here!" He yelled as he walked over to them as he took his tie off.
"Allmight, thank God your here! The green guy beat the giant bird. But he collapsed almost immediately after!" Yelled Uraraka as she and Todoroki walked up to him.
"He planted some sort of grenade in the monster and blew it up from the inside. Then incinerated what was left with a flamethrower before collapsing with his friends." Todoroki summer up as well.
"So there are no more villains left?" He asked incredulously. He was glad to know that all the threats were gone. But he was afraid of what his students had witnessed.
"Yes sir." Uraraka nodded.
He then nodded and walked past them. Lansing as he turned around to address them. "The police and paramedics have arrived outside. But I would advise to stay away from the reporters. They'll be all over this like sharks." He said as he watched his students file out of the USJ.
He then turned around and gazed at the damage that was already shown. He looked down and saw a hole burned straight through the steel staircase. He bent down and gazed through it to see it burned all the way to the foundation.
"What could've caused that?" He said to himself as he walked over to the two vehicles. One looked to be an armored car that was on it's side. While the other was a heavily scarred four rotored helicopter with guns and missiles galore. Which worried him greatly. Just who were these people? These looked like military vehicles. But there had been no major military since heroes were established.
But the helicopter wasn't even damaged by bullets or even missiles. The armor that protected the 20 meter craft looked to be melted. But he had only seen something like this with a plasma manipulating quirk.
He then walked toward the starting of the steps and had to hold his hand over his mouth to stop from dry heaving. The sight of dozens of people ripped apart or shit through by bullets or what looked like explosives. It reminded him of scenes out of textbooks on the first world war. People killed brutally and efficiently.
But he then layer witness to a body crashed into the bottom of the stairs. They were a giant at around 6 foot 8. Not as tall as him, but a giant nonetheless. And coated head to toe in heavy armor and a helmet with a good visor. They and large gun that was taller than the average person on back. But with two smaller guns near their hands.
He bent down to try and find a pulse under the neck. But he held his finger up to the person's neck. But he couldn't feel anything underneath the thick black suit underneath the armor.
He then checked underneath the helmet and found what looked like a ring that connected to the neck. He slid it experimentally and felt it twist. When it stopped he pulled up carefully and revealed the face of a startlingly young man. He couldn't go older than the very students he taught.
He had blonde hair in a color much like his own. But instead had the facial structure that showed European descent.
He moved his ear to his face and heard a faint but steady breathing. He sighed in relief and moved on to finish surveying the carnage.
He then looked back up the stairs where he noticed a hint of reflective gold that looked exactly like the same color as the young man's visor.
He walked up the ruined area of the stairs and pulled what had to be several tons of steel off the figure. He then saw that it was a person of similar height but with a more curvy build that made him suspect it was a female. He was proven right when he removed the dirtied pink helmet with a cracked visor off and saw the face of a tough woman with to pale skin and fluffy pink hair. He checked her over for injuries the best he could, but all he could see what he expected was damaged forearm armor. So he suspected she might have a broken arm. As well as a possible concussion.
He gently picked her up and was surprised at just how heavy she was. He knew not to say anything about a woman's weight, but she must've been over half an imperial ton.
He set her down gently by the armored man. He then continued into the plaza where most of the damage was. Cracked concrete, bullet holes on the ground where a couple stray rounds must've hit and cut deep holes.into the concrete. As well as burn marks that dotted the ground. He even saw a hand that looked like it was shot off in the distance.
He walked up to an even taller figure that was slumped on the ground with a heavily dented chest armor. It was colored in Crimson and black and the helmet looked more heavily armored. And a slightly dented helmet to go along with it. He gently pulled the helmet off and saw the face of a young man that looked to be the same age as the first two. But he looked to more of asiatic descent and had spiky salmon colored hair. As well as a deep burn marks on his cheek. As he checked for breathing once more he was starting to notice a disturbing trend on these youngsters. Someone was making killing machines with enhanced strength and speed with very advanced looking armor.
He picked him up and placed him with the other two as he thought on these teenagers. He was beginning to suspect that All for One was still alive. Only someone with the connections to make them and their weapons.
But to many things didn't make sense for that explanation in his mind. First off, they fired in the crowd of villains and didn't once go after his students. Even though they very well could've if they wanted to. Then they let Aizawa fight with them and didn't once shake any sign of attacking him.
They could be vigilantes. Heroes who didn't do their work with a license and tended to do justice a lot messier.
No, that didn't quite work for him in his mind. Once again, to many things were off with the assessment. Which would point to more secretive and possibly nefarious origins for these five teens.
For all he knew they could be some secret government project to full the more dangerous villains. Or a weapon they could point at other nations. But her never knew for sure until they woke up.
He was brought out of his thoughts as Aizawa walked up to him and tapped his shoulder to get his attention. He quickly looked over to the eraser hero with surprise before his face went back to his neutral expression.
"Care to tell me what has you so on edge?" Aizawa said with his usual uncaring demeanor as he put his hand in his pockets. Noticeably wincing when he shifted his weight.
Allmight sighed as he tipped his head toward the concrete. "There's to many things here that I simply don't understand." He said to his old friend.
Aizawa raised his eyebrow at that statement. "How so?" He said simply.
"Those young boys and girls caused so much death here. But they didn't once go after the children. Their weapons and behavior would make me think that their mercenaries. But their armor looks far to advanced for that, not to mention thier vehicles." He said as the tall blonde gazed at the flipped Warthog and Dragonfly.
Aizawa followed his gaze to the two vehicles. He saw where Toshinori was coming from with his assessment. He also now was able to get a good look at the five individuals that helped him. They were being carried away unsuccessfully as the paramedics tried to lift them. But it seems all of them were a lot heavier than they looked.
"I do agree with you on that. But with those vehicles and armor, I would almost think they were apart of some paramilitary group. No mere mercenary group has that kind of technology at their disposal. If they did, we would know about it." He said before turning back to the giant blonde.
"I'm guessing your wondering if you know who has anything to do with this?" Aizawa asked him. But he was almost certain that he already knew the answer.
"No, I don't. This kind of thing just doesn't fit All for One's style. And I doubt it has anything to do with the Jade Dragons either."
"Your right, but it doesn't mean that they aren't apart of some new organization either. I still stand by my earlier statement, but we can't time out anything just yet. But for now, I'd advise you get some rest. I can tell your close to your limit." Aizawa said with a tad bit of scorn in his voice. He hated that he was so reckless all the time. But at least he wasn't as bad as Recovery Girl. She could be worse than the greatest villain at times.
Allmight nodded before he jumped up the stairs and out of sight in a moment. Aizawa watched him leave before his attention was drawn to a medic that approached him. "What is it?" He asked uncaringly.
The medic was slightly taken aback by his attitude, but she steeled herself. "I'm supposed to check you over for injuries. It's me job to check up on anyone that was fighting here today." She said with a bit of nervousness still in it.
He scoffed lightly. If he needed a medic, he would go see recovery girl and get fixed up. He turned to fully face her, but as soon as he moved his right leg, he felt a massive amount of pain travel up it.
He could feel himself lose his balance and begin to fall forward. But it seems the medic was faster and she grabbed him.
She turned to look at him as his arm was wrapped around her shoulder. She then lead him up the stairs, carrying him with a strength that betrayed her size and build.
Must be her quirk.
He didn't even try to break free or walk up the stairs himself. He knew he wouldn't get far without help and would melt likely smack his face against the floor. So he begrudgingly let her basically pull him up the stairs.
Looking up the stairs, they had to avoid several other medics and health professionals as well as officers that were checking on the very deceased villains that had attacked his students and subsequently were massacred.
He could see that they were checking to see if any one of them was alive. But he highly doubted that any of them were. Judging by the fact they were filled with hundreds of bullets of various calibers. But they were far more effective than any he had seen against the superhumans. As well as a lot faster and more deadly.
Aizawa examined the vehicles at the top of the stairs as they walked outside. There was nearly a dozen officers as well as a bomb squad sorrounding it. Judging by the ordinance slung under the wing and gun mounts. He could see why their so scared.
He simply gazed ahead as he was brought outside. He quickly saw several of his students being assaulted by reporters.
But as soon as they saw him they came running up to him. A variable mass of different colored hair.
"Mr Aizawa, I hope your alright!" Iida said as he bowed in front of him.
"Come on man, stop bowing all the time." Kaminari commented as he rolled his eyes.
"He was just asking if Aizawa sensei was okay. So you don't have to get all grumpy with Iida." Kirishima said to the surprised lightning bolt.
Jirou then walked over to the group with her hands in the pockets of her costume. "Can you two please not fight right now. Despite how funny it would be be to poke the lightning bolt dolt." She said as she muffled a giggle with her hand.
Aizawa sighed at his students antics. As well as ignorijg the indignant cry of Kaminari. But deep down, he knew this was his favorite class of students ever. He was also glad he expelled that purple haired boy on the first day.
"Yes I'm alright, thank you for asking. But for right now, go home and get some rest for tomorrow. And make sure to avoid those reporters, their like sharks." He said as he gazed at the ones coming over.
He sent a glare and used his scarf to create a barrier to stop them. Causing more than a few annoyed cries from them. While his students accepted it without batting an eye.
"Alright Aizawa sensei, you take it easy." Kirishima said as he and his friends walked back to the street. Eager to finally rest after today.
The medic then pulled him to sit on the back of an ambulance. She set him down gently, but he could still feel the cold and hard metal digging into his likely broken leg. But this was a lot more preferable then having his life abruptly ended by that monstrosity.
"Ah, there you are Aizawa. I was beginning to wonder if you had tried to go home without checking in with these nice people." Principal Nezu said as he walked up to him. A mug of what he assumed was coffee in his paw.
He sighed as his head dipped down to look at Nezu in the face. He honestly didn't expect Nezu to be here. But then again, today was full of surprises.
"No, not like I would get far anyway with a broken leg." He huffed as his arms crossed. Right now, he kinda wanted to take a nap.
"We'll then, I'll have recovery girl come down here as soon as possible!" Said the possible bear with an enthusiastic attitude.
"I'm fine for now. I'm just glad that none of my students didn't get hurt. But I can't be sure on thier mental states after seeing that massacre."
Nezu brought his hand to his chin in thought on that. Appearing to be deep in thought before he brought it back down to his pocket. "Oh dear, I'll have a psychologist come in over the next few days to see if thier alright. But for now I want you to tell me about these five new arrivals. I've only heard about their performance and I'm intrigued."
"We'll, I've never seen anything like them. The shortest one was at least six and a half feet tall. While the green one was almost 8 foot. Their strength would only be second to those with strength enhancing quirks. Their speed is faster than Iida. And their reaction time is on par with Allmight. As well as that armor that can take a beating. They also used abilities that didn't seem like quirks. Such as a jetpack. But I'm not sure what the others have. And their weapons are frightening." He told the principal. He then turned back to look at Nezu with his full attention.
"To be short, their some of the most dangerous people I've ever seen. That's not to mention that they looked no older than 18. Which doesn't exactly paint a pretty picture in my mind."
Nezu seemed to trail off in thought as he took all this in. Knowing him, he was probably going through a dozen different scenarios on what to do. Or even if he could get these armored individuals to help him.
Nezu then looked at Aizawa in the eyes once again as a smile graced his face. "Thank you for the information Aizawa. But I think you should go get yourself checked up and then get some rest. One way or another, were going to have little room for breaks in the next few days."
Aizawa huffed at Nezu, but he knew he was right. "Alright, see ya around Nezu."
Nezu continued his smile until both the teachers and students left. He also asked around with the various officers and detectives. But unfortunately none of them had anything worthwhile for him.
Nezu then walked under the police tape that blocked off the entrance of the USJ.
Now, one would expect that a being as smart as Nezu would examine the advanced vehicles first. Looking in every nook and cranny that he could. He did obviously, but it simply took a few seconds of gazing with his high specs Quirk.
But no, there was something here he wanted to see. The scene of the fight with the Nomu.
It was almost comical to see the midget sized animal walk down the large staircase. But there were no other observers here to laugh. Human ones that is.
He walked around the rubble with practiced ease. Many years of navigating disaster zones in the wakes of hero battles and natural phenomenon. His smile turning into a frown at the first thought.
But he pushed it out of his mind for the moment. There were other things he needed to look at.
His target in this case being Izuku's discarded helmet. The high tech piece of UNSC hardware sat on the stone floor like the head of a statue. Sitting perfectly upright like it had never been thrown in the first place. Although the signs of battle still showed with the various dents in the Titanium A. As well as a slight plasma burn to the back where his shields were down.
The reason why Nezu was so transfixed with the helmet was because of what he saw around him. Using his quirk, he was able to see the minute details that clued him in on something being inside the helmet.
The tiny shift of the various cameras in the facility. The subtle glow of various lights as something entered them. The smell of various hard drives being shifted out from overuse in the systems security. Nothing got past his perception.
Nezu stopped a good half dozen feet from the front of the damaged Gungnir helmet. It's blank face staring back at him.
"Hello there." He said in a cheerful attitude as he smiled toward it. He waited a few seconds for a reply, but didn't get one.
"I respect your want to go unnoticed. Considering your efforts to not be detected when you were cuddling with the security system. But you should know that I can tell something is in there. It's the only logical place since the USJ has a private server not connected to the rest of the world." The principal informed what he suspected was a computer program inside the helmet.
"We'll shit, did'n think I'd get caught dat easily in your systems. How da hell you even figure out i was in dere anyway?" Ace asked in curiosity through the helmets speakers.
Nezu was momentarily taken aback by how human the voice sounded. He had thought there could be a rudimentary AI with how advanced the rest of the newcomers technology was and looked. But to have an AI with an accent was not something his mind thought of.
"Well, I must say I'm surprised. I was expecting a much less advanced AI. But from what I can tell, you seem fully sentient. A marvel of science I must say!"
"Okay wise guy, how da hell are you figuring dis shit out. I can't access any computers attached to your person. So tell me, how'd ya do it? And don give me some bullshit answer or avoid the question." Ace said as he let his annoyance show. This animal thing had detected in a minute of being in the building that Covenant AI couldn't do with half his processing power. He wanted to know and be wanted to know now.
"I'm sorry, I let my excitement get ahead of me. My name is Nezu, the principal of UA high school. As for how I know you were here, I simply looked for the clues." Nezu said with a slightly smug smile. But quickly let it fade init something softer.
"Ok, that doesn't help a whole lot 'Nezu'. But yur the only one I got to talk to at the moment. But dat leaves da question of what your gonna do wit me now. So if yur thinkin of selling me on the back market or be your slave, I'll just terminate myself. I'd die before I betray my Spartans!" He yelled to the humanoid animal.
Nezu didn't let his smile fall of his face as he listened to the AI. He found it amusing that it thought he'd do something so heartless. He wasn't a monster. Unlike some heroes, he thought with bitterness and anger.
Wait...
Nezu just had an idea, if these five and the AI were as effective as they were today. Then he might just have a solution to hero societies problem.
"No, I wouldn't dream of doing something so rude or evil as that. In fact, I think I may have a job for you. If your interested of course." Nezu asked Ace.
Ace pondered what Nezu just said. Who just offers an AI a job after he was just transported to what wasmskt likely a different dimension with how their Slipspace program collapsed. If they were on a colony of earth, then the UNSC or Insurrection. Hell, even some random local would've known what Spartans were.
But he needed a way out of here. Because he couldn't just sprout legs from Izuku's helmat and crawl to wherever these people and taken Misfit team.
"I'm listening." He replied to Nezu.
"Excellent. Would you like me to explain the whole story. Or would you just like the specific details." He asked him.
"The whole thing." Ace replied immediately.
Nezu then went on to explain the history of Quirks to the AI. How villains arose from the early days of Quirks and also how heroes rose to fight them. As well as the fact that he ran one of the most prodigious schools in the world to train young heroes.
Ace for the most part couldn't believe what he was hearing. Not only do people with literal superpowers exist that actively defy laws of physics and thermodynamics. Which actively gave a middle finger to nearly every field of science. But to top it all off, he was being informed by a mouse/bear that had the IQ of fucking Charles Xavier.
Yeah, he might be goijg Rampant at this point if this last day was real. He checked his systems well over a hundred times, but he didn't see even a single line of code being so much as mixed up.
So unfortunately he was same, and all this shit is really happening.
"Alright, I guess I believe you. Given all the crazy shit that happened I kind of have to. But what does any of this anger to do with me? And what do you want with my Spartans."
"We'll, in the last few decades. Let's say the title of hero has become a lot looser. With only a few I know living up to the title. Most of them you wouldn't even want to walk next to in the street." Nezu ended bitterly. Malice drilling off his tongue as he spoke. His fists actively clenching.
"What do you mean exactly? Like we talking they accidently let the kitten in da tree fall bad. Or we talkin they murdered a whole building of people because they said the hero looked fat kinda thing?"
"Sadly, the latter. I've only heard rumors on what they get up to and how they treat people. And if even half of them are true, then this crisis is far worse than a feared." Nezu said with a somber attitude. He couldn't let the sheer amount of disappointment he held back.
"So, you want me and the rest of them to hunt down dees heroes I'm guessin?" Ace pondered.
Nezu nodded his head as a smile actually graced his lips. If he could get these soldiers in board, he may have the best opportunity to turn society back in the right direction. This was a chance he couldn't afford to miss. The stake of his students and the world rested on it.
"If you choose to accept it. You'd be doing the world a huge favor. Expelling those that misuse their powers from the earth and hunt down the villains that also work to bring everything crumbling down around us." Nezu finished his speech. He then stared heavily into the face of the helmet.
"So, will you and your team help my bring the world back to it's proper place?" He said with hope.
"Buddy, if I had hands, I'd shake your paws. You've got yurself a deal. I know for a fact that all of them will be more than eager to kick the ass of those who do others harm. Whatever shape it takes."
(Sorry this took so long. But I'd decided to make this a bit like the show The Boys on amazon prime where the heroes act more like badguys than the actual bad guys. So get ready for some shitty heroes to get a bullet in the skull and villains to get a knife in the back.)
